Caves Of Dharma

Out from the caves
Kelp shores in the moon
We wait
Crying like falling stars
Hollow caves filled with time
Sisters with courage
Sisters wanting open fields
We are not going back
Bold as golden lions

Recovered from the incest
Severed from the chauvinism
She smiles again like azaleas
Eastern lanterns bring free winds
Out of the grip of gargoyles
Out of cold stone religion
The God of the cross reaches
Personal relationships replace ritual
Her dog runs along the sea

Black silk young with vision
Living by the ancient dreams
The wind blows her wild hair
The doors are the tides
Meadows of jubilant pearls
Nothing harvested by the dark lord
Rows of costumes burned
No victims crying
No molds that crystallize

Wear the shells of sea
Wear the beads of the land
Aqua eyes shine with dawn
Sacred souls gentle as clover
Sun inward and outward
Scallion ships with herbs
Decorate your heart with sky
Let the breeze carry your love
We are out forever from the caves

Her dress of summer roses
Mauve dances like purple life
Fountains of color in fauve night
Existential bliss revels
Justification in eyes of wonder
Grow your seeds like foreign love
Lentils, celery garnish kitchen poetry
Old farm houses with soft light
Paris breathes on the walls

Never let the madness win
Their endless war
Doves fly among the stars
Reflect the apple orchids
Exile is fools gold
Mountain streams are true jewels
She paints for the spring
Join hands children of begonias
Music fills the caves

Sea Caves

Your garlic and sage roses
Your half moon sea
The waters rise like an oak tree
Boughs of pure crystal joy
Blue gray soul of seraphim eyes

Now the sea showers the shore
I am the hidden man
Golden treasures in caves
I hear the tide go in and out
We search for real dreams

Islands maroon the heart
Protons and neutrons in balance
Man asleep waiting to see her eyes
Woman knowing she is love
These kelp shores wait for you

I long to hold you in the moonlight
Your smile silent as morning
Seagulls soar with freedom
All the walls have crumbled
We share the serene stars of peace

Mystic warm waters surround
Topaz blended with sapphire
Violet touch amidst lime green
Clouds sigh like satin prose
These sea caves fill with your love

Till The Heart Caves In

Orbison/burnett/neuwirth
Stood together in an open field
And shared the secrets that the night revealed
Then wed chase the light racing through the sky
Can we untangle guilt and innocence?
How hard we torture this ambevolence
Night will bring no dawn wheres the power gone?
For Ill steal your dreams while you are sleeping
And sell them for dust and cheap lust
And Ill turn your hope while you are weeping
And cover your eyes with sad lies and dark skies
Come closer to me, on your hands and knees, alone when your wills gone
How much is not enough? , how much is through?
How long will I be getting over you?
How much grief and sin
Till the heart caves in? till the heart caves in? , till the heart caves in?

Orion's Belt

In the bleak shadow of self doubt
Where clocks chime midnight
Morning stands with great lions
We wait for redemption
Self-acceptance with out chains
Rooted by rivers that over flow
Like a sparrow on a winters day
Kings highways made of slavery
Divorced from the sweat of good men
Raise the banner of the conquered
All this gold buried deep inside
Journey into crystal sorrow

Upon the hills of morning joy sings
Distant like bells of hope
We search ourselves only to see caves
Caves filled with guards
Bribe the illusions of Macbeth
Desire for power stands like a general
Confidence in money and armor
Confidence in others weakness
Confidence in entitlement
The soul is found in pure simple love
This battle rages in the essence
Dual nature of the sphinx

Free from rage
Roman armies fight the red sea
Swords sheathed without blood
Vendetta tried in the courts of mercy
Salvaged in olive gardens
Hidden in catacombs along the river
Purged in desert righteousness
Delivered from dark clouds
Feel the rain heal the barren land
Fruit trees grow again in the meadows
The children have come back with songs
Time has brought a heart willing to forgive

She smiles like the innocent moon
Eyes that just want something real
Bright and filled with new stars
She has walked in the strange rain
What do you see on the tree far away?
Some dream that has no dark sky?
Sincerity ravages me
Her long hair flows like the sea
Her voice sings like the free wind
Romance escapes in a forest of doves
Touch the flame of the mystic sun
So it shall be love shines like the sun

