Been There. Done That. Too Often

There is a reason why,
I do not express a desire...
To know what it is you think.

'What is it? '

I observe it around you.
And as of today,
You have never mentioned it...
As a priority or even a concern.
And you should.

'Why haven't you brought this to my attention? '

If what is obvious to me,
Has not yet dawned on your mind to see...
Why would you believe a wasting of my time,
Is on my agenda to get you to open 'your' eyes?

Been there.
Done that.
Too often.

Today?
My anger has developed into amusement.

It's Music Time

It's Music Time - what shall I do?
It's Music Time today.
I haven't really thought it through
And it's Music Time today.
It doesn't have to last too long
This Music Time today.
We haven't finished our number work
We could miss Music Time today.
But Johnny and Jane will go berserk
If there's no Music Time today.
We could always sing that assembly song
At Music Time today.
I know they'll want to get the instruments out
At Music Time today.
But can I stand all that crashing about?
When it's Music Time today.
Maybe we could take turns to play?
At Music Time today.
And if there's too much noise we'll just put them away
At Music Time today.

The Balancing Of Sanity

There was a time,
When I would lay with mind awake...
And eyes open to contemplate,
My favorite seasons.
And with each one...
I would review what I had done.

And for no reason I would get up,
Before dawn would arrive...
To begin pacing the floor,
With a thinking of what chores I should do.
And which to ignore.
There is so much inside my home,
Seeking an attention given to come.

I then begin to explore,
The kind of day the Sun starts to etch.
And how I can avoid,
What in my head I should do next.
And if a cloudless sky,
Communicates to me...
That I should do what's best.
Well...
Who am I to argue?

I pray, exercise, shower and shave.
I may nibble something to eat.
To then acknowledge,
I will not waste a beautiful day...
Attempting to convince myself,
That a doing of chores had been a priority.
Especially if the Sun has invited me to go outside.

I am easily persuaded,
When Mother Nature invites.
And 'Mama' knows how I can be enticed.

'But,
Your chores?
What about them? '

Oh...
It's 'you'?
The good deed doer side of my mind!
Trying to inflict a sense of responsibility!

I contemplated them.
Isn't that enough?
I am not seeking to be rational,
With reasonable actions to master.

Nor,
Will I be bored today with the balancing of sanity.
I'm not going to give time for a scheduling of that.
Not today.
I am going to relax.
So go away.

Sorry

Todays a reason for living
Todays the blood from a stone
Todays a light from a candle
Helping us to find our way home
Today we carry each other
Today the past is a freak
Todays a time for forgiveness
You were never that good to me
(welcome to this world of mine)
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Yeah
Todays tasting the honey
Todays the strike of a match
And todays the lines in the pavement
Helping us to find our way back
Todays the crosses we carry
Todays the strength that we need
And todays the hand of an angel
You were not the kind to believe
(welcome to this world of mine)
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Yeah
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
Oh what a day, oh what a day, oh my god
And oh my god, and oh my god, yeah
Today we carry each other
Today we do what we should
Todays a time for forgiving
Today I wish I could...
Im sorry, I cant lie
Im wasting too much time
Drowning, Ive been blind
But Ive opened up my eyes
Sorry, I cant lie
So I just say goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye, yeah
Another bye, goodbye, goodbye
Another bye, goodbye, bye

The Puppeteer

Oh master puppeteer
What is it this time.
What's on the agenda today.
Into the fray.
With no delay
Pulling strings that cause so much dismay.

It is still the cost is on our shoulders.
Leader of nothing.
With words of speeches that have no meaning.
They fell for it hook line and sinker.
Now it is time to pull off the shroud.
Show them the monster I really am.
Satan aint got sh! * on him.

Oh master puppeteer
What is it this time.
What's on the agenda today.
Into the fray.
With no delay
Pulling strings that cause so much dismay.

They say we love him.
But it was his false claims and ideas.
Given up as soon as he got in.
A solution to a problem we created.
How come now we feel so jaded.
We were once again manipulated.

