Dealing With My Own Nonsense

You can be hardheaded and stubborn,
As much as you like.
But not on my time.
You will find I don't mind,
Leaving folks like you behind.
I only accept my own foolishness.
That's it!
Dealing with my own nonsense,
Is all I am going to agree to handle.
And I can be a hand full.
Trust...
But don't test me.

What's On My Mind

I can't have this conversation
Without lots of reservations on the line
If there's a way to slip around it
Then I'm bound to get around it one more time
Honey you are so persuasive
But it makes me more evasive when you pry
You can label me elusive
But the facts are inconclusive at this time
'Cause you can't handle what's on my mind
I've got roses growing over what you'd find
But keep on asking if you're inclined
'Cause you can't handle what's on my mind
I don't mean to drive you crazy
Comin' off all vague and hazy just because
I don't have an answer for you
I just wouldn't want to bore you if it does
'Cause you can't handle what's on my mind
I've got roses growing over what you'd find
But keep on asking if you're inclined
'Cause you can't handle what's on my mind
But keep on asking if you're inclined
'Cause you can't handle what's on my mind
Because you can't handle what's on my mind

When A Maturity Much Needed Is Sought And Begins

All foolishness started between us will end,
When a maturity much needed is sought and begins.

Those games chosen to play,
To protect insecurities...
Needing to be chased away,
Are nothing more than childish pranks.
Overdue for a ridding...
Instead of pursuing them to please,
A mental dysfunction to outdo and out rank.

I've lost all attraction to play games like that.

I will return your calls.
But a tolerance of a nonsense initiated,
I no longer accept at all.
What point is made,
By a charading done to masquerade?
And in these days we live call for a seriousness.
With my desire to continue on like this...
Leaving you behind with the times I will not miss.

All foolishness started between us will end,
When a maturity much needed is sought and begins.

2009

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

People will find themselves delusion free.
And committed to priorities...
Greed and fantasies did not allow them to be.
An awakening of sorts,
Will have them questioning their religious beliefs.
Since those philosophies held onto...
Created their conflicts and their grief!

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

Remember those times and days of respect?
Expect more of that sincerely reflected.
Accept kindness expressed,
From those you did not expect.
And reject temptation to extend bitterness.
There will be many who will wish to increase peace.
To see the nonsense kept in declaring who is inferior...
As superiority over others,
Will from their minds decrease.

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

Protective thoughts to defend,
Of what is not yours but mine will come to an end.
Since an introduction of a higher consciousness will take affect.
To inspire goodwill for all humanity!
And all who invested in 'things' they lost...
Will discover they have become happier.
To achieve this without paying the cost!
With wishes of simplicity...
To become the focused objectivity!

Two thousand and nine?
Hmmm.
2009?

A new beginning comes.
With a clarity of mind that defines reality!
And leaving behind divisions and nonsense.
Of all kinds.
That's what folks will find,
In 2-0-0-9.

To Seek New Lows

Those who wish with you,
To seek new lows.
With a disrespect...
That sinks deeper into neglect,
Of one's integrity.
Let these folks go.

Unless a willingness to be dragged,
Through the mud and laughed at...
Is a desired goal.
Some people can get too familiar,
With what they believe another should accept.
As a means of a closeness to be given one gets.

Let these folks go.
Unless a willingness to be dragged,
Through the mud and laughed at...
Is a desired goal.
Who knows?
There are those who call this behavioral nonsense,
Friendship.

'Uh...
I'm gonna have to find,
Another way to occupy my time.
'Cause you don't know me like that!
Nor will I allow this sleaze appeal,
To get any deeper to offend in a new dimension.'

E-Nuff

When I've had enough!
That's a capital 'E'...
With an attached 'Nuff.'
The last thing on my mind,
Is seeking a therapist.
I know what I am dealing with.
With no one needed,
To discuss how to handle it!

Some folks are driven to boil over.
As if they are avoiding letting off steam.
My approach is quite the opposite.
Those kinds of performances...
No one will get or see from me.
I keep my mouth closed.
With no huff to puff.
Or acts of aggravation...
Will anyone witness to see.

An open door I might have left cracked,
Becomes sealed to be cemented.
And those who may have accused me,
In a past that has gone to fade...
Of being moody and tempermental,
In those days when I allowed that craze...
Are no longer 'privy' to those scenes.
My patience will not be enticed to screams.
No looks of satisfaction,
Will I produce in others' eyes.

