Three Weeks
Week one may span eternity as Time
Effect and Cause entwine in timeless thread,
Ending endings, - sequencing sublime
Karmic conscience wakes from fountainhead.
One week begins a journey which, through rhyme,
Now overflows from fiction, looks ahead,
Extends to fact - intact can mountains climb.
Words worlds link, inklings ink and paper wed,
Expelling inconsistencies as verse,
Empowers threads whick knit what’s said, what’s read,
Knows no inhibitions, must reverse
The litanies of habit most rehearse
While heart to heart, once far apart, are lead
Over storms to calm as cares disperse.
Week three we welcome now with open arms
Each greeting each will meet sweet dreams sans dread,
Efforts rewarded soon shall be instead.
Kaleidoscopic and eternal charms
Triumph over former fears or qualms
Harmony and happiness ahead
Restore flawed confidence some chip embed,
Extend warm welcome where love on love fed, -
Ever blossoms equal, begs no alms...

End Of The Week
I get out of work
And then I throw away all of my cares
I get out of work
And then I wash the week out my hair
Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday
Its hard as could be
But by old friday evening
Were free, were free, were free
End of the week
The weekend started
Been working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Youre tasting freedom
No one to push you around
End of the week
And life has a reason
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Street are alive
You know everybodys going somewhere
You put on the slide
You gotta beat the crowd just everywhere
And all the music all the dancing
Get you so high
And all that sweet romancing
Oh my, oh my, oh my
End of the week
The weekend started
Working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Feels good now
Feels good now
End of the week
End of the week
Its real good now
Real good now

Week In Week Out
IIs there something more?
Surely there must be
You can't lose everything
So you're quite happy
To live with nothing more
Than a life-long shopping list
You tick off on credit
Well you'll pay for it
Week in and week out
Your lucky charms will always let you down
Maybe next week, we'll see
Maybe
You stand in life completely still
Feel really truly unfulfilled
Week in week out
Where are you going to turn?
When all ambition fails?
Why try any more
If human nature's stale?
Invite the hand of God
To touch the lucky few
There's no such thing as God
Nor easy money too?
Week in and week out
These lucky charms will always let you down
Maybe next week, we'll see
Maybe
You stand in life completely still
Feel really truly unfulfilled
Week in week out
Week in and week out
Your lucky charms will always let you down
Maybe next week, we'll see
Maybe
You stand in life completely still
Feel really truly unfulfilled
Week in week out

Last Week
Oh, the new-chum went to the backblock run,
But he should have gone there last week.
He tramped ten miles with a loaded gun,
But of turkey of duck saw never a one,
For he should have been there last week,
They said,
There were flocks of 'em there last week.
He wended his way to a waterfall,
And he should have gone there last week.
He carried a camera, legs and all,
But the day was hot and the stream was small,
For he should have gone there last week,
They said,
They drowned a man there last week.
He went for a drive, and he made a start,
Which should have been made last week,
For the old horse died of a broken heart;
So he footed it home and he dragged the cart --
But the horse was all right last week,
They said,
He trotted a match last week.
So he asked all the bushies who came from afar
To visit the town last week
If the'd dine with him, and they said "Hurrah!"
But there wasn't a drop in the whisky jar --
You should have been here last week,
He said,
I drank it all up last week!

In A Week Or Two
(james house/gary burr)
In a week or two
I would have been ready
I would have known what to say
But I missed my chance
When the words I love you
Came just a little too late
In a week or two
I was gonna bring you diamonds
In a week or two
A long, long string of pearls and
We wouldve run down to the river at night
Sailed away, just me and you
In a week or two
A little more time
Was all I needed
But somehow fall became spring
But put off today
What you can do tomorrow
Sometimes you dont do a thing
In a week or two
I was gonna bring you diamonds
In a week or two
A long, long string of pearls and
We wouldve run down to the river at night
Sailed away, just me and you
In a week or two
These words in my heart never had a chance to be heard
But Im telling you now for all that its worth
In a week or two
I was gonna bring you diamonds
In a week or two
A long, long string of pearls and
We wouldve run down to the river at night
Sailed away, just me and you
In a week or two

The Greatest Line
What was the greatest
line of verse ever written?
I know a secret...
the greatest line...
the greatest line of verse
ever written an eternal rhyme
a rhyme that sings
seeds of potent peace
through an entire universe
that sings throughout time
“You must love ADONAI
your God with your whole heart
and your whole soul
and your whole strength.”
“You must love your neighbour
As you love yourself.” Matthew 22: 35-40.
“Peace On Earth and
Good Will To All Men”
Harmony Throughout Eternity
God Dwells In The Heart
Of All Men Who Worship
Their Lord Sovereign Creator
Throughout All Eternity
With Blessed Love
For All Glorious Creation
Harmony Throughout Eternity

Baby's Age
She came with April blooms and showers;
We count her little life by flowers.
As buds the rose upon her cheek,
We choose a flower for every week.
A week of hyacinths, we say,
And one of heart's-ease, ushered May;
And then because two wishes met
Upon the rose and violet --
I liked the Beauty, Kate, the Nun --
The violet and the rose count one.
A week the apple marked with white;
A week the lily scored in light;
Red poppies closed May's happy moon,
And tulips this blue week in June.
Here end as yet the flowery links;
To-day begins the week of pinks;
But soon -- so grave, and deep, and wise
The meaning grows in Baby's eyes,
So VERY deep for Baby's age --
We think to date a week with sage!

