Greenstone Axe

He stood upon the pa
Looking down upon his tribe

Greenstone axe in hand
His tribal moko on his face and arms

He swung the pendulum
Whizzing in the air

Its eerie sound of battle cry
Echoing across the land

The villages they stopped
In their daily chores of life

And scattered in a hurry
To prepare for the serge of impending death
From a neighboring tribe of war

Women and children ran
As quickly as they could
To find the shelter needed
From the battle cries of death

Then warriors all lining up
To challenge the Haka chant

"Ka mau"! Is resonate as he cries out the challenge
And in union they chant as the
Battle cries is heard across the land

With their spears and battle axes
Swinging in the midday sun
Their eyes bulging and tongues swaggering

As they send shivers of fear down the spines
Of their enemies awaiting to return the challenge

After each tribe sends out their challenge
There is quite as if death is walking amongst the crowd

The he shouts in one breath and joins his warriors
As they step forth to protect their land

Even in the days of old before the explorers came
They were fighting for the rights of their land

Warriors Of Faith

They search the desert plains
In the land of no return
To seek out the danger, time to burn
They are the rightous ones
Theyve come to claim this land
Like warriors under command
They fight for gold and glory
Proclaim the dead man's land
Into the dungeons they must go
To find the answers, left untold
Under the burning sun
In danger, eye to eye
They all now that someone must die
Into the well theyre falling
Past immortality
Led by temptation and devotion
Rendered deathless by the touch of the sword
Onwards victory, let us hear your battle cry
The enemies, will renounce or die
Hail the warriors of faith
Together they march through the fire
Forever theyre lost in this world
Onwards victory, let us hear your battle cry
The enemies, will renounce or die
Eternally, they will fall under the sign
Of victory, fighting all for one
Hail the the warriors of faith

Tribal

Chorus:
Tribal warriors!
Where do you stand in this battle cry tribal soldier?
Represent I and I jah jah warriors!
Repeat 4x
The reconstruction commences.
The soldiers equip for the lessons.
My life, a sacrifice is made new through these confessions.
Manifested, this joy is my desire.
Light this fire to flames.
Praise the name jehovah jireh.
Is my provider the truth that lives inside this fighter?
Take me higher, master, sire makes me a good rider.
Im gonna ride on down til I break through the front lines,
And aint going home until I gets mines.
Chorus:
Tribal warriors!
Where do you stand in this battle cry tribal soldier?
Represent I and I jah jah warriors!
Repeat 4x
I grab ahold of my second chance.
This time Im gonna make it last.
Left the world, came back an outcast.
To lay among the remains,
Through the trials and the pains.
Run for cover, make shelter, uncharted terrains.
Bloodstains light the paths to the ways of living breath.
My soul is put to the test.
Blessed with a mic in my hand.
Jah make straight my steps.
Then I hooked up with payable on death.
We flow in unity.
Stand in one while the foolish be,
Lost in this hour.
With power we have authority,
To overcome while these cowards just pick up and run.
Well we aint done til this battle has been fought and won.
This vitory, how sweet it be, is already ours.
Holding the stars, is the man that carries my scars.
Always the same, wear his name with no shame.
Here in this battle cry, we will never die.
We will never die tribal warriors
We will never die
We will never die tribal warriors
We will never die
We will never die
We will never die
I want to know!
Chorus:
Where do you stand in this battle cry tribal soldier?

The Dying Words Of Stonewall Jackson

"Order A. P. Hill to prepare for battle."
"Tell Major Hawks to advance the Commissary train."
"Let us cross the river and rest in the shade."

The stars of Night contain the glittering Day
And rain his glory down with sweeter grace
Upon the dark World's grand, enchanted face --
All loth to turn away.

And so the Day, about to yield his breath,
Utters the stars unto the listening Night,
To stand for burning fare-thee-wells of light
Said on the verge of death.

O hero-life that lit us like the sun!
O hero-words that glittered like the stars
And stood and shone above the gloomy wars
When the hero-life was done!

The phantoms of a battle came to dwell
I' the fitful vision of his dying eyes --
Yet even in battle-dreams, he sends supplies
To those he loved so well.

His army stands in battle-line arrayed:
His couriers fly: all's done: now God decide!
-- And not till then saw he the Other Side
Or would accept the shade.

