Dripping Sentiment and Scent Wrenched Daisies Sent
Dripping sentiment,
And scent wrenched daisies sent.
A bouquet just to say,
My feelings haven't changed.
And hoping when they arrive...
They are not turrned away!
Admitting guilt is difficult.
When truth is obvious,
And should not be questioned.
But certain situations,
Call for more than just an apology.
And begging on one knee...
Is accompanied,
By a pint of blood...
One bleeds!
IF one is thought to be unfaithful,
BUT not!
Dripping sentiment,
And scent wrenched daisies sent.
A bouquet just to say,
My feelings haven't changed.
And hoping when they arrive...
They are not turrned away!
These days...
The more creative,
The better the outcome!
Especially when something done...
Is discovered to be thoughtlessly dumb!
And ignoring what has taken place...
Is not recommended,
IF one wishes to recognize the face...
Of one who has been angered!
And I have seen the fangs produce foam before.
That is why I've sent the daisies at the door.
Hoping she will not snap off my head...
Because of something foolish I said!
This morning when I left our bed...
Without a kiss goodbye,
But slip and said...
Her looks made me cry!
BUT 'that' was not what I meant!
And I rushed to leave...
To abort an argument!
I HOPE she receives the daisies I sent...
Before I arrive at home!
Please Father...
'Anything'
Besides the fangs,
And foam!

Daisies All Over My Body
let daisies rain on
me and let all the daisies
cover my face my body
let daisies crown my head
my hair, my nose, let there
be daisies everywhere

Field Of Yellow Daisies
We met in a field of yellow daisies
Wild and young and free
And she picked a bouquet for me
She loved me...she loved me not
The daisies didn't lie
They knew better than I...she'd go away..yeah
But they didn't say why
Have you ever been in a field of yellow daisies
Where the air is warm, pure and sweet
Just as if the world is at your feet
She loved me...she loved me not
The daisies didn't lie
They knew better than I
She'd go away.....yeah
But they didn't say why
I may fail like petals from a daisy
But for her love I'll always yearn
Each year when yellow daisies return
She loved me...she loved me not
The daisies didn't lie
They knew better than I
She'd go away.....yeahhhh
But they didn't say why
They didn't say why
They didn't say why
They didn't say why
They didn't say why
They didn't say why
They didn't say why.........

The Garden
She has a bed of daisies
she waters every day.
She knows when they start blooming
she’ll be far away
The water can she keeps filling,
the daisies are never dry
and their memory of her she is growing
til the day of her goodbye
Setting down the watering can.
It’s come now- way too soon.
Four days left to enjoy
this beauty she has brewed.
No twist of fate can end this need
to leave the place of love,
with all this tender care she’s given,
can she receive no compassion from above?
This morning came a joyous triumph
-the first bud is half bloomed.
Not as much can be said for the siblings
who grow taller –oh what a view.
They love her so and they don’t know
that in a few days she will leave.
BUT understand, when she comes back again,
none of their beauty can she retrieve.
And that is what makes her
so sad and alone
for these flowers she has dutifully cared,
And she won’t be home
when they become full-grown
of their condition on her return she is scared.

Two Distant Worlds
who does not like to put some
yellow daisies on your black glossy hair?
you become so beautiful with a chain of yellow
daisies in your hair
where i can possibly touch them and caress them
and how would you know that this is more than just putting a chain of
daisies in your black hair?
you shall never know and that is good enough for me
for i am the simplest man that puts those chain of yellow daisies in your hair
no prince charming for you, nothing special
just another common friend putting those usual yellow daisies in your hair
when our hands touch by accident
how would you know that i have become a forest burning?
this burning fire that is softly killing me
how would you know? your world is open and mine is closed.

A Common Day
We arrive at school
Then we say hello
We go about our day
We both leave school
Then we say goodbye
We head on home
This is our common day
Like most friends it makes us happy
You could say we have a strong bond
Two buddies just hanging out
A common day for common folk
Just two of a kind
We arrive at school
Then we say hello
We go about our day
We both leave school
You don’t say goodbye
Something is wrong
What has happened?
Our routine has changed
Why did you change it?
Did I do something wrong?
You look sad
I will talk to you tomorrow
I arrive at school
I can’t say hello
You are not there
I leave school
I can’t say goodbye….ever again
Why did you take your life?