Music has garlands from ancient dawn
Spirit from oracles of freedom
Chorus of the kiss of moonlight
Eagles fly like chords of timeless poems
Coda of Odysseys like mountain winds
Art is a temple where sacred secrets whisper
Join together with Apollo and Dionysus
The masters and the novice hold hands
We join the celebration with tireless flutes
Sing like the rivers finding their mission
Paint the enigmatic times
Let the fire of love blaze our hearts

No countries or lands to return too
Spirit calls Abraham to promises
Gates of eternity seen by the sojourner
Leave this world for another home
Hear the call of the creator
We are the temporal amidst the eternal
We are the doomed amidst the saved
Travel with the greatest hope of all
Gather together and feel the flames
Unity is a circle of fire
We are here to awake to hear and see
Man does not live by bread alone

Does death end it?
Why do those stars shine?
The leaves blow thru history like moments
Beauty rises with every blazing sun
Can you feel the color of the living day?
Waterfalls flow like wild dreams
Roses pulsate with radiance
The moon is bright like a free white bird
Venus shines and Saturn’s rings spin
Past the wars and hate can you still marvel?
Tonight the earth is traveling as it turns
Full of creation amidst the stars

Step out into Orion’s belt

Timeless Flowers

Land blessed with singing rain
Can you hear what the winds say?
Summer roses grow with pride
Filled with timeless mystic sky
Orchids grow in fine spring sunlight
Sired from the past eons of starlight
Circles broken will someday heal
Children laugh a wheel within a wheel

These little ones play in green fields
Before their forefathers they kneel
Silent sacred ghost in the breeze
Blood of the ages amidst tall trees
Changing tide swells; it ebbs and flows
The noble sunsets and the moon glows
Gentle mother-father lay side by side
Sorrow like rivers in tremulous time

Fallen autumn leaves that die to live
A new offspring they chose to give
Songs of the forest sometimes cry
Chills of how they lived and died
Tears like sweet mountain streams
We are their fountains and dreams
Memories like angels touch our souls
We are their seeds and living hope

Let seeds of the ageless flowers grow

Ghosts Of The Sea

Calyx of forgotten souls
Crushed in the labyrinth
The sea whispers with ghosts
Cold night of the mariner
I hear the sigh of time
Every cry a breath of starlight
These dreams wash ashore
All your shelter leaves you

She fades like a winters day
No footprints along the tide
Seagulls circle golden history
Baroque poetry elegant as blue
Royal blue filled with radiant love
Ambiguous as the free will
Hard like diamond sextant notions
Under the sea my heart shines

Do we belong too one another?
Will the eastern sun bring us home?
I seek your values
I seek everyman free
I am the poor and frightened
You are the vulnerable
You are the divorced and hurting
We are the ghosts of the living sea

No epithet on the mystic waters
Names in ancient mystery
Caverns deep with leviathan
Wedding rings of the four winds
Empires rage tossed in the waves
Our ship joins mighty Neptune
Mountain villages with lanterns
Kelp and seaweed by our grave

Icy waters of the gracious Irish Sea
Crypts of the dusky Black Sea
For the sea shall give up its dead
A thousand tongues of the wind
We are beneath the pirate ships
Let the tides sing of love
Stars over the mighty Atlantic
Gales howl and we are at peace

Snowmelts like icy rivers of joy
Blending takes brave trust
Closer and wet with volcanoes
Islands swept with hurricanes
We were here and still are
Our candles join the tides
Moonlight eyes stare at me
The wind has called us

Whispering ghosts of the sea

Terms Of Endearment

Sate flowers from Rembrandt's sorrow
Dressed in gold she stares in opulence
Gone from the axis of sojourning time
Paint her with all your bright color
Let her live in sweet butterfly myth
Severed empires strange as funerals
Burning sea shines like midnight ships
Chase your dreams in chests of silk
Tears of marble memory cold and aloof
Purple adulation sired by orators

The waning moon stutters its poetry
Stars in blue evening gowns sigh
Quills of epochs touch the ethereal
Ancient Neptune in cribs of white light
The other kingdom is a living mandella
Fresco of balance in Syrian ink
Stones lay silent like caves
Touch the fire laying in the epithets
Ceremony where gates agree
Where the priests mean what they say