First Week/last Week... Carefree
Can we run that again
Is that a womans voice I hear?
I said, lets wait and see. Ill see for myself
Thats a phrase I repeat
To myself
Made a reference to me and
Thats myself too
What progress I have made the first week
First week
First week
First week
Every sentence I use
Refer to women and their names
I heard the voice first last week
I heard it myself
Made a reference to me
Thats myself
This reports incomplete
I see for myself
Every appointment has been moved to last week
Last week
Last week
Last week
Oh...
Ah...
Oh...
I heard the voice first last week
I heard it myself
Made a reference to me
And thats myself
This reports incomplete
I see for myself
Every appointment has been been moved to last week
Last week
Last week
Last week
Oh...
Ah...
Oh...

Wednesday Week
The movies save on conversation
And the tv saves on sight
We met in a head-on collision
So I would say our chances would be slight
You can lead and I will follow
See us dancing cheek to cheek
Youll remember me tomorrow
But you wont give a damn by wednesday week
Say you love me until you do so
Joso singing just like caruso
Three little words roll off your tongue
Somehow your face just doesnt look so young
You say you want to strike a bargain
Now there is no need to speak
You say you want to learn the jargon
But you wont give a damn by wednesday week
You start acting like a zombie
Someone wants your piece of cake
You think you want to jump up on me
But you wont give a damn by wednesday week
Oh what a letdown when the battle was finally won
One little breakdown and then it was over and done
I wish I had your confidence
Its love and not coincidence
Do you say these words to everyone ?
Youre fantastic, youre terrific
Your excellence is almost scientific
You took the words out of my mouth
You put the tongue into my cheek
But Id better lose my memory by wednesday week

Why Is There No Happiness
Why is there no “happiness….”
Having no heart to pulling apart
Hearing the same words over and over
Dieing is for the week…..
Wanting to cry but cant theres no tears to fall
Eyes are dry turning in to dust
wanting to go on to fined a preppies
To an answer for “Why is there no happiness”
Walking a lonely on this rode
What lese to no where
Looking ahead to see something new
A sine never been seen by anyone
Saying there is no happiness…
For the people who don’t want to get hurt.....

It Is Like A Tape
Better things!
Her heart is deeply rooted on this love;
And, her beauty shines on her face always! !
However, a week after her flow was her muse of love.
Soft, slow, sweet! !
And like a week to her flow;
But, her heart is deeply rooted on this love!
And, it is like a tape when,
You hear the melody of her sweet aroma around.

Eve- Song
I span and Eve span
A thread to bind the heart of man;
But the heart of man was a wandering thing
That came and went with little to bring:
Nothing he minded what we made,
As here he loitered, and there he stayed.
I span and Eve span
A thread to bind the heart of man;
But the more we span the more we found
It wasn't his heart but ours we bound.
For children gathered about our knees:
The thread was a chain that stole our ease.
And one of us learned in our children's eyes
That more than man was love and prize.
But deep in the heart of one of us lay
A root of loss and hidden dismay.
He said he was strong. He had no strength
But that which comes of breadth and length.
He said he was fond. But his fondness proved
The flame of an hour when he was moved.
He said he was true. His truth was but
A door that winds could open and shut.
And yet, and yet, as he came back,
Wandering in from the outward track,
We held our arms, and gave him our breast,
As a pillowing place for his head to rest.
I span and Eve span,
A thread to bind the heart of man!

Bright Eyes Gleam
My days are spent in trances
while all my nightly dreams
no light know where your glances
are absent, their bright gleams
reverse sad circumstances
as sharing's warming streams
link heart to heart. The chance is
enchanting as Life's schemes
respond to Love's advances
in harmony which beams
from both as spark advances
from Earth to Air like steam
ascending as romance is -
like strawberries and cream
or never ending dances
dreams populate as teems
imagination, - stance is
as mirrored damascene, -
sublime state which perchance is
of all life’s joys supreme
that happiness enhances
when eyes cue bright eyes' gleam …

Thirty Eight Years...time really got wings!
Braving through the ocean of emotions...
Life's journey....38 years whizzed by..
Time has wings and it really did fly..
Twas a long journey, life's emotional battle and managed to survive
When from heaven came in two angels to my dreams to revive...
So much love, joy, laughter, tears that each dawning day met.
Made the uncertainty the confusion so easy rapidly to forget..
Unmoved by the passing expected storms with many a weep..
Helped shape my life to daringly climb the mountains so steep..
then came another sweet angelic two with the blessing from above..
It filled my heart with the sweetest fragrance of eternal love..
Sharing individually, collectively days, a many that were not a song
It so true.. almost a half a century and we manage to trudge along..
through the years a journey that keeps still a sailing in the same majestic fleet
till the angels call and hopefully in the land of no return more happiness we meet!
Were you that 19 year old in dark glasses, the drummer that came so long long ago
I was ust seventeen and half that photo of you in my heart lives on forever more....tnx

