Can't Get a Night of Peaceful Sleep
Isn't it much easier,
To sit back and critique?
Than it is,
To have your neck on the chopping block...
And your name going defenseless,
On the streets?
To be tossed about,
Like hair dropping out.
From an ill fitted weave.
And flying through the air,
With the greatest of ease.
Without anyone to retrieve it,
In the free flowing breeze.
Isn't it fun to enjoy with everyone...
Picking on people behind their backs.
And when in public they are seen...
You snub them when they speak.
Knowing there is no reason,
For you to be that mean.
And when adverse reactions,
Come to confront you.
Isn't it wonderful to know,
Those who choose to do it...
Were friends you knew who screwed you too.
In ways you reminisce...
You made a choice to do this.
But now a forgiveness wished,
That your feelings could be spared.
But no one is there,
To show a caring that is shared.
Isn't it much easier,
To sit back and critique?
Than it is,
To have your neck on the chopping block...
And your name going defenseless,
On the streets?
And no one is concerned,
Your lessons have been learned.
Leaving you to toss and turn...
From nights spent trying to get some sleep!
Haunted by those memories,
Of how you hurt innocent people so deep.
And you're left alone to moan.
To do your boo hooing on your own.
With an empathy felt,
That attracts no help...
To come soon to relieve.

With a Weakness of Mind and Physicality
Rising above criticism and self critique,
May be a little easier...
For someone accustomed,
To living a life that is public.
And not discreet.
Some habitually hide themselves,
Under layers of choice and voices selected.
And choose words heard,
That flatter as preferred.
It takes courage to step out in front.
To confront opposition and be blunt.
People who fear to have their feelings hurt,
Are usually those,
Who spread gossip with a thirst.
Rising above criticism and self critique,
May be a little easier...
For someone accustomed,
To living a life that is public.

With A Picking Up Of Pieces
Betting to get even,
When the odds are not for all.
Makes not a bit of sense,
As many tears fall.
People wish to leap,
When sometimes it's best to crawl.
And a learning to make peace,
With a picking up of pieces.
People wish to win,
To go shopping at a mall.
Without a learning to make peace.
Or a picking up of pieces.
People want to make their rules,
And break every law.
And not learn a single thing,
About the picking up of pieces.
Losers choose to keep their status as big fools.
With disturbing of the peace,
And a dropping of their pieces.
Losers choose to keep their status as big fools.
With disturbing of the peace,
And a dropping of their pieces.
With a boo hooing done,
Or a booing who they choose.
With a leaving of no peace.
Or a picking up of pieces.
With a boo hooing done,
And loudly done too!
With no peace released,
Or a picking up of pieces.
Boooo...
Boo hooing is what they do.
With no peace.
Or a picking up of pieces.
Boooo...
Boo hooing is what they choose.
With no peace.

Did You Pass or Fail?
Why is it easier to be arrogant?
Why is it easier to be cruel?
Why is it easier to be evil?
Why is it easier to hurt?
Why is it easier to an asshole?
Why is it easier to victimize?
Why is it easier to abuse?
Why is it easier to use?
Why is it easier to be greedy?
Why is it easier to be selfish?
Why is it easier to be self centered?
Why is it easier to steal?
Why is it easier to manipulate?
Why is it easier to lie?
My thoughts is it is a test to all man kind
Did you pass or fail?

It Was Easier To Hurt Him
(jerry ragavoy / bert russell)
I should have told him
That I needed him
When I had the chance
And now hes left me
And its all over
Goodbye romance
I should have told him then
Over and over again
That I love him
But, it was easier to hurt him, ooh
It was easier to hurt him, ooh
It was easier to hurt him
Thats what I thought
Was being so smart
The way I cheated him
And mistreated him
How could I forget?
I was so sure that he
Would always trust in me
Oh, that Id take a bet, no, no, no
Hed never say goodbye
But here all alone am i
He is gone now, ahh, cause
It was easier to hurt him
What could I do?
(it was) easier to hurt him
I should have known better
Thats what I thought
Was being so smart, oh, oh
It was easier to hurt him
I need him so bad
(it was) easier to hurt him
What did I do?
(it was) easier to hurt him
I should have known better
(it was) easier to hurt him
I need him so bad

