After Three Generations
No man can be relevant
After three generations.
A few might be relevant
After two generations.
Most of men are forgotten
Within their generations.
If at all a name exists
After three generations
It is as good as irrelevant
As his progeny would branch
Out beyond the traceability.

A Family Is Like A Tree
A tree is like a family it starts
out very small but it soon begins
to grow and the family too also
grows.
The tree starts out with small branches.
A family ita a child.
as the years go by they have all
grown together.
Soon the tree has been generated with
new branches and too the family expands
not with branches, but generations.
.Their both so much a like in so many
ways., if nurtured and taken care of
they both will grow straight. and tall.
And generate many new branch
and many more generations too
come as the tree grows old
some branches will die and fall off.
When the generations of a family
get old they too will die off.
But both will leave something of
themselves behind.
.
To live on for many generations of
life and many generations of branches..

We Don't Know/ We Truly Don't Know
We don't know
We truly don't know
What will be in the long distance
The one hundred ten thousand generations
If it is generations-
Human or not
Mind or not
Only God is our hope
Only God.

There is a mysterious cycle in human events. To some generations much is given. Of other generations much is expected. This generation of Americans has a rendezvous with destiny.

It's amazing how fast generations lose sight of other generations. One of the first things the young composers who come to work with me say is that they want to write music people will like, instead of gaining their credentials by being rejected by the audience.

This Pesach Too
This Pesach too
They threaten to destroy us-
One generation after the Shoah
Another threat has come against us -
For more than one hundred generations
We have survived-
Israel is here now and stronger than ever-
May God help us in the coming generations
Bring greater Freedom to a better world.

Lightning
(chorus)
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
They say lightning, they say lightning
Lightning never strikes twice in a row
Generations, generations
First they fight and then they forget
What they were fighting about in the first place
Here it comes, the big explosion
Havent I seen that once before
Or is it just some deja vu
Just some long forgotten dream
Just some silly memory
History does not repeat, it never, never does
(repeat chorus)
(bridge)
I should know
Ive been hit three times (or was it four? )
Im a walking testimony
Come here, look at these holes
Im a walking testimony
Just look at these holes, look at these holes!
Generations, generations
Fathers never teach their sons
And grandpa never talked to them and so on
Memories are inconvenient
When theres lessons to be learned
That just might rock the boat too much
Cause anxiety and such
We cannot walk without our crutches
We cannot walk, we cannot walk, we never, never could
(repeat chorus and bridge)
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
Hey, whats all the fuss about?
They say lightning, they say lightning
Lightning never strikes twice in a row

Not a morbid state
Let your progeny go unbroken;
Who knows of your connection
After two generations pass
Heirless is not a morbid state.

Star Venus
The night is clear,
The sky is dotted with twinkling stars,
Amidst the star community Venus stands,
With bright twinkling sisters,
In their night dresses pure like pearls,
Venus shepherds sailors
To desired destinations.
Have passed are generations
Will come are generations,
Had seen and will witness
Her majesty star Venus.

hundreds of tsunami warning stone markers

witness awareness realities lost in three generations

experience more distant to their grandchildren passes
three generations fades forgotten from living memories

Marital Status: Single.
The generations of celluloid kids,
And Black and white hippy brats,
Produced multi color monitor tots,
Who in turn give birth to laptop lads,
We are the modern people,
Learn the life through the cable,
Earn and live is our motto, simple,
Tomorrow really exists in our bible,
Thirty percent of us still single,
Looking for a spouse who can twinkle,
To make our body and mind to be thrilled,
The way we get excited in window sill,
None excites us as we excite none,
available have no suitable person,
We are the happy singles, playing,
Games in online jungle, worrying,
Of the wrinkles once in a while,
Otherwise, contented with our smile,
Sometimes fake, sometimes real,
Generations of singles are, on the prowl.

Seeds of Love
What seeds have I planted?
Sorrows have I watered?
What horrible things did I
Call to my mind and to my life
To the life of those around me
Because I did not understand
The destructive power of
Lack of self love.
It took many life events
Many generations
To create what we
Experience today.
And what if all the
Bad seeds
Negative thoughts
Sad feelings
Got washed away with love.
What if we all carried
The crosses of past generations
With our love and God's love.
How much better the future would be.
When we love ourselves
and all those around us.

