Karmic Churn

Life's energy's expended
in vicious circle churn
till instincts apprehended -
once contradictions mended -
are ready to discern
for nothing one needs yearn.
Who is from stars descended
to stardust must return
when once the journey ended
then karma true extended
hands memory torch to burn
to karma next in turn.

No moral is appended ~
for there is none to [l]earn...

You've Hit Me With Your Karma

I can't get myself away!
Whatever I do or say...
It's you!
Who gets me with your karma.

I can't get myself away!
It's true.
And I try to hide my drama.

No...
I can't get myself away!
Whatever I do or say...
It's you!
Who gets me with your karma.

I can't get myself away!
It's true.
And I try to hide my drama.

You've got your hooks in me.
So deep that I can't leave...
Or plead,
'Free me let me go! '

You've got this recipe,
That feeds me all my wants and needs.
I'm crawling 'whipped' and on my knees.

I can't get myself away!
Whatever I do or say...
It's you!
Who gets me with your karma.

I can't get myself away!
It's true.
And I try to hide my drama.

Oh, oh!
Trapped in and I'm locked.
Oh, oh!
Why don't I want it to stop!
Oh, oh!
What is this that you've got?
Oh, oh...
You made it easy to be weak!

I can't get myself away!
Whatever I do or say...
It's you!
Who gets me with your karma.

I can't get myself away!
It's true.
And I try to hide my drama.

Oh, ooooh...
I'm tryin' to hide my drama.
Oh, ooooh...
But you've hit me with your karma!

Karma Killer

(talking: You've been naughty...very very naughty)
Are you cut up
Or do you easily forget
Are you still around
Why haven't you managed to die yet
You could prop up the bar in hell

How do you sleep
You've never loved
Why was I never good enough
You thought you'd leave me falling forever
Karma killer

Needless to say
I guess you know I hate you
You're so full of sin
Even the devil rates you
I hope you choke
On your Bacardi and Coke

How do you breathe
Why don't you cry
How come you never ask me why
You're not a man stand and deliver
Karma killer

How do you sleep
You've never loved
Why was I never good enough
You thought you'd leave me falling forever

Karma killer
Karma killer
Karma killer
Karma killer

I hope you choke
On your Bacardi and Coke

Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me

I don't need to take revenge
Cos they're coming to get you
There's no hope for you my friend
Cos they're coming to get you

Many Roads Await

Many links extended, t[r]end outwards into light,
As rainbow drops descended dispense due dew delight.
New roads must be defended to stimulate, rewrite
Years starting, for years ended show slight reflection bright.
Right, wrong, misapprehended, are neither black nor white,
Out and inside when [bl]ended, intolerance indict.
As wheels turn, Time, suspended, prepares for further flight,
Dream theme streams are intended to startle, day and night.
Spread is each page portended as message to incite
All walls to fall, bridge mended, ways narrow dynamite
With fervence unpretended so men worldwide unite.
All roads to Rome, befriended, help ease the people's plight
Imply toil, tears expended gain better world in sight.
Tomorrow's tracks extended just future must invite.

Is Progress Over-Rated?

When choice is confiscated by little minds or might,
scope's rightful place vacated when bigotry or spite
come unanticipated to sweep away delight,
or red-tape inundated by petty parasite
as bureaucrat fat, sated, sets rules sans oversight,
those once emancipated must reclaim civil right
heed call anticipated, prepare for freedom's fight.

When equity is bended by vested interests quite
at ease corruption tended or theft's waft weft sown tight,
when energy expended perverted is, insight
should channel scope extended, intolerance indict.
When walls fall, bridges mended, prepare for further flight.

With justice dislocated ways narrow dynamite
diversity related to understanding's light,
then truth, communicated, should everyone incite
to see trust reinstated in statutes black and white
while judgements biased, weighted, are banished, all upright.

Tomorrow's tracks extended just future must invite
to spread ways, truth defended, to readily excite
imaginations blended with acts which reunite
new paths to be defended to stimulate, rewrite
a future fair and splendid which whets hope's appetite.

Is 'progress' over-rated as terran terabyte
nets hearts which once vibrated for few now underwrite
the principles once stated as everyman's birthright.
Is man's great plan, once fêted, doomed to unending plight
with tenderness' star fated to dim, disc overwrite.

Years new witness tears ended, show fresh reflection bright.
as errors apprehended, amended are a-right,
transparency intended to banish bias blight,
as wheels turn, Time, suspended, might rediscover light
with ardour unpretended, with better world in sight.

Our verses here are ended with neither joy nor spite,
the moral that's appended - distrust hierarchies' bite.

Unfortunate Dog Names

John knows that his dog's name
is just a wee bit silly
but he giggles just the same
when he says 'Please pet my Willy'

Sue's got a dog named 'Karma'
and when it mis-behaves
she says it's just 'Bad Karma'
(but good karma on other days?)

