Decreasing In Comfort And Questioned
Snatched early to protect a mind too fragile.
And determined by those misguided,
There is a purity that should remain unaffected...
If one's innocence is spared.
And even though good intentions are meant,
The disadvantage comes to the one...
Unprepared for the unpredictable events,
One has to face on a daily basis to mentally survive.
To become shielded,
Is no escape from that which can not be erased.
One shielded remains confused.
And is convinced truth must be avoided.
One shielded remains convinced...
A running away from any hints of truth is a benefit.
And...
Unfortunate are those forever troubled.
Running away to shelter themselves,
In places decreasing in comfort and questioned.

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth
The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!
What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!
The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!
We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!
Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!
These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!
Do You Know What You Want
Someone who treats you right
Stay with you day and night
I can tell that's what you need
I know just what to do
I'll take good care of you
Baby you can get that from me
I can tell she's not treating you right
Every time you look at me
So which one will you choose
You look so confused
Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Love's so hard to find
So make up your mind
Do you know what you want
Oh baby can't you see
One minute you're with me
Next one you are all over her
She talks behind your back
You know I'll stay on track
Something she wouldn't for sure
How can I help you to make up your mind
Boy you're running out of time
So which one will you choose
You look so confused
Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Love's so hard to find
So make up your mind
Do you know what you want
[BRIDGE]
Please call me and say
I am the one
You need in your life
The game that you play
Ain't no fun
Please answer me now
Gotta know what you want
I can tell she's not treating you right
Every time you look at me
So which one will you choose
You look so confused
Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
How can I help you to make up your mind
Boy you're running out of time
So which one will you choose
You look so confused
Tell me the truth
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Do you know what you want
Love's so hard to find
So make up your mind
Do you know what you want

The Question
The dilemma
The war in Iraq is over, lasted eight years. Soldiers without arms
and legs in wheel chairs are proud to have shielded their country
from deadly danger without knowing what this danger was about.
The crippled have no choice; they must believe or the suffering
is too much to bear; must not been told they fought a useless war.
Pin medals on their chests and forget them, there is s a new war to
be fought waiting for the naive to make sacrifices in some distant
oil and sand land. If one of them stumbles on the truth they must
be silenced by calling them confused, and victims of wanton cant.
A nation who believes in Fox News and the rich owns the media
were truth is portrait as lie. Only an uprising can free them from
capitalist yoke. But how do you tell good people their cars are run
on the torment of oppressed?

Unfortunate is This Reality
Disliking the truth,
Does not stop it from happening.
Or an experience of it,
Can not and could not
Be erased from one's mind.
Those who know truth,
Are not easily persuaded.
Or told they have been mislead.
There is a difference between truth,
And a dishonesty being fed to one's head.
Many don't see this,
And continue to believe
Whatever they decide,
Will be a truth they create for others to feed.
And unfortunate is this reality.
Disliking the truth,
Does not stop it from happening.
Or an experience of it,
Can not and could not
Be erased from one's mind.

Trusting In The Lord
A need for trust marks the way, as things do change, day to day,
As we become self-assured, things can be changed by The Lord,
For it is The Lord, and Him alone, Who sets the plan for His own,
Having set forth a much larger plan, than in the heart of any man.
God’s Plan shall indeed survive, just as His Will keeps man alive,
And when things appear to fall apart, real Trust must fill our heart.
As Christ leads us, in His Peace, that in dark times will not cease.
While God leads us by His hand, in this sometimes troubled land.
As present days seem to darken, it’s God’s voice we must harken,
While fully trusting in God’s will, to let our troubled heart to be still,
For God alone, does not change, while His plan remains the same,
And in this dark and troubled world, it is this Truth, we must herald.
The Lord God remains in control, through every trial, big and small,
And when His Hand I cannot see, His Truth alone is enough for me,
So as I continue my life down here, I know that God is always near,
Guiding me with Power and Grace, as I continue in this earthly race.
Friend, my trust is not in man or me, but, in The God of all Eternity,
Who alone, holds all things together, not only for now, but forever;
Sustaining all things is Jesus Christ, He, Who gave me Eternal Life,
And if Eternal Life is His to give, He’s able to help me, daily to live.

At First There Was Only The Truth
at first there was only the truth
it was born
it did not know anything about lies
and being pure
and unrelated yet to anyone except to mother
the truth remains to be the truth
until many things happened
on its life,
father lies at him
at first he is confused
and brothers expect him to be this way and that way
like what his sisters is telling him
from time to time
truth wants to remain true
because there is joy to its nature
but nature too dislikes it
and then it inflicts pain
to it
at first there was the pinch
it increased to slaps
and then the mauling began
there were series of intimidation
sometimes they use the carrot
sometimes the stick
truth was confused until it gets of age
and knows the mechanisms
of defenses
of age it knows right and wrong
of course, it knows what is true and what is not
it is so easy to detect that
even on asymptomatic situations
but this world are made of rules
and liars who triumph hold the book, the law, the rules of their own games
and truth too just like you wants to survive
and so finally it knows how to wear different colors
shades, clothes, sneakers,
masks,
it knows about the fox
and the wiles of the snakes
and true to itself
it becomes a wise creature
joins the rat race
goes for a kill
even on acrobatics
knows when to change
its face
to hide its voice
and the exact time
to bite
and lick.

