Barclays Bank Tightened Its Belt
Barclays
Bank
tightened
its belt
only paid out
£3.4 billion
in staff bonuses
down 7.0 percent
compared
with 2009
we salute
severity
of Barclay’s
noble sacrifice
as bad debts
fell dramatically.
Barclays cut
its staff bonuses
in line with
a government
brokered deal?
Prime Minister
David Cameron's
official spokesman
rumoured
to have received
a nice back
hander
' declined
to comment
on Barclays'
remuneration,
telling reporters:
'Clearly, Barclays'
pay policy
is ultimately
a matter
for them
and their
board.' '
Thank God for
government-brokered
deal to clamp down
on excessive pay?
Sly Barclays' Bank
pulled the wool
over public eyes
played shell game.
Thimblerig, Three shells
and a pea quick follow
swift hidden bonuses.
How was sly money paid?
“Finance minister George
Osborne said total bonuses
paid to British-based staff
of the biggest banks would
be lower than last year
as part of Project Merlin,
brokered after weeks
of talks with the Conservative
-led coalition. '
Therefore how
did sneaky Barclays
increase bonuses?
Twas slight of hand
twas slight of hand
exclaimed shiny Bob
Diamond leading band.
Watch staff bonuses
down 7.0 percent
but yes yes yes yes
total pay rose a quarter
' as this included
payments deferred
during the global
financial crisis. '
' Explaining the cut
in Barclays' bonus pot,
Diamond said:
'We are committed
to demonstrating
that we are both
responsible in our
compensation
decisions and
practices and
that we take our
regulatory
obligations and
UK government
commitments
seriously. ' Really!
American Diamond
chief executive
of Barclay’s
is infamous in Britain
' for pocketing
huge bonuses
as head of
Barclays' highly
successful investment
banking division. '
Bobby Diamond pocketed
a 9 million pounds bonus?
I say average pay
at Barclays Capital
rose from £191,000
to £236,000; does
this not rather
made a 'mockery'
of the so-called
Project Merlin?
Poor staff only
£45,000 extra
read all about it
its true its true!
Twas British families
living on ten pound
a day I rue I rue I rue.
Mere £3,650 a year
I fear I fear for their
children living in
severe poverty oh dear.
Project Merlin
is Project Miracle
for fat cat bankers
lapping up all de
cream but David
Cameron canna see
past his nose canna
see big bonuses for
irresponsible bankers
fiddling file figures is
unacceptable immoral
in moral English society
poor anger will cad rub.

Transocean Ltd Strategy Time Money-Saving Decisions
Transocean Ltd our world’s largest off-shore oil rig company
continues to astonish continues to share market make a mark
after stain marking Gulf of Mexico inking in over 200 million
gallons of oil by rush exploding their rig Deep Water Horizon
now rubbing salt callously cruelly into pristine polluted raw wounds
vile nature destroying company awarded managers healthy bonuses
bonuses for major component safety to honour their environmental
strategy a series of time money-saving decisions deliberately aimed
at creating what President Barack Obama’s investigation commission
termed “an unacceptable amount of risk.” Secret Transocean policy
is revealed executive compensation bonuses motivating executives
“to keep up the good work” of cutting more dangerous safety corners
to correct what went wrong in management of Deep Water Horizon
rig takes profit profit profit time wasting big money money money
bonuses give all the wrong incentives to do the wrong thing when
principled leadership is lacking and environmental damage fines are
small change ignored. ‘The Wall Street Journal’ reports company’s “management reckons 2010 as its “best year in safety performance”
in spite of the accident” because cutting safety corners made extra
money money money. Transocean identified their magic bean profit
formula with celebratory words “we achieved an exemplary
statistical safety record.' Based on the total rate of incidents
and their severity' we recorded the best year in [our] safety
performance in our company's history.' in dollar profit terms

You And I
you and i
are the reason
things are
the way they are...
no, we didnt invade
Iraq and Afghanistan,
but we voted for
the clowns that ordained
these actions...
or, even worse,
didnt vote at all.
no, we didnt cause
the big oil spill...
yet by our reckless
consuming lifestyles,
driving our big SUV's
going nowhere...
maybe we did!
no, we didnt cause
the disaster in Haiti,
the hurricane in New Orleans,
the Japanese nuclear disaster...
but what have we done
to help fix these problems?
no, we didnt tell the banks
to foreclose on all these houses...
but we stood by doing nothing
while our government bailed
them out... and their CEO's
drew their bonuses....
no, we didnt tell them
to cut social security
and medicare, to cut
educational aid...
but we sit and watch
while the elite do their thing,
and pay no taxes...
you and i,
standing by, doing nothing,
saying nothing, not getting
involved...
you and i
are the reason
things are
the way they are...

