In a tribal organization, even in time of peace, service to tribe or state predominates over all self seeking; in war, service for the tribe or state becomes supreme, and personal liberty is suspended.

Equality
The Elders of the Tribe were grouped
And squatted in the Council Cave;
They seemed to be extremely pooped,
And some were grim, but all were grave:
The subject of their big To-do
Was axe-man Chow, the son of Choo.
Then up spoke Tribal Wiseman Waw:
"Brothers, today I talk to grieve:
As an upholder of the Law
You know how deeply we believe
In Liberty, Fraternity,
And likewise Equality.
"A chipper of the flint am I;
I make the weapons that you use,
And though to hunt I never try,
To bow to hunters I refuse:
But stalwart Chow, the son of Choo
Is equal to us any two.
"He is the warrior supreme,
The Super-caveman, one might say;
The pride of youth, the maiden's dream,
And in the chase the first to slay.
Where we are stunted he is tall:
In short, a menace to us all.
"He struts with throwing stone and spear;
And is he not the first to wear
Around his waist with bully leer
The pelt of wolf and baby bear!
Admitting that he made the kill
Why should he so exploit his skill?
"Comrades, grave counsel we must take,
And as he struts with jest and jibe,
Let us act swiftly lest he make
Himself Dictator of our Tribe:
The Gods have built him on their plan:
Let us reduce him to a man."
And so they seized him in the night,
And on the sacrificial stone
The axe-men of the Tribe did smite,
Until one limb he ceased to own.
There! They had equalized the odds,
Foiling unfairness of the Gods.
So Chow has lost his throwing arm,
And goes around like every one;
No longer does he threaten harm,
And tribal justice has been done.
For men are equal, let us seek
To grade the Strong down to the weak.

What I did was sit down with the Washington State officials, with the historic preservation people, with the tribe, the local community, the port of Port Angeles, and we worked this thing out, and we protected the tribe's interest.

No, we are not the master of the state, said King. We are not the servant of the state. We are the conscience of the state. The churches or the religious community should be, I think, the conscience of the state. We're not just service providers.

Room Service
Im feelin low, no place to go
And Im a-thinking that Im gonna scream
Because a hotel all alone is not a
Rock and roll stars dream
But just when Im about to shut the light and go to bed
A lady calls and asks if Im too tired or if Im just to dead for
Room service, baby I could use a meal
Room service, you do what you feel
Room service, I take the pleasure with the pain
I cant say no
My planes delayed and Im afraid
Theyre gonna keep me waiting here till nine
Then a stewardess in a tight blue dress says
I got the time
But just as Im about to take my coat and get my fly
She says oh please, shes on her knees
And one more time before I leave I get some
Room service, baby I could use a meal
Room service, you do what you feel
Room service, I take the pleasure with the pain
I cant say no, no
In my home town, Im hangin round
With all the ladies treatin me real good
A sweet sixteen lookin hot and mean says
I wish you would
But just as Im about to tell her yes, I think I can
I see her dad, hes getting mad
All the time he knows that Im in need of
Room service, baby I could use a meal
Room service, you do what you feel
Room service, I take the pleasure with the pain
I cant say no
Room service, baby I could use a meal
Room service, you do what you feel
Room service, I take the pleasure with the pain
I cant say no, I cant say no
Room service, baby I could use a meal
Room service, you do what you feel
Room service, you take the pleasure with the pain
I cant say no
Room service, well maybe baby, room service

How Can I Say that Your Poem Is Like an Ugly Woman?
i confided to her
many lied
for
the truth of the matter
is that
his recent poem is not the kind
that he makes
those that mends the broken wings
of a bird
enabling it to fly away from
all threats
i am an honest man
i have told her that
but at
this moment
i am having a hard time telling the truth
to the sad man
who is
licking his wounds
like a stray
dog
in the street
i ask if my honesty can do service
to his art
she says
how can he ever understand our quest
for the lighter
state - the way we have been looking for those
beautiful
gossamer wings
on twilight
when the rest have
ceased playing
their games
it is dark
and everyone is tired
those depressed
have swallowed the drugs
that can make
them sleep
and for a while
forget
ah, why bother?
i write this instead.
To hell with art
I must save the life
of a sad man
even if
i shall only tell
about
illusions
like what the rest of
the tribe is
doing
here is silence
it is truth's beautiful sister
and together
they can make a
perfect pair...