With maturity comes wisdom.
And I have had experts in the field of irritation...
Teach to me the value of being wise.

When I've had enough!
That's a capital 'E'...
With an attached 'Nuff.'
The last thing on my mind,
Is seeking a therapist.
I know what I am dealing with.
With no one needed,
To discuss how to handle it!

My peace of mind delivered...
Will not be wrapped and packed,
To be sent back.
And debating that as a fact...
Is a trap that will no longer unhinge,
THAT from me as my discovery.

E with a Nuff of that stuff,
Is what it is!
E-Nuff.

Just Not There

Some folks don't and wont get it.
What has been said to them or done.
A thorough and complete programming instilled...
Has been fed and eaten,
By nearly everyone.

What some may see as bleak...
As their false foundations have been shakened,
From beneath their feet.
Others view this as opportunities to dismiss conflicts.
To begin to fix those divisions that have kept folks hiding,
Behind nonsense and their foolishness.

But some folks don't and wont get it.
What has been said to them or done.
A thorough and complete programming instilled...
Has been fed and eaten.
By nearly everyone.

And the ones who have awakened,
With a consciousness prepared.
Are very reluctant to share what is known!
Since a clarity in the eyes of most...
Is just not there!
With a promise it is coming to be shown,
To make an appearance anywhere!
Anytime,
Soon!

In The World Of Adulthood

Those remaining,
In the playing of their silly games...
In a sustained immaturity,
Find themselves wishing to undo...
What it is they have done they do,
Once to them it has been acknowledged...
Those remaining,
In the playing of their silly games...
In a sustained immaturity,
Have lost all credibility...
In the world of adulthood,
Where children dressed 'as' adults...
Are not allowed to impress,
With a childish foolishness to be accepted.

'Comeon!
You can't take a joke? '

~I use to accept fools with a suffering done...
Of their antics too.
At one time.
But a seriousness of my life,
And in my mind...
Seemed to have overnight,
Risen to the top of my priority list.
And adults who are mature,
Are the only folks I wish to deal with.
And they today appear difficult to find.
Call it...
A plateau of maturity reached.~

One Last Look

(payne/ tate)
Well it seems such a long time
Since our love had its day
You hope it knew the times I tried not let you slip away
Not always eye to eye looking at whats new
You know it wont be easy, being without you
You have to go, is there something you must find?
Take one last look at love baby
Take one last look at the love were leaving behind
One last look, therell be no more making your mind up
One last look at love oh oh
I realise youre changing
You know it needs to be
I didnt know this trust in you would take your love from me
We gave each other something we outgrew yesterday
I hope that you remember, how love it was with me
You have to go, is there something you must find?
Take one last look at love baby
Take one last look at the love were leaving behind
One last look, therell be no more making your mind up
One last look at love
You have to go, is there something you must find?
Take one last look at love
Take one last look at the love were leaving behind
One last look, therell be no more making your mind up
One last look , one last look at love

The Day We Met

the day we met
our eyes level

our hands entwine
both full grown
and mature

our heads
are different
mine is bigger
and yours so
hard and brittle

yet we agree
on something
and some feelings

we agree
we do not have to change
you or me
or both of us

we agree
on this love

we accept
everything
what i have you take
what you have i too, take

it is all yes
there is no no

but for our survival
we agree
that on some blanks
we may fill up
and make our own
answers

brief and concise
and no tearing
of pages

no return
no exchange

these are the rules
these are the instructions

now, we may proceed
let us turn to the next page, please...

Last Clown Left

Why are you attempting,
To destroy my peace of mind?
I'd spend more time looking behind me,
If I were you!

Not one face says they are pleased,
With your ignorance!
Since in this neighborhood...
We are mending fences!

Not trying to tear them down.

You must be the last clown left,
From that circus?

You better 'check' yourself.
Before you find the ground...
A place found,
Willing to quietly accept your foolishness.

Our Stubborn Definitions Kept

Most of us were taught to keep sustained,
Only one interest.
And that would be kept in ourselves.

We were taught to look at others,
As charity cases, subservient and weak.
And delighted to defeat them as seen on TV.
Or with games to highlight our 'worldly' aggressions.
With obsessions to dominate.

