Being a Fool Is Easier

Those words may not always be there to say,
What feelings felt in moments bring.
And finding in my mind what my heart knows best...
Sometimes from my lips are not there to confess.

I am not trained to disconnect,
From sensitivities I don't expect.
I am not trained to just neglect...
My eyes from impressions.
Or my ears from remembered lessons.

I choose to move in forward steps.
Sweeping away experiences...
I have yet to perfect.

What I do is done with a truth I pursue.
Making excuses for myself I refuse to do.
And admitting this is not difficult.
Since I will be the first to say...
Being a fool is easier.
Than to hide and have someone decide,
If I am trying to hard to say what's inside.

Habits are comforts

To listen to the tunes that
Your ears are trained on,
To look at things that
Your eyes are trained on,
And to tread the way that
Your feet are trained in
Will appear sweet to you.
Habits bring comfort zones.

With A Minimal Of Effort To Convince

Isn't it easier to accuse another,
With the finding of excuses done...
For that which we do to initiate,
Than it is to step forward...
Without the presence of a safety net.
Or running behind those we 'contaminate'...
Who are willing to defend us and protect.

Isn't it easier to accuse anyone for that matter,
With a making up of excuses done on a daily basis...
For what it is we do that we implement consciously,
As long as we know...
We can fool anyone to buy anything,
From us we bring to them to sell...
With a minimal of effort to convince we are innocent.

If You Don't From Them Leave!

When mouths are open and ears are closed...
Walk away from this.
Do not hesitate,
As if waiting for this to change.
Walk away from this.
People have been conditioned and trained,
Not to hear or further listen.
Pieces of what they miss is impatiently dismissed
Walk away from this.
When mouths are open and ears are closed...
People will choose ignorance to expose.
Since they have been conditioned to not listen.
And folks convinced like these...
Will bring you to your knees,
If you don't from them decide you should leave!
If you don't from them leave! ,
You're doomed to grieve.
Minds like these are locked without a key.
Walk away from this.
People have been conditioned and trained,
Not to hear or further listen.
Pieces of what they miss is impatiently dismissed
Walk away from this.
Before your life becomes a misery.
And choose to move and do it instantly.

Seated Within Barriers

Where was I 'trained'?
To use my brain?
To realize it had a better use...
Than to sit enclosed
And left not to expose itself,
To receive, perceive and deliver?

Limited to conditions,
I was not.
Disciplined with responsibility...
Came from my parents,
Who initiated my awakening.
And on many levels.

I felt restricted by depictions...
Of where I should be,
By those who were 'degreed'
To regurgitate philosophies,
That did not reflect...
A life in the projects.
I quite loved and accepted.

Where was I 'trained'?
To use my brain?
From teachers who attempted,
To keep me seated within barriers.
The ones selected to keep me subservient,
And self rejecting!
Somehow those lessons of limitation,
Activated my dreams!
The moment I discovered,
I desired to rush to be with those I loved...
While others were rushing to impress,
With the best of their redundancy!
I was being instructed to open my eyes.
Listen with my ears.
And observe the steps...
Of those who feared to adventure their own destinies.

I was 'trained' to watch them.
Learn to enjoy the taste of bitterness.
Forgive but not condone ignorance...
Whether mine or some outside affliction,
Meant to keep my life deluded!

Where was I 'trained'?
To use my brain?
Learning how to fly high from my nest.
Before any sign of wings came to sprout.
I was taught to figure it out.
My mind began an inside flight.
My insights did not need wings to fly.
And as long as no one provided boundaries,
They could not show and I refused to see...
The training of my brain,
Became my property!
Since I was too stubborn to confess,
A conformity I can reflect.
But the testing of it suits me best.
I am not restricted to shallow acceptances.
An observation that is obvious...
Does not confine me to take note!
Or attract what I need to feed me,
To sustain the light that is on 'my' path!

Limited to conditions,
I was not.
Disciplined with responsibility...
Came from my parents,
Who initiated my awakening.
And on many levels.
They had 'ways' to capture my attention.
And I developed a way to obey.
I wanted my journey to soar.
Knowing that obstacles faced...
Delayed but did not erase to replace,
My own separate wishes...
To become free and dismissed from fear!

