Basking In the Glow
When one's life has been spent self indulged...
Do you think they have discussions,
About someone who has sacrificed their needs?
They would not understand what that meant.
Or might find it amusing that people actually suffer,
For the cause of uplifting others.
People self indulged have no clue that's what they do!
They've become too familiar with the concept of leeching.
But then again...
This is interpreted,
As an agreement others make within themselves,
To splurge those self indulged with attention.
A need that keeps them surviving.
At the cost of someone 'basking' in the glow of their aura.
Something they 'too' find unresistable!
And one that is quickly given as if to gift.

That Pity B-Gone!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
We knew that pity had to split!
B-gone.
We knew that our hearts would split, and soon...
B-gone.
If we let that pity sit,
Between us....
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit,
Both of us would have a fit.
If we let that pity sit...
Between us!
And...
You'd believe,
That I could never love you.
To leave me feeling sorry,
And blue.
But...
I would know,
How deep inside my love goes.
And protecting what I love,
Before it overflows.
Let that pity b-gone!
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And also going are those benefits.
If you carry on...
Like you can't handle it!
So...
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
And maybe not so much the benefits.
Since I would miss too much your many moods.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone.
No more from me you get pity.
That pity b-gone!
You indulged and had to rid of it.
That pity b-gone!

Amusing and Delicious Social Prey
Do not continue to perpetuate with perpetration,
Anyone's self indulged deluded opinion...
They keep about themselves,
That they are above reproach...
And constructive criticism given.
Do not do this!
Accept honesty as a gift that frees.
Those performing their fantasies,
Dished and embellished with a bit of ego...
Are in need of 'someone' to draw that line,
Made to be understood.
If not...
You do them more harm,
Than their false friends who find them...
Amusing and delicious social prey.
Establish your boundaries with people like this.
Do not beat around the bush.
Your name may be spoken with bitterness from their lips.
But one day,
When they do awaken...
They will no longer restrict themselves,
To insecurities they masquerade.
And don't be surprised,
If one they should call to apologize!
Hopefully they will come to understand,
You were never in the market...
To solicit OR promote the advancement of fools.

Continuing...............
Limitations are not for people for whom life is a continuing quest.
Boundaries are not for people for whom life is a continuing exploration.
Destinations are not for people for whom life is a continuing journey.
Harbours are not for people for whom life is a continuing sail.
Accomplishments are not for people for whom life is a continuing
Leisure is not for those who are always indulged in work.

Fat Fed Leeching People
What they 'really' want?
A more greedier life to live.
What they 'really' hunger for?
Is less from them to give!
A me-me-I-I society...
Hooked on feeding greed.
What they 'really' want?
A more greedier life to live.
What they 'really' hunger for?
Is a leaner 'truth'
To soothe their whims.
Fat fed leeching people,
Poisoned to feed.
Don't understand,
Their demands are fading.
Fat fed leeching people,
Have been led to believe...
Deceptions and lies,
Reflect their real lives.
What they 'really' want?
A more greedier life to live.
What they 'really' hunger for?
Is a less 'truth' than that 'truth'...
Really IS!
Fat fed leeching people,
Want a less truth,
Than that truth...
Really IS!
Fat fed leeching people,
Want a less truth,
Than that truth...
Really IS!
Fat fed leeching people,
Want a less truth,
Than that truth...
Really IS!
AND,
Poisoned to feed...
On a less 'truth'
Than that truth...
Really IS!
AND,
Poisoned to feed...
On a less 'truth'
Than that truth...
Really IS!
Fat fed leeching people...
Will keep eating,
What's been fed to them.
AND,
Fat fed leeching people...
Will keep eating,
What's been fed to them.
AND,
Fat fed leeching people...
Will keep eating,
What's been fed to them.
UNTIL...
The end!
Fat fed leeching people,
Want a less truth,
Than that truth...
Really IS!
Fat fed leeching people,
Want a less truth,
Than that truth...
Really IS!

Nuclear Meltdown...
the first melting you
experience is an ice cream
the vanilla and
strawberry melting
under the summer sun
and you have fun
licking each sweet
delight,
now, have a reality check
with man's craze
over instant energy
it has indulged in nuclear
reactors
on top of earthquake threats
or fault lines
don't they have that
prognostic sense?
now, the people have to
suffer
it is not about ice cream
it is about
the loss of lives of
children and women
and every
living thing
within the harmful
radius of radiation.....