Oh master puppeteer
What is it this time.
What's on the agenda today.
Into the fray.
With no delay
Pulling strings that cause so much dismay.

Promise broken, dreams stolen.
All by this man who rides in on a white horse.
He looks promising lets keep him for another term.
Oh where do we sign.
He says there on the dotted lines.
He claims he's the ender of all suffering.
And I say I haven't seen this yet.
I feel so abandon by this master.

Oh master puppeteer
What is it this time.
What's on the agenda today.
Into the fray.
With no delay
Pulling strings that cause so much dismay.

Girls Day

Today is girls day
Let us observe today
Today's girl is tomorrow's mother
Let us live in peace together
Let us worship mother
She is the creator
Today is girl's day
And you can not say
Today is not auspicious day
You must say
We are lucky enough
To observe today
Let us love girl
Let us take care of her
Girl is the mother
Of future mankind
She is our mind
She is our strength
She is our mind
She is our heart
She is our love
Let us love girls
Today is girls day.

With a Choice to Keep the Value

Why is it important to you now,
To hear my voice?
When it was you,
Who made not listening to me...
Your choice.

Why is my comprehension mentioned,
To be a priority of your concern?
I'm well aware of those lessons I've learned.
And few of them taught I seek to be repeated.
You brought to me then an acknowledgement.
And I did not hesitate,
To connect that to my common sense.

I received it and I heeded.

Why is it important to you now,
To hear my voice.
To review conversations,
I attempted to make...
That came to rest on deaf ears?

Perhaps there is a clarity,
Not understood before...
But overnight your eyes opened.
And a clarity that could have been yours...
Has now between your ears appeared?

Go ahead and say,
What you believe today is okay.
However,
If I should abruptly walk away...
Think of it as not being disrespectful.
But a sign of the times,
When one finds peace of mind.
With a choice to keep the value of it protected.

Think of my getting away from you,
In that perspective!
A treasured gift one gets...
To never be neglected.

Affirmations(2002-2004)

Today, I will get up before my alarm
Today, I won't close my eyes until dusk
Today, I will not get a speeding ticket
Today, I will count this day as a first
Today, I will enjoy the life that has been left to me
Today, I won't frown over the may-have-beens
Today, I won't cry over the should-have-beens
Today, I won't wonder about the could-have-beens

Today, I'll smile.......Today, I'll Laugh.... Today, I'll relax

Today, I won't feel alone because I don't see you
Today, I'll find something new that wasn't true of you
Today, I won't be afraid to look upon a new face
Today, I'll step up and take my place
Today, I won't think about what I've lost
Today, I'll look forward instead of behind
Today, I'll find some piece of mind

Today, I'll hope.... Today, I'll pray... Today, I'll believe

Today, I'll dream as if I always did
Today, I'll wish on a star the way I used to
Today, I'll reach for the heavens and sigh
Today, My heart will start to heal
Today, the biggest miracle is ME.
Today, Yesterday's problems ceased to be
Today, the rain has stopped and the sun has returned
Today, the breath of kindness is found in words

Today, I wonder.... Today, I am a child.

As Fresh As Dawn Awakens

Today,
My eyes and mind...
Are not on mistakes I've made.
Nor are they concentrated,
On aches and pains I've had.
Or the passing of judgements of others!

Today,
As fresh as dawn awakens my sensibilities...
I reach and desire something fresh to experience.
I want to witness and participate with nature.
I want to feel assessible to anyone that approaches.
I wish to remove every restriction,
Others may around them have!

Today,
My eyes and mind...
Are not on mistakes I've made.
Nor are they concentrated,
On aches and pains I've had.
Or the passing of judgements of others!

Today,
I am going to pray and be grateful.
Today,
And everyday thereafter I am blessed to breathe,
God is going to hear me express how blessed I am.
And not a complaint will I address.

Just Today

Just today,
I had been thinking...
'If I allow myself to think good thoughts,
Would that pessimism in me get the point?
Would it rage in a jealous fit and leave? '
Just today,
These thoughts occurred to me.