Service
Service is rendering assistance,
To persons nigh and in a distance.
Service should be in consistence,
And ever in abiding persistence
For peoples vital subsistence,
And for our peaceful co-existence.
Service constitutes us to be dynamic,
It cleanses the mind, and we are not sick.
Service entails ego annihilation,
And our materialism is in destruction.
Service makes us to give others a benefit,
It brings society to a frame-work knit.
Service allows us to do to others a favour,
Which adds to our life full of flavour.
.
Service endows us with a virtuous life,
And it empowers us to live a larger life.
Service chisels us to beautifully refine,
And it tunes us to be in a haven divine.

0019 O h i o!
and how many citizens of Ohio
know that when they say Ohio
they’re saying what, in the
Senecan language of the Iroquois tribe, is
‘Ohiyo’ meaning, it’s beautiful..
as said originally of the Ohio river;
so, poetry being a place where
the imagination is allowed to roam
as free as any Indian tribe, I like
to think of Ohians today passing
each other in the street every day
and saying ‘O-hi-yo! ’ with
a merry smile rather as in
‘Oklahoma’ was it, they sing
Oh what a beautiful morning
or as we do in a telephone call
when after a second or two
you come on the phone and
we say, ‘oh, hi… oh I forgot to say…’
mixing greeting and memory
well, there you are, Ohians,
I leave it to you,
whether this daily gesture
towards state pride, heritage, and
just friendliness, could catch on…
it’s poetry in action…

Key:-a - anita r - ray
R: come on. check it out, yall
A: come on, come on!
Come on, come on!
R: check it out! the tribal dance!
(say that again? )
R: feel the force, this is your chance
To get control and do the tribal dance
People started dancing a long time ago
The bass was fast, but then again it was slow
Soul, house, hip-hop and blues
It doesnt really matter which music you choose
Start up a dance this is your chance
To come with me and do the tribal dance!
A: youve got to move it feel the temperature
Into the rythym let the fire burn
So get into it-- get into the trance
This is the rhythm of the tribal dance
the tribal dance!
R: it started with a tribe who discovered the vibe
Who moved to the rhythm just the way they liked
You hear the treble, you hear the bass
The r-a-y, yeah is on the case
Feel the fire, feel the flame
Do your thing now, dont be ashamed
I have to go now no offense
Ive hooked you up into the tribal dance!
A: get it into it!
Get into it!
Get into the trance!
A:youve got to move it feel the temperature
Into the rythym let the fire burn
So get into it-- get into the trance
This is the rhythm of the tribal dance
the tribal dance!
A: youve got to do the tribal dance!
R: check it out! cmon! take your chance!
Check it out! cmon! take your chance!
Check it out! cmon! take your chance!
A: tribal dance!
R: tribal dance, tribal dance!
A: yeah! oh!
R: tribal dance! tribal dance!
A:youve got to move it feel the temperature
Into the rythym let the fire burn
So get into it-- get into the trance
This is the rhythm of the tribal dance

Into the rythym let the fire burn
So get into it-- get into the trance
This is the rhythm of the tribal dance

Strangest Tribe
It's five below in evidence.
The winded eves and sideways snow.
His eminence has yet to show.
Follow the ageless tide.
Follow the angled light.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...
It's 6:00 AM. You're waiting for...
You've had your feast. You're wanting more.
Follow the wayward mile.
Follow the distant high.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...
Follow the ancient stripe.
Follow the angels try.
Follow the strangest tribe.
I... I... I...

