Projections
We don’t have to try to be eternal
We already are
Our legacy is today
She tries to write poetry for legacy
She is sick and afraid
She wants a legacy
He tries to be profound
He tries to show off
Being ourselves is profound
Being in the moment is love
When we impress we are fake
Emily Dickinson had no fame
She had no audience
She was real and true to herself
Real art needs no mirrors
When we project we are lost

A Family of Friends
I look around me,
And what do I see?
A group of friends,
Who have inspired me,
We're there for each other,
We're there any time,
And I can say...
We're a legacy,
A legacy of friends,
We've come together in unity,
Let's join our hands,
And praise our God,
For we are a family of friends.
We've looked around us,
And found our strength,
He is around us,
O praise his name,
He brought us together,
In this place,
So I say again..
We're a legacy,
A legacy of friends,
We've come together in unity,
Let's join our hands,
And praise our God,
For we are a family of friends.
We thought we knew,
Who we were,
But as the days when it by,
It was unclear,
But we came together,
To talk it out,
And we soon found out...
We're a legacy,
A legacy of friends,
We've come together in unity,
Let's join our hands,
And praise our God,
For we are a family of friends.

Leaving A (Poet's) Legacy.............. [SHORT; Personal]
Not all can leave a legacy of money, real estate, or famous works of art.
Some legacies are products of emotions such as love and caring from ones heart.
My personal financial legacy will be small unless my wife dies first,
and even then it will not come near to matching that of William Randolph Hearst.
From my parents I received some love, good genes, and a little dough.
My daughter should receive the same, plus into the bargain my poems I'll throw.

With sincere modesty, if there is such a thing, I have never thought of legacy at all. I am always grateful if people like what I have done. A legacy is something no one can forsee.

When the media defines something, you have to question: Is it the definition that you want applied to your culture? I'm trying to determine who's leaving the legacy, and if the legacy that is being left is a positive one.
Real Love
All my little plans and schemes
Lost like some forgotten dream
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
Just like little girls and boys
Playing with their little toys
Seems like all we really were doing
Was waiting for love
Only to be alone
Only to be alone
Its real love, its real, yes its real love, its real
From this moment on I know
Exactly where my life will go
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for love
Only to be afraid
Only to be afraid
Its real love, its real, yes its real love, its real
Though Ive been in love before
But in my heart I wanted more
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you
Only to be alone
Only to be alone
Its real love, its real, its real love, its real
Yes its real love, its real, its real love, its real,
Yes its real love, its real, its real love, its real,
Yes its real love, its real, its real love, its real,
Yes its real love, its real

Mirror On The Wall
Silver silence looms her legacy
The pride of fallen angels
Roman slave ships
Us and them
Your words are vain rhymes
Your power a throne of mirrors
Mirror mirror on the wall
Fade into sphinx gray frames
Galleria of superfluous ego
Identity of art
Identity of superficial ownership
Legacy of masks
Charlatans
The cross is bloody with humility

Why is it that many contemporary male thinkers, especially men of color, repudiate the imperialist legacy of Columbus but affirm dimensions of that legacy by their refusal to repudiate patriarchy?

Legacy Of Kings
Out in the fields
The full moon is rising
Enlightens the name on our shields
Blessed with pride
Steel on our side
Were horsemen of thunder
The ground starts to shake as we ride
Side by side
Stormbringer led us into the unknown
On wings of glory we will carry on
Legacy of kings c legacy of kings
Forever to surrvive, were
Riding on the winds c riding on the winds
Unchained and free, alive forevermore
Deep in the night
We circle around them
The honor compels us to fight
All for one
All hewed with steel
In the toil of the battle
Our enemies fate will reveal
And be sealed
The chill of the wind keeps on calling our names
Theres no turning back now, keep hold of the flame
Legacy of kings c legacy of kings
Forever to surrvive, were
Riding on the winds c riding on the winds
Unchained and free, alive forevermore
Now we are here
And there is nothing left to fear
The secrets of steel
The path of glory will reveal
Legacy of kings c legacy of kings
Forever to surrvive, were
Riding on the winds c riding on the winds
Unchained and free, alive forevermore

European Legacy
She smiles at me
From beyond the eastern sea-shore.
Flashing jewelled eyes,
She hoists her skirts so high.
Nouvelle cuisine or an oyster bar ---
Its really up to her.
Ill write every cheque she brings to me.
I shoot on sight ---
Its my european legacy.
Round the castle walls ---
About the highlands and the islands
The faint reminders stand.
Visitors who took a hand
A thousand years ago, or so ---
Stranded high and dry by tides ---
Washed up a new identity.
The channels wide ---
But its their european legacy.
I strain my eyes
Against the southern light advancing.
On whiter cliffs Im high.
The sea birds roll and tumble as they fly.
I hear distant mainland music echo
In my island ears.
My feet begin to move instinctively
To the warmer beat of my european legacy.
She smiles at me
From beyond the eastern sea-shore.
Flashing jewelled eyes,
She hoists her skirts so high.
Nouvelle cuisine or an oyster bar ---
Its really up to her.
Ill write every cheque she brings to me.
She shoots on sight ---
Its her european legacy.