The wind sings with silent souls
All this cryptic love from far away
She whispers from a wife gone
She loves you and always will
Every father watches over
Hear the refined hope sublime and true
Everything dissipates into mortal terms
A wisp in the hallway
The chimes of the clock
Terms of endearment never go away

Divine Spice

Beneath the ashes golden rivers
Feathers preened in gentle winds
Beacons like snow capped mountains
Shine on all you humble friends
Gold finches with ebullient joy
Her marvelous smile is a dream
Fields of yellow daffodils
Wreaths made of ancient streams

Muse wiser than great Solemn
Sleep in dreams of acacia and honey
Spirit of the garden gently blows
She awakes the fire of dawn in me
Night blazes with cleansing fire
Zephyrs of first delicate love
Recipients of eternal stars
The mystic moon shines above

Perfume rich from apple blossoms
Barley sires elegant meadows of time
Radiant soul elegant as maple leaves
Autumn shelters beauties sweet delight
Voices gentle with patience sing forever
The cloak of the muse in purple twilight
Candles shine on her face of rapture
Stars of ruby queens prickle the night

Tides glow with embellished blue
Light dances like mysterious elves
Gatherings of the oaks and pines
Owls amidst the eagle’s high realm
Born in rivers laced with romance
The royal sea sparkles in her eyes
Nectarines in orchards of cinnamon
Love is truly the eternal divine spice

We Are Dreams

Walk like children on river moonlight
Sovereign stars of infinite gentle topaz
She shines like spring waters
Laramie ribbons shoulder the dawn
Mountain mist with blue ice eyes
Drink from streams with no adultery
Inspiration from the winter sun
Green peppermint dreams
Purple dresses swoon the market
No twisted thorns shall ruin the day
Gifts of joy swell the river

Diamond smiles circle the night
Dusk has no war only ships of peace
Gardens march like childhood
Naïve blue sky speaks softly
The bass is deep like a galaxy
Wings bright as mellow gold
A voice of wisdom shall prevail
Lets wear flowers that sing
The shore brings scallion colors
We are revealed in naked mercy
The ages live like rainbows

Streets dance with embroidered sage
Aspen gather the singing stars
Made by fire in the ancient ways
Seeds with trees of angels
Growing in free gardens of peace
Tribes of gardens will win
No fear shall stand against love
We are the unorganized momentum
Turquoise grows like innocence
Isn’t it beautiful to feel the universe?
Rejoice amidst your eternal friends

We come up from the strange sea
Revel in the haunting wind
Eons sail in the pirate rainbows
Remember every tender touch
Every vibration sent by love
Shells with pink dawns sing
Time melts like centuries flow
We gather roses of mystical suns
Radiant waves sigh with stars
Paint your crayon hearts
We are dreams of infinite today

Old Fashion Wedding

Exiled and in flight we run
Ravished in the heat of the sun
Nothing can stand Holy scrutiny
Marked with scorn and mutiny
Islands filled with dark caves
We hide from what we crave
We are prisoners of our own walls
From the wilderness a voice calls

Shrouded in clouds along the sea
She flows like a fountain of mystery
Exude your hunger my only love
Open wide like sacred skies above
We are the joyous streams of life
Fiery sun and sweet moon of night
The yellow finch has found his mate
Rivers flow into evening’s gate

Vestures of the dove of peace
Olive oil from the gardens trees
Forgiveness with bright rainbows
Only love makes the heart grow
We watch the rain pour on the fields
Lilies blossom in souls that kneel
Full circles of true family bliss
Bright promises in every kiss

Bells ring in the old churchyard
Family and friends from near and far
The Lord turned water into wine
A love beyond space and time
Union of spirit and body before all
Amidst the spring flowers he calls
Pray for your true love to find you
God is love and dreams come true

An old fashion wedding is still the best
Where the Holy Spirit is the finest of guests

The Dead Follow Every Wind

Logos of pride
Burning eyes of phallus poetry
The over man of Nietzsche
Caged in robust vanity
Scarborough of delicate sanity
We suffer like condemned tribes
The pall of Prometheus fire
All are punished in the true mirror
All are swarthy madmen

Along the shore a ray of sun
Wise hour deems blue asylum
Men of the seventh seal
Tombs of radiant jewels
She hands skeletons her potion
We dance like poised slaves
Numb in totem revelry
Circle around mountains of myth
No fountain of youth shall respite

