It has been mentioned that in Trench I there is evidence of three successive stages of these defences.

Stages
Its a fine time to fall in love with you,
I aint got a single thing to do.
It happened before I knew what was going on.
I fell out and knew that I was gone.
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.
Then you left me standing all alone,
I couldnt even get you on the phone.
Were you just confused and didnt know
If you should stay or if you had to go?
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.
Now youre back and say youre gonna stay.
I wouldnt have it any other way.
Tell me its for real and let me know
Why does lovin have to come and go.
Stages keep on changing,
Stages rearranging love.

Books...are like lobster shells, we surround ourselves with 'em, then we grow out of 'em and leave 'em behind, as evidence of our earlier stages of development.

Self Praise Stages
When people are in their self praise stages...
They should be given the attention.
Today...
Very few people have hobbies,
Or interests that makes them feel proud.
When people are in their self praise stages...
They should be given the attention.
There is something about people like this,
Others would say are egotistical.
I find them to be inspirational.
So many of the others are caught up,
In backstabbings, defamation of character...
And deep they are in self deception.
So whenever I am around those,
Who are in their self praise stages...
I am amazed they are not professing a self hate.
Or in the reception of doubts and complaints.
However...
Those on stages self praising themselves,
Is a different perspective.
These folks don't have time to be introspective.
Self praising from stages most get paid to do.
This can be compared to individuals,
Who have been 'called' to administer...
A self righteousness affixed to wholesome boredom.

The Trench
It was once assumed
We stood at the same spot
By and by
The earth caved in
Surreptitiously
And there emerged
A widening trench
We now stand
A trench apart
The trench patiently gathers
All the emotions slipped into it
In the nights it sings
To wake me up
The open space echoes
With the ballads sung
To bring a smile or two
On my damp cheeks…
Wipes away my cheek
As it goes on singing
All that it gathers
From the passers-by
I smile
But somehow
There’s some difference!

It has yet to be shown by direct biochemical methods, as opposed to the indirect genetic evidence mentioned earlier, that the code is indeed a triplet code.

These Men
Men moving in a trench, in the clear noon,
Whetting their steel within the crumbling earth;
Men, moving in a trench ‘neath a new moon
That smiles with a slit mouth and has no mirth;
Men moving in a trench in the grey morn,
Lifting bodies on their clotted frames:
Men with narrow mouths thin-carved in scorn
That twist and fumble strangely at dead names.
These men know life – know death a little more.
These men see paths and ends, and see
Beyond some swinging open door
Into eternity.

Many Incidents Intended
Many incidents intended,
Has evidence as incentive.
But no one pays attention...
Or listens to what's being said,
To what is being mentioned.
These speeding times leave minds behind.
Many incidents intended,
Has evidence as incentive.
But no one pays attention...
Or listens to what's being said,
To what is being mentioned.
These speeding times leave minds behind.
These speeding times leave minds behind.

0272 Somme Day
Looks like being a fine day; how red
the poppies in the sunlight.
The whistles blow.
From the now almost home of the slit trench
Over the Top, boys! This is it!
Soon back. The slit trench
is blessedly quieter now
in its six feet.

Creating Any Reaction That Is Wished
The only evidence there is...
Seems to be the lack of it existing.
And that is proof enough,
That what one initiates...
Only has to inspire the desire
To make real what isn't.
Like any emotion...
That begins from mere suggestion.
And anyone who has ever felt,
What has not been seen...
Knows it is better left mentioned,
And described...
To gain the best affect!
Thus creating any reaction that is wished!
Especially in a controlled environment.

A lot of folks are still demanding more evidence before they actually consider Iraq a threat. For example, France wants more evidence. And you know I'm thinking, the last time France wanted more evidence they rolled right through Paris with the German flag.

Hebrews 11: 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the light of the Lord that opens the door
Reveling the light of heaven serene
the evidence of things not seen
My God has revealed the evidence
His glorious power with consequence
Healing me and making me clean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith in Christ without reservation
releaved the pain of my aberration
So open His book to see what I mean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen

Mistrust Defences
MISTRUST DEFENCES
MIstrust defences which outlast their use
RIde onwards, overcoming inner brake
AMounting to unjustified mistake, -
MIndful there remains no real excuse.
RIdiculous these barricades, cut loose!
AMplify harmonics, soothe heartache.
MIllstones disappear where clear minds take
RIsks to shed stale shackles, self abuse.
AMor vincit omnia, - no noose,
MIstaken trap is lust which must thirst slake,
RIpe corn’s unreaped when wild nor’easters shake.
AMbiguous motives compromise, reduce.
MIRage screens no raison-d’être retain
‘I AM in tune with you’ requires no rein.

Freudian Stages of Psychosexual Development of Personality
Freud found oral, anal, phallic
and genital stages of a child frolic
for his personality to grow
and if these driving forces act slow
we'll see ill-grown minds, vitriolic.
The 'Nets' show the clips of these stages to the youth.
What a Gallic charm they get seeing the truth!

The Stages Of Life
On the stages of life
many plays are performed.
Some are little dramas
while on others
large epics are presented.
Each has a different ending
of which no one can guess.
Each character plays their part
until their staring role arrives
on one of the stages of life.

Autumn Changes
This love of ours is gradually fading
Something is wrong, or somebodys faking
Autumn changes
Shifting phases
Autumn changes
Turning stages
Surely something can help to patch it up
Too many nights sitting here waiting
Too many days hoping and praying
Something inside seems to be dying
Most of the time I just feel like crying
Autumn changes
Shifting phases
Autumn changes
Turning stages
Surely something can help to patch it up
Oh yes we can, sure we can
Sure we can, sure we can
Autumn changes
Shifting phases
Autumn changes
Turning stages
Surely something can help to patch it up
Oh, yes we can, sure we can
Sure we can, sure we can

Eternity
My age in eternity
My body in stages
Forced to be unnatural…
Hiding behind walls
Cold walls
Where love cannot live...
My body ages
Merely stages…
In eternity.

I had not seen that until - and when it first came out I was told. I had not seen or been aware of all of that physical evidence. And when I saw it, I was horrified. It was so astounding to me to see that there was that much evidence.