Mother-Daughter Love
Among the daisies
sat the child,
looking so ever
meek and mild.
Mother sat down
by the child,
looked at her daughter
and sweetly smiled.
Picking the daisies
with the child,
from those gathered
a chain was stylized.
Around the neck
of the child,
she placed the chain
of daisies wild.
Touching the daisies
the deaf child,
looked at her mother
and sweetly smiled.

A Bouquet
He brought to me a sweet bouquet
that sparkled in the light.
I touched the hand that picked the flowers,
daisies all so white.
When he left I held them close,
afraid that I might cry.
If only I could keep them
and never let them die.
But tears that flow
and flowers that grow
can both be dried you know.
The thought of this brought a smile
and never brought a tear.
My first bouquet would last forever
between pages I revere.

I Was Hoping
as we were taking outside it was cold we were shivering yet warmed by the subject matter
my wife is in the next room we've been having troubles you know please don't tell her or anyone
but I need to talk to somebody
you said "wouldn't it be a shame if I knew how great I was five minutes before I died i'd be filled
with such regret before I took my last breath" and I said "you're willing to tell me this now
and you're not going to die any time soon"
and I said I haven't been eating chicken or meat or anything and you said yes
but you've been wearing leather and laughed and said we're at the top of the food chain
and yes you're a fine woman and I cringed
I was hoping I was hoping we could heal each other
I was hoping I was hoping we could be raw together
we left the restaurant where the head waiter (in his 60's) said "good-bye sir thank you for your business sir you're
successful and established sir and we like the frequency with which you dine here sir
and your money" and when I walked by they said "thank you too dear" I was all pigtails and cords
and there was a day when I would've said something like "hey dude I could buy and sell this place so kiss it"
I too once thought I was owed something
I was hoping I was hoping we could challenge each other
I was hoping I was hoping we could crack each other up
I too thought that when proved wrong I lost somehow
I too once thought life was cruel
it's a cycle really you think i'm withdrawing and guilt tripping you I think you're insensitive
and I don't feel heard and I said do you believe we are fundamentally judgmental? fundamentally evil?
and you said yes I said I don't believe in revenge in right or wrong good or bad you said
"well what about that man that I saw handcuffed in the emergency room bleeding after beating his kid
and she threw a shoe at his head.
I think what he did was wrong and I would've had a hard time feeling compassion for him"
I had to watch my tone for fear of having you feel judged.
I was hoping I was hoping we could dance together
I was hoping I was hoping we could be creamy together

Daisies Of The Galaxy
Take heart my little friend
And push back your seat
Soon well be far away
Far from the street
Where you learned how to be
Not what you are
Up on the shoulder
There is a town
With a little motel
And an old movie house
Well go to a movie
Whatever it is
Whatching the movie
The worlds gonna end
And there aint no place for
A boy and his friends to go
Ill pick some daisies
From the flower bed
Of the galaxy theater
While you clear your head
I thought some daisies
Might cheer you up..

I Haven't Changed The Room
Music & Lyrics by Barry Manilow
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the room that we shared
The room that you cared for
So I haven't changed the room
How did the years slip away
I could swear you're still there
For I haven't changed the room
Now that you're gone
What am I to do
So many fantasies
Plans that we made
That will never come true
And I haven't changed all that much
And I'm sure you'd be proud of
The way that I came through
So if you happen to be passin' by
To make sure that you recognize it
I haven't changed the room

From A 9-year Old Child To His Mama...
I was the one who
uprooted your
blooming red African daisies
that morning when
you walked to attend the
funeral of
Uncle Aldong
when you arrived that afternoon
from the silent city
all the African daisies
have already wilted

Double Red Daisies
Double red daisies, they’re my flowers,
Which nobody else may grow.
In a big quarrelsome house like ours
They try it sometimes—but no,
I root them up because they’re my flowers,
Which nobody else may grow.
Claire has a tea-rose, but she didn’t plant it;
Ben has an iris, but I don’t want it.
Daisies, double red daisies for me,
The beautifulest flowers in the garden.
Double red daisy, that’s my mark:
I paint it in all my books!
It’s carved high up on the beech-tree bark,
How neat and lovely it looks!
So don’t forget that it’s my trade mark;
Don’t copy it in your books.
Claire has a tea-rose, but she didn’t plant it;
Ben has an iris, but I don’t want it.
Daisies, double red daisies for me,
The beautifulest flowers in the garden.

