Spirits
When their days at sea are done
they challenge the waves no more.
When the horizon no longer beckons
the deep finally loses its lure.
What is to be of the free sailor?
Does his spirit ever surrender
the call of the bounding main?
Forsake long life as a wanderer?
The sailin' man it seems
never to be secured.
If one should closely watch
the seafarer's spirit will be found.
In tern albatross and gull
soaring o'er wave and swell.

Boy With A Dolphin
Boy with a dolphin, two species at play!
Submerged for a moment then up to the spray!
Two mammals at leisure, no danger in sight
Just swimming together neath golden sunlight!
Neither is greater or lesser at all...
Each is the partner as pleasures enthrall!
The dolphin is noble and caring to boot...
Fraternal in spirit and physically cute!
The boy holds the dolphin in tune with his friend,
'You lead and I'll follow! ' They both comprehend!
No biting or scratching, just true courtesy
That's borne of God's blessing and joint harmony!
Could this be the blueprint of how life was planned?
Exploring the Cosmos by space, sea and land!
With love as the standard, the hallmark of grace

The Sea
The sea calls for all man
Though it, many try to deny
From the calling of the wind

A Sailor's Observation
The sailor stood on the deck of his ship
looking out at the sea, while the sun
blazed a golden yellow hue on the horizon.
As the ship rocked side to side, the
sailor's thoughts drifted, as they
sailed into the setting sun.
"I think the sunset is the best time of the
evening," the sailor thought to himself.
The sun's glorious color reflected its'
light off the clouds and streamed through
the breaks in the clouds.
A sunset as sea is so beautiful
that it takes your breath away.
You cannot see a sunset like this
anywhere else.