Giving
By generously giving
Than selfishly saving
We become channels of blessings
To souls, seriously, sobbing
Craving for care and curing
Be a blessing
Give generously
Giving bestows bountiful bonuses
Boons from the Great God
For giving Saintly, suggests sacrifice
Presenting, represent planting
And as advanced by the law of harvest
Offering, as a seed
Basically bear a humbling harvest
Several sizes of sown seed
Thus the giver by not keeping
Benefits at an abnormal rate
From the only inexhaustible store
That store well-lit by the stars
The store waiting on cheerful givers
Be a Blessing
Give generously.
And be Blessed.

A Banker's Prayer
Dear God,
Let our borrowers pay us back
We can take no more flack
We have to remain on track
Or face the inevitable sack
Governments, tax payers, citizens
You name them
They are watching us
With focussed eagle eyes
We are literally surrounded by spies
Any whiff about a distressed asset
Or a loan turning toxic
Even if it is only an empty rumour
Is enough to send our stocks south ward
And of course provide the usual fodder
For dinner time conversations
Which continue to dwell unendingly
On the familiar greed narrative
Bankers’ bonuses and compensation
Are believed to have been the cause
Of the recent financial crisis
Apparently we did deliberately
Court disaster by
Totally disregarding long term risk
Just to take home meatier pay packages
Dear God it this were really true
We would not be here now
Offering this fervent prayer to you

Return of Pretty Boys Floyd
Tormented America will see his likes in multiples return?
Will America continue to flounder and churn?
Incomprehensible bonuses paid by taxpayers to high living, high rise thieves!
Stimulus of ever more unemployed lines is all America receives!
Tired of Ponzi schemes and such!
Surely America with its people is out of touch!
Anger and homeless frustration!
No positive direction - certainly no ovation!
Damned by fools with such leaders of destruction!
Their numbers need immediate reduction!
Ultimately other Pretty Boy FloydS will appear?
Responding to destitution and fear!
Nearly three quarters of a century ago at his funeral she predicted there would be another - AND another!
She of the Sallisaw autumn foreboding was my Mother!

Transocean Ltd Vision Gulf Of Mexico Does Not Count
Transocean Ltd. CEO Steve Newman scores on Gulf oil
the company noted 'the tragic loss of life' when BP PLC
exploded their Transocean's Deepwater Horizon oil rig in
the Gulf of Mexico on April 20 2010 killing 11 workers
causing the largest offshore oil spill in American history
Newman brushed the incident off proclaiming company
'exemplary' safety record which “met or exceeded certain
internal safety targets concerning frequency and severity
of its accidents, according to the filing with the Securities
and Exchange Commission on Friday.” Newman loves
putting out fire with gasoline getting big bonuses shafting
ocean environment with explosion policy profit not safety
is mean and a commission appointed by President Barack
Obama agreed stated explosion was caused by a series of
time money-saving decisions deliberately made by policy
Transocean, BP and oil services company Halliburton Inc.
These companies “created an unacceptable amount of risk.”
Newman environment can burn hang conservation ideology
reflected in blue lighter fluid burning of protective red tape
was polished off in the company regulatory filing bonuses
“appropriate as a way to recognize its executives' efforts in
'significantly improving the company's safety record' and
implementing a new internal planning system” (called burn
baby burn record 200 million gallons spilled oil stupidity)
Transocean Ltd further boasting 'exemplary' safety record
executives efforts 'significantly improving the company's
safety record' proudly continued stated “Those efforts have
'enabled the company to maintain its financial flexibility
during a challenging period, ('the tragic loss of life') while,
at the same time, positioning the company for sustained
growth in the future.' Achieved without handicap safety
first life saving policy limiting losing profit unforgivable
Transocean Ltd. CEO Steve Newman soaks up a calculated
by The Associated Press $5.8 million compensation package
after spilling 200 million gallons of oops accident crime oil
into beautiful Gulf of Mexico because nature does not count

Fake Dreams!
snowflakes coming,
Christmas, and what it's become.
a mad rush to Walmart,
a fight for the deal....
too many lights, too many adds,
credit cards and borrowed diamonds....
plastic Jesus's 'neath plastic trees!
and all the while the soup kitchen
struggles to keep up....
the shelters already full....
and the homeless walk the streets.
young men dying overseas,
young men and women dying on our streets...
a boy waits in his cell
for a card that wont come....
old people shiver without heat,
the food stamps run out.....
the bankers get their bonuses,
the kids in the project go without.....
and i'm sick of the whole damned thing,
fake America, fake freedom,
fake lights, fake dreams!

