Pawned Valiance
I apologize to the quantum leaps
That eloped in a bereavement
Lambasting from prejudice
And deluging the tolerance
But as I cussed the rain
Frothing white noises
In a fragile night
I left a cut open
To be dabbed
Hoping to recuperate
From the mendaciloquent fall
Of these sharp shrilling crystals
As I bend backwards
The slope of yesterday
Farther than the impasse
Shrouding the bleeding fear
I know I only wished
That the ancient stones break
Into the celestial pardon
Of the incommunicable things
Drowned from all the poison
And drained from all the blood
But I just cannot vie another foot
To your verdure for I am a holocaust
Festering all that I conquered
Good night, and do not go
Gentle into this good bye
And ripple with my pawned valiance
No more undertone
I only wished for your delight
I only wished for the absolution
Spangling in your goblet
Soused in light
Never mind
What was not
Brought unto the light

A Shooting Star Flew By One Night
A shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
I wished for love to fill a heart
For love taken away in the dark
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
My wish was answered by you and you
Who would have known the love of few
Would grow to heaven’s blue
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
A knight in shining armor you might not be
A protector with strength and love you have given me
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
Your love for us you have not failed
You took our hands and rode the Shooting Star’s tail
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
Although I wished for many more
My love for you I will always adore
A Shooting Star flew by one night
I wished upon its burning light
May heaven bring us Peace
Your love for us will never cease

I Wish
I wished I had called to see if you were OK
But I was so caught up in my life
To even worry about your.
I wished I had been there for you
But I was to busy drinking
To even worry about you.
I wished I had cared more
But all I wanted was to escape
Even from you
I wished I had taken you seriously
But you tend to lie a lot
And I couldn't take you seriously
I wished I had told you I felt the same way
But I didn't want anyone to know I was in pain
Not even you
I wished you didn't feel like it was something you had to do
I wished you would of never pulled that trigger that night
I wished you could come back
I wished I told you that I loved you
But all theses excuses I make and wishes
Won't change the fact that your gone.
Wishing on a shooting star
I wished upon a shooting star
As it went through the sky,
I wished upon a shooting star
As it shot right by.
I wished upon a shooting star
That my prayers would all come true,
I wished upon a shooting star
And then I thought of you.
I wished upon a shooting star
And noticed I was crying,
I wished upon a shooting star
And realized I was dying.
I wished upon a shooting star
But my wish never came true,
I wished upon a shooting star
And hoped it would get me through.
I wished upon a shooting star
That the she would still be there,
I wished upon a shooting star
That she would always care.
I wished upon a shooting star
Here in this night sky,
I wished upon a shooting star
That our love will never die.

I wished upon a star one day
I wished upon a star one day
As it went shooting through the sky,
I wished upon a star one day
As it passed me by.
I wished upon a star one day
That my prays come true,
I wished upon a star one day
And then i thought of you.
I wished upon a star one day
And realised i was crying,
I wished upon a star one day
Then dreamed that i was dying.
I wished upon a star one day
But my wish never became real,
I wished upon a star one day
And realised what i feel....

I Held A Star
I held a star last night
in the palm of my hand.
I wished to the heavens
for peace in every land.
I wished for no wars
in the year to come.
I wished for no killing
to be done by anyone.
I wished for love
between all colours and creeds
and that everyone would treat
everyone as a brother, a sister and a friend.
As to whether my wishes
will come true
that is up to everyone
including me and you.

Three Wolves
Three, lonely wolves once lived together,
each one wished for a separate thing.
The first wolf wished for companionship,
so the moon was created for him to howl at every night.
The second wolf wished to be able to see the paths that lay ahead of him,
so the sun was created and he now walked on without fear.
The third wolf wished to be able to see his past,
so the stars were created and he was told that each one was the spirit of an ancestor.