Unga Boo Ah
Unga Boo Ah was a little African boy of the Mamba
tribe who loved animals
They listened to him when he talked to them
Unga Boo Ah was friendly with all the animals
But his best animal friend was a lion named Anymalls
One day, Anymalls came to see Unga Boo Ah
To warn him of a coming disaster
Anymalls told Unga that there was an earthquake coming soon
Unga hurried to his village to warn the tribe and tell
them they were to move at once
All the tribe was saved because of the warning by Anymalls
Anymalls and Unga were praised by the tribe and all
the animals

Secret Service
You don't mind giving in to temptation as long as no one knows
Your midnight invitation where your madness flows
Fires of passion rage all night angels falling out of the light
Control undercover you can paralyze
Every love is one more victim they never realize
All their desires burn like a fever
They want to run but they just can't leave her
Secret Service Secret Service
Do they know how you scream
Secret Service passion - hunger
Do they know how you scream
I should have seen through her disguise she was a masquerade
Cold kiss hungry eyes then she began to fade
Feeling lost I want to be found
Heaven's in hell DON'T LOOK DOWN
Secret Service Secret Service
Do they know how you scream
Secret Service Secret Service
Do they know how you cry, can they see your dreams
Have they heard you sigh
Or do you save it all for me in your SECRET SERVICE

Attica State
What a waste of human power
What a waste of human lives
Shoot the prisoners in the towers
Forty-three poor widowed wives
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Media blames it on the prisoners
But the prisoners did not kill
Rockefeller pulled the trigger
That is what the people feel
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Free the prisoners, jail the judges
Free all prisoners everywhere
All they want is truth and justice
All they need is love and care
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
They all live in suffocation
Lets not watch them die in sorrow
Nows the time for revolution
Give them all a chance to grow
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Come together join the movement
Take a stand for human rights
Fear and hatred clouds our judgement
Free us all from endless night
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Attica state, attica state,
We all live in attica state
Attica state, attica state,
Attica, attica, attica state

State Of The Heart
I know your name
I told you mine
Weve stopped and passed the time of day
You work in town
I work at night
That gives us six until seven to work this out
If I seem a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
You are the moon
I am the sea
You pull me in and gaze on down at me
I was alone
I thought I was immune
Its good to know
The door can still be open wide
If I feel a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
Its just the state of the heart
I wait in the dark
I the state Im in
We get closer and closer
To falling out or falling in
I go over and over
But I cant change the state
This heart is in
If I seem a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
Its just the state of the heart
You know I wait in the dark
In the state Im in
It s the state of the heart
The state of the heart
The state of the heart
The state of the heart

We only have ourselves to blame!
Selected randomly by fate.
I became famous over night.
Be cause of what I chose to write.
About the duties of the state.
My writing caught the interest
Of the silent majority.
Who happily agreed with me.
It is our duty to protest.
Against assumed authority.
The creeping power of the state.
We can't afford to hesitate.
We have to act immediately.
If we do not it will become
Too late for us to call a halt.
The state will control by default.
And bring an end to our freedom..
We only have ourselves to blame.
Because we did not choose to see
erosion of our liberty.
We let the state control the game.
The time has come to overthrow
The dominant bureaucracy.
Inhibiting our liberty.
There is no doubt it has to go.
We live in a democracy.
It's our responsibility.
To ensure that bureaucracy
Cannot be used oppressively.

No philosophy
Racism is the manifestation of those who have no personal foundation
Human is what we are, have been and will always be
The past and future are not occurring at this time
Those who live there have no sense of reality
They cannot sensibly talk with dexterity through genuine sincerity
Reality is the ability for us to see that
Human is a state of being, not a color, country or state of thinking
You maintain your state by holding true to your instinctive traits
None of which judge by color, creed, state or fate but
By the want and desire for every being alive to be the winner of the
Human Race.
