Cognition Restarted

With a cognition restarted,
After being away and in between selective
Thoughts and memories...
People are now finding a desire to rally around,
Responsibility!

With cognition restarted,
Accountability has ignited...
With a hope it is not too late to reinstate reality.
Or some possible remnant of it.

And those now claiming,
To have ownership of the tones detected in their voices...
Are professing to take back what belongs to them.
When they are the ones who sold themselves out...
To parade around in falsities.
Isn't that how all of this came to be?

With a cognition restarted,
After being away and in between selective
Thoughts and memories...
People are now finding a desire to rally around,
Responsibility!

As if awarding a vacant space to an urban artist to paint...
Signifies an acknowledgement,
As to who is called upon first...
To disguise a trench one has dug!
After using dollars and cents to pour cement,
To abandon as whims go mothballed.
At the expense of those who have forgotten,
Just how appalled they were.

Now the initiators of greed return!
Hoping to qualify for funding,
By claiming to provide a life experience to the locals.
Recycling a very familiar setting.
And implementing the same routines.
To establish an agency for feeding those less fortunate.

But though cognition is not an element of mental action, nor even in any real sense of the word an aspect of it, the distinction of cognition and conation has if properly defined a definite value.

It Is Commendable of Him

It is commendable of him...
Professing to take full responsibility,
For the actions of thieves initiating disasters.

He wants to prove to the majority,
That he is an able and confident leader.
But those accustomed to being self obsessed...
Are often discovered,
Leading themselves into their own distresses.

Only to lay accountability and their shame,
At the feet of one who is brave enough...
To take responsibility.

But those observing in admiration,
Empathize with the foolish act one takes.
Knowing that true leadership...
People are not familiar with nor appreciate.

There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware of a truth, yet until we have felt its force, it is not ours. To the cognition of the brain must be added the experience of the soul.

Like A Pack Of Rabid Wolves

The only people attempting to get something for free,
Are those blocking the road...
Preventing the ones from claiming,
What rightfully belongs to them.

And they are the ones who are shunned.
While those of greed feed their gluttony selfishly.
Feeding like a pack of rabid wolves,
To move on to other territories....
In deceiving discreet.

Rare Thoughts that Never Go away

Has anyone out there reading this
Ever thought about that one person that is always in your thoughts and they never go away?
Well many of us out there are too scared of what or whom we miss
And then there are some of us that can't stop thinking of them throughout the day
Well I am this kind of person that just met a person not long ago
And I am here to say that my thoughts are of this person that I really admire
There are so many people that say how you can feel that way about someone who you barely know
I simply tell them that I trust in the Lord's every desire
Even though finding that one kind of person in everyone's life is rare
Who is always willing to listen and be gentle and kind
I hope that everyone can find this type of person that seems to always be there
Because I want her to know this is why she is always on my mind
And this is why these thoughts never go away
Because of the friendship that has come from the Heaven Above
This is why I am glad, for these thoughts are here to stay
And hopefully those thoughts and feelings will turn from friendship to passionate love

Corridors Of Our Memories

Down the corridors of our memories,
we stroll whenever we can,
finding snippets of our life left behind.
Loves that we wanted but lost,
heartaches that fell upon us
in those long ago days.
We stroll down the corridors
looking for things we forgot
finding little pockets
that we had forgotten about.
Little treasure that made our life full
now only a memory from a faraway hill
that we once climbed,
but will never climb again.
Faces flicker passed as if on some movie screen
of people from our past never to be seen again.
All of them deposited along
the corridors of our memories
where we like to stroll along
every now and then.

Selective Memories

Those who believe they have feelings felt,
That should be given more of a priority
Over other human beings.
While they believe it is okay,
To do unto others as they please
As if blessed with the getting,
Of an attention?

Well
When I was raise,
The phrase that still applies
And has not faded away,
Do Unto Others As You Expect Them,
To Do Unto You~
Needs not to be updated,
To be re-clarified with an interpretation.
It seems to have a snug fit.
No matter what the language.

Some folks in the process of their doing,
Seem to have selective memories
When it comes to their intentional,
Misdeeds done.

And others in their forgiving,
Aren't so blessed to be possessed
With a forgetting.
They do not have that
As a selective choice from which to choose,
To erase from vivid memories.

For What Use Is Time

when the mouth has forgotten
the shape of a smile on the lips
when the tongue has forgotten
the sweet taste of love
when the body has buried the
memories of desire on the
graveyards of boring routines
when everything in us is nothing
but the rush the haste in meaningless
daily buses and bustling streets
for what use is time & space with us?

Waiting to Dispense a Benefit of Doubt

Doesn't it seem as if those with selective memories,
Are always quick to tell their versions of truth...
With few facts involved.

Accusatory and defensive are their most common traits.
And there to appease a fence sitting,
When confronted in debate.

Out of both sides of their mouths expect anything.
But honesty is not one of them.
Those with selective memories have no clue what honesty means.
It is just not in their natures.

Hopefully you are not one patiently in quiet waiting,
To dispense a benefit of doubt to eventually see wasted.
I only have a few of those 'I-told-you-so' left to spare.

Thoughts and Visions

Thoughts and visions pass my way
in the twilight of my years.
I hold tightly to all of them
and try to hold back tears.