Daisies
In the democracy of daisies
every blossom has one vote.
The question on the ballot is
Does he love me?
If the answer's wrong I try another,
a little sorry about the petals
piling up around my shoes.
Bees are loose in the fields
where daisies wait and hope,
dreaming of the kiss of a proboscis.
We can't possibly understand
what makes us such fools.
I blame the June heat
and everything about him.

Wild Asters
In the spring I asked the daisies
If his words were true,
And the clever, clear-eyed daisies
Always knew.
Now the fields are brown and barren,
Bitter autumn blows,
And of all the stupid asters
Not one knows.

Red African Daisies
these red African daisies
that i carry in my hand
remind me of mother
and her anger
for once i was her son
and i uprooted all the African daisies
from her garden
and let them all die under the sun
that was during the middle of Lent
when Christ they say suffered and
finally died. That was the time
when knew for once what rebellion was.

The Fury of Flowers and Worms
Let the flowers make a journey
on Monday so that I can see
ten daisies in a blue vase
with perhaps one red ant
crawling to the gold center.
A bit of the field on my table,
close to the worms
who struggle blinding,
moving deep into their slime,
moving deep into God's abdomen,
moving like oil through water,
sliding through the good brown.
The daisies grow wild
like popcorn.
They are God's promise to the field.
How happy I am, daisies, to love you.
How happy you are to be loved
and found magical, like a secret
from the sluggish field.
If all the world picked daisies
wars would end, the common cold would stop,
unemployment would end, the monetary market
would hold steady and no money would float.
Listen world.
if you'd just take the time to pick
the white flowers, the penny heart,
all would be well.
They are so unexpected.
They are as good as salt.
If someone had brought them
to van Gogh's room daily
his ear would have stayed on.
I would like to think that no one would die anymore
if we all believed in daisies
but the worms know better, don't they?
They slide into the ear of a corpse
and listen to his great sigh.

Secretly
Secretly
I'm wanting you
And I'm hoping you want me too
I smell your scent across the room
And I can't wait to get next to you
It's like I'm lost
I don't know
But this feeling that I have about you
Will you ever know
Secretly
I'm wanting you
And I'm hoping you want me too
I smell your scent across the room
And I can't wait to get next to you
Whatever I see (when I look at you across the room)
Whatever I hear (I wonder if he loves me too)
Whatever I do (I just think about you for hours)
Oh baby
And it's got me thinking of you
Secretly
I'm wanting you
And I'm hoping you want me too
I smell your scent across the room
And I can't wait to get next to you
Whenever you speak
Whenever you
Oooh
Whenever you breath
Baby
Let me touch you
Please
Secretly
I'm wanting you
And I'm hoping you want me too
I smell your scent across the room
And I can't wait to get next to you
Secretly
I'm wanting you
And I'm hoping you want me too
I smell your scent across the room
And I can't wait to get next to you
It smells so good
I just wanna ... kiss you
I wanna ... lay with you
I don't know how to tell you
But secretly
I want you
I just wanna get next to you

Clover, Daisies and Grass
Clover daisies and grass
spread out pink, white and greens
on the carpet in front of me.
A thousand heads of clover
and daisies dotted on the green
as far as the eyes can see.
No sea of turmoil there
as each has its own plot there.

As If Affirmations
There are times when they come,
We all find ourselves...
Repeating those needs.
As if afirmations,
With wishes to have them completed...
Before an admiration of patience increases,
To forget what had been wished and wanted...
Had been a priority.
Once stated and done,
Most would leave their wishes alone...
To become fulfilled on their own.
How devoted to understanding can one get?
But there are those like myself,
Who would prefer not to have aged...
To grey too much with steps slower paced,
When those needs finally arrive to be done...
Hoping they are recognized as requests once made,
And who initiated the desire.
'Are you sure you have come to the right door?
