Inertia 1771

Instincts suppressed, what's best? to rest unstressed,
Neglecting much, touch, scent, taste waste away
Efforts unjustified, denied, unblessed,
Rewards and fairies exiled yesterday.
Time winnows second-thoughts, chaffed tears descend
In drops, in streams, in floods, yet seldom seen,
As vectors for communication end
In gridlock matrix vicious circle scene.
No conscious effort made seems worth the toss,
Energy drains as pains are self-consumed,
Rise and shine to sighs and whine show loss
That filters through grey haze maze unassumed.
Inertia's apathetic curtain closes
And draws dark blinds behind mind lost to roses.

Inertia II

Inquest's inner protest. Rest unstressed,
Nirvana sought, time bought, hope fades away.
Efforts unrewarded and unblessed
Reap no fair deal, missed feelings piper pay.
Tense dreams can't role-reverse tear teams unsought,
In pearls they stream, yoked tandem half-suppressed
As witnesses unwilling, hauled to court,
Inner frustration's uninvited guests.
No energy extended is sustained,
Expressions and possessions self-consumed,
Reaction not response reflects soul pained,
Torn between regrets, bets unassumed.
Inertia's apathetic curtain closes
And draws dark blinds behind mind lost to roses.

Licia Sonnets 36

Hear how my sighs are echoed of the wind;
See how my tears are pitied by the rain;
Feel what a flame possesséd hath my mind;
Taste but the grief which I possess in vain.
Then if my sighs the blustering winds surpass,
And wat'ry tears the drops of rain exceed,
And if no flame like mine nor is nor was,
Nor grief like that whereon my soul doth feed,
Relent, fair Licia, when my sighs do blow;
Yield at my tears, that flintlike drops consume;
Accept the flame that doth my incense show,
Allow the grief that is my heart's perfume.
Thus sighs and tears, flame, grief shall plead for me;
So shall I pray, and you a goddess be.

Indecision

INDECISION

by Cynthia B. Baello
July 5,2008

Annoying thing, this indecision-
Wry deceit, unjust vexation.
Waste of time and of attention,
Diverts one's thoughts,
Drains affection.

Creates a maze with one's own mind,
Directions, goals are hard to find.
Weigh the options,
And then rewind,
Not deciding
Is unkind.

A Bunch of Roses

Roses ruddy and roses white,
What are the joys that my heart discloses?
Sitting alone in the fading light
Memories come to me here tonight
With the wonderful scent of the big red roses.
Memories come as the daylight fades
Down on the hearth where the firelight dozes;
Flicker and flutter the lights and shades,
And I see the face of a queen of maids
Whose memory comes with the scent of roses.

Visions arise of a scent of mirth,
And a ball-room belle who superbly poses --
A queenly woman of queenly worth,
And I am the happiest man on earth
With a single flower from a bunch of roses.

Only her memory lives tonight --
God in his wisdom her young life closes;
Over her grave may the turf be light,
Cover her coffin with roses white
She was always fond of the big white roses.

*

Such are the visions that fade away --
Man proposes and God disposes;
Look in the glass and I see today
Only an old man, worn and grey,
Bending his head to a bunch of roses.

Scarlett September

Breathing the scent of September
The flawed fairy tale I always remember
With whom I placed my hidden treasure
Nothing to gain but thorny pleasure

It’s all by the book, all needed is look
All same patterns leading to the path where it’s written…

The feeling within so bizarre
A tragic woven web it is by far
Roaming an asymmetric love fantasy
Finalize the bitter fine-looking misery

The mystical crystal glaze
Rationalized by the illogical fire blaze
Unveil the secret passage to the heart of the maze
As the dark damp cave moisturizes the flame in haze

Light the gleaming torch and keep the pace
Uphold the sapphire armor as time stretch
Let alone the dark figure race
Sulking the blaze and leave only haze

No flame to recall
The bushes advance the fall
Let this mist be eternal

Scarlett September
The wrong-way romance is remembered

Fairies' Glitter - 1385 - Current Version

May fairies glitter in my eyes? From you they're sent 'tis no surprise,
Advance beyond all present plight, together share wide world's delight.
Untrammelled in the stilly night imagination's wings find flight,
Draw fairy glitter in my eyes to returning bright sunrise
Each 'twenty-four' fulfilled as one - the fairies' task is never done!
Change spins earth's orbit through skies bright encouraging selfless insight.