Cry For The Lost

Something I forgot that I used to know
Keeps on coming back around.
Somewhere in the dark right before the dawn
Like a light from down the hall.
Suddenly some old familiar music
Songs I know Ive never heard before.
I gotta play along I cant refuse it
I hear the call.
Weve all been so proud of our blindness
No kindness to share
I used to cry for the lost
Until I had to turn away.
Then I looked inside, past the fool,
And found some deeper words to say
To bring us together.
We can make it better
We can make it right.
We hide behind the veil of our own success,
While were following the rules.
Our eyes refuse to see past our little hands
To the never changing truth.
Freedom needs to speak a little louder,
Justice needs to try her other arm.
Some of us could push a little harder
To sound the alarm.
And I see children marching
And I hear the drums again
I used to cry for the lost
Until I had to turn away.
Then I looked inside, past the fool,
And found some deeper words to say.
If we hope and pray,
It will come, give it half a chance.
Everyone, understand
In our hearts and our mind,
You know theres nothing left to hide,
Were already there.
I used to cry.
Cry for the lost I was walking away.
I used to try to find a reason.
Then I looked inside,
I used to mind everytime I was walking away,
I gotta find what Im feeling
To bring us together.
Repeat chorus

I Refuse

Everythings heaven sent
Thats what you said and went
Inside your fairy glass
Somethin you think will last
And when they crop you like a clown
You got your smile on upside down
B-baby I refuse
(I do refuse)
Uh, you can pick or choose
(I do refuse)
Find omebody else to use
(I do refuse)
cause I refuse to come along
And everythings on a whim
Thats what you said to him
Lyin in wunderlust
Are feelings you never trust
And when they pamper you with ice
I cant believe you dont think twice
Uh baby I refuse
(I do refuse)
Uh, you can pick or choose
(I do refuse)
Find somebody else to use
(I do refuse)
cause I refuse to come along
And everyone makes the play
With nothing left much to say
Theyre all in an endless line
Waiting for equal time
They keep screaming its the truth
And you keep kneelin in the booth
Oh baby I refuse
(I do refuse)
Uh, you can pick or choose
(I do refuse)
Find somebody else to use
(I do refuse)
cause I refuse to come along
Oh, I do refuse
(I do refuse)
Oh, you got nothin to lose
(I do refuse)
Find somebody else to use
(find somebody else to use)
(I do refuse)
cause I refuse to come along
I refuse
(I do refuse)
Ah, oo-oo
(I do refuse)
(find somebody else to use)
(I do refuse)
cause I refuse to come along
I refuse
(I do refuse)
Oo, oh got nothin to lose
(I do refuse)
(find somebody else to use)
(I do refuse)
[fade]

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXII: the Alpha

We are too skilled in letting the words unsaid
We are too experienced in making the dots parade
We are too talented to show an empty smile
We are too powerful in manipulating mind
We are too perfect for losing something important
We are too cautious and leave holes in memories
We are too creative in finding way to escape
We are too tough to be looked vulnerable
We are too good in playing act
We are too trained in ignoring loneliness

Difficulties with women

It’s difficult to dress a woman

According to her wish,

It’s easier to undress a woman

Against her wish.

It’s difficult to argue with a woman

Because she is always right,

It’s easier to agree with her

Without any fight.

It’s difficult to find the words

A woman would like to hear,

It’s easier to keep silent

If you want to be her dear.

It’s difficult to guess her mood

So that to be understood,

It’s easier to tell her a funny story

And once more to say: sorry.

It’s difficult to explain

How much you miss her

It’s easier to give her a kiss

For her to remember you and miss.

It’s difficult to remember

All woman’s wishes and dates,

It’s easier to make a fete

She could enjoy every day.

It’s difficult to stand

When a woman cries,

It’s easier to listen

When she tells you lies.

It’s difficult to pretend

When you don’t love a woman

It’s easier to play a fool.

To play games without any rule.

There are many difficulties

You can find with women

But I would say without a doubt:

There is always the way out.

Anyone can add much more

To the words I’ve said above

If you have life experience

And know the science of love.

Harmony

looking out the window and all i could see
is how our love sings in perfect harmony.
you came into my life when everything seemed bleak
i thought my heart was strong-but i found it's very weak.
for it could not hide the feelings that grew inside.
so now i must confess-that they do sing in harmony.
from this day forward my heart will be set free.

When It Benefits To Pay Attention

I can quickly forgive and understand a child,
Who takes an escapade with a making a mistake...
At my expense.
I expect this from a child adventuring,
Out into the world to establish for themselves...
A building of their own common sense.
This I accept and expect.
With a patience in the beginning given.
And hoping in their minds something eventually connects.

However...
With the giving of circumstances and considering one's age,
There are stages of life when it benefits to pay attention.
And if one continues to disrespect others to neglect,
Difficult it becomes for me to repeatedly forgive and forget.
Especially when a doing is done,
Over and over and over by someone...
Who cruises through life making the same mistakes,
With new excuses easy to use refusing to face truth.

