Found In Abundance

Have your eyes been open?
Then what is it you do not comprehend?
Is it the affect of your observations?
Or the reality of the application?
Which is it?
The sting of the feel...
Or the absence of fantasy?

Which is it,
That leaves you filled with grief?
Applied upon your borrowed sorrows.
Which is it...
The sight of it without fruited scents?
Or the magnitude of your nonacceptance?
Which is it?
Didn't your actions present the invitation?
Your display of disgust and irritation...
Will not make what 'is'
Disappear from your delusions.
This mess has been left after the festival...
You thought you could forever digest.

What would you like...?
Would you care for another foreclosure,
To add with your sip of whine...
And the malicious dip,
You and the others find in a shared decline.
Which is it?
I'm sure all of this can be found in abundance for you!

When Revealing a Thought Process

I am at no advantage,
When revealing a thought process.
Although doing so,
Has helped me to quickly digest...
Observations with my eyes,
Without protesting what others deny.

Neither am I protected by an intelligence.
I would be if others in my environment,
Were not so eager to display a taste...
For debasing themselves,
In applied foolishness.
And a rush to prove sterotypes for them fit.

Why do I feel honored and not cursed by this?
Perhaps it is an identity and pride I carry,
That comforts my peacefulness.

And being labelled arrogant,
Amongst those without purpose exposed...
That is seen as meant,
Leaves few left respected for their dignity.
And I just have this need,
To be the best that I can be!

Another Perception Of Yours To Dramatize

Listen.
You're greedy.
You've been exhausting supplies.
And to keep what you need in inventory,
Is an expense.

You can,
If you wish...
Keep your desires to be fed cheaply,
A delusioned fantasy.

But the reality is this...
You've got to pay.
At least 'something' on what has been borrowed.

These debts can no longer be paid,
By threats!
As you continue to feast!

Listen.
You're greedy.
You've been exhausting supplies.
And to keep what you need in inventory,
Is an expense you refuse to comprehend.
Well comprehend this,
Regardless of your feeling offended.
The festival has ended.

To you your threats may make sense.
However...
What is needed is less of your greed to feed.
And more of your co-operation.
Or whatever you believe you need...
Will leave you mind quicker,
Than another perception of yours to dramatize!
With or without,
Your eyes opened wide.

This Stuff Is Blatant

My observations aren't created.
Rarely embellished are they envisioned.

I see what I see.
And hear what I hear.
Ignoring what is there,
I do not make that decision.

I am one of those probing nosey people.
Wanting to comprehend with a reason,
To question 'why'?
I can be analytical if I wish.
But what I observe...
There is little need for it.

This stuff is blatant!
For open eyes to satiate.
Blatant with a rawness,
Hard for some to digest.
I guess that is why so many folks,
Delude themselves with pretentions.
Preferring lives fantasized,
To moralize what upsets.

This stuff is blatant,
Oh yes.
There in black and white!
But I understand why,
Some choose to camouflage this in disguise.
So much truth conflicts with a resistance to reality.
And reality is much despised.

This stuff is blatant!
For open eyes to satiate.
Blatant with a rawness,
Hard for some to digest.
I guess that is why so many folks,
Delude themselves with pretentions.
Preferring lives fantasized,
To moralize what upsets.

Your Name Is Not Required to Be Tattooed

Every now and then an intention is made...
To get someone involved in the display,
Of unabashed ignorance.
As if a festival of demons have descended to begin...
An onslaught of misdeeds.

Those wise would turn away.
Or do what is best not to accept an invitation.
It is suggested to exit from these crowded spaces quick.
With a minding of one's business.
Why advocate a solicitation of wickedness?

As a recommendation
Avoid unneeded heated confrontation.
With the acknowledgement that some people are born,
To initiate conflict.
Your disgust does not have to be verbalized.
Just witnessed with opened eyes.

Remember...
The alternative is to keep a peace of mind active.
And,
If one is blessed to know the importance of having it...
The sustaining that maintains can be likened to the protecting,
Of a treasure chest filled to the brim with precious jewels...
That no one out of touch with the 'self',
Is not welcomed to share.

Know this and disappear,
From those clearly selling anguish and despair.
Your name is not required to be tattooed on any of it.

