Page of Aquarius - Acrostic Sonnet
Poverty, plague, cyclone none prevent
Are global threats. Mankind blindly bumbles
Gestating his own future as he stumbles
Erratically from time to time misspent.
Our days are numbered. Nothing may cement
Freedom as we knew it – which pride humbles –
And balanced progress. Hope now crumbles,
Questions Hope itself as man’s descent
Unleashes forces few control, - unspent
Agression, earthquake exploitation. Grumbles
Rise as learning’s tower teeters, tumbles.
In the absence of alternatives, well-meant
Unstable platitudes are not enough,
Sound hollow, - Nature’s rumbles don’t sound bluff ...

Were There Hope
I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.
But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

Why
Why?
My human eyes gaze at the sky,
The Beauty imprisoned by the lie,
My tormented soul wishes to fly,
My body aching, begging to die.
Why?
Beauty sleeps in the heart,
True infinity in everyone's hope,
Reality and serenity so far apart,
Oblivion promised at the top of the slope.
Why?
Constrained by man's domination,
Twisted by vanity and frustration,
Fearful of the only solution,
Absolute peace in emancipation.
Why?
The dreamer refuses to live a lie,
Impossibility no matter how hard he may try,
His broken wings, the final sigh,
Again Beauty slumbers, humanity's cry.
Why?
God is dead, humanity crumbles,
Goodness has fled, Beauty stumbles,
The truth is red, away life tumbles,
Cruelty is lead, wickedness rumbles.
Why?
We are blind, we can't see,
Our kind is extinct, we must flee,
Hope we cannot find, so let us be,
No solace of mind, never again peace.

My Hope Is In You
Rise and shine.
Rise above the barriers.
Rise above conspiracy.
Rise, my hope is in you.
I hope for a better day,
Tomorrow...
I hope for a great weather,
Tomoroww...
I hope for joy and success,
Your success.
My hope is in you.
My hope is in you.
I hope peer pressure
Won't mislead you..
I hope you understand,
Fun doesn't mean, ,
VIOLENCE, RISK and DANGEROUS!
I hope you live up,
Not to my expectations,
But to your possible opportunities.
Just be a kid, , ,
And i'll be a caring parent.
Just listen, , ,
And i'll inspire you.
My hope for this country
Is in you.
For you are the future
Of the nation.
Choose education,
Choose alcohol and drug
Free life.
Choose success not sorrow.
Because my hope is in you.
My hope is in you.
Be robust and intrepid,
Be courageous and considerate,
Be wise and focus on your
Future because,
My hope is in you.

If Hope
If hope could be a color
It would be blue,
as blue as the sky.
If hope could be a taste,
It would be a ripe strawberry.
If hope could be a smell,
It would be the smell of a rose.
If hope could be a sound,
It would be the sound of a harp.
If hope could be an animal,
It would be a kitten purring.
If we just had alittle hope,
We would not have to say,
If Hope, And know that hope is.

Sonnet: Some Things Will Happen
Who can prevent the fury of Nature?
Who can prevent the clouds from raining down?
Who can prevent God’s pre-destined future?
Who can prevent the artiste turning clown?
Who stops a fruit from ripening in less days?
Who stops the ripened fruit from falling down?
Who stops a seed from sprouting in one place?
Who stops the grass from being daily mown?
Some things in Nature happen so early;
Some things in Nature fail to happen right;
Some things in Nature happen finally;
Who brings the clouds that block the good Moonlight?
There is a time for death and every birth;
There is a time for everything on earth.

What is meant? What sent?
WHAT IS MEANT? WHAT SENT?
Impediments lament
not in themselves, content
within to document
the signs which represent
Fate’s patterns which serpent
beyond what impatient
minds see evidence patent.
For what is meant? what sent?
What is lent intent
upon safe tent, soft scent,
when statements can't be bent
to complement hopes' vent?
No compliments prevent
time spent, ascent, descent, -
can circumvent Chance pent
preparing element
to catalyze, cement,
success when two consent
to celebrate event -
of all most excellent -
when selfless sentiment
expels self-evident
expediency meant
to supplement the rent.

One day at a time
One day at the time we will finally prevail,
We might hope for the best though the worst come forth, never giveup because that's how this life challenges our objectives.
Never make the life you live this moment an excuse to your failures because struggle isn't a place you been to, you might be born in poverty yet you stand the expedition of the future you lead.
Burden is an illusion we mankind refuse to overcome, most of us are living for the moment,
I guess it's true when they say,
'teeth do not see poverty',
I hope one day we will finally resolute.
It's our duty to surpass the illusion we call an obstacle by having dreams and goals to better our future, because your tomorrow begins with the choice you make today.
One day at a time we will finally prevail,
They say education is the key to success I never deny it though I believe an intellectual mind is the key to your better life, never choose friends who are denigrate but delegate and never become reluctant because if you believe you will become who you intend to be.