Count
I've lost
Count
Of the
Number
Of poems
I've written
I've also
Lost count
Of your
Views and
Reviews…
If I bother
About the
Numbers,
Then I can't
Focus on my
Writing.
I would rather
Entrust you -
With the counting,
Or it could be done
By your future
Generations…
If you or they
Feel that my
Poems have
Something to give
To people of all
Generations…
As of now,
I'm happy writing
And wish you all
Happy counting :)

Let's demonstrate we are civilized in the real sense
The tilling of land
The finding of the use of fire
The discovery of wheel
The advent of metal usage
Marked the way for
Civilization
And we have been
Civilizing ourselves
Since then
Our ways of living improved
Generations after generations
Our comfort level kept increasing
We are at such a peak
That a peak further ahead
Looks impossible
But we are yet to be
Civilized in the real sense
As we have no regard
For the resources we use up
And consume so much
That many of us run short
And we have no clue as to
Whether our future generations
Will have at least a taste of
What all we have consumed
And we say we are developing
Each second
We are termed more and more developed
The more we devour the resources
Minding not whether something left
For others, leave alone for generations ahead
God said
Be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth
He, probably, meant
Stay in comfort
Generate fruits, grains, vegetables and other edibles
Eat well
Ensure the continuity of the human race
By multiplying in number
And make sure
To replenish the earth
For its continued and uninterrupted support
We are fruitful
We grow grains
Develop farms
We are multiplying ourselves
Some of us in dangerous proportions
But
Are we replenishing the earth
No way
We are not sending back anything to the earth
With which she can support living blocks
What we send back to the earth
All rubbish
And some of them
Even remain a challenge
For the earth to digest and assimilate
Some of them are threatening
Life support systems
Which, the earth developed
Over millions of years
Let us examine the way we live
Let us check the wastes we generate
Let us demonstrate
We are civilized in the real sense
With a farsightedness that will
Help future generations
Enjoy living the same way we do.
If not better

A Pardon to Heaven
I know my time soon cometh,
my candle's burning low.
I could not undone the wrongs I did
yet I could do the things I must
before my time will come
which soon cometh.
May heavens forgive me...
for choosing this path;
for if I cease to live
I'll save generations.
I see generations before me,
I choose them over me.
I'll cease to live
that they may live eternally.
For better that I perish
than they to come.
Better that I fall,
than children mourn.
Better that I die than live
and break tender hearts
of angels... sweet angels;
I could not... I would not...
I must not live to see their tears.

Why Are We So Greedy
To the Earth Mother who feeds us disrespect we do pay
That future generations may have to pay for one day
Of stealing from Nature's resources billions some do make
Why are we so greedy that we take and we take?
In disrespect for Nature through innocence lost
The success of us humans could come at a cost
The ways of Mother Nature we do not understand
We pollute the air, seas, waterways and land
'Tis Nature resources made the oil dealer a billionaire
Yet of Nature's beauty such types not aware
We do not own Nature though to her we belong
And to her many of us have done wrong
And for our crimes against her future generations may yet pay
That seems a sad thing for to have to say.

0276 Savagery
When did you first meet savagery?
Not merely, the wounded heart,
the Christmas present that they never bought
although they knew you wanted that
and nothing, nothing else..
not merely when you knew
that for the first time, they’d lied to you..
not merely when the world first let you down,
but that savagery that tears at the heart,
when you realise for the first time
that to others – or at best, some others –
you’re just nothing, nothing…
I guess the question is too painful for some; those
born into it; who wake to it within the house;
go to bed with it; are woken by it in the middle of the night;
some meet it at first school,
are schooled in it;
the first thing stolen from you
by those you thought your friends;
suddenly the world’s not flat, and just
keep away from the edge and you’ll be safe, but
spherical, with a horizon all around
beyond which the dragon’s smoky breath
lurks, waiting to devour.
Only three generations or so since
our forefathers met savagery, were savage, fought for land,
musket in one hand, spade in the other;
only four generations since
their fathers were forced off some other land they thought their own;
only two generations since the working class
lived their whole life with savage poverty not far away;
when savagery’s in short supply, there’s always war;
but that’s forewarned; there are no counsellors of battle
for then it’s just too late. We’re all to meet it; learn from it; but who
will dare to put it on the home, the school, agenda?
‘There are those to whom you’re not even
a victim or an enemy; you’re just – nothing..’
Pope called it
the inhumanity of man to man.