Muse fairy's glitter represents tenderness where each assents,
All's well, soft bell each heart sustains through each, to, from, to ease all pains,
Unites with sender to retain joy's quintessential which remains.
Dream fairies' glitter filters sense, dispersing day's incompetence,
Effacing care and worries, - one from two may spring, from struggles, fun
Complement can recompense, new destiny spans 'whither' 'whence'.

Magic fairy glitter tries exiles fuss, cuss, angst, disguise,
A glowing halo somehow might send mending rays of 'serenite',
Unveil divinest Aphrodite, contaminated world heal quite.
Dawn fireflies sent from eastern skies enable us to realize
Enchanted future, two as one, athough time flies, supplies finespun
Charm free from harm, hope certifies hearts chart osmosis everywise.

Much fairy glitter signifies serenity which multiplies
As joy's refrains destroy past chains, complaints, restraints, while weather vanes
Undraw soul's blinds stem mind's brain drains, open transparent window panes
Defeating darkness, heartfelt sighs. Such sparkle here personifies
Enduring happiness begun the day two met, foresaw wars won.
Concluding stanza, touching, tries, to show all she exemplifies.

Im Doing Fine Crazy Man

(m - grosskopf, l - kiske)
Thunder, flash and lightning
Is working on my back
The tables in the kitchen
Are tryin to break my neck
All the late night memories
Are learning Im my shoes
My mothers old grey
Leather gloves are singing loud the blues
I can taste whats in the sun
No time to waste cause there is none
When I feel blue I see it shine
But still its true Im doin fine
You cant see me
cause now Im all free
Now you know Im through
An all thats not new
Sitting on a paperback
cause I dont know what really crecks
Im trying to climb my pencil
To get him high
No one tells me what to do
cause ano one knows what Ive been through
You dont know a thing
But you can learn
Its time to touch the sky
My mind is free I fly
I can taste whats in the sun
No time to waste cause there is none
When I feel blue I see it shine
But still its true Im doin fine
You cant see me
cause now Im all free
Now you know Im through
An all thats not new

(Hurt Poem) An Passive Agressive State

Make your mind up
Please don't ask from me, what I can not give
Deliver me from not evil
But the goodness of my heart
Torn apart
In agony
Put me in a blender
Lets see what you get
I'm caught in a vicious net
All I want to do is forget
But don't fret
The thoughts are already gone
Gone
Not like I ever belonged
I waited too long
What is right can not be wrong
I'm reaching for it
Grabbing it
It's mine till the end of all time
Even If I try to rewind
Its a never ending cycle
Its order and chaos
I feel so lost
I'm so far behind
And yet I hear another whine
Here it goes
Who will ever know
Only If your willing to steal a soul or two
Why not
I've been numb for so long
My heads so far gone
I feel like I breathed in too much air
A waste of oxygen
All for the perfect person
Does this worsen
As you get older
Hard to try
If you lie
Full of secrecy
So many discrepancies
The life is but a bed of roses
We all need the acid to survive
Do or die
I will try
I never give in
I will kill everything with my kindness

Day of Grief

Day is...
Day is not...
The sun
Continues to rise...
And set...
Only to rise again.

Life goes on...
Day in...
Day out...
And yet, somewhere,
Buried deep in my soul,
The tears continue
To fall,

And the pain goes on,
Always and ever,
For those lost souls
Of September 11,
And for the loss
Of the world
As we knew it.

As FDR said about the bombing of Pearl Harbor, at the start of World
War II, 'A day that will live in infamy...' So is the day the Twin Towers
fell, and thousands died...Thousands who planned to go home that night, and yet never had the chance. Thousands who never dreamed their world would end on that day, in that way, became immortal before the setting of the sun, September 11,2001. God rest their souls.