An Ending Of The Sad Story
it is such sad history
that even I am noting have
the strength to describe it
our country star, moved to the city
and were missing fresh air,
one meadow, water and fields,
not mentioning forests which
we seated - a long time ago when
not yet was our children
and this way, we were full of hope,
that will grow out of the star, super star
and the village will get well-deserved
bonuses like the most however,
our country star, moved to the city
and we ran short of words in order
to stop her a village, administrator said,
but alone she came back longing
behind the fresh air, one meadow,
fields and forests which alone we planted.
and now, this sad history isn't already
so sad but... I am pressed for time
entire to describe. I must see to it...
about the star, because again for us
she will splatter...

He Asked about the Quality
He left the office where he'd been given
a trivial, poorly paid job
(something like eight pounds a month, including bonuses)
left at the end of the dreary work
that kept him bent all afternoon,
came out at seven and walked off slowly,
idling his way down the street. Good-looking,
and interesting: showing as he did that he'd reached
his full sensual capacity.
He'd turned twenty-nine the month before.
He idled his way down the main street
and the poor side-streets that led to his home.
Passing in front of a small shop that sold
cheap and flimsy merchandise for workers,
he saw a face inside, a figure
that compelled him to go in, and he pretended
he wanted to look at some coloured handkerchiefs.
He asked about the quality of the handkerchiefs
and how much they cost, his voice choking,
almost silenced by desire.
And the answers came back in the same mood,
distracted, the voice hushed,
offering hidden consent.
They kept on talking about the merchandise
but the only purpose: that their hands might touch
over the handkerchiefs, that their faces, their lips,
might move close together as though by chance
a moment's meeting of limb against limb.
Quickly, secretly, so the shop owner sitting at the back
wouldn't realize what was going on.

Selected To Be Unfortunate
With a feasting that had to cease,
Those addicted to this most...
Still will not concede,
The reason why their jobs were outsourced...
Overseas,
Had more to do with their increasing greed.
And policies unionized to keep them high paid,
While also maintaining entitlements...
To ensure their lazy ways.
People want jobs but don't want to work.
They want to know what the incentives are first.
Two weeks with pay vacation.
Bonuses and raises based upon attendance,
And not common sense or competence.
With free medical insurance that provides for sick days.
Not caring whoever employes them,
Has a product to market and a service kept wanted...
IF in the game that employer wishes to stay and play.
Selfishness is not in the mix,
For those affixed to entitlements.
And the cupboards grow bare for those who left them there.
Those who refused others a right to share,
With an eliminating of their rights to opportunities.
Should not expect those selected to be unfortunate,
To empathize with them or express they care.
Since disparaties and misdeeds of deceit...
Has always been a motivation greedy people keep.
'There you go bringing up racism, again! '
Not once did I mention color or race.
Has your consciousness come face to face with it?

The yellow pearl control, attack, attack, attack, attack
Yellow pearl
It is foolish to venture into strange enchanted places
If they aren't the places you want to be

We will arise

Q.e.ii
Q.E. II
If at first we don’t succeed-
still more debt is what we need.
If foreign lands refuse to loan-
To hell with them, we’ll print our own
To posterity far down the line
We send the bill for our good time.
To big to fail? Not in the Black?
-Just lean on Bushie and Barrack.
When losses can be socialized
It helps to share the pain.
Banks never were this generous
When asked to share their gains.
Pay for this by printing that
Raise some taxes, pass the hat.
Each minute spend three million more.
Watch the cash fly out the door.
Wall street received their bonuses
The public got the shaft.
They seem contrite in public,
But, behind closed doors, they laugh.
The legal counterfeiter smiles
Hw knows just what to do-
He’ll stave off the deflation
by igniting Weimar II.

White Collar Crime Tax Payer Rewarded
it is hard to believe
we live in the long awaited
twenty-first century
when great gods science technology
were expected to solve social problems
yet America Europe suffer austerity
yet land masses are drowning
ice caps melting under global warming
as world sea levels are rising
it is hard to believe
as good deeds are persecuted
evil still adversity prospers
greed still wears rich trappings of elite legitimacy
ancient recipe robber barons morph into corporations
manipulate interest rates markets civilian savings
yet when their crimes of extortion are exposed
executives bankers reward themselves with shares
massive bonuses paid for with tax payer bail outs
beware bought sold politicians sell out governments
enjoying profits of their purchased corruption souls sold
Jesus prophecy poverty accuracy poor are still with us?