Thou Land whose sun is gone, thy stars remain!
Still shine the words that miniature his deeds.
O thrice-beloved, where'er thy great heart bleeds,
Solace hast thou for pain!

God's Grief

"Lord God of Hosts," the people pray,
"Make strong our arms that we may slay
Our cursed foe and win the day."
"Lord God of Battles," cries the foe,
"Guide us to strike a bloody blow,
And lay the adversary low."

But brooding o'er the battle smother
Bewails the Lord: "Brother to brother,
Why must ye slaughter one another?
When will ye come to understand
My peace, and hand reach out to hand,
In every race, in every land?"

And yet, his weary words despite,
Went murderously on the fight,
Till God from mankind hid His sight,
Saying: "Poor children, must you gain
To brotherhood through millions slain?
--Was anguish on the Cross in vain?"

Mother Sky

Oh great mother of the sky
Hear your children’s cries
They have been taken away
By non tribal hands

To a place far from your eyes
Taken off of federal land
Your children now cry for you
Eighteen of your children missing

Their spirits grow weak
Has they are together trying to reach you
Wishing to be back home
Under your watchful eyes

Oh great mother of the sky
Hear your people’s cries
We wish to have our family
And our friends back home

Investigations continues for your children
The eighteen that are missing
Photograph taken of the site
Now are missing as well

Eighteen children missing
From our holy cemetery
Help us find your missing children
Whose tribe looks endlessly for them

We want them back home
Here in Kingman Arizona
Home of the Hualpai tribe

Dog Soldier Lodge Affirmed

We believed in love, freedom, nobility;
to spiritual depths of our souls.
We believed in spiritual sacredness;
of our vibrant untamed land.
We rode our mustangs like wind tossed rolling thunder;
drumming within across prairie storm front;
as we rode wild free ranging prairie wind;
sweeping across an untamed unshod land.

We were so proud to live; as robust hunter-warriors;
to walk stand tall; sharing tribal life spirit.
So proud to live! So proud to die!

We fought frightened forked tongued white devil;
with every honourable fibre of our sacred being;
as they swept like vermin; despoiling stealing violating;
great beauty of a spiritual primeval land.
As Dog Soldier Warriors; of entrusted sacred lodge;
we died as we lived; with respect spiritual nobility.
I remember drums beating beating beating....
as my tribe cast my sacred spirit free.

I remember ritual tribal drums beating;
as my people cast my shaman spirit free;
vanquishing suppressed pain of weeping wounds;
which had battle pierced bled profusely;
sustained in mesmeric dance of necessitated battle;
when trampled buffalo hide tepee; of venerated Great Spirit;
within my warrior hardened body; invincible in combat;
finally fell undefeated; before an ignoble enemy.

Defend ancestral hunting grounds; wearer of eagle feathered;
war bonnet; strike with medicine power; of eagle descending....
on prey; protect shaman warrior; brave deeds in battle worthy;
first to touch living fallen enemy in battle; in front of fighting.... notched decorated feathers tell your deeds; designate swift killing;
telling your fierce individual stories; scalping capturing....
enemy’s weapons shield proudly worn; how thunder on horseback
or foot; attacking fear you struck into veteran civil war enemies....

What remained of a once proud people; hostilities long bled;
cast my shaman spirit free; cleansing ceremony completing;
to roam restoring; releasing vitality; warrior leading retaliatory strikes;
be free in spiritual hunting ground; of earned nomadic nobility.
Until foretold time; descendant tribe; would seek; must seek;
wisdom of spirit world; to guide survivors in spiritual perpetuity.
Then search in sacred ritual circle ceremony; tribal knowledge proving;
for tribal lore; for primeval knowledge; for new found spirituality.

Guarded for time swept tribe; for time of great need;
by a shaman; by a newborn past ancestor; of awe inspiring ability.
We worshipped; in peace in war; wisdom of Great Spirit.
We worshipped life. We worshipped our land. In perpetuity.

Have You Ever Watched The Maoris?

Have you ever watched the Maoris dance the Haka
They shout aloud till they are out of breath
They dance it with such fervour and such passion
It's something you're not likely to forget.

The Haka is the war dance of the Maoris
And the All Blacks dance it before every game
It has become the war cry of New Zealand
And it re-ignites the spirit to full flame.