Once More I Rise
Once more I rise
My eyes, my lungs filled with dust
From the arena floor
You are too strong, my worthy foe
The crowd clamors for my blood
Once more I rise
One last time before I fall, finally and forever
But I do not rise for you
Nor certainly for the pleasure of jeering voices
Fomenting hate, though they know not whom
They so despise
In a way, I die for them
I represent their dark souls
In my disgrace, I somehow give them hope
Hope that they too can vanquish
Their enemies
But I do not choose to rise for them
And I most certainly do not rise for you,
Though, you are worthy
Of this final stand
A chance to prove the full strength of your hand
No, I do not rise for you but
For myself
My pride mostly
It is all that remains of my miserable life
Pride in the one I had hoped to be:
Victor in this dark arena
And so, as I rise
It is only pride that rises
And only pride that will fall
The rest of who I am or ever was
Remains buried in the dust
Nevermore to rise
Stay
This week dragged past me so slowly
The days fell on their knees
Maybe Ill take something to help me
Hope someone takes after me
I guess theres always some change in the weather
This time I know we could get it together
If I did casually mention tonight
That would be crazy tonight
Stay - thats what I meant to say or do something
But I never say is stay this time
I really meant to so bad this time
cause you can never really tell when somebody
Wants something you want too
Heartwrecker, heartwrecker, make me delight
Right is so vague when it brings someone new
This time tomorrow Ill know what to do
I know its happened to you
Stay - thats what I meant to say or do something
But what I never say is stay this time
I really meant to so bad this time
cause you can never really tell when somebody
Wants something or wants to stay
Thats what I meant to say or do something
But what I never say is stay this time
I really meant to so bad this time
cause you can never really tell when somebody
Wants something you want too

Solid As a Rock
Do not fool yourself with beliefs,
You have the power to prevent another's progress.
What you do is further cement your own defeat.
And in time your stagnation,
Becomes as solid as a rock.

My Hope
MY HOPE FOR BETTER DAYS,
MY HOPE FOR BRIGHTER DAYS,
MY HOPE NEVER DIES CAUSE HOPE IS WHAT KEEPS ME ALIVE.
TO HOPE, TO DREAM, TO BECOME THE IMPOSSIBLE. TO PROVE WRONG TO ALL
WHO DOUBT, TO PROVE WRONG TO MY INEER SELF, CAUSE MY HOPE
IS ALL I HAVE, WHEN ALL IS GONE AND FORGOTTEN MY HOPE WILL KEEP ON
LIVING FOR ALL MANKIND.

Finally recover
When the mood is right
Looking up into a neon sky
Time the mean takes over
Guess it's been too long
Since the last time that I tried to fly
[Chorus:]
Finally I find
When I lose control
Inside my body crumbles
It's like therapy
For my broken soul
Inside my body crumbles
Only needs a moment
Just to get away
Hope the stress won't mess up every day
No one final question
And I never doubt
Everything is gonna be okay
[Chorus]
Insecure would be my sign
(I don't know if I'll be alright

The Mother Nature
The forces of nature
Are so immensely over
What we can expect
The mind to comprehend
At their time they destroy
Plans and actions at bay
Then tough to go back
To the drawing board
To find how we can move on
Without forgetting to mourn
Our already gone families
Swollen by the big earthly bellies
Who can control Mother Nature?
Our forefathers failed to understand
The scientist didn’t recognize
The geologist still trying
To put up a clear logic
But Mother Nature control itself
We cry but no difference
When it is it's time to struck
We are left shaking
Vulnerable and emotionally destroyed
The forces of Mother Nature
No man can match

Ring For Freedom
Let the bells ring for freedom
Let the bells ring out loud
And hope the people again will hear them
While answering back with a shout.
Let the bells begin their ringing
A ringing that will never end
And hope the people will hear our singing
Then from peace we will send.
Hope the bells will start their ringing
By ringing loud and singing long
Pray the people will sing and shout
And to that sound, a peaceful song.
Let the bells ring for freedom
Hope that ringing will never cease
I hope the people will hear them ringing
And all together in its peace.
Hand in hand and arm in arm
With smiles and laughs that stand together
Trouble nowhere and nowhere is there harm
Hope they will keep it from and and forever.
Let the bells all ring in rhyme
Now and forever to the end of time
A time to hold and a time to smile
To dream once again just like a child.
Let the bells ring for freedom
Now and forever for peace to send
Let the people hear them ringing
Hope that music will never end.

