No One Has Shed a Teardrop

I was once told what I did was not correct.
I could do it another way,
And make it better yet.
But my need to express...
Was not seeking to impress.
I have no desire to be perfect!
Or have it defined,
To become suitable for contest.
Or to please those of that kind of mind!
My explorations I observe,
Do not waste time...
Since from me they are purged.
And if they do not fit,
What others claim is legit!
So be it.
They belong to me.
This path I walk is my destiny.
And believe me when I say,
I am deserving to do it my way!
No one has shed a teardropp from these eyes,
But me!

I'm Not Perfect

I'm (x8)
Had we met at a different time we'd be perfect for each other,
Now were spending all our time, in this world come together,
My heart is aching, from all the love your giving,
Were not faking, is this the life were living?
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
More and more we are together, tryin to discover,
I see a flicker in your eye, are you lookin for somethin better?
You once told me lying on the ground, but keep goin up and down, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Why waste it thinkin about it? taste it,
Don't waste it thinkin about it, taste it,
It really doesn't matter wherever i may go,
We're tied together, that's one thing we both know, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, now i'm right on time,

To Be As It Is to Please Those Who Enjoy That

It is what it is!
No matter if one's perception,
Does not reflect
What another should accept.

One who finds comfort...
Whether in chaos or conflict that sits.
If it is what it is,
And those have no problem with it...
Have ceased their explorations.
They express no desire,
To make something else from them...
And for them alone not to fit!

Then one who sees this activity differently,
Has a choice to leave it alone and split.
And in the leaving one discovers,
A peace of mind one takes away...
From that which isn't!
Since others see not.

And that which has been declared as 'is'
Finds its own purpose.
And 'is' to be left alone to be just that!
What it is.
Nothing more will it choose to be.
And choosing to see what is for what it isn't...
Provides no progess at all!
Not for the one seeking fresh...
Instead of familiar stale air which is kept,
As it is left!
To be as it is.
To please those who enjoy that!
Whatever that may be.
That which 'is' that leaves them pleased.

Destiny

Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny

Be Not Afraid: You and Me

Make up your mind-complicated thought,
Which lane to take in a two way
Street ahead, Choose a path but one,
And if you've to catch up, you ought.

Your mind's confused when honesty's
In recluse, come walk my way
And let's reveal the truth - a walk of destiny
Hang on tightly to me...
And let us build a path to life's reality.

Be not afraid of who you are to me,
I in return will make the best I see
Of who you are sans your infirmity
Just build your mind a solid destiny.

Now can you see decision has to be
But just a step-your feelings are so free,
Remember who you are to many just like me
Decide with ease between what not to be,
Fall back and forth but with solid identity
Discover you and me in a world of...
Truth and honesty.

Heaven Came To Mind

Whenever I walk this riverside path I can't help but think back,
to when I was fifteen years old… oh what bliss.
In my mind's eye I see myself walking hand in hand with my love
stopping every couple of paces for a passionate kiss.

I can clearly recall that summer as though it was only yesterday,
we decided to sit near to the cornfield to kiss and caress.
The grass was lush and long, and hidden from the path,
silently we lay holding hands, this was togetherness.

The hypnotic sound of the nearby river silenced us as it passed by,
what a beautiful, warm and peaceful day… heaven came to mind.
Just listening to the ripples enriched the happiness in our hearts,
we wanted to remain there together until the end of time.

I could smell her hair and told her that I liked her perfume,
and she said thank you, but it was only the shampoo.
She smiled, and kissed me softly on the lips to express her love,
through the heat of passion we became an inseparable two.

Afterwards we talked and were shocked by how far we had gone,
our parents certainly wouldn't want us to be together.
Despite that we made the decision we would do it again very soon,
in any suitable place and whatever the weather.

The Excitement You Express is Fantastic

I understand,
In full detail...
Where you have been.
And come from with your logic.

I need not take time to waste mine,
For your updates.
Any patience I once had,
You may have been familiar with...
At a time you fidgited as I taught,
No longer exist...
To give to you in a listening process.

Although,
I will say this...
You make me feel proud.
'Someone' has finally seen 'something'!

Now,
With that said...
Will you remove yourself off my path.
The excitement you express is fantastic.
Keep that.
However...
If you notice my enthusiasm not being as great,
It has been exhausting completing the assignment...
Of opening people's eyes,
From their hypnotizing attachments.

