Background
You wish to find something in my background,
To soundly pound into the surrounding ground?
I've tested and teased and experimented too.
There is nothing that I hide,
In my background from you.
In fact my honesty may be more than you believe.
Every hair on my butt has been inspected for all to see.
And I keep in shape...
Just in case,
I am dared to moon!
My dignity I pride.
With an identity I trust!
But if you must probe into my background...
You can begin with my butt!
I am told it is one of my assets.
And I know that when I strut!
Proud am I to be so blessed...
With an abundance of 'gifts'
I shared and love to give...
With a less expected arresting seriousness,
Some live to inhabit within limited exhibits.

Butt Town
The cops are well-groomed, with
Muscled physiques in butt town
Their tan uniforms are tailored in chic
In butt town
Any young black male who walks down the street
Is gonna get stopped by a car full of meat
But the girl with the hair
Flies by in her underwear-
Shes done nothing so far to deserve that car
When you live in butt town
You gotta get down
But in butt town Im learnin
In butt town Im earnin
In butt town Im turnin
Into my worst nightmare
Im tellin you, its a motley crew in butt town
Monday youre new, and friday youre through
In butt town
The producer is wily, and owns what he sells
The talent is eager to go straight to hell
Th tits are amazing, and everyones gazing
At some body part-
Thats the nature of art in butt town
All over butt town dreams have a show down
All over butt town values are thrown down
But in butt town Im learnin
In butt town Im earnin
In butt town Im turnin
Into my worst nightmare
In butt town baby
Im gonna be a star
Im gonna shake my butt far
Now here we go
Im gonna shake my butt
Shake my butt shake my butt
In butt town

There should be a background check every time a firearm is transferred. You shouldn't be able to go to a gun show and buy guns without a background check. There are Internet gun sales, classified ads in the newspapers - and you can buy guns without background checks.

Taboo To Love
Are you telling me you feel
Like you have never felt
Ut oh, my heart
Dont you know those famous words
Be seen but not heard
Taboo to love
Are you telling me your eyes
Met hers to your surprise
But why, my heart?
How loud must you hear me say
Have fun but dont play
Taboo to love
Wheres your lantern or candlelight
So to guide you through hidden spaces
Though its said truth unveils all lies
Feelings cant be left to roam
So you say youve lost your head
But you use your heart instead
Beware of love
This is not like you at all
Who vowed to never fall
Taboo to love, taboo to love
Taboo (background)
To love, taboo to love
Taboo (background)
Wheres your raincoat and over-boots
To protect you in stormy weather
Though its said when you walk in truth
Love can bring you no harm
So youve made up in your mind
Youll leave your fears behind
So brave my heart
I guess your heart has made you see
Its better to be free
No taboo to love
I guess your heart has made you see
Its much better to be free
No taboo to love
No taboo to love
Taboo (background)
To love, no taboo to love
Taboo (background)
To love, no taboo to love

To love, no taboo to love

The Background
Everything is quiet since youre not around
And I live in the numbness now
In the background
I do the things we did before
I walk haight street to the store
And they say wheres that crazy girl
You dont get drunk on red wine and fight no more
I dont see you anymore since the hospital
The plans I make still have you in them
Cause you come swimming into view
And Im hanging on your words
Like I always used to do
The words they use so lightly
I only feel for you
I only know because I carry you around
In the background
Im in the background
Words they come and memories all repeat
I lift your head while they change the hospital sheets
And I would never lie to you no
I would never lie to you no
I felt you long after we were through, we were through
The plans I make still have you in them
Cause you come swimming into view
And Im hanging on your words
Like I always used to do
The words they use so lightly
I only feel for you
I only know because I carry you around
In the background
Cause I felt you long after we were through
Well you come swimming into view
And Im hanging on your words
Like I always used to do
The words they use so lightly
I only feel to you
I only know because
Im way Im way in the background
Im in the background

All The Worst
How do we deal with this?
How do we clean up all this mess?
Will there be a future for the latest generation?
Running around, believing the sound,
Is anything loud enough for us to decipher
Making a stand, extending our hand, we must understand
It's the least we can offer those less fortunate than us
[chorus x2]
There's something about this place
It brings out all the worst
Our history's been disgraced
Who will destroy who first?
I'm balling up my fists
Waiting here defenseless isn't pacifist
It's ignorant, and cannot be allowed
Maybe it's here or maybe it's there,
We're never aware of just how safe we are
Could it be us or could it be them, unable to trust
The information that we need
[chorus x2]
This time, will we all, live on? [background vocal]
If hurting still exists
Make it go away
The problems that are plaguing you and I the same
This time, will we all, live on? [background vocal]
Causing it to stay
Counting down the days
It's eating at the very core of us
[chorus x2]
There's something wrong with this place