Talked Me Into It
I'll stand and hold onto
everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
You have the key to my mind
I melt in front of you
You turn me on without trying
You talked me into it
And I let you, at that time
I could have believed
anything you said
You ignored me before that night
but I was desperate for your attention
If I was psychic,
woulda wished for anything but you
You talked me into it
Into everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
Wondered if you knew I existed
I was enchanted with you
Never felt more forgotten
I'm stubborn, but you laughed
Said, I'll never leave you in the rain
I took your word, let you
Talk me into it
You're the only one that has
enough of me to love
and wish
You talked me into it
Banished me to the back of your mind
after all these years
Never felt more forgotten
I'm stubborn, but
I remember that night
When you talked me into it
But I stood and held onto
everything I wished for
I'm stubborn, but you talked me into it
Turning Off The Lights
you say, you love light, its brightness
that reveals what had long been denied to you
by darkness,
you take it, and raise it and put it at the higher place
for that should be how it must be
everything is now obvious and you begin to see
the truth, and you say, at first, that this is beautiful,
and good, and you preach about light, its brightness,
you want all those that love you to have them too
time changes, seasons come and go, tastes not just sweetness
but bitterness, this is also truth, but this is not good,
this is ugly, and all the scenes pass before your eyes,
your parents, and brothers, they are carried by this rage
of the river of time, there was thunder and lightning at the background,
there is too much lighting, and you begin to dislike
what light has given you, brightness has become too harsh
for such a short life,
there is panic and fear now, you want to run but all the doors are closed,
and the windows refuse to open,
the clouds make the rain, and rain does not stop,
the sun still shines, no promises are broken, all for your love of light,
its brightness, now getting too sharp and too jagged, they hurt
you sit alone, you let the rain flood over you, you dislike water
there is too much of it, just like light, flooding over your senses,
they are no longer good, they are so ugly,
but what can you do? you wished for it and now it is given for free.
forgetting has taken your beloved away. Such a cruel goddess.
Now you are alone. You remember the night of sound sleep.
You remember when you said, once when we were small,
You want all the lights turned off, light hurts, and you cannot sleep.
and so, i turned off all the lights now. I shall not tell you anything.
You need sleep and dreams shall be there to comfort you.

The Gentleman's Tear
At the candle light
And the dark around
He is sitting there alone
There is another light
Glowing bright from his heart
So pure and bright
Just I wished if I knew
Why he was sitting there alone.
Oh, how a cute gentleman!
At the magic nihgt
Under the candle light
What he was thinking about
That good hearted gentleman!
What a Deep! Deep! thoughts
Just If It could be seen
At the dark of the night!
What was thinking about
While he was touching the candle light
O, my God what was going on
How can be this true
At the darkness night
Under the candle light
Two drops of tears slipped from those charming eyes
I saw his face
The tears were rolling down
What could be the reason to make those eyes cry?
At the darkness nihgt
Under the candle light
Just I wanted if my wish would become true
Just I wished if I could be his light.
And wipe away the gloom

Remember that time you made the wish?
I make a lot of wishes.
The time I lied to you
about the butterfly. I always wondered
what you wished for.
What do you think I wished for?
I don't know. That I'd come back,
that we'd somehow be together in the end.
I wished for what I always wish for.
I wished for another poem.

I wish i wish i wish
I wish I wish I wish
No I take that back.
I don’t wish I cannot wish
My wishes come true
I wished for love
My lover wished for someone else
I wished for forever
didn’t expect to be alone
I wished for three,
got two, lost two, its still me
I wished for happiness
My happiness found its own happiness
I wished to be alone,
here I am
I wish I wish I wish
No I take that back I don’t wish
My wishes come true.

Take Me Through The Night
Hope the circle won't be broken,
By the way things have to be.
Cause I don't really think you know
What you do to me.
Well it's kinda like a movie,
That you've seen so many times.
Can't get you outta my mind.
Take me through the night,
The lonely, lonely night.
It's a thing I only live for,
Another chance to make it right.
Take me through the night,
Take me through the lonely, lonely night.
A dream I've always wished for,
Hope it's alright. (Hope it's alright.)
Knowing how your feelings were,
I had to say goodbye.
We had a magic,
That you can't describe.
A dreamer's world we lived in,
Of memories I can't forget.
Let me dream of you tonight.
Take me through the night,
The lonely, lonely night.
It's a thing I only live for,
Another chance to make it right.
Take me through the night,
Take me through the lonely, lonely night.
A dream I've always wished for,
Hope it's alright.
Take me through the night,
The lonely, lonely night.
A dream I've always wished for. . .
Take me through the night.
Hope it's alright.
Gotta take me through the lonely night.