We were taught to believe,
We were entitled to take anything we touched.
With a declaring of it ours immediately.
No matter whose hands grasped it first.
Or feet stood upon it since time began.
No matter what 'it' was we wanted...
It was ours with a declaring of a victory.

We were taught to perceive ourselves,
As the greatest things on Earth...
God has ever made from birth.
With a feeding on images to thirst this.

We isolated ourselves from those,
Who did not accept our ways!
And today we can not accept 'ourselves'...
Being without.
And we demand that others pay...
For the greeding of our selfishness,
To maintain our perceptions,
Within us nurtured to stay.

And those who have known us to be,
Highly motivated by our creative thoughts...
Are wishing us the best,
With a battle with truth now on our doorsteps.
And in a foolishness keeps us in this struggle fought.

And most of us protest this 'invader'...
That has come to test,
Our stubborn definitions kept with such conviction.
No matter what it takes...
We honor those who give away their lives,
In a public display to say they are out heroes.
But those in the know pray for their souls.

Left to Play the Blame Game

Conditioned to discredit their own kind.
In neighborhoods...
Where one has said,
Folks have lost their moral fiber.
Others who have come to witness this...
Have come to realize,
Those folks have also lost their minds.

Unfortunately...
They have been encourage,
To lose their identity as well.
Their ambitions have been to flaunt,
A foolishness dressed to impress!
In a collected unified distrust of one another.
Not realizing this would lead to communities,
Under duress.
And stressed in their own distress.

With no one left to care,
How or if they correct such a mess.
Since this has been their wish!
Bestowing a self destruction done at its best.
Left to play the blame game...
With no one but themselves.

Pointing fingers!
And leaving them to thrive...
In conditions they've imposed,
But have chosen to see it with eyes...
In blind defiance.
Despising truth,
That confronts them exposed.

But this and who they are goes denied!
No matter who comes qualified...
To tell them about themselves.
Or tries to correct their ignorant lives.
Whether dressed in street clothes...
Or suited up with bowties!

'They just do not get it! '

A mindset this shallow...
Although recognized,
Is best to leave in the hands of those who defend it.
Since those who criticize and become offended,
Are the ones that are ostracized!
The ones trying to mend it!

Finding they are living much happier lives...
Divorced from such division.
Divorced from those in constant criticsms.
And observing this nonsense from the outside.

Living with a peace of mind...
As a decision made.
And feeling grateful and blessed,
In confessions they profess...
They were able to find,
With a welcomed rest!

You Can Handle It

That's right.
I can provoke the slow pokes.

I tell folks...
'Don't sit and wait,
For someone to come...
To help you make up 'your' mind.
As to what should or should not be done.
Who's life is it you're living?

Find the time to do that yourself.
And quick!
Don't sit and wait in between thoughts.
Pick at least one.
Jump on it and run.
You can handle it! '

Psalm 129

Will you trust me in the valley deep?
Will you trust me as you lay down to sleep?
Yes I will trust you despite the pain
Yes I will trust you without any gain

Will you trust me in the depths of the sea?
Will you trust me though we may not agree?
Yes I will trust you in the darkest night
Yes I will trust you when I have no sight

Will you trust me when your lost and alone?
Will you trust me when your far from home?
Yes I will trust you when I have lost my way
Yes I will trust you to bring me back one day

Will you trust me that justice is Mine?
Will you trust me to give you new wine?
Yes I will trust you and turn the cheek
Yes I will trust you, your presence I seek

On A Plateau Leaving

On a plateau leaving...
Are those who stood by to warn,
And 'suggest'...
Times to leave behind,
Limiting and upsetting pettiness...
Would overnight,
Be as useless as a waste of breath.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those who have achieved...
A higher consciousness.
And not one is looking to find,
Anyone from fading times...
Who did not have this addressed.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Those who are commited to defeat and confine.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.

On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Those who are commited to defeat and confine.
And...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.
Yes...
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving behind.

And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving
On a plateau leaving,
Are those in a new state of mind.
And...
On a plateau leaving.
On a plateau leaving.

Don't You Trust Me?

