Exactly the Way It Is Seen

It is pointless to review,
A detriment that has been done.
Pointless it is to ask opinions,
From anyone.

It is exactly the way it is seen.
And the steps to get it there...
Were placed with all aware.
Some preferred to see it for what it was.
While others chose to have it disguised...
And they are the ones unbelieving,
The realities on the scene!

And to chase for explanations,
From those who put in place the degradation.
Is to verify the obvious...
Some chose to see others and not themselves,
Being demeaned!

Now that 'melting pot' is hot!
With all knowing what it is like to be burned!

Pointless

It's pointless.
Though I like it still.
It pleases me so.
It fits the bill.
Continuing on through useless drills.
The absurdity of it really kills.
I love these old pointless horror films.
The plot is wretched and extrmely thin.
Their laughable attempts to be quite grim.
It never ceases to make me grin.
I love them tons.
With pointless puns.
Their exquisetlessly needless and quite dumb.
They never stop in endless run.
I want to see them all it's so much fun.
They're completley pathetic like this poem.
Going on in endless drone.
I like it still it's pointless fun.
You do to cause now it's done.

It Becomes Pointless

It becomes a pointless,
And forgettable activity...
When a conscious mind,
Bemoans an obvious blockade,
Preventing a forward movement...
Those with eyes,
But refuse to see.

If those in the majority,
Have decided confusion is the way...
Why bust a gut,
Yelling as if crazed...
A deadend selected,
Is not a closed gate that will open...
If they stayed and prayed.

It becomes pointless.
Demeaning!
And most importantly...
Attracts an attention,
Others find amusing.

and why did He choose the manger, and Mary and Joseph?

and why did God chose
the manger for the seat
of his birth and Mary his
physical mother and
Joseph the carpenter?

he chose the place of the
poor, the innocent face of
the unsophisticated woman,
the callous hands of the
simple carpenter in the
small town of nowhere,

he chose simplicity and
poverty, he never chose
us, our place, our time,

because he may not have
liked it at all. Too rich,
too arrogant, too shiny,
and so dirty.

I Chose Hope

I chose to hope again today
To believe in beauty,
In sunsets,
In the rain

I chose to laugh again
To dream,
To dance
And to sing with abandonment

I chose joy instead of despair
Smiles instead of many tears
Colors replaced the dull
And a rainbow filled my vision

When all around me I could not see
And when the coffee was toxin in my blood
When the world was full of trouble and nothing else
I chose hope

Hope discovered,
For a while undecided
Hope now declared
Hope

I chose to dream of a better day
To wish for things unseen
To search for the unimaginable

I chose to place my hope above
Hope not in mans strength or ability
Not in political systems,
in racial tribalisms,
in ethnic loyalties

Birthed out of a love that endures all things,
I chose hope that never fails
Hope for today and hope for tomorrow
I chose hope

Reducing Their Associations

There is no time left,
To waste in contemplation.
Or sit in waiting for days to return,
To make the comforting of insecurities...
Welcomed to feast on denials.

These times lived upon us now,
Are for those getting introduced to truth.
And reducing their associations,
From the many still using reliable excuses.
Even though those events that happened,
Just last week protect no one.
None with beliefs...
That the use of outdated info can be used as validation.

That's how needless those stuck in mindsets are.
Depending on pointless explanations to find themselves.
They wish to detail that which has already been understood,
And gone!

There is no time left,

Assessments to Seduce

Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.

Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.

Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.

I chose to heal.
I chose to sing.
I chose to dance and do those things.

Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.

I chose to stand.
I chose to walk.
I chose the Sun!
Not the miseries others wished upon me to bring.
Hoping from obstacles faced,
I would run.

Address this any way you wish.
But during my grief periods...
God was with me.
And both of us sat in sorrow alone.

I chose to heal.
I chose to sing.
I chose to dance and do those things.

And whatever it is prioritized on your agenda?
I wish you all the best!
But don't count on me,
To give it attention with signs of protest.

I have chosen to ignore people like you.
Knowing that a focus on my own happiness...
Is what God wishes!
And that gift God has given...
Has proven to me I am blessed!

Address this any way you wish.
Your judgements passed on me does not matter.
Nor your assessments to seduce your reality.

I have chosen,
The freedom to be me.

Sickened Sweet With Promises

They chose to take,
Another route.
In pursuit.
They would face,
A deadend to defend and embrace.

They chose to take,
Another route.
To then declare.
They,
Were not aware.

Sickened sweet with promises.
Yet
None of them existed.
Fixed with addictions.
And no one cared.