I long for them to never leave
and escape my memory.
I take great pleasure in them all
and never want to be

unable to keep them tucked away
and faced with vacant space.
Thoughts and visions are what I need.
They're like a warm embrace.

Memories of days that brought me you
and love was there for the taking.
Memories of nights that lingered
when love was in the making.
Memories of birthing both my sons
and experiencing the pain of joy.
Memories of the lyrical sounds
that were infused inside my soul.
And memories of sun filled days
to take away the cold.

I could go on and on with these
as my years do pass.
And express my thanks for all of them
and pray they always last.

Bullets And Kisses

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten.

Heat seeking missile are only sent destroy.
Man less drones are deployed.
Books to a religion burned.
Peace will be destroyed.
It is impossible to avoid.
Unrest on steroids.

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten.

You want to trust and be trusted.
But you have no understanding of a culture.
You disrespect it everyday.
You create martyrs by your mistakes.
With every action you make it just escalates.
Fear spreads like fire in a very drought ridden forest.
Let me ask you how do you plan on exactly putting out?

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten.

You must get out.
It was never your responsibility.
We are not the divinity.
We are not here to save you.
With so much blood on our hands how can we still be wearing that cape?
Do we not understand what is at stake?
We just continue to create pure hate.

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten.

Greed is why we are sending our soldiers away from home.
Controlling chaos.
A symphony of stealing while their not looking.
If we are their long enough soon or later we will corrupt.
And that´s just little messed up.

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten.

Slavery can be bought and sold.
Back door deals.
A fake government at least thats the way the people feel.
And are they really that off target?
After all they are the are people.
A pulse beating, breathing life into their own country.

My bullets are kisses.
Let me send them to everyone of you.
Let them poison the very essence of your soul.
Let me claim another victim.
Let me dig another grave of the forgotten.
Memories dead, stale, and rotten...,
Yes they are already dead, stale, and rotten.

Feeling Abandon and Lost Inside

The first thing that I should do is look in the mirror and say what is my name,
This is one reason why I feel so abandon and lost inside,
There is times that I cannot even remember who's my family or friends,
Yes, if you had this feeling lost inside then you would see what it feels like to be me,
As I think of this tears come rolling down my eyes,
Because I feel like my life is hidden away is a deep dark disguise.
Having these feelings or thoughts give me a roller coaster of emotions,
As it makes feel like a freak or a failure or like a creature feature.
Forgetting the memories of my life is hard, and it hurts,

I hope that if you are someone that reads this that you take in what I am trying to say,
Those memories are the ways in life that we will always remember when it is to laugh, cry or smile.
There probably will be a time in our life when those thoughts will be gone.
So please try to take in any and all the memories of your life,
Because as I said earlier it will hard to remember those precious moments,
It is hard, but for me to remember things I have to write my feelings and memories down into words.
For me to even remember life.

Thank you, Lord for giving me this chance to still live.

I'm Guided By...Life!

My needs are overheating and exceeds excessive feeding.
Yes my needs are overheating and exceeds excessive feeding.

Tonight,
I'm guided by...
Life!
I'm driven by...
Desire!
And finding it right,
Tonight.

Surrender,
I might...
To your delight.
And excited I am...
With you,
Tonight!
And...
Forever.

My needs are overheating and exceeds excessive feeding.
Yes my needs are overheating and exceeds excessive feeding.

Yes my needs are overheating and exceeds excessive feeding.
Yes my needs are overheating.
Yes my needs are overheating...

My needs are heating.
Yes my needs are overheating.

I'm guded by...

Deaf City

We cannot think alike,
and we cannot listen together.
The words change the colours
and the colours let go their charm.
A billowing smoke
fills the space between us.
We are searching
our destinies amidst the ruins
and life hangs like an empty frame.

The jaundiced view,
mars the beauty of cognition.
I stick to my long path,
though journey is tough.
The immaculate space fills my lungs.
I feel the thick, stellar thoughts
and climb over the contradictions.
Balance breaks, becomes the faint window.

The disorder lies within.
Green moments evaporate
I wither up in veins.
Heart misses the beat.
Standing in dark I hear
the sounds of a deaf city.
My eyes search,
the letterprint of a tranquil childhood.

Light of the Fire

As the daytime sun draws closer to rest
The light still lingers
The loving heat of a sun loved bliss turning cold
My heat refrained by my fire

My fire now alight
The crackle and snap of the wood so burnt
It provides my heat that the day sun will not
My friend in this increasing darkness
My companion whilst I tread upon my thoughts and memories
My item of the real world in my abundance of life

I see in my mind a many things lit by my fire
My friends the ones whom shall never judge me only love me
My partner the one who I shall always love and hope she does in return
My family particular to my cousins so young and unprepared
Waiting for me to help them through
And also my enemies the people who would hurt me and I would be happy to hurt in return
But I smile upon them, for if not for them how would I know what trust is

All my thoughts relate to a fire as for one spark and the whole thing can be burnt
But without the burning of flames ignited how would I live my Life?
Time to return now to tend my fire large it has grown such has life
Both need tending to see them continue and to keep me warm and satisfied for at least a bit longer.