Wine of Bacchus bubbles like death
The wind blows fierce with portent
Portals of fire summon the locust
Land of giants drunken on philosophy
Golden eyes narrow like serpents
Dance to the sound of draped sirens
Magic hours where time warps time
Leave these feasts of foreign temples
Prince and power of the air rides

Hide your gold in the children’s war
Hide your future in caves of incest
Worship the still steel phallus
Your wet womb reveals Egypt
Visitors fallen and very dark
Musky bed where aliens crouch
Ancient lions wilt the galaxy
Who are you sister of red
The dead follow every wind

Holy Night

Everything sighs with moonlight
Who owns the sun and stars?
Prayer sails outside of mortal time
My soul lives in another dimension

Gentle palm trees sway in shadows
The sea shines in wake of the moon
Waves role and ebb on quiet shores
Sacred moment swells with eternity

The universe is a friend to sojourners
Stars of Holy portent glow with awe
Gentle night along this white sand
Mystic soft light on kelp and shells

Lights from the small mountain village
They fish the sea like centuries before
I sit on an old rock of ancient lava
The glimmer of the stars is hypnotic

Dreams mingle with beauty true
Fellowship with wonder and peace
Assurance that all will be well
Spirit in the sweet breeze and tide

Gratitude ascends on this Holy Night

Time only has so much Time

Pearl fire of aqua language
Poets purge the unconscious forms
Wings of ethereal justice and beauty
She has mercy in her piercing eyes
Stone lions chase ravens
The claws of silence
Forever past in granite
There in the wind hides legacy

Voices of the deep sapphire sea
Gardens where forgiveness glides free
Trench warfare is over
Below the equinox
By palm trees of ice
Egyptian mummies walk in the valley
She hands me a vision
A vision lacking the entire world

Freedom is a dream found in libraries
Mortal fear wrestles with morning
All the gates are locked
By the fountain a golden flower grows
Dialogue with Dante’s Inferno
Winds of Shelley’s thorns
Poseidon sails in a Roman slave ship
Spartacus meditates vengeance

Myth becomes the shields of armies
Pirates steal Caesars bold inscription
Opium ships bring their cargo west
Denizens read Verlaine and Virginia Woolf
A more perfect union visions of Voltaire
Autonomous Atlas lifts the weight of the world
Through symbols and dreams the fog lifts
Shaman prophets die early deaths

Let the clowns swim with the mermaids
Every one needs dreams that dance
Escape to the islands and look over the precipice
Along the mountain passes feel the free air
Sleep under the moon with your wise lover
Lord Byron’s black steeds ramble the night
Walk through forests of emerald romance
Let your dreams escape from self torment

Dharma mountains rise in spires
Genuflect in neurotic salvation
Holy water with fluoride
The womb of peace
Adults suck their thumbs
Deep in the caves of Greek enigma
Collective unconscious circles
The mirror of gravestones

On the road where gamblers shine
Heroes like rivers rolling to the sea
Poet readings sigh in history
The beats tap their feet to free jazz
Slowly the shadow drives the wind
The magic hour fades and the dust settles
Fire passed by the seers of art
We read biographies of bold alleys

The bells of Notre Dam ring
Along the Seines painters gather
Porcelain shrines decorated in dying flowers
Sleep in towers with winding stairways
Hands tied by stolid fate
All these questions hide in dusky caves
Sometimes the stars look like cold ice
Ideals punished by the ticking clock

Here comes the tide washing everything
All this desolate stench
All this waste
Now the sun seems just the same
Centuries move like angels
What really matters is the day is bright
Meaning the clarity of generations
These ancient alphabets are written on time

Time to live because time only has so much time

Gems of Love

Sea of stars spread Scarborough wings
Bright axis where bucolic light sings
Halo of ice shimmers like azure fire
Kyanite shelters unfettered desire
Bright night snow like tanzanite romance
Blood blossoms tribes of ceremonial dance
Ribbons of Anglo Saxon beryl
Chimes ring throughout the world
Music incarnates living crystal ghosts
Spanish soul dreams hot onyx rainbows

We celebrate virgin forests of time
Bamboo thighs ripe with topaz and thyme
Amethyst heals the euphoric citrine
Pearls garnish the shaman seas
Butterflies in valleys of color
Your dress of lilies and heliodor
Children dance out of emetine centuries
Celebrate velvet parrots flying free
Every dream peering in the heights
Opal, zircon, sapphires, Alexandrite