And those who followed say,
The choices made weren't theirs.
And those who followed say,
They were not prepared.
And those who followed say,
The air that laid sweet with promises to keep.
Would amongst them be shared.
Whether or not.
Promises kept may not be there.

They chose to take,
Another route.
In pursuit
They would face,
A deadend to defend and embrace.

They chose to take,
Another route.
To then declare.
They,
Were not aware.
But a choosing of deceit they did.
And none amongst them dared.

Sickened sweet with promises.
Yet.
None of them existed.
Fixed with addictions.
And no one cared.

Showmanship

I thank you for that depiction,
And description given to others...
Of the origin and depth of my pain.
And even though you believe,
You have more to gain...
With your pointless explanations.
I think it would be best,
If you left the podium...
To let me give my own analysis.

Your interpretation given,
Although quite entertaining...
Would be better comprehended,
If I included more temperment.
That connects to an attitude,
I've come prepared to deliver...
Without such showmanship.

Slipping Under The Radar

What he has managed to achieve and accomplish,
To us has made no sense.

'Why doesn't it? '

From what we have heard about him,
And from reliable sources too...
All he has ever done was waste valuable time.
As well as his gifts and talents he has not used.

'Well...
It is obvious to me,
He knew more about himself...
Than the others believed.'

But how could he manage to achieve and accomplish,
With a slipping under the radar to go undetected...
As he has successfully done?
With a collecting of his own set of fools.

'Perhaps he was not concentrating on the rumors.
And feeding them to everyone to entrap for fun.
Knowing that the doing of this...
Would one day have him shining in the Sun.'

He has not played fair,
In the eyes of those who chose to belittle him.
Proclaiming he was delusional.
Amounting to nothing with a going nowhere.

'He did not play fair?
I think he played it just right.
Whose mouths have been silenced?
And whose lips have been closed tight? '

So...
What should 'we' do about the rumors?

'WE?
Don't get 'me' involved in this.
He didn't make me look like a fool.
I verify 'all' of the gossip I hear.'

Young Reviews

Some young poets may mistake
Reviews as a door for more discussion
A vast arena where one can make
An endless lane for Argumentation.
Reviewing further on a review
The comment box becomes gibe talk
Topic diverted to irrelevant issues
Until its there that Gossip walks
Perhaps a line has to be drawn
Where Poetry as art should have a place
Center the review on what it spawns
The impact, the theme, what the poems says

-------------

This poem was written as a satire for young poets
who have mistaken the comment box as a place for pointless
discussion/arguments and some have gone so far as talk
about an erring mother (the subject of a poem) . Such
practice diverts the purpose for reviews - which is to
comment on the poem - not on the character or subject,
for then it ends up as a 'gossip box'.

I Could Not Love You

There're a billion people in the world
All of them equal but of different worth
I find you to have a value equaled by no other
You are a rare and beautiful flower
But I'm sorry that I could not favor you
And make you the queen of my heart as I should
That instead I chose a different group
And I chose to favor them more than you

To favor a person means that you are two
And I'm sorry that I could not be with you
And a favored another one more fair
Although you are a true queens heir
And amongst a million kings and princesses
You always claimed that you were the fairest
And though your heart is the kindest I knew
I apologies that I could not favor you
And instead I chose to favor another
Not your equal, but not your better

I see a million faces each day but only acquaint with a few
You and I went different ways so I could not favor you
You and I once had our chance but I chose to let it go
You had no fault at all as I made the choice alone
And instead I chose to look for another
And I did favor them more than you
Although in my eyes you are a flower
I'm sorry that I could not be with you
And value you as a queen like I should
But just as I favored another more than you
Another favors you more than any other
And chose to be with you and no-other

Who Are the Victims of This Misguidance?

They were not aware they were being treated special?
Like one who waves,
From the backseat of a limousine.
Did it occur to them...
As they passed those homeless,
Hungry and poor.
Their very presence had been considered obscene?
And why was it necessary...
To careen through lost and vacant dreams?

Who are the victims of this misguidance?
Who are the victims of this scene?

They were not aware they were being treated special?
Even when hints were dropped...
They should continue and not stop.
They should not ask any questions,
But proceed to throw bread...
Out of the window instead.
And consider those who ran after crumbs...
As birds without wings.
Since they do not like to be called bums.

Who are the victims of this misguidance?
Who are the victims of this scene?

And they were not aware they were being treated special?
Those who rode inside by a driver.
Nor did they who chased collecting another's waste.
Believing their needs were being met.
By someone who accepted them...
And left them to forget.
As those electing to choose values of poor taste.
Something neither chose...
As they ran or rode,
To remember or regret!

