Competent AND Competitive

People given positions,
Would like to believe themselves...
As being intelligent.
To then be compensated,
For the ease to be manipulated.
And accepted to play on the team.

Those who are intelligent,
Are rarely offered a second interview.
Since anyone in a position to hire,
Would find it difficult to fire...
Someone with an opinion,
Who proves to be competent AND competitive.

Here is the secret of inspiration: Tell yourself that thousands and tens of thousands of people, not very intelligent and certainly no more intelligent than the rest of us, have mastered problems as difficult as those that now baffle you.

This... there's nothing more difficult than this. Because we have really, truly good white people in important positions. And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. We're in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power.

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 05

The country is adorned by intelligent and the religion by virtuous men. Padshahs stand more in need of the advice of intelligent men than intelligent men of the proximity of padshahs.

If thou wilt listen to advice, padshah,
There is none better in all books than this:
‘Entrust a business to an intelligent man
Although it may not be his occupation.’

When I have a difficult subject before me — when I find the road narrow, and can see no other way of teaching a well established truth except by pleasing one intelligent man and displeasing ten thousand fools — I prefer to address myself to the one man, and to take no notice whatever of the condemnation of the multitude; I prefer to extricate that intelligent man from his embarrassment and show him the cause of his perplexity, so that he may attain perfection and be at peace.

Who wants the intelligent?

The intelligent one is ungrateful.
His eyes are on steps ahead
Not on the ones trodden.
The intelligent one is unreliable.
His eyes are on the steps ahead
Not on the one he is on.
He reaches the end by bending the means..
Who wants intelligent people?

You Give Intelligent Life a Bad Name

You give intelligent life a bad name.
Your behavior is quite ignorant...
And you display it without any shame.
A daily deposit of snide comments,
Seems a trend you send with ease.
And those you subject,
To disrespect unsuspectedly...
Aren't amused and far from pleased.

At least in public...
Your actions aren't received!

You give intelligent life a bad name...
For attention that's obviously apparent.
But no one who observes you,
Acting with such disgust...
Find fault at all with your parents?

They probably waited until you slept,
Packed their bags and left,
You alone!
Who made you believe
An attitude like yours
Was ever acceptable or condoned?

You give intelligent life a bad name.

Are you an experiment...
From another time unknown?
Or have you been around
Being an obnoxious clown,
Reflecting social patterns
No one admits...
In this 'town'
Are quite like our own! ?

Intelligent Stupidity?

'Intelligent Stupidty' are we not?
weapons we make to kill with one shot?
Intelligent Stupidity is when technology
is not up with our spirituality.
You can be as intelligent as you want,
but what good is it if it destroys what you got?

Reality of life...

All those minding the attitude of multitude,
Aren't dragged into the den of solitude,
All those who are at the den of solitude,
Aren't minding the attitude of multitude,
All those who learn to read the mind of people,
Aren't energized to be useful,
All those who are energized to be useful,
Aren't reading the mind of the people,
All those who succeed are not intelligent,
All those who are intelligent are not successful,
All flowers that bloomed will not become seeds,
All those seeds not produce flowers indeed,
All those who succeed in life are not intelligent,
All those who are intelligent are not successful, .

Intelligent Discourse!

liberation...
intelligent discourse,
opposing sides presented

with respectful candor.
the willingness to listen,
and to hear!

the unified decision to change,
evolving, as fire and water
coexist!

the bridge between us
built by both sides!
the first steps in crossing....

intelligent discourse!

Shed Under Tree

I am misunderstood by my actions
I can visibly read their reactions
Neither can I claim that good
Not I perform poorly or that bad

May be some other definition is awaited
They have always laughed at me and taunted
How could I find out the reason?
As no one is willing to consider me as good person

I would love prove myself very right
Even I shall offer to go for right cause and fight
I am picking little clues about their irritation
I think I am poorly painted with that relation

May be I am little hasty
May be my words are not that sweet or tasty
From the beginning I have lacked the politics
In today’s date it is considered as very basis

I have fewer friends and more critics
They are intelligent people with good sense of clerics
They want everything to be presented in precise terms
This attitude only fails me and turns against

Sometimes I wish for their funeral
Join in procession and offer tribute of floral
But certainly that position may be taken over by somebody else
The position will remain same and not changed hence

Person can remain greedy and self centered
He will be respected and good position offered
People respect and favor the favorable wind
Where is the time with them for true things to find?

I wish to confine and stay alone
But not waiting for times to be gone
As it will amount to be wasting time and be selective
God will not forgive me fore remaining inactive

Life is not meant for simply eating and spending
Animals do the same and thus simply ending
It must be offered not fully but to lesser degree
Like offering shed as is done by giant tree

Life must have some kind of orientation
It need not be puzzled with many questions
It has very short and limited duration
If we can use it for strengthening the relation

I Hear The Annual Rhetoric

My ears I keep open.
And I hear the annual rhetoric.
Spoken by some in glorious tones...
About uplifting the quality of life of those,
Of our brothers and sisters...
Who have done their best,
Avoiding to get stuck...
In cracks wrapped around loopholes.
The ones...
Many have accepted to address their unhappiness.
With a lack of discipline and purpose self confessed.

I hear the annual rhetoric.

Yet a slow slipping done,
Into a fissure has grown to become an abyss.
And 'annually' I've been approached and asked...
To express an intelligent response about this!

However...
As I have aged to confront my own obstacles,
I have forced myself not to dismiss.
With a determination to calm my outrage,
With a mind blessed to be at peace...
With the unballing of my fists!

I wonder,
Why you request me to give you an intelligent response?
Concerning an activity that has taken place,
And achieved totally on the merits of conscious ignorance.
Served and accepted as if this was a blessing,
Many wish and want to keep.
As those slandered and defamed were chased away.

I wonder,
Why you request me to give you an intelligent response?
Did you expect something glowing and profound?
Full of reflective self righteousness?
We are all in this abyss.
I just prefer to keep reaching,
To experience the higher consciousness of it!