Now,
With 'that' said...
Will you remove yourself off my path.
The excitement you express is fantastic.
Keep that.
You are going to need that.
Plenty of it.
So preserve it.
Trust me!

Found Odd, Trifling and Out of Place

Stay perplexed and fixed,
To the politics you chose to pick.

Examine those policies,
You selected as priorities...
To be of interest by those elected.

And while you are doing that...
Remember when you dismissed others,
As insignificant voices to forget.
I've done it...
Remembered.
With a healing done I do not regret.

That's why my choice is not to be stunned.
I'm sure I had not been the only one,
Kicked to the curb by you and those...
With noses upturned,
And feeling the more deserving.

You pursued degrees...
You 'still' are billed to pay.
And your tunneled vision,
Has been blocked along the way.

Now I am approached by you,
And others too.
To unite and serve...
To assist in your desperation,
To save what you were told then...
Not to take for granted!
And...
One day from your 'perch'...
You will be unnerved.
And from within you,
A reality will be purged.

Has that happened?

However...
You were convinced,
My actions and those of others then...
Made no sense.

You were convinced,
My actions and those of others then...
Was a waste of time uselessly spent.

And today your frantic actions,
Have been isolated and distanced.
No one is seeking,
To protect your standards valued.

No one is seeking,
To uphold your exposed decadence.

You've made that and yourself too exclusive.
And did not include the needs of those who bled.
Or anyone you were instructed to bleed to death.
With a choice that led you to flee, instead.

And as you fled,
So did we.
Not to scatter like you.
But to find a peace of mind we keep.
With a doing done not to undo.

Today you say we need to call on God.
Those I know,
Have been and remain in daily conference.
You are the ones who are now found 'odd'.
Trifling and out of place.

It Is Time To Leave Them Alone

The moment it has been noticed,
That a people have accepted their conditioning...
To remain confined and limited in mind,
With excuses to make to stay that way...
Down to Earth to express pretentions,
In insecure and hypocritical ways obeyed.
It is time to leave them alone.

A process to awaken poses a threat to them.
And anyone suggesting,
They should stretch their consciousness...
By experiencong something different and fresh,
Is whispered and gossiped about trying to do their best...
Of being better than everyone else.

It is easy to observe,
People defiant and what they approve.
The proof is in what they accept!
And what they choose with their time to do.

'I can't stand them.'

~Why? ~

'Listen to the way they talk and walk.
How they dress and express themselves.
And the things that they do...
That are separated from us and the rest.'

~You mean speaking with clarity?
As if they are proud and have identity?
And they seek to know more about their surroundings,
To increase their minds and can not be defined as ignorant?
With a moving forward to discover truth and reality?
And being criticized doesn't seem to bother their integrity,
Since unity means to them being freed from stupidity? ~

'I can't stand them! '

~And I can see why,
They have decided to leave you alone.~

Been There. Done That. Too Often

There is a reason why,
I do not express a desire...
To know what it is you think.

'What is it? '

I observe it around you.
And as of today,
You have never mentioned it...
As a priority or even a concern.
And you should.

'Why haven't you brought this to my attention? '

If what is obvious to me,
Has not yet dawned on your mind to see...
Why would you believe a wasting of my time,
Is on my agenda to get you to open 'your' eyes?

Been there.
Done that.
Too often.

Today?
My anger has developed into amusement.

You Belong To Me

Verse 1
Why'd you tell me this
Were you looking for my reaction
What do you need to know
Don't you know I'll always be your girl
You don't have to prove to me you're beautiful to strangers
I've got lovin' eyes, of my own...
Chorus
You belong to me
Tell her - tell her you were foolin'
(You belong to me)
You don't even know her
(You belong to me)
Tell her that I love you
(You belong to me...)
Verse 2
You belong to me
Can it be, honey, that you're not sure
You belong to me
Thought we'd closed the book and locked the door
You don't have to prove to me That you're beautiful to strangers
I've got loving eyes of my own (of my own...)
And I can tell - I can tell darling...
Tell her... tell her that I love you
Chorus 2
(You belong to me)
You belong... you belong... you belong to me
(You belong to me)
Tell her you were foolin'
(You belong to me)
Tell her she don't even know you
Chorus 3
Tell... her-tell her you were foolin'
(You belong to me)
I know you from a long time ago baby
(You belong to me)
Don't make me go to her house
(You belong to me)
You belong, you belong, you belong to me
Repeat to Fade
You belong to me...(You belong to me)
You belong to me...(You belong to me)
You belong to me...(You belong to me)
You belong to me...(You belong to me)...