Foolish Rush to Pass Our Judgements
Wouldn't it be great,
If we could reach back in time...
And replace our decisions made.
With a clarity now so obvious,
That what was chosen to dismiss...
And the 'who' and the 'why'
For our foolish rush,
To pass our judgements...
Have no intentions to express an empathy.
None to be received in our direction.
The pain,
Is unbearable!
Isn't it?
Now many of us sit with feelings,
Of fading arrogance.
While realizing an ignorance displayed,
With horrific public temperments...
As if self centered children!
And fuming with such viciousness,
Consciously directed to 'that'
Which unknowingly to 'us' had our backs.
That are now up against the wall.
As some choose to wear Foster Grants,
To hide the tears falling from their eyes.
And those who knew of our activities done,
Now shun 'us'!
With a wish not to look in our direction.
Those kind of lessons learned forever scar.
Leaving the ones who have chosen to masquerade,
In the wrong parades selected...
To flaunt irreplaceable misdeeds.
Pleading for an opportunity,
To correct what has been done!
And anyone who has ever done this before,
Knows how difficult it is...
To retrieve and collect thrown confetti!
The quality of it with a freshness maintained,
Will never be the same.

When You Ask Me to Critique
When you ask me to critique,
With an opinion that is honest.
Don't expect me to deceive you...
With a sweetened tongue.
And the taste I leave you...
Hints of a bit of salt.
As you prepare to deliver to me pepper.
When you ask me to critique...
I go for the meat.
Not the heat,
When one may be wishing to be honey dipped.
Or perhaps thrown a kiss!
When you ask me to critique,
There is no sweetness dripped!
Unless the offering is fantastic.
And hits a spot I can not resist...
But sit,
And enjoy every nibble of it!
When you ask me to critique.
That's what I will do!
But I rather not to.
Since like you...
I don't enjoy everything I am served.

See Yourself
Its easier to tell a lie than it is to tell the truth
Its easier to kill a fly than it is to turn it loose
Its easier to criticize somebody else
Than to see yourself
Its easier to give a sigh and be like all the rest
Who stand around and crucify you while you do your best
Its easier to see the books upon the shelf
Than to see yourself
Its easier to hurt someone and make them cry
Than it is to dry their eyes
I got tired of fooling around with other peoples lies
Rather Id find someone thats true
Its easier to say you wont than it is to feel you can
Its easier to drag your feet than it is to be a man
Its easier to look at someone eless wealth
Than to see yourself

Drenching Nights Spent In Tears
How can you say goodbye?
Knowing my heart floods,
From drenching nights spent in tears.
How can you do this,
With your touch so missed.
What has been done,
To cause us to split.
How can you tell your friends I'm cruel?
When the gossip on the streets,
Depicts me as your fool.
You've used me as a tool.
A toy you've cast aside.
And here I find myself,
Crying alone.
When it is you that has destroyed,
Both your dignity and pride!
You couldn't even keep that,
For me to reminisce.
How can you say goodbye?
Knowing my heart floods,
From drenching nights spent in tears.
Knowing someone will hurt you much more.
More than you believed,
I could.
Would,
And did!
What kind of pain did you run from me to numb?
What kind of hurt is there for you to feel,
That has not to me already come?
What is this that has been done?
Who interfered and inflicted us with this for fun?

Mesmerized By That Saccharine
You may be mesmerized by that saccharine,
And over-the-top pre-sweetened presentation.
So alluring and false.
But not a tooth in my mouth has been decayed,
By chopping down on what is rotten.
I've already had my share and taste of it!
That's why I offer no opinion,
To anyone who believes...
What they are eating is delicious.
Since I at one time thought the same thing...
Until I discovered that addiction,
Was the reason I stayed sick!
And I wish you knew how much it hurts me,
To see you defenseless licking your lips!