The Maoris were the greatest of great warriors
And the very might of England they did try
They always danced before they went to battle
And for their rights were not afraid to die.

The Haka is the anthem of the Maoris
They learnt it from their fathers as young boys
And they dance it with such fervour and such feeling
That you can see the passion in their dark brown eyes.

Have you ever watched the Maoris dance the Haka
Their dance of war in centuries gone by
Before they took on the great might of England
They used it as their stirring battle cry.

War For Water

They fought each other
Not to catch a cattle
Not to grab land
Not to annex land
To carve out an empire
Not to become a king
But for the water!
The herdsman fought
To browse the herds
As the meadows vanish
As the deforestation
Of their forefathers
Left the bold-headed
Ghost of mountains!
They took bows and arrows
The other took the rifles
The third gang took the guns
And moved to the Nile
The Euphrates, Tigris,
The river of Jordan
To turn the Serene surface
Of pure rivers turn red
With the hot-blood
Of warriors for water!
The battles fought-over
Centuries to centuries
Were to enslave men
And to run a mighty reign
Of the crowned!
As the oceans joins
And swallow continents
The battle will sink
To the depth of the sea
And the warriors gulp
The dirty salt water
And expel the breath out!
The battle for water
Ends in the enormity
Of the blue water
That engulf the globe
Yet with the sea life
That reminds the timid
Trace of life
At the time of creation!

Young Henry

Air -- "Drummer Boy of Waterloo"

Young Henry was as faithful boy
As ever stood on the American soil,
And he did enlist, without a doubt,
When the rebellion was broke out.

He was his parents' only son,
And only child he was but one,
That was a girl aged seventeen,
Henry called her his May Queen.

Young Henry said, "Dear sister May,
What do you think my friends will say?
For now my name is on the roll,
And I down south will have to go."

"I hear my country's call," said he,
"For all her sons of liberty,
And I, forever, will prove true
To that dear old flag, red, white and blue."

"I love my father and mother dear,
I leave you, May, their hearts to cheer;
When I am gone, pray do not mourn
If I should never return home."

His sister then to him did say,
"My only brother, blithe and gay,
Our country calls, calls from afar;
May God protect you through the war."

Their father hearing all was said,
It made his noble heart grow sad;
"My children, I love both of you,
And yet I love my country, too."

"My son, if I was young again,
I never could at home remain,
And see my native land, now free,
Dissolved and made in slavery."

Young Henry left his father's home,
And left his friends for him to mourn,
A captain of a little band,
He marched away from Michigan.

In the battle of Fredericksburg,
Above the battle roar was heard,
"Fight on! fight on! brave boys," he cried,
"I am shot and wounded, and must die."

They placed his head upon the grass,
So he could see his brave boys pass;
"Go tell my father, Henry's slain
To keep him from the rebel's chain."

They dug his grave beneath that spot,
They wrapped him in his soldier's coat,
And while the battle drums they heard,
They laid him low at Fredericksburg.

Warriors Of The World United

Here our soldiers stand from all around the world
Waiting in a line to hear the battle cry
All are gathered here victory is near
The sound will fill the hall bringing power to us all

We alone are fighting for metal that is true
We own the right to live the fight we're here for all of you
Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry
Stand and fight together beneath the metal sky

Brothers Everywhere
Raise you hands into the air
We're warriors
Warriors of The World
Like thunder from the sky
Sworn to fight and die
We're warriors
Warriors of The World

Many stand against us but they will never win
We said we would return and here we are again
To bring them all destruction suffering and pain
We are the hammer of the Gods we are thunder wind and rain

There they wait in fear with swords in feeble hands
With dreams to be a King first one should be a man
I call them out and charge them all with a life that is a lie
And in their final hour they shell confess before they die

Brothers Everywhere
Raise you hands into the air
We're warriors
Warriors of The World
Like thunder from the sky
Sworn to fight and die
We're warriors
Warriors of The World

If I should fall in battle my brothers who fight by my side
Gather my horse and waepons tell my family how I died

Until then I will be strong I will fight for all that is real
All who stand in my way will die by steel

Brothers Everywhere
Raise you hands into the air
We're warriors
Warriors of The World

Lights Out

"Lights out" along the land,
"Lights out" upon the sea.
The night must put her hiding hand
O'er peaceful towns where children sleep,
And peaceful ships that darkly creep
Across the waves, as if they were not free.