My Ever Profound Inspiration
My Ever Profound Inspiration
Is a fortress in my romantic garden
With rounded eyes filled with rage
And a heart that never harden
I don't know him personally
He doesn't know me as well
But he is My Ever Profound Inspiration
The man to whom I fell
My Ever Profound Inspiration
Is my every day morning dew
He is the bitterest nightmare
My sweetest dream that won't come true
He'd been my only one
All throughout these years
My Ever Profound Inspiration
Had bring me lots of tears
My Ever Profound Inspiration
Is now lost in nowhere
I don't know where he is
And this is hard to bear
I know someday we'll meet again
Perhaps he can already give me affection
Be his woman, his bride
His Ever Profound Inspiration

God Has Such Amazing Faith
We talk about believing in God
Believing in lies believing in truth,
Being a living sacrifice, putting our full trust in something that we
Cannot even see
But man, God is the one who really has strong faith
How does such a being, full of power, trust us?
He had a legacy, He sent His only son to the world
That Son was His hope, His pride, His joy, the world's very Savior
And yet that same Son was crucified
And then He died
But through power He rose again
And gave that power, that exceeding gain
To us.
We have that Spirit
But God entrusted his legacy to mortal man
There is no evidence of the resurrection
That evidence is Jesus Himself who is seated on the throne
The Only evidence we have is the Holy Spirit
God's faith in us amazes me
That He'd trust a fallen people, not only with such power
But the legacy of His Son, His legacy.
That He'd entrust us to spread His gospel.
I can scarce believe that God had such faith
To leave the only evidence of Jesus and His resurrection
In the hearts of men
Thank you God for your faith and trust
It's hard for us to put our faith in You, You who is powerful
You who is merciful, You who is loving.
But in all your great mercy and love
You put your faith in us
To spread that gospel
To use that power
To continue the legacy
To listen to the Spirit
To make disciples
To live
Because before You
Before Your sacrifice
Before the new heart
Before the redemption
Before the forgiveness
Before the healing
We were all dead
So thank You God
Thank You for having faith in me, even when I doubt you
Thank You for having faith in us, when we're a skeptical people
So thank You for the cross
I'll
We'll continue that legacy
Your Spirit, God, You, will be the living and strong evidence
That you are powerful, that Jesus rose from the dead
Lord God
I'll
We'll carry this Spirit to the ends of the earth
Because YOUR love, YOUR grace, and God YOUR FAITH
They give us strength

I think the film is beautifully realised. His legacy as a journalist was recorded - as it were - well, and certainly the important issues of the '50s - or even today - are delivered and presented to the audience in a rather honest and objective way.

To Thy Self be True
Loving thoughts live forever
Customize your mind
Centered in symmetric joy
The moon lights the temple
Love is in every night sky
No one is better or worse
Everyman is Christ
Everyman is whom he died for
Pettiness is garbage
Every candle goes out
All this pride on top of dust
We occupy ourselves with triteness
With little tragic games
I am the guiltiest
It is so easy to try to be accepted
Pointing fingers does nothing
Changing others is not my job
Dealing with myself is my job
Dealing with others is Gods buisness
Serene Bach plays in the background
Man he was a giant
He sure thought some sweet thoughts
Social incest gobbles people up
Thinking other peoples thoughts
People pleasing, kissing ass
Clicks are not love
I see allot of my art is sham
Here and there something real gets out
I love Gods creation
When I reflect that something true happens
Grudges and proving points only diminishes
Wasting time putting things in categories
Thinking the mundane
Writing profound is totally individual
Like Emily Dickinson
Her poetry was seen after her death
She didn't write to be popular
Real art is never before the crowd
To thy self be true is harder than you think

To My Dying Father
Silently you rest
In that cold and hard hospital bed
Your now muted words are trapped
Behind you barren lips
Patiently waiting for your turn,
You feel the hours and gray days
Slowly dying along with you
What seemed to be a long trip,
Is rapidly becoming shorter by the minute
Drown in a reservoir of memories and thoughts
You desperately try to re-capture the past
But only your legacy will remain
Worry don’t be for we will follow your steps
And one day we will meet again
Only one luggage is ready for you
Carrying nothing but your big heart!
I wish I could hold your aging hands
And tenderly kiss your cheeks
But the distance is so cruel
That would like to close my teary eyes
And be with you in your rainy day
But don’t worry my dear father,
You are not going to be alone at all
For the Lord will be with you
I know you are not afraid of dying
When your legacy you behind
And you will continue to live
Forever through my poetry!
I love you so much dear father
And one day I will see you again!

I Am Nothing More...
I am nothing more
Than a window of the World
And through me,
You can only see,
A single and unique view
Of The whole…
My fragile voice
Is nothing but one more
Added to the millions heard
Every single day,
Raising the spirit of humanity…
One single soul
Echoing the sound
Of Love and Peace
But also feeling the pain
Of those in real needs,
Those hungry little ones
Cold and sick…
From the book of life,
I am just a single page
Inking my honest thoughts
Which it mirrors
My humble heart
Given away to the World…
I am a single soul
Just passing through
And leaving behind
My non erasable
And unique footprints
As an unquestionable proof
Of my legacy…

You left me—Sire—two Legacies
644
You left me—Sire—two Legacies—
A Legacy of Love
A Heavenly Father would suffice
Had He the offer of—
You left me Boundaries of Pain—
Capacious as the Sea—
Between Eternity and Time—
Your Consciousness—and Me—

~Smile~
We all smile to show our happiness,
We use it a lot, Yes,
Smile can be fake or real,
Its used to show or hide how we feel,
Fake smile is shown when,
Pain in heart rises,
And real smile is shown when,
Unexpected happiness doubles in sizes,
Natural or Not,
But its better to show a real one on the spot,
Let us be honest,
the only time we show the real smile is when someone has touched our heart,
and when we show the fake smile,
is when someone has tear everything apart,
Yes we show our fake smile,
to show people that we are okay so they wont revile,
Its hard to put on a real one as your hurt,
And yes we try to heal it as we flirt,
Its time to face the fact,
Showing a fake smile is like showing a fake and stupid act,
Put every pain to the side and smile for now,
not for someone,
But for everyone,
and show it as we are endowed.