Then there's the dog of our new neighbor
we can't help but laugh a lot
whenever she opens her door
and hollers... 'Come Spot! '

She Touches A Sad String Of Soft Recall

Return, return! all night my lamp is burning,
All night, like it, my wide eyes watch and burn;
Like it, I fade and pale, when day returning
Bears witness that the absent can return,
Return, return.

Like it, I lessen with a lengthening sadness,
Like it, I burn to waste and waste to burn,
Like it, I spend the golden oil of gladness
To feed the sorrowy signal for return,
Return, return.

Like it, like it, whene'er the east wind sings,
I bend and shake; like it, I quake and yearn,
When Hope's late butterflies, with whispering wings,
Fly in out of the dark, to fall and burn-
Burn in the watchfire of return,
Return, return.

Like it, the very flame whereby I pine
Consumes me to its nature. While I mourn
My soul becomes a better soul than mine,
And from its brightening beacon I discern
My starry love go forth from me, and shine
Across the seas a path for thy return,
Return, return.

Return, return! all night I see it burn,
All night it prays like me, and lifts a twin
Of palmèd praying hands that meet and yearn-
Yearn to the impleaded skies for thy return.
Day, like a golden fetter, locks them in,
And wans the light that withers, tho' it burn
As warmly still for thy return;
Still thro' the splendid load uplifts the thin
Pale, paler, palest patience that can learn
Nought but that votive sign for thy return-
That single suppliant sign for thy return,
Return, return.

Return, return! lest haply, love, or e'er
Thou touch the lamp the light have ceased to burn,
And thou, who thro' the window didst discern
The wonted flame, shalt reach the topmost stair
To find no wide eyes watching there,
No withered welcome waiting thy return!
A passing ghost, a smoke-wreath in the air,
The flameless ashes, and the soulless urn,
Warm with the famished fire that lived to burn-
Burn out its lingering life for thy return,
Its last of lingering life for thy return,
Its last of lingering life to light thy late return,
Return, return.

Karma of the Hindu

Karma is the law of cause and effect,
The third law of Newton in operation.
Every action has a reaction
But Karma is a little more than that.

Like deeds, one’s thoughts too have repercussions.
The effects cause subsequent reactions
That form a chin wherein one would be caught.
The one will get back what one has thrown.

If the theory is true or not, I don’t know.
It lends harmony, builds ethics and pride
And installs shame as a powerful weapon.
Fear Karma if not the god at least.

Rac

.
A journey
From present to unknown
Must be worth its salt
Final destination alias last halt.

Lo!
Karma forces one to wait
RAC
Screams the fate
Life span always been a guessing game
Death never seems to be a good looking dame.

RAC now
Cry or wow
Journey till end gets more fascinating
Waiting to be berthed, for no more waiting.

Enjoying ultimate destination
Depends on one's karma & attitude
Show HIM or not
Any gratitude.

A craving

grandma died a few years back
yet this feeling of not letting go
- that epoch in my life that will not return
forever remembered
the warmth of grandma's smile, companion
warm hands and love

time, does it run in a linear fashion?
vividly i see us again in a house
somewhere in India, the first floor of a building

oh this craving of things that spawn endless karma!

well there we shall meet
she as another woman
and me another man

will she be glad again to
take me into her hands
through this rough and tumble world?

or will she just be a lady that curses
- having to come back merely to satiate a craving,
that rings endless karma bells

Tina Turner

We are all born with a mission, a purpose, that only we can fulfill. When you live with a joyful sense of purpose, when you infuse your life with a greater purpose beyond your individual self, every aspect of your karma can become a brilliant facet of your mission. You can transform sorrow and adversity of any sort into joy, stability, health, and prosperity. By changing poison into medicine and accomplishing your inner revolution, you can use every experience of karma to encourage others who suffer from the same problems that you overcame. You can become an ambassador of hope, an essential and radiant treasure of humanity, in which you recognize that all who have
ever lived are members of your extended family. As you continue to spread light in this way, actively doing good in the world, that energy will come back to you in abundant positivity. When you refuse to perpetuate any bad that has been done to you, you can free yourself from the chains of negativity.

Karma Man

Fingertip sun at sideshow stalls, they throw the balls
At coconut fur that hides behind coloured shades that blind your eyes
Every childs mother holds an ice-cream cone, they circle round
Perceived unknown by an eye that peers from a hole in the tent where no one goes
A figure sitting cross-legged on the floor hes clogged and clothed in saffron robes
His beads are all he owns
Slow down, slow down
Someone must have said that slow him down
Slow down, slow down
Its pictured on the arms of the karma man
Fairy tale skin, depicting scenes from human zoos
Impermanent toys like peace and war a gentle face youve seen before
Karma man tattooed on your side, the wheel of life
I see my times and who Ive been I only live now and I dont know why
I struggle hard to take these pictures in, but
All my friends can see is just the pinkness of his skin
Slow down, slow down
Someone must have said that slowed him down
Slow down, slow down
Its pictured on the arms of the karma man
Slow down, slow down
Someone must have said that slowed him down
Slow down, slow down
Its pictured on the arms of the karma man