The dragons of the air,
The hell-hounds of the deep,
Lurking and prowling everywhere,
Go forth to seek their helpless prey,
Not knowing whom they maim or slay--
Mad harvesters, who care not what they reap.

Out with the tranquil lights,
Out with the lights that burn
For love and law and human rights!
Set back the clock a thousand years:
All they have gained now disappears,
And the dark ages suddenly return.

Kaiser who loosed wild death,
And terror in the night--
God grant you draw no quiet breath,
Until the madness you began
Is ended, and long-suffering man,
Set free from war lords, cries, "Let there be Light."

Tall Tail

The moon listens as the sun tells a battle of epic proportions long ago,
that man can’t recall.
The sea and the land, were in a war of great power.
They fought and they fought until the sky stepped in,
being wise it knew what they desired.
Sky told them of its plan, to let each have its own, yet know the other.
Sky took some water and sprinkled it over the land, and put land under the water.
But they weren’t satisfied, they wanted to reside in sky’s domain as well,
so the land rose up and the sea jumped toward the sky and the battle was over.

Robert Frost

In Equal Sacrifice

Thus of old the Douglas did:
He left his land as he was bid
With the royal heart of Robert the Bruce
In a golden case with a golden lid,
To carry the same to the Holy Land;
By which we see and understand
That that was the place to carry a heart
At loyalty and love's command,
And that was the case to carry it in.
The Douglas had not far to win
Before he came to the land of Spain,
Where long a holy war had been
Against the too-victorious Moor;
And there his courage could not endure
Not to strike a blow for God
Before he made his errand sure.
And ever it was intended so,
That a man for God should strike a blow,
No matter the heart he has in charge
For the Holy Land where hearts should go.
But when in battle the foe were met,
The Douglas found him sore beset,
With only strength of the fighting arm
For one more battle passage yet-
And that as vain to save the day
As bring his body safe away-
Only a signal deed to do
And a last sounding word to say.
The heart he wore in a golden chain
He swung and flung forth into the plain,
And followed it crying 'Heart or death!'
And fighting over it perished fain.
So may another do of right,
Give a heart to the hopeless fight,
The more of right the more he loves;
So may another redouble might
For a few swift gleams of the angry brand,
Scorning greatly not to demand
In equal sacrifice with his
The heart he bore to the Holy Land.

Lovers Bliss......(a loss of true love)

Lovers Bliss

She wept with sorrow her tears down fall
Upon the ground of blood and gore

There in lies her lover's heart
That beats no more close to hers

Her heart that is heavy with out lover's bliss
She sends out a cry of gruesome death

'Why have thou forsaken me
And left me broken in sorrow and gloom'

Her tears doth fall
Like a waterfall at the loss
Of her lover in their lover's bliss no more

She recalls the days thine heart and soul left her arms
They held each other in arms entwine

Thou whispered softly upon her ears
I shall return to our lover's bliss

The memories linger on in her mind
As it dapples across her dreams

Thine tender hands caressed my soul
With loving hands a burning aching need

The passion intense with each passing kiss
We climb on high at the ecstasy of love and bliss

She cries a mountain of tears
As the memories linger on in her dreams

So deathly quite she stands atop a cliff
And trembles with remorse and pain

How can she live her life?
With out their lover's bliss

Looking towards the twilight skies
She screams at the stars above

"Crushed am I no more to live I need you by my side"
Then taking a step into the dark abyss

She joins her lover in eternal bliss

Crawling through age with your anger and rage
Hiding away from your past
Here in this time we ain't living in crime
You can not ignore our rules
Don't try to challenge our God
Cause he's got the strength that no man possess
Don't be a pain in his ass abandon your evil thoughts
I am a man who is send to your land
To defeatyour mighty one
I will bring darkness with honour and pride
Please tell your Lord to hide
Don't try to challenge our God
Cause he's got the strength that no man possess
Don't be a pain in his ass abandon your evil thoughts
He have to fight I will challenge he's might
And soon I will rule this world
Don't be to sure our God will not fall
He will destroy your black force

The Battle Cry Of Freedom (Southern Version)

Our flag is proudly floating
On the land and on the main,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!
Beneath it oft we've conquered,
And we'll conquer oft again!
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!