Top Of The World
I wished I was smarter
I wished I was stronger
I wished I loved Jesus
The way my wife does
I wish it had been easier
Instead of any longer
I wished I could have stood where you would have been proud
But that won't happen now
That won't happen now
There's a whole lot of singing that's never gonna be heard
Disappearing everyday without so much as a word somehow
Think I broke the wings off that little song bird
She's never gonna fly to the top of the world right now
Top of the world
I don't have to answer any of these questions
Don't have no God to teach me no lessons
I come home in the eveing
Sit in my chair
One night they called me for supper
But I never got up
I stayed right there in my chair
There's a whole lot of singing that's never gonna be heard
Disappearing everyday without so much as a word somehow
Think I broke the wings off that little song bird
She's never gonna fly to the top of the world right now
Top of the world
I wished I'd a known you
Wished I'd a shown you
All of the things I was on the inside
I'd pretend to be sleeping
When you come in in the morning
To whisper good-bye
Go to work in the rain
I don't know why
Don't know why
'Cause everone's singing
We just wanna be heard
Disappearing everyday without so much as a word somehow
Wanna grab a hold of that little song bird
Take her for a ride to the top of the world right now
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world
To the top of the world

Bobby Jean
Well I came by your house the other day, your mother said you went away
She said there was nothing that I could have done
There was nothing nobody could say
Me and you weve known each other ever since we were sixteen
I wished I would have known I wished I could have called you
Just to say goodbye bobby jean
Now you hung with me when all the others turned away turned up their noise
We liked the same music we liked the same bands we liked the same clothes
We told each other that we were the wildest, the wildest things wed ever
Seen
Now I wished you would have told me I wished I could have talked to you
Just to say goodbye bobby jean
Now we went walking in the rain talking about the pain from the world we hid
Now there aint nobody nowhere nohow gonna ever understand me the way you did
Maybe youll be out there on that road somewhere
In some bus or train traveling along
In some motel room therell be a radio playing
And youll hear me sing this song
Well if you do youll know Im thinking of you and all the miles in between
And Im just calling one last time not to change your mind
But just to say I miss you baby, good luck goodbye, bobby jean

Pondering Upon A Nebula
Lost in the mirror of the sea
and its engulfing eddies
you rolled like a bucket of pearls
chasing a galloping stallion
bleak and white in the night
frothing for a remedial absolution
A stellar soused in yellow flame
skins and bones intertwined with
the frailty of the gods above
you whispered the undecipherable
at the cicatrix of the heart
Like a child in a labyrinth
you flounder in the back of the wind
winding through the streetlamps
rising in the fall of the sun
and all these stagnant trees
passing messages in secrecy
left us rooted in their irony
Your etude left me
with a hunger for your light
Have I failed you
with my sporadic meandering?
In this night where the hellhounds
slavers to a close direst
I reached for your waning coruscation
behind the distant clouds
like a pearl slowly sinking
in the bottomless ocean

When You Wish
When you wish,
Be careful what you wish for.
When you wish.
Try hard not to be foolish.
When you wish,
No matter what it is.
You might get it.
And wish you hadn't wished.
So when you wish,
Be careful what you wish for.
When you wish.
Try hard not to be foolish.
When you wish,
No matter what it is.
You might get it.
And wish you hadn't wished.
Don't be the one to open doors you want left closed.
Because you wanted to be free of misery,
You wished would leave from you quickly.
Don't be the one who thinks by letting go to show.
A relationship of arguments,
Will not be ever missed.
'Cause when you wish that one to go,
That one you let go might be missed.
So when you wish,
Be careful what you wish for.
When you wish.
Try hard not to be foolish.
When you wish,
No matter what it is...
You might get it.
And wish you hadn't wished.
When you wish,
Be careful what you wish for.
When you wish.
Try hard not to be foolish.
When you wish,
No matter what it is.
You might get it.
And wish you hadn't wished.

White Walls
painting the wall white is what is done this morning.
removing the stains and the marks of wrongs
some spits and phlegm sticking
and we wonder if this shall please him
he who had died a long, long time ago
who wished all the walls are white and neat
and clean.
who wished that it will be like his body
or his soul, but then there was not enough time.
he never wished to die
that early and so dirty.

song - The Cafe on the Corner
The jukebox in the corner played
To shadows sitting sipping tea
The light was low and you were there
Your collar open to the sea
We leaned across but never touched
Through some remembered wish or mist
some northerly that left us hushed
and wet where yesterday had kissed
We didn't ever have to try
when I was you and you were me
both amber lit beneath the sky
In salty spray thrown off the sea
Or slipping silently away
and maybe that's what scared us most
we'd meet somewhere as if ordained
without a plan along the coast
and all alone we'd whisper thoughts
that told us less than all we knew
for nonetheless we knew the odds
were stacked against love coming through
The ferries went, the ferries came
their frames of light in tiers that bled
Together on the broken waves
That washed where yesterday had led
Where yesterday had wished no more
Than all we couldn't hold to then
We leaned across to walk the shore
And traced us backwards with your pen
Through darkened halls and April rain
So close we seemed to be inside
Until we'd never touch again
Across the table by the tide
