Your Presence

Reality – THIS reality in which YOU live – is more beautiful
than the dream, I am content, it would seem you can work
wonders with your presence, when you are there, the sun
comes out, when you speak, you open my heart, when you
pronounce, my mind wakes up, with your sonorous voice
in my ears, I understand the meaning of living this life

Thank you for teaching me to trust by being trustworthy
and holding my hand when my fears held me over the
abyss, thank you for turning back as I fell trying to follow
in your footsteps, thank you for being just who you are
even when others did not comprehend your great spirit
and sweet intent – I appreciate you, right here, right now

Just as you are, without fear that you are just a figment
of my imagination – because you are not, you are so
much bigger than that – no fantasy can reach the height
of your stature, you just keep growing, I love reality
- at last!

Reality of a dream

A light conversation,
With only the ones we trust
The vision of happiness
A settled place for ones heart
The reality of a dream
Some no not were to start

The door we may rather leave alone,
For we fear the pain of disappointment
A guessing game without the answer
The reality of a dream
Runs hand and hand with
the reality of fate
Except both or walk away

Hard work with all but success
And years laid to rest
Be a curse this idea
This dream with its fears
From deterioration to motivation
The dream can be delivered

For the reality of a dream

Is that...........

Without reality there is no dream

Someday

Written by ricki & kim wilde
Do you remember when tears fell like rain
When hearts got broken again and again
The disillusionment after the pain
Seems everything stays the same
But time goes by and youve further to fall
You build your life like youre building a wall
Then it surrounds you, and though you may call
Youre voice is so small
And all your expectations of how life should be
Have needed correction
There is no perfection but
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
Someday open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Lifes in your hands but youre closing your mind
Cos youre afraid of the mess you will find
Youre scared thats love gonna leave you behind
That youre running out of time
And all your expectations of how life should be
Have needed correction
There is no perfection
But
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
One day open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Someday maybe youll stop looking
For a world of make believe
One day open up your eyes ans see
Make it a reality
Stop crying
Looking at life through bitter tears
And face your fears
To reveal the thruth inside
Just like a child
Someday maybe youll stop living
In a world of fantasy
One day open up your mind and see
Live in a reality
Maybe youll stop looking
For a world of make believe
Someday open up your eyes and see
Make it a reality
Someday...
Someday...

Awaken Little Dreamer

With my eyes closed I see sadness. Sadness I held in for so long. Sadness that is beginning to be replaced with madness. Madness that's been eating at my core, my thought process, my mind for so long.
Eyes open, I see a reality I've been trying to to change, to better it. A lie, I've been living a lie. My life is a lie, one I've been living for so long.
A single tear escapes my eye as I am awaking from my made up reality, my created world. Reality, my reality is tragic not magic. Tears I held back now pour from my eyes, tears I held back for so long.
With my eyes closed I see sadness. I see pain masked by madness. I see sadness hidden by a web of lies and as I open my eyes I hear a voice say, 'Awaken from your dream, come and face reality. Awaken little dreamer. Awaken.'

Edge Of Reality

(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
I walk along a thin line darling
Dark shadows follow me
Heres where lifes dream lies disillusioned
The edge of reality
Oh I can hear strange voices echo
Laughing with mockery
The border line of doom Im facing
The edge of reality
On the edge of reality she sits there tormenting me
The girl with the nameless face
On the edge of reality where she overpowers me
With fears that I cant explain
She drove me to the point of madness
The brink of misery
If shes not real then Im condemned to
The edge of reality
On the edge of reality she sits there tormenting me
The girl with the nameless face
On the edge of reality where she overpowers me
With fears that I cant explain
She drove me to the point of madness
The brink of misery
If shes not real then Im condemned to
The edge of reality
Reality, reality, reality, reality,
Reality, reality, reality, reality

A New Me

Things not always turn out to be
What you would love to see
However, reality you must face
It is like being here
And at same time, lost in space...
One must welcome destiny without fear...
Never losing touch of reality
Turning down the world of fantasy...
Living a life upright with a big smile,
As a real person with class and style...

Fooling Ourselves

Imagination is not reality.
Romanticism is not reality.
Fallacy and fantasy follow suit.
We get pleasure by fooling ourselves.

I am a Dreamer

I am a dreamer
like everyone else
but I am not like other dreamers
I dream the possible

I know my dream can become reality
but I am not quite sure how or when
it seems impossible
yet I see others live it out

Dreaming is indescribable
I do not comprehend it
when I have a grasp on it
it embraces me

I love to dream
It is reality so close,
close enough to touch
but I stretch out my hand to touch nothing

Dream big, dream little
a dream is a dream
chase them
who knows what they will entail?