~ Sedation Of Salvation ~

~ Sedation Of Salvation ~
Ms. Nivedita
UK
4 July,2010
====
Humble Note:

[1] Dispassionate Karma: Without being attached to the fruits of activities, for by working without attachment one attains the Supreme [a.k.a Salvation]

[2] Passionate Karma: Antithesis to above

~~~~~~~
Accelerate my momentum
Swell like snow ball
To savor passionate karmic
Flip-fab side of life!
Smooch sore - sauce
Sour - sweet
Sting - zing of
Passionate karma
Than dwindle frictional frazzle
Of dispassionate one!
Clamp wear and tear
Passionate karma metal ball why?
Decelerate inertia
Eschew embargo
Fab-flab-side of dispassionate
Karmic floridity of life!
I love to enjoy life chord
Thru bondage of karma cord
Than un-bondaged karma!
Seers and sages make
Salvation as focus
Their lofty indulgence locus
Ultimating in convergence.
Divergence my property
Karmic liberty
Accept all
Flop lollipop
Fop hip hop!
Sedation of salvation
Why be slave of?
Dispassion is opium
Passion is my summum bonum.
Offering O' Salvation
Garnish gun salutation
You’re but just isolation.
Karma spayment
Uh-oh down low
I am not who I want to be
I probably will not ever be
I drove my car june 14th
I drove it right down the street
I had not had any sleep
So I ate minithins to stay awake
You crashed your car right into me
There was two days I didnt sleep
Uh-oh downlow
I am not who I want to be
I probably will not ever be
I took a trip down to california
Karma payment plan
My car broke down out in the street
The radiator sprung a leak
I met this guy he said he could help me
Im on the karma payment plan
We went to his house and did some speed
He said karma would pay for this deed
He got it fixed and he started to scare me
I ditched him eventually
And came back for the car
The next morning
Im on the karma payment plan
I went to la the next day I got
Jacked in a real bad way
I cant tell you
Its a long story
Unmet Need or M' lady Tara
I know not that for which I yearn
But know my life is incomplete,
At night I lie and toss and turn
But always I meet with defeat.
Sometimes my heart will miss a beat.
I know not that for which I yearn
A malady I cannot treat
Sometimes it goes but will return.
Perhaps in due course I will learn
What I must know to be complete.
I know not that for which I yearn
Until I know I can’t compete.
So like an echo I repeat
What must I do to earn
full forgiveness for my deceit
I know not that for which I yearn.
Yoga In Gita
Gita provides three ways to bliss.
Devotion to God is Bhakti Yoga.
Dedication to work is Karma Yoga.
Meditation on Supreme is Jnana Yoga.
Bhakti Yoga is for sedentary ones.
Karma Yoga is for energetic ones.
Jnana Yoga is for intellectuals.
Bhakti Yoga is for adults.
Karma Yoga is for youths.
Jnana Yoga is for the old.
Mind, you must perform
Karma Yoga, which gives bread,
Besides Bhakti Yoga and Jnana Yoga
The President Of War
With hair dyes and face lifts he covers his wrinkles and gray
The War President is in retirement today
In his beautiful home with his loyal and attractive wife
One of the very privileged minority enjoying the good life.
The President of War known to be guilty of lying
In the wars he created people still suffering and dying
But the Karma he has sown for himself he will receive
Though on such people like him are not known to believe.
To his sort of person human life is cheap
But the Karma we sow is the Karma we will reap
The war mothers grieve at the graves of their dead
Of them years of grieving and sorrow ahead.
What goes around comes around as some like to say
And the President of War for his sins will pay
Because of him many poor mothers for their dead children grieve
And the Karma he has sown for himself he will receive.
If I listen to your lies would you say
Im a man without conviction
Im a man who doesnt know
How to sell a contradiction
You come and go
You come and go
Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon
You come and go
You come and go
Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream
Red, gold and green
Red, gold and green
Didnt hear your wicked words every day
And you used to be so sweet I heard you say
That my love was an addiction
When we cling our love is strong
When you go youre gone forever
You string along
You string along
Every day is like a survival
Youre my lover not my rival
Every day is like a survival
Youre my lover not my rival
Knights In Shining Karma
Knights in shining karma
Tend your flame
And with love for armor
Theyll remain
Ever by your bed
Guarding, still sleeping
Shield your soul from this rain
Knights in shining karma will remain
Jealous winter sun...
Cold as vichysoisse
Steals your smile for fuel
Theyll ignite with braziers
Of warming stars
Knights in shining karma
Wash your feet
And with spotlesss darma come complete
Ever by your sink drying
Up tea tears
Shield your soul from this heat
Knights in shining karma come complete
Swollen summer moon
Hot as boiling air
Poach your dreams to ash
Theyll bring sips from restful slumbers
Cooling keg
Jealous winter sun...