Question Still Remain
When I found out
If I took it as the truth
could there be another meaning here?
If what you say
is what you wanted to be true
do you know you've lost your reasoning?
So filled with doubt
So unaffected by the news
I am different than I used to be
and what you say
I'm so convinced its not the truth
Was it me or was it
I know that I'm still the same
Everything around me changes
Questions still remain
Questions still remain
Questions still remain
When I found out
If I took it as the truth
could there be another meaning here?
I know that I'm still the same
Everything around me changes

Avoided To Evade
Excluded to delude.
Avoided to evade.
And truth as it is meant to be,
Will never find its way to the top...
Of anyone's list.
The trick has been in resisting it.
To make it something prayed against,
For the benefit to keep wickedness a profit.
And at the expense of decadence,
Payments are made to keep truth away.
Maintaining fear and descriptions to depict it,
Makes the drugging of the mind a medicated acceptance.
Avoided to evade and excluded to delude.

Invisible Is The Injury Suffered
Those who do not grow...
Believing God, Mother Nature and Father Time,
Will honor their requests to keep things unchanged...
To remain as they are?
With a comfort provided,
To decide to do what they please and choose?
Are also hoping never to face reality.
And with assistance from those who are convinced,
They aid with a benefit to go along with people like this...
Do a mind like this more harm.
Invisible is the injury suffered,
By the one who protects their neurosis!

That Time You Wish To Take From Me Has Come Too Late
If you've noticed it,
You are the one 'hanging-in-there' convinced...
That things take time and it is never too late,
For situations to change if one remains patient.
Those portrayals seem to work only in two hour movies.
First of all,
You and I need not to argue over 'your' philosophy.
None of what you believe works for me.
I am not going to volunteer to hang anywhere.
Or enforce a mood swing to shift upon myself to do it.
I am interested in you.
However...
Do not think I am going to decrease the horsepower,
In my engine...
Because I will not listen to your suggestions,
About how I drive in the direction I have taken.
If you don't wish to ride just tell me.
But decreasing my speed to make you happy...
Is not going to be a focus in my mind to allow to happen.
Chill with those conditioned repetitions!
No bush do I beat to see turn into a rose.
You want to jump off here?
Because you are not going to remain agitating my nerves.
That time you wish to take from me has come too late.
And I don't need to see a flashing neon stop sign,
To have that in my mind to caution.
Since the action has been witnessed as a fact proven.
Do you mind unstrapping and jumping off here!
I would suggest it since my ejection seat malfunctions.
I don't want you to think of me as being rude or abusive.
I've got places to go, people to see and things to get done to do.

The Truth About Lying
A lie and the truth are one in the same, both are necessary allow me to explain.
Some say the truth will set you free, but that “some” is no part of me.
My truth in your eyes is blasphemy, the truth being that I even lie to me.
Mistakes are errors left uncorrected, also known as opportunities neglected.
The truth is always the first expected. A lie is born from the truth rejected.
Truth is a word so infected by the mouths of those who so diligently protect it.
The very people who refuse to accept it.
My truth is mine and it changes all of the time, thus I protect it by lying.
Not to myself but to everyone else and never with any bad intentions
Never out of disparity for attention, only to avoid a preconceived misconception

Poetry as bread - In the spirit of Rumi 28
Poetry is like bread – daily bread,
like ‘Irish’ soda bread, best eaten on its day:
In the bakery of the heart and mind,
the baker’s woken early before dawn,
refreshed and clear of purpose, full of the day’s promise;
brings air to flour, moulds and shapes;
as the sun rises, so the bread.
Here it is, warm from the heart,
smell it – this is the smell of goodness, isn’t it?
Touch it, both crisp and soft by turns;
taste its goodness, beauty, truth, its very being;
this is not yesterday’s bread, with which you toy
while waiting between courses, your head’s straying mind
in a thousand other places; this is here and now;
coming warm from the heart; eat it with your heart;
this is the heart’s nourishment; tomorrow it may serve
tomorrow’s mind; today, it is your daily bread,
your nourishment – this poem, warm from heart to heart.
And when you've eaten it - the bread has disappeared -
only your satisfaction remains, beyond all sense;
as these words, already staling on the page,
exposed to all the wanderings of the mind;
only the love that they were made with, still remains;
this, is your daily bread.