I aint got time for this man im out
We should stop for a while
You will find me standing by
(Dont you trust me)
Over here at the side of your life
(Not that I dont trust you)
You spend all of your hours just rushing around
Do you have a little time to have a little time for me
As soon as I leave the house u wanna page me
See u got me trapped im going crazy this is slavery
You act like its outrageous give me space it will get betta
And maybe we wont argue and be through with all these sorry letters
As soon as I come home its like I get third degree
Where u been and who u with I get no room to breathe
It makes me wanna leave
Im sick of these tricks up your sleeve
Your suspicious I deceive
Give me grief without belief
But to me if u really trust me its then it's pitiful question me about ma were about
>Thats so trival let me live ma life and u can live yours
Just be there to help me and support is what ya hear for.
Not to give me stress
And add ta presser
home is where i go the rest i got to pass the test
im sorry if I left you all alone
But I couldnt make it home so we argue on the phone.
(Dont you trust me)
You should stop for a while
You will find me standing by
(Dont you trust me)
Over here at the side of your life
(Not that I dont trust you)
You spend all your hours just rushing around
Do have a little time to have a little time for me
(Not that I dont trust you)
Calling up ma house then hanging up u think that makes sense
Tell me what it takes to say for us to be friends
Its time for us to take our separate paths
We had a lotta laughs but the good keeps coming pass
Lets make it a even break dont make it scandalous trying be mature
im pretty sure we can handle this
Your saying im to busy I ignore you
I guess u didnt hear me when I said that I cared for u
But now I see that the arguments are nightly
I wanna hold u tightly but instead u wanna fight me
So y would i stress and aggravate me
Instead I rather break, hope that you dont hate me
You tell me that you love me but u lying
Fighting back the urge to start crying
I wipe away your tears come and hug me
I love you like u love me
(Girl Dont u trust me)
You should stop for a while
You will find me standing by
(Dont you trust me)
Over here at your side of your life
(Not that I dont trust you)
You spend all of your hours just rushing around
Do have a little time to have a little time for me
(Not that I dont trust you)
I hang up the phone I cant bare hear u yelling at me
Maybe we should end it neither one of us r happy
You know that im emotional u knew me coming ova crying
Just to get me feeling guilty
You n me were meant to be and yet u always wanna sweat
How much closer can we get (dont treat)
Just let me pack ma things n ill be out
This time im breaking out you let your mouth over crowd me
I cant take the beefing n the griffin
I get no room to sleep I hope you sees cuz im leaving
Maybe next time youll be a little more sure
And I can give you more when u mature
But baby until then I gotta leave ya its not that I dont need yea but see ya
N I hope u understand y im busted not because we frustrated
You should stop for a while
You will find me standing by
(Dont you trust me)
Over here at the side of your life
(Not that I dont trust you)
You spend all your hours just rushing around

Solitaire

Carl nutter, renee borek, king guion
Since youve gone I spend each lonely night,
Dealing out the cards from left to right,
And the king of hearts is there to remind me
That Im all alone playing solitaire.
Love was just another game for two,
I see now thats all it meant to you,
And my heart got lost somewhere in the shuffle,
So Im all alone playing solitaire
In each romance theres an element of chance,
A gamble to win or to lose,
You play to win, then you find youre playing in a game with no rules,
Just made for fools.
Now, the joker has a laugh on me,
cause I played my hand so carelessly,
And until you wanna share that old feeling,
Ill be dealing time away with solitaire.
And until you want to share that old feeling,
Ill be dealing time away, dealing time away with solitaire.

All That Is Regarded Foolishness

With experiences lived.
And an aging process accepted,
One realizes upon reflection...
How much easier it is to judge.
Than it is to self-examine.

Not many are fortunate to survive,
Through life threatening diseases.
To then step aside with their eyes open wide,
With a freeing of themselves from insecurities left...
Hidden deep inside to confront and rid.

With experiences lived.
And an aging process accepted,
One realizes upon reflection...
How much easier it is to judge.
Than it is to self-examine.

But when that moment in time comes,
An accepting of one's flaws and blemishes are done.
With a leaving behind trivial nonsense.
And all that is regarded as foolishness,
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.

Yesterday and those mistakes made,
And all that is regarded as foolishness...
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.

Wishing for excuses and alibis to create,
Becomes less tolerated to quickly dismiss.
And all that is regarded as foolishness disappears.
