Have you awakened too late to realize...
How can these misfortunes thrive.
And be there to smothered guilt felt inside,
Not to show remorse?
Or something that may reflect upon it!
What can be said about doing one's best...
When lies and lack of pride,
Seems to infest
With an encouragement of inappropriateness!
That feeds a mental unrest that is projected.
And protected from self examinations confessed,
By those declared dangerous...
To a way of life loved by the rest!

About to nap!

If Pride Was Felt Inside To Feel

If pride was felt inside to feel it...
It would be shown.
And to all would be known.

If pride was felt with intent and integrity,
Few would be envious.
And who would then express jealousy.

But pride and identity,
Is as distant as an orphan...
Seeking purpose and a home,
Alone.
To roam.
Feeling disconnected.
Leaving one who travels...
Wishing this corrected.

If pride was felt inside to feel it...
It would be shown.

Wishing to connect...

Two Walls

Before you stands to great big walls.
One is shame and one is guilt.
And these two walls that you hide behind.
These are the two walls that you've built.

I know of this, these last few days.
The time I did reflect.
Another wall it was called my pride.
And it's what I would protect.

Fight tooth and nail, lay my life down.
For whose life just did I fight?
For the people I hurt by my misdeeds?
Of course not, I was right.

'They deserved it all' I truly thought.
As I masked my inner pain.
'I did was was right' my pride replied.
And then the payback came.

It didn't feel so comfortable.
When I got back what I dished.
If pain is what you serve your friends.
Then it's for pain that you wish.

Do onto others as you do yourself.
It's what our savior taught.
You handed them what they deserved.
And deserved just what you got.

The painful truth I call it now.
When you live a life of lies.
So love your brothers and sisters here.
See through your Father's eyes.

Then never again do you have to live.
The life that you once lead.
The Father says He'll find the lost.
And raise them from the dead.

Obstructure

The pet he found at the bar
the status of a new car with it
big money made a new job
To make him feel a less slob of it
new standards changed the ego
the villain now a hero
looks at life, and takes a bite
a piece of paper makes him proud
the silence of success has gotta seem so loud
his future in a uniform
he's just another number in the eye of the storm
obstructure to late
Is a piece he cannot pay - the cost of pride
and still he hides dies inside - alone he sheds a tear
for the memories of before from it
a tribute to the good of the lord
the bible is the way to forget
New standards changed the ego
the villain now a hero
looks at life, it's flee or fight
Its nervous laughter business now
it used to be a trip to circle - seven without
The plan for number one to rise

My pride would u let me cry
as these torrors and pain hunted me,
as my heart in love is denaide
and as those I seek comfart to grow cold

my own pride would u let me cry
as I'm lost and can't find my way
as my brothers and sisters in the blink of an eye
are out to be throughed in graves
and as ignorence and hate want to be a part of my life.

would I be wrong if I cry?

as my shoulders are too small for

Condone my stupidity

Adjusting myself to suit your needs
reaping the wrong of your deeds
not saying out loud what i felt
not so sure if i could've dealt
with all the hate i had inside
for you, your body and your pride

Without you i felt bent, torn apart
knowing it was wrong from the start
staring at you i knew too well
that you were hurting me but refused to tell
anyone who asked why

I Saw 'Me' In Their Eyes

When at first I was introduced to it...
I must admit,
I felt bare and naked.

I thought all I had to do was deny its entry.
And I would feel protected.
With a choice to reject,
Its presence and affects.

But truth was not what I expected at all.
It was overwhelming.
Something I thought I could ignore.

Even lies I had stored inside me...
Had no defense against its intentions.
I was selected to contend with it.
When my emotions were crushed.
With wishes I did not exist.

And when I realize,
How meaningless and useless were all lies...
I began to see those falsities in others.
And I could no longer empathize,
With those who were living...
Empty and shallow lives.

I saw 'me' in their eyes!
A 'me' I once thought no one could see!
A 'me' I once hid inside and denied.
And knowing this hasn't freed me as much...
Since now I feel compelled to touch,
The truth inside others.
To show I can identified...
Why they must untie themselves,

No remorse story poem

No remorse

Beneath the waves my lover lies.
They search for her without success.
I see suspicion in their eyes
They do not know but some still guess

I loved her well and faithfully.
I thought she was the perfect wife.
Behind my back she betrayed me.
I had the right to take her life.

Or would have had long years ago
The price of infidelity
was to be slain and justly so.
Though today’s laws do not agree.

I could not kill her openly.
Though she had earned the punishment.
I had to plan it carefully
and see no reason to repent.

My conscience does not bother me.
I still sleep peacefully at nights.
She feeds the fish beneath the sea.
I wish them hearty appetites.

I have no doubt that in due course
the tides will wash her bones ashore.
I do believe I had just cause.
She won’t betray me any more

D.N.A may identify
to whom the naked bones belong
but never how she came to die
Nor will they prove that it was wrong.

It could have been an accident.
Or a guilt induced suicide.
The only thing that I resent
That I had no choice but to hide

The punishment she well deserved.
Instead of acting openly
I think that justice has been served.
Though no one knows the truth but me.

My lover lies beneath the waves
I visit her quite frequently
as other people visit graves
I walk the shore beside the sea.

we try to be macho men who very rarely speak
but deep inside we are weak.

weak to the feelings that we have locked up inside.
feelings that we try to hide.

we have to be macho men to the female race
moving slow with a steady pace.
our egotistical pride is how we survive.

we always dream of being that
knight in shining armour
rescuing the maiden and her honor.
but that could never be, for the knights died in history.

Not Playing Fair at All

If the terrorists are so envious
Of our way of life,
And want to destroy it...
Why are they practicing on themselves?

Will they stop long enough
To realize tremendous amount of money
Has been invested to convince the world
That they are our enemies?
Who declared them that in the first place?
This strategy has not gone well.
Points of view are becoming destorted,
Because of this.

'HEY! !
We're paying for you to hate US!
Not yourselves!
Now we have to keep paying
To stop you from fighting yourselves...
So we can show there is a reason to denounce you!
Don't 'you' get it?
We were told you did.
At least through videotapes,
Delivered to us from another country!

This is getting too expensive
Keeping everyone convinced YOU are the enemy,
Has created protests and unrest on our shores!
These deceptions are getting too exhausting.