I tried it for a minute.
And that minute grew into an hour.
I walked among the people too...
As I gazed at the sky,
And observe the budding of the trees.
While I imagined the bloom on the flowers.

Just today,
I had been thinking...
'If I allowed myself to let go,
Of that I can not change...
I can fill that time with so much happiness.
With a concentration I alone can easily arrange.'

And just today,
It dawned on me...
'If I have power to decide how I feel,
Why do I choose to accept clouds to bring rain on my life?
What do I get from resisting it?
When I can stand out in it and become nourished? '
Just today,
These thoughts occurred to me.
And I am encouraged.

To Sell It In Pieces To Have It Sold

Once upon a time,
When I was just a young bud growing...
On the tree of life,
Blossoming with idealism.
And thriving with desire to have more Sun light,
Brighten to open my eyes even wider.
I had a wish to become wiser.
I had a wish to have it known,
I could express an intelligence.

Today,
My wants and needs are more simplistic.
I have only one wish.
And that's to have whatever it took to get,
My peace of mind...
Never to become noticed to be valued,
By anyone trying to buy it.
And I become foolish enough,
To attempt to sell it in pieces to have it sold.

Today! !

Today the sun was shine less
Today the moon was mood less
Today the birds were wing less
Today as the sun rose, they told me
Today as I woke
They told me
Last night I’ve lost my voice they echoed me

Today the mountains are height less
Today the clock was time less
Today the sky was wind less
Today my hands were workless
Today as the sun boiled, they told me
Today as I spoiled
They told me
Last morning I’ve lost my hands they assured me

Today the world was sightless
Today the room was lightless
Today the voices were figureless
Today my eyes were imageless
Today as the night dived, they told me
Today as I defined
They told me
Last afternoon I’ve lost my eyes they cursed me

Today the era was soundless
Today the room was noise less
Today the things were strike less
Today my ears were voice less
Today as the dawn fell, they told me
Today as I felt
They told me
Last evening I’ve lost my ears they pitted me

Last night I was voiceless
Last night I was hand less
Last night I was eyes less
Last night I was ears less
And now today I feel
That they’ll tell me
That I’ve lost, they’ll yell me
Lost a heartbeat
And now is grave less
Left in open far godless
Unmentioned they say expressionless.

Not today, not tomorrow

I may want to strangle you down
I may want to hit you hard
But not today, not also tomorrow

I may be tempted to break the promise
I could give no damn for all the roses
But not today, not also tomorrow

I may need to bleed out my heart
I may cry out my desperate objection
But not today, not also tomorrow

I could take the short cut way
I could give up the wrong thing
But not today, not also tomorrow

I could blame all mighty god
I could run away and hide
But not today, not also tomorrow

I could be the cold blooded woman
I could be blind for all the reason
But not today, not also tomorrow

I may have to release my anger
I may not have to hold it anymore
But not today, not also tomorrow

I could just walk away
I could leave to you all
But not today, not also tomorrow

I may beat some senses on you
I may challenge your stubborn view
But not today, not also tomorrow

This Action Should Strengthen Your Vision!

Now I'm getting your attention.
As if you are allowing your ears to listen.
Your eyes to uncloud from their haze.
With your mouth shocked shut.
And I'm to do 'something' with this focus?

Was it ever mentioned,
Your attention was not on my agenda?
In brief encounters I wanted to extend my hand.
And in doing so you became offended.

In brief encounters I wanted to take a stand,
Against all that I thought...
You too prioritized in your life.
I did not approach you to assist,
In the conflicts you fight.
Igniting them for purposes to mask your insecurities.
I am of peace!
Not about that nonsense you daily release.
As frequently as your choice to use cuss words.
To cuss yourself and others,
With a desire to be overheard!

NOW I'm getting your attention.
As if you are allowing your ears to listen.
Your eyes to uncloud from their haze.
Your mouth shut.
And I'm to do 'something' with this focus?

What do you expect?
A magic wand followed by 'Hocus Pocus? '
A begging on my knees pleading a forgiveness?
While you and the others,
Use that as another joke to provoke?