We be Dragon's...

Liberty comes when the mind is free,
From the daily grind of reality.
Minds shall soar to heights anew,
This is where we live both me and you.

Reality for us cannot comprehend,
Impossible is possible until the end.
Knowledge is meaningless when few can see,
Yet all could behold if they set the mind free.

For we are in the books and live in the arts,
In the buildings the pictures and other parts.
Search within your heart where burns a fire,
For we be the dragon's of your heart's desire...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

But I don't want to for M lady Ernestine

I wander freely mentally.
Enraptured by the things I see
within my worlds of fantasy.

I just reject reality
where nothing ever works for me.
Quite certain I would rather be

divorced from harsh reality
There is no comfort here for me
and live in my own fantasy.

A dream which cannot possibly
be realised apparently
Reluctantly I must agree.

That I am where I’m meant to be.
You can’t escape reality
and learn to act responsibly.

Son of Man...

In my journey through life I seek knowledge and wisdom
Impressions of a soul marking my journey through existance
My inner self open to the light ending my eternal darkness
The fear of truth no more filling my waking reality
Truth travels beyond an imagination so vivid
Yet I fear the truth of reality in my waking world
I am son of man born into a world of misstrust
My dark brother living in the shadow of pure light
Deaf and blind with no heart, I seek out the light of love
I am son of man... And as always... I seek answers...

Spread the love... The peace will follow..

Dreaming Reality

In the real world, as in dreams,
Nothing is quite as it seems.
To see what we have never seen,
To be what we have never been,
To shed the chrysalis, learn to fly,
Depart the earth, kiss the sky,
To be reborn, be someone new,
Is this a dream or is it true?

Is my life in fact a dream?
Are things not always as they seem?
Are daylight hours reality,
Or do I dream eternally?
In the dream world or the real,
We cannot know what we can't feel.
What is not a dream by day,
Comes to us at night to stay.

Dreams - vivid colors of life,
Or fleeting, obscure, murky strife?
Façade of reality brings,
To the mind, exquisite things:
Love, regret, memories, cheer,
Imagination, even fear.
The lives we live appear, it seems,
To be a dream within a dream.
A long dream of hopeless sorrow,
I'll dream my life again tomorrow.

Dreaming Hereafter

If i ask what would be most profoundest of dream
The answer would be imagining hereafter
The man himself is twice removed from reality
Due to the fallacy created by the charm of non-reality
Which is quite abysmal in taste devoid of scent
Like a scentless flower like a trashy substance in a basket
The buds can only bloom where where there is reality with meaning
Which is not the copy of copy to decode its meaning
That world is unimaginable with its frugality
And the fact is actually a factual reality

The Dreamer's Poet

Dreamers dream
dreaming that
all their dreams are dreams;
and is reality then multiple-shaped
or itself a dream?

If dreams are things not real or true
or don't yet exist
then what does it mean for dreamer to
act upon the dream and bring it forth
into reality?

Was the dream just reality
not yet existent;
in waiting so to speak?

Or was it live
always there
waiting to be discovered?

Seems to me
this is much like a poem;
how the poem comes to be-

unless, of course,
the poet
is a dream too,
outside reality
paradoxical conundrum
don't you see?

And more:
could it be the Dreamer's Poet
in dreaming thus
creates the Poet
and the Poetry
both of which
become Reality
Thus?

Innovation is this amazing intersection between someone's imagination and the reality in which they live. The problem is, many companies don't have great imagination, but their view of reality tells them that it's impossible to do what they imagine.

The Sad Dream

The night was cold and long,
A thought came along the way,
Whispering words of a tragedy,
It must be an informer, or an advisor,
The tragedy, story of a bad man,
The whisper louder than the shout,
There was a legend told that night,
Somebody showed what it lookeed like,
She shadows that passed her,
It wasnt me but she thought it me,
I was lover and a friend,
But the dream chased me away,
Far away from the hand I held,
It was a dream, the great thougt,
The surreal that took my love away,
The reality that never was.

