Mistrust Defences

MISTRUST DEFENCES

MIstrust defences which outlast their use
RIde onwards, overcoming inner brake
AMounting to unjustified mistake, -
MIndful there remains no real excuse.
RIdiculous these barricades, cut loose!
AMplify harmonics, soothe heartache.
MIllstones disappear where clear minds take
RIsks to shed stale shackles, self abuse.
AMor vincit omnia, - no noose,
MIstaken trap is lust which must thirst slake,
RIpe corn’s unreaped when wild nor’easters shake.
AMbiguous motives compromise, reduce.
MIRage screens no raison-d’être retain
‘I AM in tune with you’ requires no rein.

Mistrust

The mistrust spread over the world
Where does it first unfurl
From what cocoon does it uncurl
Do fathers mistrust mothers
Do mothers mistrust fathers
Do fathers mistrust sons
Do mothers mistrust daughters
Do we trust our own selves
If trust is not found at home
If mistrust is the legacy of home
Then what hope have we
That trust will be
Born into this place
Love of self and self alone
Brings to us this bone of mistrust
And enfleshes to its birth.

Mistrust

How can you expect others to trust you if your trust to them you do not give
That does seem to tie in it does seem with the old saying of live and let live
You mistrust someone and they will not trust you that is part of old Murphy's law
Are you one who is truly perfect the one who does not have a flaw?
How can you expect others to trust you if kind things of them you do not say
Remember that trust is always something that does not have a one sided way,
A lack of trust can lead to war and bloodshed if you don't give trust then trust you cannot receive
How can you see eye to eye with someone if on that person you do not believe,
A lack of trust leads to division and division it can lead to hate
The one that you cannot have faith in is the one who cannot be your mate,
You cannot expect trust from others if trust to them you cannot show
If you mistrust that other person mistrust in return you will know
Mistrust only gives rise to mistrust that does seem a fair thing to say
And mistrust only can breed more mistrust that is life and life is that way.

Heart Of Glass

Ooh ooh ooh whoa.
Once i had a love and it was a gas, soon turned out had a heart of glass.
Seemed like the real thing, only to find mucho mistrust.
Love's gone behind.
Once i had a love and it was divine.
Soon found out i was losing my mind.
It seemed like the real thing but i was so blind.
Mucho mistrust.
Love's gone behind.
In between "what i find is pleasing" and "i'm feeling fine", love is so confusing.
There's no peace of mind if i fear i'm losing you.
It's just no good, you teasing like you do.
Once i had a love and it was a gas, soon turned out had a heart of glass.
Seemed like the real thing, only to find mucho mistrust.
Love's gone behind.
Lost inside.
Adorable illusion and i cannot hide.
I'm the one you're using, please don't push me aside.
We coulda made it cruising, yeah.
Yeah, riding high on love's true bluish light.
Ooh ooh ooh whoa.
Once i had a love and it was a gas, soon turned out to be a pain in the ass.
Seemed like the real thing only to find mucho mistrust.
Love's gone behind.

Trusts and mistrusts

We lost many gains by mistrust.
We gained many losses by very trust.
Yet we go on to trust and mistrust
Otherwise we may be in disgust.

why do I mistrust people?

I'd not cry without any reason,
I do long for someone with passion,
To touch me and carry me to their bosom,
Look at me with love for I moan,
After the long shout and screech,
No one care to attend,
I give up hope and start to mistrust,
No one understand the pain,
That I endure and suffer,
At the age of one month,
Until the age of eighteen months,
emotional grooming is done in the brain,
The wrong signals sent by the wrong caretakers,
I do start to mistrust all around me,
I do have the doubt at every action,
As the cloudy water settle the sediment,
At the bottom, the mistrust settles in my heart,
As long as I am alive, I have this feeling,
The feeling of pain that sowed,
In my mind when I was too young.

Meeting

Head enlaced by graceful arm,
hand encased in hand, thigh, thigh,
dreams rapture capture, soothing balm,
feeling feelings warm supply.

Lip to lip together zipped
full exchange facilitates,
trip through tenderness is tipped
to last, cleave fast, illuminates.

Thus entwined shared essence meets,
beyond desire's steep, dizzy stairs,
as bodiless embrace completes
rebirth, time both prepares, repairs.

Shared sentiments in all finds charm
as body, spirit, find release,
tender tide soothes all alarm -
scoffs at mistrust and spurns caprice.

Ego's agenda self defeats
with restive quest: ‘what' 'why’ ‘when’ ‘where’,
one leitmotif with naught competes
all complementing all – to share.

here’s no mistrust and no caprice.

all complements all, naught competes
with one leitmotif fair – to share...

Osmosis Links

Links may spontaneously flower
mysteriously in an hour.
Oasis metamorphosis,
stars bliss synonymous with kiss,
transforming through transcendent power
strong bond long longed for, to endower
two hearts with hope. Analysis
is absent, gratitude remiss.
Awaiting empathetic bower,
once wandering, wide world would scour,
acceptance shared helps man and miss
to merge, defences shed, dismiss
superficial difference,
reluctance sitting on the fence.

DOUBLE RAGE

Rage reigned unreined, exploded, insane fire-bright ball.
A ggravation sheered synapses in unbridled spew,
G rating, springing the nerves’ defences too.
E viscerated system, unprepared, sharp blowtorch scorch must doubly fall,
R egrets replete, little leeway left on call to cushion harm, calm recall.

G asping for air, grasping to regain control, cool overview,
E xasperation again explodes - codes scarlet stress ball.