Tell Him"
Yo heh heh tell him it's like uhh you know uhh
Sweet sweet tell him
Let me be patient let me be kind
Make me unselfish without being blind
Though I may suffer I'll envy it not
And endure what comes
Cause he's all that I got and
tell him...
Tell him I need him (yeah)
Tell him I love him (tell him)
And it'll be alright
[Background singing] Telll himmm be alright be alright
Tell him tell him I need him
Tell him I love him
It'll be alright
Now I may have faith to make mountains fall
But if I lack love then I am nothin' at all
I can give away everything I possess
But left without love then I have no happiness
I know I'm imperfect (I know I'm imperfect)
and not without sin (and not without sin)
But now that I'm older all childish things end
and tell him...
Tell him I need him (yeah)
Tell him I love him (tell him)
And it'll be alright
[Background singing] Telll himmm be alright be alright
Tell him tell him I need him
Tell him I love him
It'll be alright
[Bridge]
I'll never be jealous
And I won't be too kind
Cause love is not boastful
Oooh and loveis not loud
Tell him I need him
Tell him I love him
Everything's gonna be alright [w/ adlibs]
Oooh oooh yeah yeah aww yeah
Now I may have wisdom and knowledge on Earth
But if I speak wrong then what is it worth?
See what we now know is nothing compared
to the love that was shown when our lives were spared
and tell him...
Tell him I need him (yeah)
Tell him I love him (tell him)
And it'll be alright
[Background singing] Telll himmm be alright be alright
Tell him tell him I need him
Tell him I love him
It'll be alright

Nothin' But A Fool
So what do you think
Maybe he'll buy you a drink
And run his fingers through your hair
Apologize for having to stare
But he's never seen such a face
What's it doing in such a place
Says he knows a little spot
That he thinks you'll like a lot
So he takes you in his car
Background repeats (Hoo, hoo, hoo)
Says it isn't far
And you end up at his home
Ah, but you knew that's where you were going
And he turns his stereo on
Makes you feel like you belong
And you end up in his bed
You're great was all he said
Chorus:
Oh, you're nothin' but a fool
If you think that he loves you
Oh, you're nothin' but a fool
If you think that he cares
You're nothin' but a fool
If you think that he wants you
Oh, you're nothin' but a fool
If you think he cares
Yeah, yeah
So he lights a cigarette
Background repeats: (hoo, hoo, hoo)
Turns on the tv set
And you just want to be held for a while
He don't even wanna smile
So you try to tell a joke
He just lights another smoke
It's getting colder in that bed
You're great was all he said
Background repeats chorus
Oh, you're nothin' but a fool
You silly fool
If you think that he loves you
Ah, you're nothin' but great big fool
If you think he cares
You're nothin' but a fool, yes you
If you think that he wants you
Oh, you're nothin' but a fool

Give Me Honesty
She, she's been crying to me.
She, she's been trying.
She, she's been signing to me,
With words in her eyes, that says she means it!
We've often talked about the possibility
Of loving no more and setting each other free.
I can love you, just give me, honesty.
Don't take your love away from me.
We can try, we have necessities.
Chances are in our favor,
Open your heart, there it will occur.
Remember when the day was white
We shared the time, we shared the light.
Remember when the moon shone bright
We shared the time, we shared the night.
Give yourself to me and you will see,
One way to live just give me honesty.

Standards Connected to a Celebrated Ancestry
I'm not one to research the background,
Or the history of a felon or a thief.
However...
The romanticizing of criminals,
Is not my reason to live and breathe.
And although this is overglorified,
As a symbolized way to be.
Why are there laws denouncing these acts?
When they flourish with encouragement,
As witnessed on TV.
I'm not one to research the background,
Or the history of a felon or a thief.
But I do question the morality,
Of those elected to positions...
Who speak self righteously,
In public.
To leech as they please...
As if to reflect standards connected,
To a celebrated ancestry.

People pensive that I won't amount to anything in life
I hate the fact that people penSive that I am a CHARITY CASE Because I come from the poor family
This is not true
I am very proud of my bacKground
Because it has made me the person I am today
It has made me a stronger person after all the trials. I have visaged
I have full control of where I will end
Although I ddnt choose my beginning