Knowing What It Has Taken

Knowing what it has taken,
To make those forward steps made...
Gives me the satisfaction,
Of not having my movements distracted...
By every ache and pain I felt.
To discourage with a listening,
Of those who said...
What it was I should and could not do.
And...
Knowing what it has taken,
To ignore limitations and choose to move...
With my eyes open,
And overlooking all mental and physical...
Obstacles.
Has proven to me,
It is with a doing done with excuses to overcome.

If I Were To Say I Love You

If I were to say “I love you”
How might you respond?
Would you be indifferent or kind?
Tell the truth…I won’t mind
My ears have heard every answer;
See-thru excuses of duck n’ dodge
Such skillful words that sabotage

Come sit with me, let us reason
For every flower has its season
Bravely delve your truest feelings
Remove dusty layers ripe for peeling

I fully trust that we shall find;
How hurt can cleave hearts in two
How jealousy can make us blind

After there’s no negativity to pursue
When everything we’ve felt is said
There shall be a way for love renew

Wide World of Intellectual Iliteracy-WWII

Slavery Institutionalized Slavery

You didn’t take me away from aplace
You extricated me from a sacred space Me

You developed and trained mu mind
To blend in with your kind
To put you in the fore front
And leave myself behind

My mind was open to assimilation
And closed to self-realization
Education was the agent of control
Substituting society for my soul
An act of self-suicide for the good of the whole

Was it not the great minds of our times that sanctioned
Self hatred
Made the truth oblique
Made education a conditioning process
To obliterate being unique

Seek a role model, seek a hero
Don’t seek being yourself, you are a zero
If education is the answer
It has a function similar to cancer

Americanization another appellation for education

Mind control, behavioral modification
Violence is a form of militaristic communication
I’m a clone, a mere cheap imitation

If I kill it’s because I’m trained
If I hate it’s because I’m trained
If I steal it’s because I’m trained

I don’t know who I am but because I am trained
I Am A Professional

I Do It For Your Love

Im not sentimental, no one calls me tender
I keep my emotions safe inside
But Ive never felt these feelings
And time just keeps revealing.
A part of me I can no longer hide
The moment that I kissed your lips
I found a whole new world exists
Look what youve done with my life.
If I write your name a thousand times
Inside a heart next to mine
Act like a fool whose faith is blind
Whatever I do, I do it for your love.
Im not one for flowers
Or talking on the phone for hours
Fancy words have never been my game
An answered prayer I never prayed
That came true anyway
Now I know Ill never be the same.
If I light a candle in the night
To see the reflexion in your eyes
You dont even need to ask me why
Whatever I do, I do it for your love.
I write your name a thousand times
Inside a heart next to mine
Act like a fool whose faith is blind
Whatever I do, I do it for your love...

2 Steps

You know im the kind of guy that does a 9-5
Workin real hard cuz its the way I live my life
Back home just me and you girl all alone
With no one interrupting, switch off the phone
But I could be that other guy
Who comes home late at night and tells you lies
So why you trippin out on me girl all the time?
When everyday its only you thats on my mind
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz theres really no doubt about it
You know I've been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz theres really no doubt about it
You know I've been there for you and thats the truth
You know you're the kinda girl that doesn't need to front
Keep it real, let me know just what you want
Sometimes you just dont know when to stop
Your working so much over nothing
Your just losing what you got
Now cant you see there's no other girl
I think your the most beautiful woman in this world (yeah)
But you say I dont appreciate ya and I dont know how to treat ya
We dont do the same things we used to do nomore
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Remember, it wasnt that long ago
You told me that you loved me so
Dont forget all the nights we shared when you told me girl just how much you cared
Remember, you can be led astray
But thats the way playas play
Im not that kinda man why cant you understand cuz I
Want you to trust in me, Babygirl cant you see
You're only gonna mess things up
You've done enough
Why cant you stop cuz
You're gonna lose whats good for you
And thats the last thing you wanna do
Won't find another like me
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back

It Can Be Draining

Sometimes it can be draining,
And gets difficult...
To be in the midst,
Of thoughtless people.

Especially those who have aged,
To express less concern.
Or how their whims affect...
The ones who treasure their lessons learned.

At times emotional feelings exposed,
Are received to be ones embittered.
When sharing them amongst those,
Who could care less...
About the depthness of another's experiences.
And how those experiences are addressed,
Each day to expect, accept or reject.