Straight Into The Heart

The anger.
The hate.
It's coming out of every pore.
It's a case where only filth can be described.
Imagining so vivid images of slashing someones throat.
Why you do that to me, god only knows.
But it takes everything I got to keep my temper in check.
This time, this time, I'm just going to walk away.
Cause I've been hurt to many times before.
A look back forever more.
The smile is just disguise of things so deep that I hide.
If you think I'm happy then just maybe you'll be better of in the mind and heart.
The path I walk is but confusion in the dark.
A lost little child trying to find his way back home.
Born under the sun upon a forced wedlock never meant to be.
Living someone else's destiny.
If only they were in my shoes.
The maybe they'd understand the world so demanding I live in.
But I will not ever bring another in the way did you.
Never again.
The path of the broken.
I fell down on the ground and told you everything.
My weakness was yours.
My heart was exposed.
And the knife you shoved right through.
The blood dripped off it the blade as you pulled it out.
It was with out a doubt the worse experience in my life.
It was my fault I never blamed you,
I gave the opening.
So I should been better prepared to perform the closing.
And emergency surgery please make room.
He has a life threaten wound.
We have to go in now.
No time to waste.
A saving grace.
Putting everything in it's proper place.
It is as it should be.
But now I'm leaving that all behind.
A part of my life I shall never again describe.

Perfect World

They say the time has come for us to start again
I believe thats true
They say the time has come for us to make amends
And I believe that too
Why tell me why?
Is it all so hard to find?
I pray each day
For a perfect world
Where children are laughing
Lovers romancing
Time stands still
A perfect world
Theres nothing to cry for
No on to die for
Wonderful
In a perfect world
Our fathers father says that things were better than
How easy they forget
On every page in every book of history a thousand tears were shed
Theres hope in our hearts and love in our eyes
Day after day I keep searching
Why tell me why
Is it all so hard to find?
I pray each day
For a perfect world...
Travel cross the seven seas to be with you
Passion and desire will see me through
The road that I must travel will eind and curl
Youre all I ever needed in a perfect world

Politically Correct

If you sing out Baa Baa Blacksheep,
It will have a terrible effect,
Who tells us that this song is bad,
The Politically Correct.

Enter our country illegally,
Then show us no respect,
Will we send you straight back, no,
It's not,
Politically Correct.

We're told not to smack our children,
As their minds it will affect,
That is why they run amok,
Thanks,
The Politically Correct.

If you have a criminal mind,
Then join a violent sect,
We won't hold this against you,
We're,
Politically Correct.

If you break in to a house or bank,
Your booty to collect,
We'll put you up if you get caught,
That's,
Politically Correct.

If you're addicted to illegal drugs,
We'll rush in to protect,
We'll say you are a poor wee soul, why?
It's,
Politically Correct.

You can take cocaine and smoke your hash,
Illegal drugs you can inject,
We're not allowed to stop you because,
It's not,
Politically Correct.

If you say Shhhh! Black or White,
Then I'm afraid you can expect,
To be told you're out of order by,
The Politically Correct.

How dare you celebrate Christmas,
That's a time we must all reject,
All Christians are now redundant,
Who says?
The Politically Correct.

We must now rewrite our history,
Our past must now be checked,
We cannot say we won the war,
It's not,
Politically Correct.

Politicians the world over,
Have their fiddles go unchecked,
Why? Because they make the rules,
They're,
The Politically Correct.

Terrorists murder ever day,
On our system this does reflect,
Are we allowed to hang them, no,
We must be,
Politically Correct.

If we try to deport these murdering scum,
We're told we must not neglect,
The fact we're placing them in danger,
That's not,
Politically Correct.

If we hurt their feelings and make them cry,
We must forget those lives they wrecked,
Try to be understanding,
It's,
Politically Correct.

We spend millions on interpreters,
But we're not allowed to object,
We can't force them to speak our dialogue,
Say,
The Politically Correct.