Know this and disappear,
From those clearly selling anguish and despair.
Your name,
Is not required to be tattooed...
On any of it.

Song: On Borrowed Time

We're all living on borrowed time,
Near the brooding sea and brine.
And we grow our primate's spine,
In every clime.

Since we crawled out from 'neath the grime,
And evolved to a species – prime.
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.

On borrowed time. We feed and dine.
On borrowed time. In swill like swine.
On borrowed time. We sup our wine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

On borrowed time. In slow decline.
On borrowed time. No season shines.
On borrowed time. No reason rhymes.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

We're all living on borrowed time,
Acting out our roles in mime,
As if you cannot tell that I'm confused.
We're all living on borrowed time,
And we're captured hook and line.
Enraptured lives entwine as minds unloose.

On borrowed time, by frantic chime,
Of doomsday clocks and scam sub-prime.
On borrowed time, we count the dime.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

From that day of Eve's droll crime,
When dull Adam su*ked the lime,
We've been living on borrowed time,
On borrowed time.

On borrowed time. By dread defined.
On borrowed time. Knee-deep in slime.
On borrowed time. We moan and whine.
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

On borrowed time. To heights sublime.
On borrowed time. Statistics climb.
On borrowed time. Who reads the signs?
On borrowed time. On borrowed time!

Someday

Written by ricki & kim wilde
Do you remember when tears fell like rain
When hearts got broken again and again
The disillusionment after the pain
Seems everything stays the same
But time goes by and youve further to fall
You build your life like youre building a wall
Then it surrounds you, and though you may call
Youre voice is so small
And all your expectations of how life should be
Have needed correction
There is no perfection but
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
Someday open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Lifes in your hands but youre closing your mind
Cos youre afraid of the mess you will find
Youre scared thats love gonna leave you behind
That youre running out of time
And all your expectations of how life should be
Have needed correction
There is no perfection
But
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
One day open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Someday maybe youll stop looking
For a world of make believe
One day open up your eyes ans see
Make it a reality
Stop crying
Looking at life through bitter tears
And face your fears
To reveal the thruth inside
Just like a child
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
One day open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Maybe youll stop looking
For a world of make believe
Someday open up your eyes and see
Make it a reality
Someday...
Someday...

Gotta Have You

Never been too much for watching
Cause theres too many things to view
And when eyes begin to wander
They more than likely never get through
But beyond my own temptation
Im enticed by what I see
And I wont feel satisfaction
Until shes where I want her to be
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
I gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Never been too much for talking
Cause theres too many things to say
And by the time that I start speaking
The right moment has slipped away
But I must break this old tradition
And try to muster up the words
And though someone else may have said them
Ill say them in way youve never heard
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Ive gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
(repeat)
Never been too much for touching
Cause theres too many things to feel
Plus theres too much disappointment
When you find out those feelings aint real
But heres a time when inner senses
Are gonna have to shine the light
Cause I have overly committed
Myself in thinking that youre alright
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
I gotta make you my reality
I gotta have you, I gotta have you
I gotta have you for me
You are a sight for sore eyes to see
Come on girl, make you my reality
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
Gotta be, gotta be, gotta be reality, baby
(repeat)

Open to Comprehend

Go ahead...
'Mess' with me!
This I wish,
With invitation I allow.
If it means from us...
A removal of clouds.

Perfect I'm not!
Nor try with thoughts exposed.
I seek to understand.
Not to keep my mind...
Closed to go unopposed.

Go ahead...
'Mess' with me!
This I wish,
With invitation I allow.
If it means from us...
A removal of clouds.

To vow from now on...
We can be open to comprehend.

You May Not Be Able to Feel My Pinch

My reality lived,
Is not yours to claim.
My insights are not like another.
Neither are yours.
But we both can agree...
However we are looking at reality,
There is little room to fantasize
The sting of its clarity.
You may not be able to feel my pinch,
As it is self inflicted.
But I am sure...
You have experienced a kick in the butt!
And that comes to us without description.
Or an invitation you solicit to kiss...
When the kicking of it has been missed!
Either way,
I recommend as a hint...
Do not make neither of those actions,
An accepted routine.
You will just get stuck going nowhere...
Seeking an increase of volunteers.
And many will have their boots tied and ready.
Tempers are on the edge!
So I would step lightly.