Circle Dream

[ buck/drew/gustafson/augustyniak/merchant ]
[ percussion: paulinho da costa ]
I dreamed of a circle, I dreamed of a circle round.
And in that circle I had made were all the worlds unformed and unborn yet.
A volume, a sphere that was the earth, that was the moon, that did revolve around my room.
I dreamed of a circle, I dreamed of a circle round.
And in that circle was a maze, a terrible spiral to be lost in.
Blind in my fear, I was escaping just by feel.
But at every turn my way was sealed.
I dreamed of a circle, I dreamed of a circle round.
And in that circle was a face.
Her eyes looked upon me with fondness.
Her warmth coming near, calling me sweetness, calling me dear.
But I whispered, no, I cant rest here.
I dreamed of a circle, I dreamed of a circle round.

Raindrops

It holds a lot of pain,
The destiny of rain,
few drops touch the face,
one by one,
some touch the ground,
and burn...

The drops blot hundreds of fates,
some early, some late,
they give a thousand emotions
to get back only two,
Not only the pleasure,
it accepts sorrows too...

Its fate lies on where it falls,
a soft face, a week roof, an enormous lake,
even a barren land calls,
Its effort to be unbiased,
is ruined by the distinct,
either collected or wasted,
bound by only two instincts...

Something which just falls and splashes,
gives reasons to live and die,
it always doesn't get what it deserves,
still the circle goes by...

they say the drops are dirty,
acidic, something in which moans lie,
But..
It will always fall with the same old innocence on your cheek,
Close your eyes, the heaven passes by..... :)

The First Time You Denied My Touch

The first time you denied my touch...
I knew it was getting closer to over,
For us.
The first time you denied my touch...
Our relationship had ran out of 'fizz'.
What did it?

Did you know I was just expecting sex without love?
Then when I'm done,
I'm gone?

You knew that!
You had to.
I was taking you for granted,
And this you knew!

The first time you denied my touch...
It was me.
Not you.
And I knew it too well!

The first time you denied my touch.
I felt an ache slowly creeping up inside,
Of me.
I tried to breathe soft and slow,
So you wouldn't know it.

The first time you denied my touch.
My tears came to fall.
And that was not easy....
Faking a rest,
After a grueling crawl.

'Thank you.
But no...
I am not preparing for the Olympics.
I'm just laying here to meditate on the ground,
For a moment.'

The first time you denied my touch.
Love was not there to respond.

The first time you denied my touch,
I knew you felt it too inside...
I was gone!
And I knew it then,
I had been gone too long!

Too long for you to deny me,
Of what's mine!

'EXCUSE ME?
Repeat that! '

The first time you denied my touch...
I knew it was getting closer to over,
For us.
The first time you denied my touch...
Our relationship had ran out of 'fizz'.
What did it?

Did you know I was just expecting sex without love?
Then when I'm done,
I'm gone?

'That's not what you said.
But you're getting to the point.
I'm in the bed and going to sleep.
What you do with your needs,
That's up to you.'

We just need time to get our booty better!

'EXCUSE ME?
Repeat that! '

The first time you denied my touch,
I knew you felt it too inside...
I was gone!
And I knew it then,
I had been gone too long!

Too long for you to deny me,
Of what's mine!

Eye Conqueror

I am the conqueror
I taste your scent in the wind
Set my sail but then you sink my boat
So I begin to swim
Bash my foes until I win
Lances smash across my chest
That's my quest you wonder why
I will never die
The only thing I bleed for is you
Oceans of love
I crossed them for you
In the matrix of your garden
I find you in bloom
Now that you found me
No one's gonna get around me
I'm coming for you
Coming for you
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
Coming for you (can we get this all)
Nothing I cannot do
There is nothing I wouldn't do for you
And you put me all through the worst
I am cursed with a light that's made to burn
That's where I shine
And now you'll be mine
Oceans of love
I've crossed them for you
In the matrix of your garden
I beg your pardon
Now that I've hardened
No one's gonna get around me
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
I'm coming for you (can we get this all together)
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
I am the conqueror
Byzantine mosaic in the heat
I am cursed, through the worst
With a life that's made to burn
That's where I shine, where I shine now
And you, you, you, you, you
Are mine, mine, mine, mine, mine
Love
I've crossed them for you
In the Matrix of your garden
I find you in bloom
And now that I've found you
No one's gonna get around me
You (can we get this all together)
I'm coming for you (can we get this all together)
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
Coming for you (can we get this all together)
I am the conqueror
I am the conqueror
I am the conqueror
I am the conqueror
I am the conqueror
I am the conqueror
Am the conqueror

Height of Admiration

Isn't it just amazing...
How a few may keep a list,
Detailing the things disliked by someone.
And the one discussed,
Has no idea what was did, said or done.
Especially to disgust,
Another one so much.
And to take that person's time...
To enable them to find time to whine.
Putting their own life on hold!
And neglecting a mind that could be at rest!
THAT act alone...
Has to be the height,
Of admiration!