Journey together with feathers of joy
Love has come to deserts of turquoise
See the ancient constellations sigh
Herculean winds and hurricanes cry
Dress amidst the ghost sage
Bricks from fortresses of jade
Peridot and ancient royal rubies
Swim amidst mermaid’s liquid dreams
Drums roll like Gaelic emerald islands
Wrought iron sired in purple suns

Sing my love like swarthy goldfinch croon
We are lands of ancient Scapolite moons
Leather sumptuous as mauve meadows
Wear coral reeves in your betrothed soul
Tourmaline courts the moonstone fire
Bring scarves of Aphrodite’s sphene desire
We are the Chrysoberyl rings of rituals truth
Wedding bells, tides, rivers, magenta pools
Brass bed of passionate roses grow
We enter ceremonies of diamonds and gold

Generations pass the gems of endearing love

Granite walls like times art
Voice of eternal angels
Winds, the metaphor of soul
Drink by the river of life

Music comes out of the solitude
Out of the places of spirit
Blood as mystical as time

Feel the ragged stones
Feel the dawn like birth
Circles of children’s angels
Turquoise like peyote of blue joy
Visions where jewels pray
Cactus and red sunsets
Rest in clay valleys of stars
Scorpions in ancient caves
Rattlesnakes in the Apache sun

Ghost towns
Old wagon wheels in dreams
Back into star fields
Back into freedom
The future like a dream catcher
Forward when the tribes meet
Dream and walk north
Eagles fly free
Hear the buffalo
Hear the song of the stars
Let your bones feel life

Laurels Of Green

Trees filled with starlight
Wise rivers in the root of life
Cedar leaves banners of Solomon
White pine laugh with the elves
Poems of the ancient sequoias
Whispering forests by the sea
We are the fallen race of men
They have not been banished
They are free with no guilt or shame
They know no war like strife of man

They speak of the fire from above
We walk softly on velvet moss
Wild flowers, apple orchards, ferns
My darling have you heard?
Lets go out tonight in the moonlight
Blueberries grow free and wild
Eagles filled with grace and joy
Oak and basswood, grapevines
The grass awaits the savory rain
Solitude walks in the morning dew

Have you seen the magic islands?
Decorated with lavish palm trees
Coconuts, pineapples, breadfruit grow
Sandy beaches lit with tropic sun
Volcanoes rise like spires of mystery
Paradise by a sea of green blue dreams
Beads of seeds with spells of shamans
A crown of green that rules the night
Hear tides crash into the mountains side
Rain forests with tendrils of Eden

Tread on bareback mountains gloom
Where winds sing pure and free
Steep as love near precipitous gorges
Beauty walks amidst clouds and rainbows
Waterfalls fill with pristine melting snow
Streams feed the rivers of unyielding myth
Forests of shining green fill the valley
Stars glisten through the pines of night
Like ancient eyes that guard the earth
This land is filled with a mystic glow

Lovers of the great father sun
Old like legends of gnomes and moonbeams
No guile or pretense no masks to wear
Violets, peonies, orchids and the rose
Lilies on ponds and fields
Graced with the voice of song birds
Breezes in your hair of gold
Tales of the winds of old
When the trees ruled in gentle peace
Lovers need the laurels of green

Eternal Forests

Fate circles the moon of desire
We are the earth circling time
Her kiss has rivers with deer
Eagles fly over cliffs of granite
Lovers of ember centuries
Past the tears past the fears
The thunder of buffalo herds
Mountain streams like Eden
No armies or galleons
Oak grow as the mighty wind
Our bed has ancestry

Lovers share their dreams
When the land was open
No signs, no ownership
Meadows of stars shine
We are the future laughter
We are the dreams of warriors
They know they must die
They know they must be brave
Feel them in your bright kiss
Passion filled with battles
Feel their canoes along the waters

Your arms are their arms
Kiss your warriors that stand
They are dying for a way of life
Their blood cries from sacred ground
Your eyes like doves
Your dreams of fire and broken arrows
Hold me like a shaman of stolen land
Share your joy and sorrow
Ghost of sweet streams and feathers
Making love by quiet rivers
Warriors that once blessed the sky