Small faults indulged in are little thieves that let in greater.
One Taught And Experienced
When one becomes familiar,
With an honesty felt...
That has sincerity and depth,
It is difficutl to accept...
Pretentious substitutions.
Even the ones that come,
Overdone...
And self indulged,
Reek before a word has been seeped,
To encourage communication.
One taught and experienced,
Has no taste for any of this!
With an ability to feel truth existing,
For all it represents and is to be.
There is no keeping an 'is' for what it is...
Kept hidden.

No Football
When we first met we didn't,
it wasn't on the menu.
Of course it had me curious
I gave it much attention.
In April we indulged,
we were so very proud,
bouncing on the sofa
we did it in the lounge!
Later, in July
there was a time, I think
when we hit all the high notes
a few times by the sink.
In Autumn he got lazy
all this just had him spent
so I baked him pastries
and he ate those instead.
New Year was so merry
we drunk all Daddy's Sherry
I think perhaps we did it,
I wasn't really with it.
Last time was the best
and lasted quite a while
it was in Central Park
We had a bloomin' lark.
These days we just don't,
he's got so fat and heavy,
except for when we're bored
and no football's on the telly.

Up and In the Poconos
Up and in the Poconos,
Some people go to fly their kites.
Blown high and held tight.
And up and in the Poconos,
Some people do whatever they like.
When night arrives.
'Cause up and in the Poconos,
You can feel the peace that is right!
And no one's uptight.
You can boat, climb a mountain or...
Just fish.
And just sit and relax.
To do whatever you wish.
Since when up in the Poconos,
Nobody knows your business as it is!
Discreet with fresh air to breath.
In complete amenity that's indulged.
When up in the Poconos,
Nobody knows your business as it is!

Sahara Desert
for lack of love life
or any sexual activity
in new york
or even in san francisco
a friend of mine
says
he feels like he is
the sahara desert
dry and dying
to be indulged..

Surviving
Look at us here today
Lots of talking with nothing to say
And if I seem somewhat afraid
Im surviving, thats all I am
Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving, thats my plan
Just surviving
Yesterday, I was sure
But today I dont know anymore
Thought I was brave till I saw
My frightened reflection in a dark corridor
Now Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving with an emotional plan
Im surviving, so please understand
Im surviving, surviving
There are millions of people out there
Trying to get by in a world that dont care
People smiling through clouds of despair
Protecting the wounds until they repair
Theyre surviving the best way they can
They are surviving every woman and man
Just surviving with an emotion plan
So keep surviving
Maybe its my shattered pride
Thats why I get scared of emotional ties
Dont let them in, otherwise
Youll smile like a fool
But youll be hurting inside
So Im surviving through the insecurity
I am surviving, I got hope inside of me
So Im smiling through all the insanity
Im surviving, surviving
I was moved by the way that you said
Dont be afraid, I wont leave you for dead
You took my soul and mixed up my head
You left me alive
You should have killed me instead
Now Im surviving, thats all I am
Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving, thats my plan
Im surviving, surviving

A Chance To Exchange Canes
Gettin' down with a funk on,
Is like a 'hangin'-in-there'...
With an overdoing of too much tolerance,
Self indulged by those already apathetic.
A repeating done to revisit the 'oldies'...
Is, at best, an opportunity to reminisce times,
When the same things produced and performed...
Leaves one locked in satisfied stagnation.
With every step remembered flavored by a requested beat.
To ensure the feet are electrified to an identified limitation!
'You Are Cordially Invited To The 30th Anniversary,
To Share With Us All...
Your Thoughts, Agonies And Stale Conversations,
About Those Times Missed.
Don't Forget...
Bring Your Favorite Beverage To Numb That Head.
And Sweat...
With A Carelessness! '
~We should go.
I heard last year was fun.
Everyone we knew as children will be there.~
'Yeah...
We should.
I can't wait to see the same people we saw last week,
Leaving the doctor's office to renew our pain prescriptions.
Maybe we'll get a chance to exchange canes.'