Look...
Let me help you understand something here!
I'm not seeking to sacrifice my time to charities.
Those donations have been exhausted.

Nor do I intend to give away anything I have,
I myself desperately need.
What I offered to you was a quality of life,
I had to recognize to appreciate the giving of it away.
Something basic to share I hoped would stay with you.

I came to you to extend,
An open-ness that was not judgemental.
Sincere in the giving.
Something you could have shared with someone...
And I would be on my way!
But you decided to turn that into betrayal.
And today you perceive it okay,
That I should welcome your decay?

Now I'm getting your attention.
As if you are allowing your ears to listen.
Your eyes to uncloud from their haze.
With your mouth shocked shut.
And I'm to do 'something' with your focus?
Oh...
And I am too!

Watch me as I distance myself from you.
AND maintain your focus.
This action should strengthen your vision!
If not...
Click your heels three times for clarity.

And...
Do not believe I am embittered.
Or 'sweet'.
I've been mistaken for both too often.

Hey

I thought about you just last saturday
My voice got cracked I didn't know what to say
Down in the shade or maybe in the sun
And if you need it I think I got one

Where are you
And what's on your mind
Where are you
Am I wasting my time
Where are you
And what's on you mind?
I just want to know if I'm wasting my time

I snuck out of work to see her smile
I'll hold her hostage for a little while
I wrote a letter I thought I'd let you know
I'm right behind you any time you go

Where are you
And what's on your mind
Where are you
Am I wasting my time
Where are you
And what's on you mind
I just want to know if I'm wasting my time

My mind got busy around 3 a.m. or so
Crawled in you room through the back window
Hoped when you woke up you wouldn't be too mad
I hope I never wake up your old man

Where are you
And what's on your mind
Where are you
Am I wasting my time
Where are you
And what's on you mind
I just want to know if I'm wasting my time

Today is a new day
today is a new life
today, yes today is a special day
it never has occurred before
the sun light cast on today is ancient
the words I will speak will be for the first time, today
The air I breath is new today
the aches are new as well
the feelings are new today
my cats meow is new today
todays lunch I have is new
the thoughts I think are new today
the life I live today is new
indeed today is a new day

Today My Friend Died

Today my friend died,
I still cant believe my eyes.
It seems like my world has ended.
Today my friend died,
the cute face and sweet smile,
keeps flashing in front of my eyes.
Today my friend died,
my first and last best friend.
She was waiting for this day,
as she had only sorrows and troubles with her.
Today my friend died,
the friend who cared about me,
the friend who solved my problem,
the friend who always fought with life.
Today my friend died,
and I think,
I am filled with problems with no solution,
a human with no confidence,
today I am here with no hope,
I am here today without happiness.
Today my friend died,
she has stepped into my life,
as a spirit of mine.
I cannot express how important she is to me.
Today my friend died,
I recall my memories with her,
and cry....

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong

Yesterday I hate things that hurt me
Today I shall change things under my control
Tomorrow I shall do more that I can envisioned

Yesterday I had past my youth era
Today I am wiser than yesterday
Tomorrow I will become a legend because I dare to dream big

Happy are those whom appreciated what yesterday had brought
Happy are those whom plan for things to do today
For tomorrow what might bring us is eternal happiness and peace

Yesterday Time flies so fast without realising we are already dead
Today Wasting our time is wasting our life
Tomorrow Time is valueless and priceless

Let yesterday remind me of the sweet memories of yester years
Let today be my reminder of treasuring our life
For tomorrow may bring uncertainty onto our life

So let us treasure and value our time
Time becomes priceless when we take things for granted
Time becomes meaningless when we face our final moment of our dead

Time becomes tomorrow heaven when we treasure the present moment.

Today Hate Is Taking Over Me

Today is one of those days
Hate is the only thing in my head
Everything I push away for this day
Today, today I just want to be alone
While the anger taking over me
Instead of the sadness I use to love
Now I’m alone feel the cold air going in my room
Feeling nothing but my heart betting
Thinking what I should do to get away for the anger out of me
so I’m sitting here writing away make myself think so the anger
can go away until I need it once again