The legions come with their chains
They bring reservations
They bring peace treatise with broken tongues
Love me on this hot bed of soul
The night has ancient eyes
Hear the wind bring tears of Cochise
See the shadows like war dances
See the broken wings of the hawk
We must kiss the future when morning rules
We must remember all their visions
Love is a circle of great seasons

Blend into me like a thousand full moons
Tecumseh sighs in the Ohio valley
Make them move west until they are gone
My love the land cries in your heart
These braves of the new world
Panther in the sky
Trail of tears in your loving thighs
We love in hidden valleys and cold mountains
Sacred burial grounds whisper
Let me hold your warrior soul
I am your lover here and now yet pierced

We are ancient lovers waiting for eternal forests

Ghosts Of The Full Moon

Every moonbeam radiates joy
Sycamore trees in shadows of the sea
Savannah grass in green waves
Mystic winds blow the ancient souls
Let the fingers of night caress
Let the feelings sigh like a shaman
See the buffalo graze under the stars
Naked stars that pry memories
Stars of the future birth
Angel night where awe sails on time

We are temples
We are spiritual
We are part of the ghost world
Pearls of emerald waves
Seagulls fly like sailors souls

Onyx moon of silver ancestry
Valley of Kidron and golden tombs
Dreams walk the hallowed corridors
Touch the sacred wells deep in the sky
Irish fields green with souls
Ghosts of the Great Barrier Reef
Eyes like wandering lions
Buried inside the Great Wall of China
Castles along the Seines
Ships rise in the galaxies

Have you felt the shivers of the moors?
The ancient ones of the full moon
Villages appear in hallways of sleep
Words from the winds of love
Flaming swords with two edges
Gates where living waters flow
Caravans of stars
Desert visions
Black Sea silk
Her ecstasy is in a room of mirrors

Michael Angelo’s bust emanates
Rembrandt in the silent museum
Raphael grounded in sanity
Yellow lamp of ancient quills
Whale oil sires the ancient graves
Icy waves of the mariners vault
Stairways in a New Orleans house
Night as quiet as fear
Have your felt the river of night?
Have you seen green eyes stare?
Lovers feel a stranger in their bed
Do you believe in vampires? I do
Van Gogh was haunted

Soon you will hover
Soon we will be the night
Islands of Jules Verne
Opium dens of Calcutta
Tibetan monks chant
Impudent vengeance never sleeps
Sword of Spartacus revels in anger
Magnolia slaves of the plantations lair
Red eyes, keep a night light on
Avenues of Hades belladonna
Byron dressed in black velvet
Jim Morrison at a séance
Edgar Allen Poe knew the night

Indigo trees in the wind
Mango ghosts
The Nile where cobra’s laugh
Brazilian rosewood dreams
Spanish ghosts of Mediterranean blood
Tireless Volga a sage of time
Ethereal eyes like a slaughter
Tribes are wandering the silt fields
Mountains ghosts
Celtic rivers of the vivid mind
Can you feel their candles?
The wings of night flutter
Shadows merge breathing constellations
The wind blows the curtain lace
They gather in costumes under moonlight

On seeing Miss S. T. E. crossing the Hudson

Tis she, upon the sapphire flood,
Whose charms the world surprise,
Whose praises, chanted in the wood,
Are wafted to the skies,

To view the heaven of her eyes,
Where'er the light barque moves,
The green hair'd sisters, smiling, rise
From out their sea-girt groves.

E'en Neptune quits his glassy caves,
And calls out from afar,
'So Venus look'd, when o'er the waves
'She drove her pearly car.'

He bids the winds to caves retreat,
And there confin'd to roar:
'But here,' said he, 'forbear to breathe,
'Till Susan comes on shore.'

Dark Rooms

Tin cans, tin hearts
The moon wrangles my nerves
Beauty is a dark heart
Beauty comes out at night
When cat eyes shine like black silk

Count your money
Who can buy time?
The illusive dimension of time
Time that takes you to your grave
Time that shows us we are very small
You’re in control of so little
Ragged souls know what a smile means

I wished I could have walked with Pablo
His poems by the sea
His love of women
Drink deep from the wine of time
The purple violet bliss of a kiss
Tender touch amidst all thorns

Hear the tides like a choir
Marvel at the stars
Gold is just a rich color
It's time for me to leave these dark rooms