One-Eighty By Summer
Come on just say it,
You need me like a bad habit,
One that leaves you defenseless, dependent, and alone.
Come on just say it (Are you afraid to),
You need me like a bad habit (Say what you want to, tell me you want to),
One that leaves you defenseless, dependent, and alone (Are you afraid to say what you want to, tell me you want to).
Well I hold my tongue use it to assess,
The damage from way back when it mattered,
But nothing seems important anymore,
Were just protecting ourselves from our self,
And I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back down),
I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back down),
I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back),
I dont think Ill ever come back
Are you ashamed to say what you want to tell me you want to.
Are you ashamed to say what you want to tell me you want to.
(Come on just say it) Are you ashamed to (Come on just say it) say what you want to tell me you want to.
(Come on just say it) Are you ashamed to (Come on just say it) say what you want to tell me you want to.
Im making the difference,
It just seems pointless,
Well Ill be obvious,
Thats got out of focus,
Why cant you just be happy,
Why cant you just be happy.
And I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back down),
I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back down),
I dont think Ill ever come back down (I dont think Ill ever come back),
I dont think Ill ever come back...
(Just come back {over and over, about 15 times})
Just come on just say it,
Come on just say it,
Well Ill just say it,
Ill just say it,
I need you defenseless, dependent and alone.
(Just come back {over and over, about 9 times})
She says live up to your first impression,
Well my best side was your worst invention,
In case you live without the intention,
In case you live without the intention.
(Just come back {over and over, about 8 times})
She says live up to your first impression,
Well my best side was your worst invention,
In case you live without the intention,
In case you live without the intention.
She says live up to your first impression (Come on, just say it),
Well my best side was your worst invention (Come on, just say it),
Why cant you live without the intention (I need you defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you love without the intention (alone).
She says live up to your first impression (I just say it),
Well my best side was your worst invention (I just say it),
Why cant you live without the intention (I need you defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you love without the intention (Alone),
Why cant you love (Defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you love (Defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you lovewithoutlovewithout (Defenseless, dependent, defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you love (Defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you love (Defenseless, dependent),
Why cant you lovewithoutlovewithout (Defenseless, dependent, defenseless, dependent).

Applauding A Boo
Vegetables on the chopping board
Inaugurate a television recital..
I chop chop
Recital going on
The lady joins me harmoniously
Chopping, chopping, chopping
Chopping the brinjal, raga
Potato, tala, onion, lyric
Her vocal chords strain to wriggle
The accompaniments, onion shed laughing tears
Dissonant, discordant, cacophony
Screaches to countless decibels
I'm chopping lady's finger
My finger weeps red

Devil's Night
a lust for blood a horrors night
a longing for the taste of innocent
flesh demons come out to play
when the nights hour is none
let the rest less rise and roam
through the streets of the living
let all awake hear the screams
as blood stains the nights streets
reward the wicked with a personal
lick of the tongue down the neck
as the blood filled vains pop in your
mouth feel alive again as your thrist
for blood is lifted
feed my children feed rip the life out of
the living let all your my children feed
allow the living to fear when the nights
none let only the wandering souls of the
dead roam these streets
cause tonight we feed like
kings on to the flesh of the living
let all a sleep awake to the horried streets
an when the nights bright let the
shattered memories of former friends
mothers, children, father be seen in a pool
of there own blood as we rest to return again
when the clock strights 3am and the night
becomes none =] hahaha until tomorrow my pretties
until tomorrow

Had I Knew Ya!
I would not had wished you break your neck.
Had I knew ya!
I would have given you much more respect.
Had I knew ya.
With the best...
Had I knew ya!
Of sincerity one gets.
I would not had wished you break your neck.
Had I knew ya!
I would have given you much more respect.
Had I knew ya.
With the best...
Had I knew ya!
Of sincerity one gets.
You can bet...
My foul mouth would be kept,
Under lock and key and silent breath!
You can bet...
Knowing you don't annoy!
You can bet...
Knowing you don't annoy!
I would not had wished you break your neck.
Had I knew ya!
I would have given you much more respect.

Blocked
Stuck again
The block is back
Stopping the flow of imagination
And ideas
“The writers block”
Solid and thick as lead
Heavy as a planet
Just landed and is up to its old tricks
My thoughts crash into it and can’t be set free
Why now, when it is crucial must you block me
Come back in an hour or two
You’ll be appreciated more then
These stories are good
The poems aren’t dead
Come on you must see them inside my head
You’re making my pen run out of ink
Having to cross out thoughts and feelings on this page
I guess I ll be stuck with the block until it leaves
Chuckling with glee
Knowing I couldn’t finish the work in time
That was supposed to be about me

Just Don't Find 'Anything' to Pick
If you want to critique,
At least make some sense of it.
Just don't find 'anything' to pick.
With beliefs you'll get a piece,
Of public attention.
That's if you want to critique!
If not...
Make your comments less dissective.
With a negativity,
That leaves your critique...
And your intentions suspected.

Get Up! Get Over It
Do not seek me for a caring done,
To compare to your own feelings...
You now experience with a deepened,
Feeling of being left distraught.
I admit I did suffer from your indifference then.
With a secret wish,
You felt what I had felt but you quickly dismissed.
But I am not the one to mend with a healing to end,
Those memories that trouble your consciousness.
I could only wish you what you then wished me...
Your 'good luck' absent of any empathy touched.
With a toss of a thoughtless blurted to me in my agony!
'Get up! Get over it. Life sucks.'
Well...
Get up.
Get over it.
Life sucks.