Make It Last Forever

Make it last
Ooh
Let's make it last forever
(Last... ever)
Don't let our love end
Thank God I found you
Let's make it last
(You)
Let's make it last forever and ever
Don't let our love end
Thank God I found you
Shorty knows she my babygirl and
Playa hatas try hard to get her
But she'll be loungin' in my cradle tonight
Oh
Typically a thug wouldn't say this
But to see your love has got me faded
No girl ever made me feel like you do, ow
Oh
I'ma be here night after night to
Feel your lovin' arms around me baby, baby, baby, baby
You make it alright
No one but you baby, baby
Can make me feel the way you make me, make me, make me feel
Oh
Oh... (ooh)
Make it last
Ooh
Don't let our love end
Oh, don't you let it end
Make it last forever and ever
Thank God I found you
Your touch is wonderful
Your love is so marvelous
Joy, that's what I feel when I'm with you
Yeah
Nothing, no one
(No one, boy)
Could compare to what we have
(Oh no, baby)
Love, it feels so good
I'm so glad you're mine
Oh
Make it last (forever)
Ooh
Don't let our love end
(No, no, no, no)
Make it last forever and ever
Thank God I found you
I'm yours
(I'm yours)
For always
(For always)
My shorty
(My baby)
Forever my baby
You move me
(You move me)
You soothe me
(You soothe me)
I love you
You know I do
Thank God that I found you
(Whoa)
Make it last
Ooh
Make it last forever and ever
No, don't you let it end
(Don't let our love end)
Make it last, baby
Thank God I found you
(Thank God, oh)
Thank You, Lord (yeah)
That I found love
That I found my true love
Oh, baby
See I was so lost without your love
I was lost without you, my every wish and dream
Became reality
Oh, I was so lost
Oh, I
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
Oh yeah
My baby I'm so thankful
(Thank God I found you)
Thank God I found you, I was so lost without you
My every wish and every dream somehow became reality
Brought the sunshine
Completed my whole life
Make it last forever, baby
Thank God I found you, you, you, you
You, you, you
You, you

I'm puzzled

The sky is so blue above me today.
Oh that I could keep it that way.
But one by one the clouds come by
and affect my mood as I look at the sky.

Am I that connected to what's up above?
Can I not comprehend what I'm made of?
Skin, bones, heart and mind,
all of which will be left behind?

It's hard for me on this old earth.
I've found it hard ever since my birth.
I feel sometimes like my home's not here.
Wherever it is, why'd it disappear?

Is it up there where the sky's so blue'
Is it only me or do you feel it too?
I know I'm as changsable as the sky.
What I don't understand is the why.

I feel comfort as I write these words
as in the background I hear a bird
singing and flying up in that sky.
Oh how I wish that it were i.

Love Is Only Blind When We Don't Want To See The Truth

it just funny,
how some guys will choose,
girls they don't know,
draw them in,
and mess with them,
they make you feel special,
make you feel like the one,
it all happens so quick,
you think it was love,
but love can be blind,
we see what we want,
until it catches up with us,
and we wonder how we got in this mess,
we think it becuz the guy loved us,
but in reality,
all they wanted was,
to turn us into what they want,
they want us to be there puppet,
not there one and only,
if that was the case,
they would want to take their time,
open us like a present,
and charish us,
not use, change and throw away,
we are better than that,
to be treated by a guy,
with little respect,
we only take it,
becuz we feel lucky to find us somebody,
who cares and open there heart,
but when you listen closely,
you realize how selective they are,
telling you what you want to hear,
and in the end,
they want you to accept their past,
but it seems like they can't accept your,
selfish people don't deserve good people,
but you see it happen,
in more ways than none,
but the only person that can stop it,
is the person that is in,
this type of relationship.