CHORUS: Our Dixie forever!
She's never at a loss!
Down with the eagle
And up with the cross!
We'll rally 'round the bonny flag,
We'll rally once again,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!

Our gallant boys have marched
To the rolling of the drums,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!
And the leaders in charge cry out,
'Come, boys, come!'
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!-CHORUS

They have laid down their lives
On the bloody battle field,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!
Their motto is resistance -
'To tyrants we'll not yield!'
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!-CHORUS

While our boys have responded
And to the fields have gone,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!
Our noble women also
Have aided them at home,
Shout, shout the battle cry of Freedom!-CHORUS

The Battle Cry of Freedom- Union

Yes, we'll rally round the flag, boys,
We'll rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom,
We will rally from the hillside,
We'll gather from the plain,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.

CHORUS: The Union forever,
Hurrah! boys, hurrah!
Down with the traitors,
Up with the stars;
While we rally round the flag, boys,
Rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.

We are springing to the call
Of our brothers gone before,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom;
And we'll fill our vacant ranks with
A million free men more,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.-CHORUS

We will welcome to our numbers
The loyal, true and brave,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom;
And although they may be poor,
Not a man shall be a slave,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.-CHORUS

So we're springing to the call
From the East and from the West,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom;
And we'll hurl the rebel crew
From the land that we love best,
Shouting the battle cry of Freedom.-CHORUS

Warrior

(m&l - hansen)
Blackened shy a final flash
Death is in the air
Warriors wothout a face
Destruction everywhere
Silent falls the hammer
No one hears the cries
No escaping from this hell
Your prayers wont be heard... so die
Brainless cruel commanders
Sending death and pain
Soldier owly robots
Fight for their life in vain
Silent falls the hammer
No one hears the cries
No escaping from this hell
Your prayers wont be heard... so die
Die now die warrion!
Die now die warrior!
Somewhere in a shelter sit the mem
Who hold your fate in his hands
Playin chess and youre the loser
Youre a small pawn in their game
Somewhere in the shelter sit the men
And they dont realize
A war without survivors is a fight!
Thats never won... so die!
Barren land to desolate waste
Destruction is complete
Survivors creepin through the ruins
Decaying flesh and meat
Somewhere in the shelter
Some pigs are still alive
And the still play the game
They wont give a damn... so die!
Die now die warrion!
Die now die warrior!

Beowulf (Episode 10)

THEN Hrothgar went with his hero-train,
defence-of-Scyldings, forth from hall;
fain would the war-lord Wealhtheow seek,
couch of his queen. The King-of-Glory
against this Grendel a guard had set,
so heroes heard, a hall-defender,
who warded the monarch and watched for the monster.
In truth, the Geats' prince gladly trusted
his mettle, his might, the mercy of God!
Cast off then his corselet of iron,
helmet from head; to his henchman gave, --
choicest of weapons, -- the well-chased sword,
bidding him guard the gear of battle.
Spake then his Vaunt the valiant man,
Beowulf Geat, ere the bed be sought: --
"Of force in fight no feebler I count me,
in grim war-deeds, than Grendel deems him.
Not with the sword, then, to sleep of death
his life will I give, though it lie in my power.
No skill is his to strike against me,
my shield to hew though he hardy be,
bold in battle; we both, this night,
shall spurn the sword, if he seek me here,
unweaponed, for war. Let wisest God,
sacred Lord, on which side soever
doom decree as he deemeth right."
Reclined then the chieftain, and cheek-pillows held
the head of the earl, while all about him
seamen hardy on hall-beds sank.
None of them thought that thence their steps
to the folk and fastness that fostered them,
to the land they loved, would lead them back!
Full well they wist that on warriors many
battle-death seized, in the banquet-hall,
of Danish clan. But comfort and help,
war-weal weaving, to Weder folk
the Master gave, that, by might of one,
over their enemy all prevailed,
by single strength. In sooth 'tis told
that highest God o'er human kind
hath wielded ever! -- Thro' wan night striding,
came the walker-in-shadow. Warriors slept
whose hest was to guard the gabled hall, --
all save one. 'Twas widely known
that against God's will the ghostly ravager
him could not hurl to haunts of darkness;
wakeful, ready, with warrior's wrath,
bold he bided the battle's issue.

Beowulf, -- the "one."