Disappointments
A Disappointment can be, my friend, a detour by God unto a better end.
When things do not go as planned, you can sometimes see God’s Hand.
Friend, a small inconvenient delay, could be God preparing a better way.
Moving today’s plan into tomorrow, could be saving you grief and sorrow.
Friend, God at times will intervene, to avoid a problem that can’t be seen.
Even though it doesn’t make sense, in God you can have full confidence.
For who had thought by killing Christ, man would enter into Eternal Life.
God’s ways are not ours friend, and God’s thoughts are higher than men.
Friend, God will never lead you astray, no matter what all men may say.
God knows the beginning and the end, and He’ll guide you safely friend.
And you my friend will never lose, when it’s Christ’s lead that you choose.
As Shepherd Christ guides His sheep, from day to day and week to week.
He guards His flock very carefully, from hidden dangers they can not see.
Christ will change your chosen path, and this to avoid any potential wrath.
He faithfully watches all His sheep, when they’re awake and when asleep.
And Christ lovingly cares for His fold, all of His sheep both young and old.
Even though we may choose a plan, God directs the steps of each man.
As The Shepherd He does His part, to guide and direct a wayward heart.
So when you are discouraged friend, remember you don’t know the end,
Or the next step on this journey, as Jesus guides you safely into Eternity.

Painful Effect Of Your Love
Thoughts of daydream, Swear of love,
With you, wrecked heart like sharp thorn,
And mesmerizing reminiscence of that strolling
Made heart like quarry and impell it to moun.
And memories of your sensual grin,
At my silliness and that roaming,
On that 'diluge full' eve'
Grimaced ma' heart, and
That droplets proves stingful tears now.
Shall you move ahead;
A corner in your heart,
Always missed a sensitive carer,
And felt that loneliness that can never be filled.
And not this only wreak me,
It also let your whole life
Sans happiness, sans love, sans Sweet Sweetheart.

Hidden Emphasis - Acrostic Sonnet – Ideogram Images
Incorporating verse in gilded frame
Does not, as such, suffice, - vice to conform.
Each should follow conscience, - smile, rile, charm, scorn,
Open communication’s blinds. The aim: -
Grace, harmony, unite undying flame.
Reader reaching reads writer’s fact and form,
And from lettered morse ex…tracts the uniform.
Melts surface mask, tunes head to heart too tame.
Impression web we spin, verse threads, to claim
Mankind for man, for freedom, and perform
A sacred quest whose source rejects the ‘norm’,
Grafts sixth sense insight rich which Norms prename.
Each line’s a coded thread ink linked through rhyme,
Song which should find a way to challenge Time.

Day Of The Dread
Day Of The Dread
Written by: Wilfred Mellers, Sunday, March 4,2012, @ 12: 20 PM
Rose red yet no one speaks for the dead
The blind was foolishly led
No place to lay my weary head
No one listens to the words I've said
Empty is my lonesome bed
Hanging on by a thread
Happiness hopelessly fled
By bliss I was misled
All the books I never read
So many words left unsaid
I thought I was happily wed
Precautions I should have taken instead
The heart hungers unfed
Broken it hides in the shed
Buttered both sides was my bread
The spirit bashed against the bulkhead
Lifeless it rests on the seabed
Nothing it has left to look for ahead
Unfastened fitted bedspread
For lines I never proofread
Sweet words listened by the dread
Arms were always outspread
Forgiveness I once pled
Gold has turned to poisoned lead
Rivers run red
Letters immediately I shred
Shorten are the wings I spread
Sour now is the sweetbread
Descending on a paper sled
Burdens get over fed
Prepared woefully to unwed
Needles now unthread
Ascending struggles the moped
Blues turn a bloody red
Words often misread
Never should I have let you into my head

Welcome To The Working Week
Now that your pictures in the paper being rhythmically admired
And you can have anyone that you have ever desired,
All you gotta tell me now is why, why, why, why.
Welcome to the workin week.
Oh I know it dont thrill you, I hope it dont kill you.
Welcome to the workin week.
You gotta do it till youre through it so you better get to it.
All of your family had to kill to survive,
And theyre still waitin for their big day to arrive.
But if they knew how I felt theyd bury me alive.
Welcome to the workin week.
Oh I know it dont thrill you, I hope it dont kill you.
Welcome to the workin week.
You gotta do it till youre through it so you better get to it.
I hear you sayin, hey, the citys alright,
When you only read about it in books.
Spend all your money gettin so convinced
That you never even bother to look.
Sometimes I wonder if were livin in the same land,
Why dyou wanna be my friend when I feel like a juggler
Running out of hands?
Welcome to the workin week, oh, welcome to the working week.

Twins Celebrate
Forty words:
Twin love floats on air
the fourth week of September;
happy smiles are everywhere
each year we remember.
In fantasy you speak my name
setting my heart and soul aflame
because it's birthday time again
the fourth week in September.
