Give Them No Credit
Maybe it is believed,
Those who have achieved success...
Seek attention,
From those of mediocre ambitions?
'That doesn't make sense!
None of it.'
Well...
Perhaps it is perceived,
Their expressions of jealousy and envy...
Will attract those of peace of mind,
To want to be around them all the time.
'That sounds just as sick as your first explanation.'
Then maybe they are just crazed.
And they are given too much attention.
Perhaps you are 'feeling' them with empathy...
Not realizing insanity has already smothered them enough.
And you are trying to find an excuse,
That gives them a purpose for their existence.
'There has to be a reason why God made pests!
Something my mind has not been able to digest! '
You should give your mind a rest.

In 'My' World I Am The Do Do
In 'my' world...
I am the 'do-do'.
No gifts of grief,
Will anyone leave.
No complaints of pain...
Or headaches do I accept,
For an exchange of my peace of mind.
There was a time I would drop,
My priorities.
To sit and listen to someone moan.
To show them I was there,
And they were not alone!
There was a time I would stop,
In my tracks.
To carry a load,
Someone else had on their back.
To give unconditional friendship.
Without a thought about that!
Then one day I was in need.
Knowing in my heart...
Someone would come to my rescue.
I damn near was crawling on my knees.
Until I witnessed myself...
Being made to play the fool.
With folks caring less,
What it was I was going through!
In 'my' world...
I am the 'do-do'.
To stink when I wish.
And caring less who likes it.
When I move,
My eyes are focused.
With my needs to meet first.

Have None Of It
If anyone that has been invited in your space,
Disrespects you and your space while they are in it...
They need to leave.
If your peace of mind has been threatened,
By anyone you have let in...
They need to leave.
Especially if they feel that comfortable,
To upset your environment...
With an immaturity their insecurities,
Are focused to set upon you,
With a wish to bring an intent to cause you grief.
They need to leave.
And you without apology must do this!
Request without attitude and insist.
Since folks come to spew their venom,
To enhance their own lack of peace...
Missing within them.
Clear the air and sweep away this sickness.
Do it quick.
Have none of it.
It has to leave!
This polluted air shared,

Immortal
What is immortality to me?
It's a chance again to breathe so free,
never to be inundated with worldly pain,
always to know how to remain
at peace with myself no matter where
and speak no words except for prayer.
We people of this earth cannot conceive
and probably never will believe
in a warless existence that comes alive
where peace and love for all does thrive.
We have walked this earth too many times.

You can not convince those,
