You have been overdue for a wakeup call,

Not only will the clarity

With a desire of 'that' to pursue!

'WHY are you so optimistic?
You talk out of your mind!
That's too surrealistic! '

I've been waiting for you,
To find your life more simplistic!
If you realize your time,
Has been devoted being out of it...
Most of the time being unrealistic.
Worrying about trying to keep pretentions up.
Only to find yourself spending time,
For something that sucks!
Just for an image to front up?

You will discover...
Once you have recovered.
How foolish it has been,
To have spent your happiness...
On pinching pennies, nickles and dimes!
And not a dollar left,
To ease a peace you have left behind!
And for what?
To find yourself strapped and saddled,
For 'things' that mean nothing?
For something that continues to leave you,
Broke and flat on your butt?
And have brought you heartache and fuss.
For a life you cuss?

YES!
I am glad you have finally given that up!

Do you need to go through this?
Yes!
Now you have an opportunity,
To seek real happiness!
And 'that' has never been about
Taking mental trips...
That find you left,
Going completely ballistic!

'Do 'you' need this? '

YES!

And I hope, my friend...
You will stop defending that sadness.
To let a gladness begin!
And sever yourself from all that stressful mess!
Let it go.
Free from the addiction...
That keeps you tied up in restrictions!
You are concerned you may miss.

You may...
However,
Experience times of withdrawal!
An anxiety once hidden.
However...
Slowly it will leave you to be,
That 'you' rediscovered...
And totally free from all that 'stuff'
Not worthy to even reminisce.

To whatever it was,

Afterglow

feeling myself all of the time
all of the time feeling alright
taking a while raising a smile makes it all worthwhile
but if you wanted to find peace of mind
then you could find it any time you liked
you are the afterglow
feeling my way all of the time
all of the time doing just fine
taking a page out of my life

A New Life

It's time to start a new life.
Leave behind all the trash and blithe.

Why Should I Be That Optimistic?

If I was given the opportunity each day,
To seek a happiness with that on my mind to pursue...
Why would I spend twenty three hours of it,
Being negative and feeling as miserable as possible?

'That's a real good question.
Especially when one has been given twenty four.
To me...
That would be a wasted day.'

But...
You would still have one hour left.

'To do what?
It already takes me a full two hours,
To find someone to listen to my complaints.
And why should I be that optimistic? '

The Passion From Within

If you want something, you’ve got to believe you can have it, and take a stand;
Give it all you got, and reach out your hand;
You can’t just go through life without falling in fire;
In time, I think you’ll find what you truly desire;
Find your true passion, the passion from within;
If you can’t find your passion, then don’t stop until you do;
For only yourself can find the true you;
Just take a deeper look inside;
Life isn’t always going to be an easy ride;
You can’t always get what you desire, you have to fight;
You can find your way, because God is the light;
When your life gets rough, and you feel bad, just pray;
If you don’t understand, talk to God, He is the way;

My Last Breath

I believe,
The time has come for me to move on.
My breath shall no longer blow,
My heart shall no longer beat strong.
This physical body I shall leave behind,
But, my Soul will be set free.
There will be no more pain no more sadness,
Nothing left in which to hurt me.
Sadly I must leave behind what has always meant the most,
Only because I know I am not what they need.
They deserve to be happy not watch me suffer,
Their much better off, indeed.
So as I prepare for my long journey Home,
I finally begin to feel some peace of mind.
Soon all this will be behind me,

Break Loose

I’m growing old disgracefully.
It is not eccentricity
but a decision I have made,
Though rules are meant to be obeyed
.
The time has come to be just me
and not the me you’d have me be.
Although perhaps you’ll fume and fuss
I do not give a tinkers cuss.

No keeping up appearances.
Seeking official clearances
to the things I want to do.
If you don’t like it you can sue.

No three piece suit and tie for me
I aim for comfort casually.
There’s no one who I need impress.
Removes the need to power dress.

What you see is what you get
I am quite real so don’t forget.
No man can say he is my boss
I cannot say I feel the loss.

Retired now completely free
to be the man I want to be..
I have no need to chase success
I never did I must confess.

I lived my life as I thought best.
I think I earned the right to rest.
I find that rest’s eluding me
and I have little time that’s free

It’s rather strange but now I find
I left the world of work behind.
I’m busier than I was before
I find that I am doing more.

More than I ever did at work
although I was not one to shirk.
Perhaps because I can refuse
to do the things of little use.

Which used to be required of me
by people in authority
of little use to anyone.
Not now those days are long gone

I’ve cast aside my public face.
The mask I used to keep in place.
So I can act disgracefully
and let whole world see it’s me.

So growing old disgracefully
Is much more fun than quietly
Just taking to my easy chair
and let the world forget I’m there.

There’s more to life than the TV
I want to live outrageously.
Its my intent to break the rules.
which rule the life of the poor fools.

Who think at sixty life is done.
Retirement is the time for fun.
I find I can enjoy each day
in doing things in my own way.

Take my advice and don’t think twice
retirement is very nice.
Cast off responsibility
grow old disgracefully like me.

Of Non-ness

But at this time...
On these non-days,
When a sense of non-ness is existing.
I try to find in my mind,
A reason and a rhyme...
To define what it is I choose to decline.

And it is at this time,
I'm feeling quite fine.
And those non-days existing,
With a non-ness to grind...
To upset my mind,
I can't allow...
Myself to be twisted in the mix of it!

I once participated in heated debates.
About the absence of the right,
To enjoy the life I've made.
Without feeling I should trade away...
This happiness I feel and have,
I just can't walk away from to see betrayed.

And it is because at this time,
On these non-days...
Whether they come to others to keep and stay,
I wish agitation begin from me to fade.

Because at this time I made up my mind,
On those non-days bringing all that non-ness to find...

As if my breath is on your neck.
And yet...

The Secret Of Happiness

The secret of happiness is not hidden behind the distances of perfection
Nor in posessing dozens of gold and wealth

I never had complicated dreams since I
believe that the real happiness in the simple things exists

Never dreamed of becoming a crown queen

Never wanted to have a perfect life
The happiness was my Desire

And I always had the faith that at the little things the happiness can be found

There is no need for complicated heart desires

At the simple things we can find the perfect and the happy life

Just keeping the hope in the heart
The kindness of soul and love of God

The perfect life is hidden there don't go far away

Finding the real love not the perfect one

Was my hearts best Desire

Because always I had the faith

The secret of finding the happiness is hidden at simple desires and the real ones

What worts all the world wealth if you don't have the faith of God in the heart
