Waiting 2

Waiting is a curse
we all have to endure.
Every minute seems
to stretch itself into five
and the five into ten
and so forth and so on.

Waiting is like a time bomb,
the more you wait
the more the ticks get louder.
You get restless,
as it seems to drag on
and on and on.

Patience is a virtue,
but waiting is a killer
drawing out your frustration
and shortening your temper
as our calm and collect feelings go.

Waiting can turn into boredom
when there seems
nothing else you can do.
Waiting is a curse
that all of us have to endure
until it is over.

[ spoken ] nikki: Ive had enough and I want out!
Dr. x: you cant walk away now.
I looked back once
And all I saw was his face
Smiling, the needle crying
Walking out of his room
With mirrors, afraid I heard him scream

Why should I take it upon myself,
To wallow in the following of those shallow?
What point would I make,
By leaving my own path made...
To join those still walking around in circles,
Believing themselves to be achieving some progress...
By remaining in a yesterday unchallenged and unchanged,
With a doing that has become addictive.
I am not needed to validate that.

The Act of Writing Poetry

Writing poetry
is making honey for the unseen,
or from the unseen, perhaps.
It's being busy building sweet combs
from faults, memories and failures
while remembering the importance
of keeping an earthly link
while remaining part of the Outerworld.
It's walking a tightrope
for the Outerworld has no boundaries,