Turn It Around

Took the ground,
From underneath my feet.
Silent town,
Ghosts this empty street.
I see the home that once was mine,
Now just bones of former life.
Touch this page of sacred time, again,
I see you call...
You dont have to be strong for me.
I wont shoot your defences down.
Whatever happens, I want you to see
We can face it together.
And turn it around.
A new life
Grows within his hands.
Coming back
To this promised land.
And with these bones we will rebuild,
To the flesh of future life.
Giving back that sacred time, again...
You dont have to be strong for me.
I wont shoot your defences down.
Whatever happens, I want you to see,
We can face it together.
And turn it around.

Man’s Narrow Mind

Man often will disparage what he can't
Accept, control, admit or integrate.
Nor love once more what loss transforms to hate -
Strikes out at all around, mind blind, aslant.
Narrow most wilt, in fertile soil few plant
A seed to feed a well stocked future's plate.
Refusals unexpected dissipate
Rewarding sharing though this may enchant,
Or envy green display, mistrust implant
Where dark suspicion stokes a cinder grate,
Mistaking ashes for smoke's tinder bait.
Incandescence uncontrolled risks rant.
Need to control seems self-destruction, soon
Drive is perverted, pricking Trust’s balloon.

Mistrust & Self-Sacrifice

Now like scar[r]ed moth around some sacred fire
On fragile wings she flutters to and fro,
Raising expectations soon brought low,
Entertaining self-delusion's choir.
As phoenix, sacrificed to suitors’ ire,
Long has she longed for longing, sought to know
Intense emotions, feelings’ easy flow,
Not framed response to worry's red hot wire.
Growth and warmth, shared tenderness, desire,
Remain ambitions though unkept vows show
Only mistrust of motives. Fast turns slow.
When answer lies within, no magic lyre
Tunes out to in to win through from dark fears.
Here fear of self-love through rued mask appears...

Jack-ass

I've been drifting along with the same stale shoes
Loose ends tying the noose in the back of my mind
If you thought that you were making your way
To where the puzzles and pagans lay
I'll put it together: it's a strange invitation

When I wake up someone will sweep up my lazy bones
And we will rise in the cool of the evening
I remember the way that she smiled
When the gravity shackles were wild
And something is vacant when I think it's all beginning

I been drifting along with the same stale shoes
Loose ends tying the noose in the back of my mind
If you thought that you were making your way
To where the puzzles and pagans lay
I'll put it together: it's a strange invitation

Ode to equality

Although the ecstasies we feel
consist of simple things combined
into a mixture which may reveal.
Defences can be undermined
without our knowledge and consent.
By chance met opportunity
which we conveniently forget.
When faced with this predicament
we proceed with impunity
and give as much as what we get

The guilty feelings we conceal.
We try our best to reassign
but don’t succeed they are too real
and force our minds to redefine.
What was our purpose and intent?
Did we just act instinctively
and spring the trap already set.
Because we were too confident
we acted irresponsibly
which leaves worried and upset.

Can it be true? Can it be real?
that what we shared though by consent.
The pleasures which we chose to steal
are something which we should regret
We both bear guilt to some extent
surrendering too easily
to lusts we would we could forget.
It seems to be quite evident
agreement was reached mutually.
All obligations have been met.

Heroin Face

Spit out the shout of a warning
Death is an honour with doubts
So you live in the end
And you mistrust the start
Because you don't think it counts
But you'll pay for yourself
You'll pay for yourself
You're just a heroin face
You see a heroin face in the mirror
And someone is clutching your breath
And you believe in the needle of night
You're only doing your best
But you'll pay for yourself
You'll pay for yourself
You believe in the needle of night
And someone is cluthing your breath
So you mistrust the start
By always running away
But you'll never come back
You're just a heroin face
Heroin face

Hot Air - Parody Witter Bynner Spectra

Just deserted after make-up refuselled,
I, who would have snoozled, hereafter
lose laughter, appear a foozle cahoozled,
as daft as a woozle or even dafter.
The hamstrung string is bamboozled,
snaking like a hung verdict noose loose from the rafters, -
when will the West wind flow less confuselled
blowing our just desserts as afters?

Magic

Fear, anger, mistrust and nearly
Half a century of
Living in a world unfamiliar
To all but myself-
Has left me in dismay and in solitude-
Tomorrow is another day where
My morning shall be
Walking in the darkness, although
Moments away from sunrise and
Knowing that within a few hours
As I sleep- my mind shall become aware-
As if lightening has struck in some
Magical way-Fear, anger and
Mistrust shall disappear in a moment’s notice-
A different sort of sun shall rise
For me alone, shining light upon my kaleidoscopic world-
Black skies transform to cobalt blue as
A hurricane of sorts shall blow the sinister clouds away-
I shall see a rainbow rise from
Behind mountains of madness and
As the moon in its fullness disappears behind
Blossoming trees and I regain my sanity and hope,
Those alien voices shall be silenced-
Fear, anger and mistrust are hiding deep inside of a phantasmal river,
Rapidly receding and it shall only be days before
That river overflows and washes over me,
I can see those dismal clouds returning-
And all I can do is to remember words of wisdom telling me to
Grasp firmly onto those fleeting feelings of peace, hope and
Focus on the clarity of the skies above-
Feelings are so like thunderclouds- and
Finding one’s rainbow is a rarity- when lightening has struck your mind-
When feelings of fear and rage are inborn-
One never knows when the rain shall begin to fall again-
Voices that I hear are not real, and all I can do is dream
While the rain is falling until lightening strikes again-
Skies clear and although skies of cobalt blue so magnificent
Are in passing as is that phantasmal river before it overflows-
Perhaps in a different light it shall wash my tears away and hope shall remain, that
That magical sun shall someday rise for me alone and never set…
