Here is the secret of inspiration: Tell yourself that thousands and tens of thousands of people, not very intelligent and certainly no more intelligent than the rest of us, have mastered problems as difficult as those that now baffle you.

There is no progress whatever. Everything is just the same as it was thousands, and tens of thousands, of years ago. The outward form changes. The essence does not change.

Competent AND Competitive
People given positions,
Would like to believe themselves...
As being intelligent.
To then be compensated,
For the ease to be manipulated.
And accepted to play on the team.
Those who are intelligent,
Are rarely offered a second interview.
Since anyone in a position to hire,
Would find it difficult to fire...
Someone with an opinion,
Who proves to be competent AND competitive.

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 05
The country is adorned by intelligent and the religion by virtuous men. Padshahs stand more in need of the advice of intelligent men than intelligent men of the proximity of padshahs.
If thou wilt listen to advice, padshah,
There is none better in all books than this:
‘Entrust a business to an intelligent man
Although it may not be his occupation.’
There Are Thousands And Thousands
there are thousands and thousands of poems
written everyday in this world where we, whether we like it or not,
still continue living, breathing, writing, sighing,
whatever that we do, singing, bathing, playing, mourning,
there are thousands and thousands of poems
thousands of us, doing the same boring things in this world,
you are one of us, we are us, us, us, us,
thousands, and trillions, we are us,
despite, i have my ears for you, my eyes,
all for you.

While we have entertained the contention that a deed may make more propaganda than hundreds of speeches, thousands of articles, and tens of thousands of pamphlets, we have held that an arbitrary act of violence will not necessarily have such an effect.

Thousand got away to other countries; thousands returned to Spain tempted by false promises of kindness. By the tens of thousands, these Spaniards died of neglect in the concentration camps.

Faery Song
Sung by the people of Faery over Diarmuid and Grania, in their bridal sleep under a Cromlech.
We who are old, old and gay,
O so old!
Thousands of years, thousands of years,
If all were told:
Give to these children, new from the world,
Silence and love;
And the long dew-dropping hours of the night,
And the stars above:
Gie to these children, new from the world,
Rest far from men.
Is anything better, anything better?
Tell us it then:
Us who are old, old and gay,
O so old!
Thousands of years, thousands of years,
If all were told.

Who wants the intelligent?
The intelligent one is ungrateful.
His eyes are on steps ahead
Not on the ones trodden.
The intelligent one is unreliable.
His eyes are on the steps ahead
Not on the one he is on.
He reaches the end by bending the means..
Who wants intelligent people?

We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on.

at Marina Beach, Chennai..
silvery sands of marina,
glitter under the moon light,
shine under the sun light.
The eagerness in waves,
touch her quite often,
unconditionally, unopposed.
The cool breeze that flows
through the sultry body,
makes the human possessed.
beautiful shores of intelligent marina,
not for sale and not for bare and bars,
though violent waves hurt her sometimes.
Thousands of hearts united,
on the fine sands of Marina, but
thousands buried underneath, unnoticed.

Intelligent Stupidity?
'Intelligent Stupidty' are we not?
weapons we make to kill with one shot?
Intelligent Stupidity is when technology
is not up with our spirituality.
You can be as intelligent as you want,
but what good is it if it destroys what you got?

When I have a difficult subject before me — when I find the road narrow, and can see no other way of teaching a well established truth except by pleasing one intelligent man and displeasing ten thousand fools — I prefer to address myself to the one man, and to take no notice whatever of the condemnation of the multitude; I prefer to extricate that intelligent man from his embarrassment and show him the cause of his perplexity, so that he may attain perfection and be at peace.

For every living creature that succeeds in getting a footing in life there are thousands or millions that perish. There is an enormous random scattering for every seed that comes to life. This does not remind us of intelligent human design. "If a man in order to shoot a hare, were to discharge thousands of guns on a great moor in all possible directions; if in order to get into a locked room, he were to buy ten thousand casual keys, and try them all; if, in order to have a house, he were to build a town, and leave all the other houses to wind and weather - assuredly no one would call such proceedings purposeful and still less would anyone conjecture behind these proceedings a higher wisdom, unrevealed reasons, and superior prudence."

Blood River (In Answer To Don Mattera)
Maybe forever the blood river remains red
as a token of the thousands killed,
who came to destroy, plunder and pillage
while they madly were beating their war drums
like they did to Piet Retief and his men,
but by His almighty hand God intervened,
helped a tiny band of civilian men
with flintlock weapons to defeat
the tens of thousands who rushed with assegais
and killing batons upon them
and when the British army faced the same enemy
years later with Martini-Henri rifles at Isandhlwana
and with many more men formed an unbreakable square,
that square buckled, was swept away
while death came to them
but still thousands of white people in South Africa
are raped, tortured to death and plundered
as if barbarianism still remains,
as if a pact with the almighty God
means nothing, while black men
trample the freedom of others
and rob what they do possess.

Reality of life...
All those minding the attitude of multitude,
Aren't dragged into the den of solitude,
All those who are at the den of solitude,
Aren't minding the attitude of multitude,
All those who learn to read the mind of people,
Aren't energized to be useful,
All those who are energized to be useful,
Aren't reading the mind of the people,
All those who succeed are not intelligent,
All those who are intelligent are not successful,
All flowers that bloomed will not become seeds,
All those seeds not produce flowers indeed,
All those who succeed in life are not intelligent,
All those who are intelligent are not successful, .