Who are the victims of this misguidance?
Who are the victims of this scene?

slUmdOg's cHase for liFe

Born with nothing, marked by poverty
Lived like a dog, treated impatiently and unhuman,
Discrimination received, mocks from the upper kind
Until when and where will they run?

Run, your kind, run!
Fill your stomach, battle hard for survival,
You, who's surrounded by other's greed
Whom you will seek for help?

Trusted no one but yourself
You chose to chase life on what you know is best,
The aftermath of what you chose will give you rest!

With Looks On Faces

It has been historically reported,
Commandments were sent...
To be obeyed as ordered.

There were ten of them.
Depending on recommended versions...
All of which ignored.
To be followed...
Not amended as wished.
But a need for satisfactions...
To a detriment,
Was explored.

To redefine The Almighty's wish!

Man chose to dilute these truths.
With laws to complicate the basics.
And today humanity faces,
Consequences to embrace...
With looks on faces fed with greed.
And difficult to replace a created disgrace.
But actions are not traced...
Back to a feeding that chose to disbelieve!

And that feeding still exists.
With screams from protestors...
In demands for more of it!
With looks on faces...
Addicted with insistence,
To a feeding of more of their greed.

No Where

Here now
we continue pointless conversation
Its 3 oclock in the morning
we are going no where so we are yawning
drinking for the sake of drinking
pointless conversation but we are talking
so we continue
we continue to pour whiskey into my glass?
And I can't help but look at the clock because I like watching time pass
because I don't care
I like where its going
even though I know its not going anywhere
because we have no where to go
we don't need to go quick we don't need to go slow
darling we have no where to go
taughnted by tiredness, still neither eyes do close
as we speak we refuse to listen to the truth in which we see.

Sleepy

It's frivolous, it's pointless,
I'm waiting here in line.
I'd buy a cup of coffee
But i just wanna kill some time.
I'm watching you,
Now, i'm staring at you.
I figure that you notice,
But you don't really have a clue. (a clue)
Time sure does fly
When your just a lonely boy
Waiting for someone to come along
And ruin your fun
Sitting all alone with that quiet smile
On your face
I pretend i'm not interested
By staring off in to space.
Why did i act like i didn't even care?
Now i wish that you could only be there.
A game of cat and mouse that curiousity has
Killed,
Just call it pointless... call it what you will.

Reasons

(reba mcentire)
I prefer yellow roses to daisies
Ill take the mountains over a postcard view
Ill order steaks every time instead of hot dogs
Thats why I chose him over you
I like to love somebody handsome rather than ugly
I like happiness instead of being blue
I like to talk real late at night after making love
And thats the reasons I chose him over you
Well I dont know how I ever did without him
And I dont understand why I put up with you
Well I know that the sun shines the brightest when youre happy
So go ahead and think just what you want to
But I promise what I just told you is true
Oh I love him so much and he loves me too
And thats the reasons I chose him over you
Just some of the reasons I chose him over you
Oh over you

Restricted Detriment

Your wishes to remove my thoughts...
Are as ridiculous,
As your demands to shut one's lips.
Or have someone produce something less offensive...
So you would be pleased with it.

But you are not the keeper of another's experience.
And your desire to censor one's speech...
Comes to your restricted detriment.
Found by many,
To be out of touch with reality.
With perceptions removed from common sense.

Enforcing a limitation to degrade a creativity.
Is a pointless action taken.
And the actual power you have no one questions.
Is to remain stagnant in a stench that reeks.
With a demented agitation.

Knowing I Can Not Accept Less

When I approached...
I could not keep,
My sincerety from reeking.
I sought to seek your closeness.

Concerns I expressed,
With a heartfelt depthness.
Yet,
This became a sign for you...
To undo my goodwill.
And attempts to bring you joy.
I came to offer myself.
Hoping for a future,
The two of us could build together.

But you chose to see this,
From a limited perspective.
And from that mindset,
I have elected to disconnect.

If you are prepared,
To disrespect a sharing of my happiness...
What from you would come next?
Shallow comments made...
About whose life lived is best?

After taking the time to neglect my own steps,
Why should I linger in regret...
Knowing I can not accept less,
Than what is expected from you!
More abuse to confuse the issue?
I think not!

And in review of what has been done.
Giving in a way to you I pursued...
That has been thorough and thoughtlessly crude.
With a mindlessness shown to shun?
Why should I wish,
For a mending of this distance?
Needing not for me to miss.