The Brewing Scent Of Freshly Made Coffee
It is no longer a matter of them telling the truth.
No...It isn't!
And it should be a concern for those who know it,
As it exists in their gut and as it has to them meant,
From observation, felt and experienced as presented...
That those who use other than truth to tell,
Actually are not convinced others are aware they lie.
Since alibis and excuses behind which they hide,
Has been something done to do all of their lives.
And their delusions have become their defense mechanisms.
But today,
Those embellishments exaggerated are easily chased away.
And facing consequences as a result of their defenses,
Has created their dilemmas and conflicts with their entitlements.
Some people will create right in the face of others,
There own versions of what is going on.
With eyes are pure as those seen coming from children.
And this isn't given as an option to express,
Their difference of opinion to address.
This comes from refusing to accept the absence of alternatives.
And what has taken place is immediately from them mentally erased.
Leaving feelings of abandonment,
By those who have been fantasized all their lives.
That is why they protest with a nonacceptance of a reality that is!
Although those realities as they are have never before to them been felt.
And no one seems to acknowledge,
The brewing scent of freshly made coffee...
There!
And everywhere in the air for all to get a deep whiff of it.
'That 'smell'?
What is it? '
~I have not a clue.~

True Love Is...
True love is
the look into your eyes
that is meant for you alone,
a gentle kiss that says everything will be all right,
a hand held in just the right way at the right time,
a hug gives you comfort feel.
True love is
a secret told by one heart and guarded by my mind,
a belief that someone knows you as no one else can,
the little daily acts of thoughtfulness
that go unmentioned but being noticed.
True love is
wonder feeling that no matter where you are,
the deepest part of you remains with the one you love,
a dream that comes true with time, places,
trust and honesty.
True Love is forever like
Diamond is Forever

Illogicality
In the beginning was the WORD.
So we are told but not who spoke
Which seems to me to be absurd.
I m forced to treat it as a joke.
No one to speak no one to hear
Which seems to be improbable
and fails to satisfy I fear.
I find it to be impossible
I would prefer a logical
explanation, I can
believe just might be true
But fairy stories will not do.
I’m sceptical, I need proof.
I can’t accept on faith alone
That what we’re taught must be the truth.
I think the truth remains unknown.
I can respect what you believe
I only ask you do the same.
Because I happen to perceive
A different start to the game.
Who was it spoke from whence came he?
Who created the creator.
Was he in fact pure energy?
that sprang from some stars molten core.
I only know I do not know
and I refuse to speculate.
About what happened long ago.
I am content to indicate.
I don’t believe, don’t even try.
I cite the lack of evidence.
The theory seems to fly
Into the face of common sense.
Although I do not claim to be
anything but a simple man
I must reject entirely
The claims of those who say they can.
Teach the truth because they know.
It must remain a mystery
They have no evidence to show
They have divine authority.
I’m sceptical and cynical.
I have a brain that I can use.
I am convinced it’s logical
to be determined to refuse
to accept what I was taught.
By those who know no more than me.
Although my teachers think I ought.
I will rebel instinctively

Parallel Lines
Kindred spirits moving along the spiral
I can see you up on another level
Its too great a fall
And I cant reach you to pull me higher
But I dont seem to get much closer or any more far
What would you tell me, if I could hear you speaking?
If you could touch me, how would I know the feeling?
I just cant imagine
But I try to do it anyway
I wish I was moving faster, I wish youd drift back
But it just wasnt meant to happen
Very soon Ill have to
Face the fact
Some things never come together
Parallel lines running on forever
And you cant turn back
There is never any starting over
Parallel lines never do cross over
Its a challenge
Gotta make myself remember
Facing the truth, well, that doesnt mean surrender
What is bravado and how much is a force of will?
I know that the world is full of opposites that attract
But unless we ignore the physics
Very soon well have to
So I send you the gift of empathy
If youd once in your life acknowledge me
I have visualized so thoroughly
That when I think of me I think of we
Cant face the truth
It means that we must surrender
Understanding wont satisfy the hunger
It whittles away at the destiny we fulfill
And like an animal running wild
You cant call it back
And its just gonna make it harder
When its finally time to
Its like a train thats stuck running on a track
Parallel lines running on, running on, running on

Am I running from myself?
Am I running from myself?
Am I?
Who can tell me whom am I running from?
Is it me who is a villain of my own self?
Or is it a man in the mirror
Am I running from?
A man who is like me
But has no feelings
Who am I running from?
Knowing one or the other day
I have to face the reality
Whom am I running from?
Whom am I running from?
But I am not cheating myself
Am I?
No I’m not
Then why is it
Am I running from myself?
Who can tell me who am I running from?
Does anybody have answer for that?
Whom am I running from?
No! No! No!
Got to solve this puzzle of caves myself
As I have to face the reality one day
Nobody can answer my questions
Then I myself
Have to keep on moving
Solving my problems myself
As to why am I running from myself?
Why am I running from myself?
Know they would talk about it
Day in day out
Who cares!
I have to stop myself
Myself today or tomorrow
Have to get back on track
Coz that is the way I have to be
Have to curb my ways
I know I have to explain myself a lot
Why Am I running from myself?
But I have to curb myself
Why Am I running from myself?
Why Am I running from myself?

I'm running but to where?
Running, running
There is nothing lef to do.
Running...
Away from my tears
Away from my pen
Running to know who I,
am.
Running
But you, don't know what,
You're,
Running from.
Running in circles
Going nowhere.
I'm saying Goodbye
I am runnning away.
Never stop runnning
Words running throught,
My mind.
Running away,
Like the coward,
Like him
Horrible words
I am running and runnning,
For you.
I m running but to where?
I can't believe
That I've put up with you lies.
Im running from the past..
Running out the pain.
Running with out you.