Hope is the eternal tool in the survival kit for mankind. We hope for a little luck, we hope for a better tomorrow, we hope — although it is an impossible hope — to somehow get out of this world alive. And if we can't and don't, then it is enough to rejoice in our short time here and to remember how much we loved the view.

House Of Sand
(words & music by grant - baum - kaye)
Oh you can take a whole lot of sand
And build a castle on the beach
And though you mold it and you plan
Still you got nothing in your reach
One little slip and it tumbles down
One wrong step and it crumbles all around
Like a house without love, thats sure to fall apart
A house of sand is an empty work of art
You can build a tower of clay
But if you ask my advice
Well it is worthless as I say
I got no heart its cold as ice
One little slip and it tumbles down
One wrong step and it crumbles all around
Like a house without love, thats sure to fall apart
A house of sand is an empty work of art
One little slip and it tumbles down
One wrong step and it crumbles all around
Like a house without love, thats sure to fall apart
A house of sand is an empty work of art
A house of sand is an empty work of art
A house of sand is an empty work of art

I hope you enjoy your time away
I hope you enjoy your time away
Those awesome times,
Those lovely days
I hope you enjoy your time away
I hope you enjoy your time away
When you come back
I’ll probably have turned gay (with Shaun: S?)
I hope you enjoy your time away
I hope you enjoy your time away
With family and friends
What more can I say
I hope you enjoy your time away

Hope: A worthless Virtue
Wherever you find Mankind, two plagues follow Him: War and poverty, both preventable but impossible to eradicate. The reason: greed. The sorrier of the two is poverty; war sometimes is a necessity, poverty never is.
Man is forever looking for more but always that pursuit is misdirected. He never includes his fellow human beings, only his narrow clique’s self-interests. The rest are left to fend for themselves. Often an impossible task to achieve, the result is poverty.
Once a victim of this state of being, what is left is hope- worthless hope.
The poorest are the ones who hope
They hope against (all) hope it seems.
They pray to god to help them cope
Yet fruitless as their faded dreams
They hope someday for better stead
A worthless virtue I suspect
Adding to misery instead
That propagates in that respect.
Look to the past to see their plight:
Dreaming of castles in the sky;
But that isn't all, not by a long sight:
The chance it will happen? In a pigs eye!
The “haves” are a self-centered breed
Who rarely help people in need.

The Dark Continent
'Africa my beginning, Africa my end. I was born here and I will die here'
Africa you bear my hopes and fears
Poverty, famine, crime and AIDS are words which plague Mother Africa's name
These demons bring me shame
While people try to make Africa better, a few let the hardship overpower them
Shame on them
They give up hope and go about their knavish ways
Even though there's hope on the horizon, be that as it may
They continue to destroy what little Mother Africa has
Africa is no longer what she was
'Mother Africa is weeping'
Yet a new dawn may be creeping
Mother Africa and her children are beautiful, they know their place in nature
Even though hardship may corrupt good nature
In the name of ALL that is good, I hope Africa will rise one day
And we'll stop the suffering before she frays
The words upon a famous poet, I hear
'Africa my beginning, Africa my end. I was born here and I will die here'

Hope?
Hope, anything that one wants, and at
the moment of 'hope' they do not have.
If hope were a feeling, I would hope,
it be one of honesty and integrity.
I would hope it would be love and empathy.
If hope were a food, I would hope it
would be filled with nourishment.
If hope were music, I would hope, it
was the kind of music, that you loved.
If hope were a sound, I would hope it
would by a symphony of love.
If hope were a religion, I would hope it
was your religion.
If hope were belief, then I would hope,
that belief would be, that there is one
Supreme Being; who is by-lingual and
of all faiths, and all creeds and colors.
If hope were knowledge, I would hope,
it had patience, understanding, the
ability of comprehending the other
persons point of view. I would also hope,
that it had an unquenchable thirst,
to continue to learn by experience and
research.
If hope could be seen, I would hope, all
would see, the good in their fellow man.
If hope were a wish, I would hope
that all your dreams, and ambitions
came true.
If hope were you...if hope were me, I
would hope, we never lost sight of
those less fortunate. I would hope
we would never be so self-centered
or busy, that we neglected to extend
a helping hand, to those in need.
Finally if you hope this ends, let me
conclude by saying....
If hope were a human, I would hope, that it
realized, that if we want a better world,
then we have to be better ourselves.