Sometimes it can be draining,
And gets difficult...
To be in the midst,
Of thoughtless people.

Especially those who have aged,
To express less concern.
Or how their whims affect...
The ones who treasure their lessons learned.

It can be draining.
Isolating.
And reflectively disrespecting.

How We Learned Our Lessons

Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the observation of their sacrifices...
That's how we learned our lessons.

And we understood each one of them.
With our minds, eyes and ears opened.
Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.

Through the acceptance and loving ourselves.
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the giving of respect,
We ourselves sometimes did not get!
That's how we learned our lessons.

And even though our steps made forward...
Were made to believe by others as limited.
And sometimes we wept and knew this was negative.
It was through the acceptance of who we were,
And loving ourselves.
That's how we learned our lessons.

And the parents we loved and had,
Did not brag about their college degrees!
Or 'things' with them we could buy to achieve...
To succeed in the repossessing of our minds,
Some permit an entry for this to be done!

They were with us all the time,
Telling us we could accomplish anything!
And could prove that too to ourselves and anyone.
'Whatever' it was we chose in our lives to do.
And working hard we did...
To pursue.

Through the living of their lives...
That's how we learned our lessons.
Through the observation of their sacrifices...
That's how we learned our lessons.

Quit And Think About Tomorrow

No you can't fool me.
I don't easily buy it.
And no you can't fool me.
I'm looking right in your eyes.

No you can't fool me.
I don't easily buy it.
And no you can't fool me.
I'm looking right in your eyes.

You may say one thing to me...
But I'm looking right in your eyes.
You want me to believe...
But I'm looking right in your eyes.
And it is so incredible...
As I look you in your eyes.
That you'll choose to lie to me.
Your habits are no surprise.

When you're feeling down and out,
You try to pretend you're happy.
When you're feeling lonely too,
You try to hide this from me.
And when you are troubled...
I know that you are.
I know you are feeling...
Sad and blue.
I know that you are...
But what else can I do?

No you can't fool me.
I don't easily buy it.
And no you can't fool me.
I'm looking right in your eyes.

No you can't fool me.
I don't easily buy it.
And no you can't fool me.
I'm looking right in your eyes.

You may say one thing to me...
But I'm looking right in your eyes.

But I'm looking right in your eyes.

Your habits are no surprise.

When you're feeling down and out,
I know that you are.
I know you are feeling...
Sad and blue.
I know that you are...
But what else can I do?

If you want to 'trip'...
That's on you.
I can't prevent it.
That's on you.
If you choose to lie,
That's on you.
But...
You should quit and think about,
All those sorrows that you borrow...
With a dragging that you do into tomorrow!

If you want to 'trip'...
That's on you.
I can't prevent it.
That's on you.
If you choose to lie,
That's on you.
But...
You should quit and think about,
All those sorrows that you borrow...
With a dragging that you do into tomorrow!

If you want to 'trip'...
That's on you.
But...
You should quit and think about,
Tomorrow.
And changes to pursue.

If you want to 'trip'...
That's on you.
But...
You should quit and think about,
Tomorrow.
And those changes to pursue.

Quit and think about tomorrow.
'Quit and think about tomorrow.'
And those changes to pursue.
'And those changes to pursue.'
Quit and think about tomorrow.
'Quit and think about tomorrow.'
And be glad it's a new day too!
'And be glad it's a new day too! '
With those changes to pursue.
'With those changes to pursue.'
Why don't you quit and think,
That life you want to live and see tomorrow.

Emotions

i am feeling empty inside
maybe! it's because the feelings that i hide?
at times it's a feeling of loneliness
and at times, it's loves and desires hidden away.
but with all this i have to say.

i will never change the sensations
of feeling different emotions.
love, joy, sadness, bitterness, sorrow, anxieties, and stress.
but closeness is the one i love the best.

to be close and to be inspired, is my lifelong desire.
to have someone to hug you and to tell
you that everything is going to be alright.
and that someone is there, when you're down and out
that is what emotions is all about.

i found love and it was bursting to be free
a love, so deeply hidden inside of me.
i saw the love in someone elses eyes
feelings and emotions that they could not hide.

i felt their exhileration, and each and every sensation.
i felt the pains that a heart must go through
to bring all feelings closer to you.
the heart and the mind work hand in hand
but it is the soul that makes the plan.

(is it the mind that tells the heart what is love, what is pain.
what is sorrow? or is it the heart that tells the mind these things?)

the soul is the one that instills all these things into us
and this is what we have to trust.

emotions is lifes key
it could make you a slave, or set you free.