Still believing lies

you told me i will never amount to nothing,
it's a lie i still believe,
i can't blame that i'm still a child,
even though at times i still feel like one,
everything that you did to me,
messed me up in more ways than i can say,
i know you didn't think twice,
about what you did to me,
you were only worried that you would get caught,
you knew it was wrong and you still did it,
now i'm left picking up the pieces,
and trying to fix my life the way i want it,
it's a struggle but i'm getting through it,
i'm still angery at what you did to me,
that would never go away,
like ppl say it will,
becuz i am reminded everytime i'm triggered,
it sad that a real man,
have to stand up and tell me,
that everything i'm going through,
was not my fault,
i continue to blame myself,
cuz it was what you told me,
i was sexy,
i make you feel a certain way,
i was a child,
how did i make you feel sexual towards me,
when i didn't even know what that was?
you made it my fault,
just so you won't feel bad,
about what you wanted to do,
i didn't deserve to be treated like a toy,
i didn't deserve to feel such fear,
for having and opinion,
that was different than yours,
but i did,
everything i felt,
i thought i deserved in some way,
the guilt, shame, and helplessness,
i carried it everyday,
and kinda didn't know why,
the more i open up,
the more i discover the person,
that i have been so afraid to get to know,
the more everything you said to me,
is starting to disappear.

Saturn Nights

Written by dan peek, 1972
Found on homecoming and highway.
One more song about movin along the highway
Feel the fantasy in the air
(ah -- --)
Filled the room with flowers from norway
Sensed her majesty in the air
Made a sign bove your doorway, to show I care
Ive been waiting every morning
Just to help you find your way
Ive been standing on your corner
(dont go away) dont go away
One more song about movin along the highway
Feel the fantasy in the air
Ive been waiting every morning
Just to help you find your way
Ive been waiting every morning
Help me make it through the day

It Can Be Hard To Take

'What is fantasy? '

Devoid of any reality.

'What is reality? '

That depends on...
How much of it is being fed.
Where it comes from.
How much can one stomach.
How much is being regurgitated...
And what is left in the body to nourish one's mind.

'OH! ? So...
Why does 'reality' have to go through that process? '

It has always been that way.
It's just harder to digest.
And some folks have problems keeping it down!
It can be hard to take!
Especially on an empty stomach!

A Mess Left To Deepen

A mess left to deepen,
By those who now weep...
Yet they swept this mess to lay in the streets.
While shunning away those,
That came to volunteer their services...
For free.
But told the debris,
Had been a figment of imposed negativity.
What was imagined was theirs to condone,
With a turning of their backs...
To expose an ignorance shown.

And what was in sight for all to see,
Was an impossibility to correct...
With a steadfast stubbornness,
Heating up to get more upset.
And what had been mentioned,
Created tensions amongst those offended.

Well...
Offended and left alone to condone their mess,
Has been done.
Leaving those who weep in their sleeplessness,
United with their wishes kept intact.
With nothing to bring them back to their senses.
Since outstanding were the payments...
To keep them smothered in delusions.
And being addicted to delusions is all they've known.

Initiation You Know Will Irritate

Why should it have to explained?
Figure it out!
You have a brain.
And why some do,
I wonder of the use?
My comments aren't always patronizing.
And if a useless one could be renovated?
Only another miracle has been witnessed.
Is every thought in this air confusing you?
I can understand if it does.
You wish to play with the best of my emotions.
And I am looking for the nearest exit.
Somehow what had been attractive,
With skin tone claims and nonexistent depth...
Begins to devalue in purpose.
There is absolutely nothing left between us,
But a shared unpleasant attitude.
If I do anything you dislike or don't understand...
Why introduce an initiation you know will irritate?
You send an invitation to irritation each time.
And you want me to explain...
Why that white picket fence,
Wont find us together building it!

Sonnet 88: Out, Traitor Absence

Out, traitor Absence, darest thou counsel me
From my dear captainess to run away,
Because in brave array here marched she
That to win me, oft shows a present pay?

Is faith so weak? Or is such force in thee?
When sun is hid, can stars such beams display?
Cannot heav'n's food, once felt, keep stomachs free
From base desire on earthly cates to prey?

Tush, Absence, while thy mists eclipse that light,
My orphan sense flies to th'inward sight
Where memory sets forth the beams of love;

That where before heart lov'd and eyes did see,
In heart both sight and love now coupl'd be;
United powers make each the stronger prove.

The Sin Present

Those present shall amplify the sin,
Coming to the foreground is wise;
You are a talent of strength,
And absence has disappeared.
We sting and squirm like rocks of lead,
Finding the heat unbearable,
Internally we lament and feel joy as well.
There the guards find guests of the world,
And the present torture is overwhelming.