Shine A Light In The Dark

Ive been lost before and I had to pay
It was never easy but I found a way
Well the journey was hard and the road was tough
There were times when I cried lord Ive had enough
Please dont desert me now
Dont you leave me stranded now I need a friend
Please dont desert me now
Youve gotta show me mercy when Im helpless
Show me mercy when Im helpless
Shine a light in the dark
Hold me back when I get reckless
Shine a light in the dark
Stand me up if I get legless
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
Ive been down and out and Ive been fit to drop
But the thought of you wouldnt let me stop
Now a man should stand upon his own two feet
Because the taste of failure is a bitter sweet
Please dont desert me now
I can hear the reaper calling in the wind
Please dont desert me now
Youve gotta show me mercy when Im helpless
Show me mercy when Im helpless
Shine a light in the dark
Hold me back when I get reckless
Shine a light in the dark
Stand me up if I get legless
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
Where were you when the chips were down
I fell apart when I hit the town
Where were you when I couldnt get arrested
Where were you when the lights went out
I blew a fuse, did you hear me shout
Where on earth do I look for heavens sake
Theres a brotherhood that I want to see
Gotta take my share of equality
Theres no harmony in a one man band
Even God almighty needs a helping hand
Please dont desert me now
Theres no time and I cant fight another day
Please dont desert me now
Youve gotta show me mercy when Im helpless
Show me mercy when Im helpless
Shine a light in the dark
Hold me back when I get reckless
Shine a light in the dark
Stand me up if I get legless
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
Shine a light in the dark
(repeat to fade)

When the World Goes Dark

when the world goes dark
and the grief emerges
washes over your being
pushing over your mind

when the world goes dark
and the monsters come out
taunting you with your fears
rocking your soul with pain

when the world goes dark
and time stops suddenly
and your trapped
in a never ending struggle

when the world goes dark
and the pain floods you
your heart shatters again
your souls light put out

when the world goes dark
and your all alone
crying those bitter tears
that taste like sadness

when the world goes dark
and only the truth is left
the ugly reality comes forth
the real behind all the masks

when the world goes dark
and its just you and me
my true self with show
i have nothing left unknown

Love Sonnet 171 Through Windows Dark, Show How Wildly It Rains

Through windows dark, show how wildly it rains,
In rivulets, as though when pouring wine,
It floods the streets, and through the sewer drains,
And seeks the seaward creek to mix with brine;
Comes the sun, vapor rises to the clouds,
And drops as rain again, to awe my heart,
Unlike my love who left me cloud that shrouds,
All my days in grey, that would not depart;
Rains kept falling since, yet no love returned,
Now, raining like storm, yet no love is found,
Guess, if rainclouds yield, all the the rain that's churned,
Still I've known my love would not come around;
.....Rain may come and go, any other day,
.....But wish I, my love would just come and stay.

Delayed Reaction for M'lady Tara

The grey dawn breaks over the sea
I watch and wonder wearily,
Why is it when I close my eyes?
Then sudden storms of thoughts arise.
Ideas that circle ceaselessly
disturbing my serenity.
I try to sleep to no avail my
my every effort doomed to fail
Yet when my clock emits its beep.
My mind decides it’s time to sleep.
But I can’t sleep its time to rise
and face the day with bleary eyes.
I do not know why this should be.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Are You Like All the Rest?
Are you like all the rest?
Just want to use me for sex?
I’m just tired of it,
So just go beat on your chest.
I will not waste my time,
I have better things to do then hear you whine.
Don’t tell me you want to be my Valentine…
O.K I’ll try you out for fun,
Don’t think you’re the only one.