The government now want to seek me out,
I know now that I must defect,
For what I've put in writing's not,

‘' Politically Correct''

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

Scriptures

the only scriptures
i want to read,
are the life stories
of the oppressed and downtrodden.

the only prayers
i know to be real,
are their unspoken needs,
their desire to be free.

the only church
that i belong to,
their homes, their shelters,
their grimy neighborhoods.

the only image of god
that i want to see,
the humanity in their faces,
the injustices falling in their tears.

and equality,
the only walk...
the path, the destiny,
of the human heart!

Addressing a Reality

What is that you are seeking?

'Seeking?

I'm not in a search to seek anything.
Not anymore.
When I sought my life to live,
With an acknowledgement...
I did too much of that for others,
I found what I needed.

What you observe me doing,
Is a living of my life.
And it took me a while to identify it,
As 'my' life to live.
And it may seem to you I am seeking,
Because of an excitement you see me express.

Seeking?
No.
I am addressing a reality I have found.'

You Make me go Crazy

Every time I see you
You make me go crazy
Because the way you are
I just can't just take my eyes off of you

Every time you walk by, you take my breath away
You make me go crazy
Because you give me hug every day
You are the one that I'm seeking for

Every time I see you
You make me go crazy
Because I feel like we are only two people in this room
I just can't just take my eyes off of you

Every time I walk to class there you are right there
You make me go crazy
Because the way you are and

That's Why I Stay Away

There is not another excuse you can use...
To allow time to slip away from you.
Or to sit and wait for your happiness to appear.
If you have not done a thing,
To attract it near.

There is not another alibi to utter.
Or mumble in self centeredness...
About what you will do when the time permits.
There is nothing about time,
That is going to sit and wait.
Not for you to decide what decisions to make.
Or question what should take place with others,
In needless time consuming wasteful debates.

Others may say they accept who you are!
I do too!
And that's why I stay away.
No friendship I give,
Will be treated that way.
I don't like to feel,
What I value has been betrayed.

And loyalty...
For me does not need to be defined.

Your campaign for wishes to be understood.
Reeks from an ego that has done you no good.
But you in your stubbornness can not comprehend...
It's not what others have done to you.
But what they have allowed you to do to them.
And it's a shame they still claim you as a friend.

That's why I stay away.
I value what my friends choose to do and say.
And taking folks for granted...
Is not my way.
Nor will I ever find that kind of time...
To let thoughts like that occupy my mind.
I thank God I respect others.
And not of the selfish...
Me...me! I...I,
Kind!

And I don't like my time wasted.
While others make up their minds...
How to use it!

The Doubted Journey

I really want you, ceratainly,
I really need you, definitely
As a poor man in solitude,
Holding bags looking at the sky,
Seeing no hope in the clouds,
As they gather power to rain,
Should I go or maybe stay,
Its me and the doubted journey

The trains are all gone, hopeless
And my message is not getting through,
Its raining and im torn, merciless,
Some told me to walk away,
Some told me to walk towards,
I went on bended knees,
Its me and my doubted journey

And all the wars im fighting,
All the thoughts that come along,
Should I step foward,
Will you open your arms almost lover,
Or maybe close them for good,
Looking foward is like looking backwards,
I am not a mad man, im falling in love,
Its just me and my doubted journey

Looking at you was like coming,
Looking at myself was like going,
Such precision my mind did deny,
Yet such purity my heart did desire,
Such thoughts she want me to retire,
Yet such a feeling is full of disire,
Im not amorous, im a man in love,
Poor me, love is walking away,
Yes my heart is seeking thee,
Yet my mind thinks otherwise,
Its me and the doubted journey

Her eyes were like balls of white snow,
Her ears so perfect and adorable,
Stretched by the golden hearts hanging,
With the posture of real womanhood,
And modesty of a unwavering lady,
Will you ever feel the same noble woman?
Or maybe life has less to offer?
More to offer to them not me?
Time was my friend and I trusted,
He bacame Judas, like always,
Being so perfect together we seem,
Yet its just the wrong time,
The roses we see,
The thorns we see,
The gardens we enter,
The gardens not ours,
The minds we have,
The ideas we device,
Should I steal a rose,
In my garden how will I place,
Have I found you yet,
Or maybe otherwise,
Unto the garden you reside shall i walk,
Or unto that garden shall I stay away,
Its me and my doubted journey

I would choose to be a warrior of love,
Than fear hang around itself on my neck,
Too bad he might drag me into oblivion,
Yet the journey I have taken,
Its just me,
And the doubted journey