Will I ever see you again,
Or maybe you were married by the dream,
The unusual myth and ideology,
The space it created,
We dream and dream big,
Do we maake dreams our masters,
We think and we think wide,
Do we make thoughts our aims
For the loved ones you betrayed,
In your life im a dream,
In your dream im not your life,
The thoughts I have for you my dear,
The space you always try and keep,
Will I ever be with you,
Living in the reality of the frightful dream,
I wont strike your fear,
You made me a wolf among sheep,
A tale of a sad dream

Real Love

I gotta step back, back to see reality
Remember girls that were my destiny
Those feelings that were always inside of me
Always I thought - bam - there was reality
My heart my insight once had a bright light
Forever I thought but I never know
That that kinda love, onesided and not given back
Would break my heart, yeah and would break my back
So never again I vowed to the earth and sea
To trust to rely on girls to set love free
Feel the thing in my heart the way its been before
But life was gonna teach me, down in n.y.c
So my memories full of fear and agony
I experienced the way when love is set free
Revealed by both though never said thru words
But this time love failed cause distance sealed it
Chorus:
Think about the real love!
So I was back, back in the place
Where I started before not willing to love
Show feelings no more, wrong time,
Wrong place they said to myself, what a disgrace
cause then it happened, emotions continuity
Took its toll prepared todays reality
Courage and luck on my side and inside of me
R-e-a-l-i-t-y, its been to me
Like a dream I had as a little child
With a thousand colours totally wild
Bleedin into one embracing themselves
Brighter and more fluorescent than anything else
And now Im back, back in my reality
Looking at my life, my love and feel the
Essence of thruth, ethereal eternity
I finally found it, God I love reality!
Chorus
Real love is found just once in life
Chorus

Head vs Heart

Head vs heart,
Reality vs dream,
But what happens,
When your head says dream,
Your heart says reality,
Can you trust them,
Or do you wait,
For some little sign,
And then you lose it all,
The dream, the reality,
Both are gone,
Over night everything’s lost,
Oh just to change time back,
And go with the heart,
Cos now I realise,
That’s what I wanted,
I just couldn’t see it,
Cos the head was trying,
To overrule my heart,
To save more pain,
In the end I lost,
Nobody else,
The one who’s lonely,
Without a hug,
That was a lesson learned,
Never to be forgotten,
Head vs heart,
I’ll pick heart every time!

Accustomed To Her Face

Out of the dark I see a face
one of beautiful and sincere complex
I wish I knew when that face would come
and guide me to a better place.
This face, I seem to know from somewhere
It still exists, not only as a figment of my imagination,
but rather, one in a desperate situation for me.
That face whose is it? but someone's
Those eyes, what do they see? but a story
Her mouth and lips, what could they do?
but speak and smile to me.
That expression, whose is it? but mine to see;
I try and understand the message conveyed.
Has it ever occurred to anyone that it might be the one for me?
In a world of fantasy I deem she's mine,
but who else could she belong to?
I find it hard to realise the position
of what I have witnessed has put me in.
Who would possibly keep her away from me?
but someone like myself, I'm sure she knows.
It is the only answer I can offer.
Then I may have a twin in the world;
perhaps my one and only adversary
in my love dream yet to come true.
The face has gone back into the gloom
Her face has gone...............................

Why did she appear as if with news?
Back into the past I think for clues....
Not just to haunt or torment me it seems
but to remind me that she exists in reality.
Not only just as someone out of my dreams
making the hope of finding her an actuality.

No Fairytale

I am not living in a fairytale
Not all dreams are breathless
Not all hopes are endless

I am not living in reality
Every tear is endless
And everything is breathless

So Cinderella call Snow White
Say listen up girl
I feel like something isn't right

Ask Prince Charming where is Belle
She's sitting all alone
She didn't know she'd fall until she fell

Sleep Beauty where are you
You toss and turn in bed
You walk around reality while candy dreams fill you head

Reality is not a fairytale
Come back down to earth
Come back down now

I do not forget the way you looked at me
I do not regret putting my trust in you
Not everyone knows who you are
Not everyone knows who I am
But I
I would do it all again

Run away from lies and cheats
Happiness cannot be bought
And yet it can be beat

Work all day and work all night
Throw weariness aside
Not to see without my sight
Endless tears fulfill this fight
But I
I don't abide

Maybe All Of Life Is Caught In Brilliant Moments

Maybe all of life is caught in brilliant moments,
when the physical and spiritual becomes one
moments of bliss, moments of true happiness
and I am remembering the times that are gone

while I struggle on in a world mixing truth and fallacy,
in love and loving and the war of these to get the upper hand
and have to make a living in a confronting kind of reality
and maybe we mortal beings do not really understand

that loving is in reality a free thing;
in lives that have been spoilt selfishly
we want to control and tame everything
and are not content in leaving things to develop naturally

but the adventure of loving and live still goes on
while in living with the pathway of life we move along.
