Cave! - 1450

Tremors. Touchingly, techtonic plates buckled.

Cluster-bomb burst beneath the balm façade of palmed mind_modes which censored the hidden tiger of repressed commotions sleeplessly stirring within the deepest trenches of the earth's cave.

Momentous magma loads, submersed, instantaneously spread upwards, outwards, obeyed neither man-made dictat nor the hand of providence.

Stored energy exploded.

Ocean tsunami waved goodbye to safe-harbour beaches, glad palm shade glade. No brave front resisted, could confront the worst case scenario, no Richter would care to grade. No subversive terrorist's potions could hold a candle to the wrath that poured from deepsea bedrock floored, could match the breaches in a previously supposedly secure setting. Grave, yard, and lodging, bed and board: all, last and first, for once equal before Nature's law, paid the price of wishy-washy self-centred notions - the climactic cost of climatic change ignored - while those pretending that experience teaches were among the first oblivion forgave.

Wishy Washy

I got a place with a view
You can see the cars
As they travel down the freeway
To clubs and bars
There's a woman downstairs
With matt-grey hair
And she smiles when she tells me
There's no room for me here
They've got it in the city
They've got it in the country
But here in the suburbs
It's all so wishy-washy
It's all so wishy-washy
I got another place
This time with a fireplace
And a woman can come around
Write poetry and feel safe
I said it's good for me now
But I'm not being fed
I said it's good for me now
But I'm not being fed

Forever young

I saw boys driving away to war
in a Ratel-90 armoured car
and they were well trained,
ready for action
and called up for military service
against their will.

Two smiled and a few
waved goodbye
and there was dirt
in my eyes,
when my armoured car
caught speed.

Enemy battle tanks were everywhere
and we fought right through the night
and with first light
an armoured car was stuck
in a mine field
and they were hoping for the best
but the worst was there
and shot out they paid the cost.

Although the enemy
paid a much higher price
and lost,
it’s like yesterday that they
waved goodbye
and sacrificed in vain
their lives for people
that does not honour them
and remain forever young.

In A Foreign Land

It was a matter of fact that when I paid all my tax
I held my world in the palm of my hand
And all of my debts were causing me to defect
To a land of bananas and sand
So I ran, yes I ran, yes I ran to a foreign land
Here I am, here I am
Here I am in a foreign land
Im so glad we made it
I thought wed never land
I grabbed all my cash
And decided to dash far away
Far away, far away to a foreign land
Here I am, here I am, here I am in a foreign land
Goodbye to all of the rich mans daughters
Goodbye to my debts now Im way cross the water
Far away, far away in a foreign land
Here I am, here I am here I am in a foreign land
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
Please tell my mother and all my ex-lovers
That Ive finally made the grade
Please tell my debtors and the money collectors
That all of my bills will be paid some day
Im away, Im away, far away in a foreign land
Goodbye champagne and caviar set
I wanna slum and drink all the rum I can get
Im away, Im away in a foreign land
Here I am, here I am, here I am in a foreign land
But Im all out of my jack and I cant go back
Im away, far away, far away in a foreign land
La la la la la la
La la la la la la

Man and Nature

MAN AND NATURE

Man trying
to reach the zenith
of the Realms of Science.

supposes
he's the Master of Seismology-
with gadgets,
Seismometer,
Seismograph,
Geo-Net / net-work of Seismic stations etc;
to detect
even the chiliad whispers
of the rumbling shake
under the Earth's crust.!

But his satellites and computers
fail to calculate
even the major displacements
of the tectonic plates
of the Seismic quakes
in the bowels of the Earth! .

He has devices
to measure
by the Richter scale—
a logarithmic scale(base 10)
the rate and amount of energy
an earth-quake releases.

Magnitude of(8) earth-quake
equal to detonating 6 million tons of TNT
often assaults mankind!

It's a wonder! .
Only after the on-set of the quake
this phenomena of Nature
gets registered
by Man's sophisticated instruments.

He can ne'er fully comprehend Nature!

Birds fly frenetically
animals are distraught
insects too respond to the distress—
All creatures experience Nature's big sigh
as they are one with it!

Man's interference with Nature
his meddling on its domains
make prediction of earth-quakes
a will-o'-the-wisp.

Despite his myriad instruments
Man is behind all creatures;

For he has cut his links with
Nature!
..

Candle In The Wind

Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on a treadmill
And they made you change your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
The candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Hollywood created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you died
Oh the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Marilyn was found in the nude
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
Well I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
The candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew you at all
Goodbye Norma Jean
From the young man in the 22nd row
Who sees you as something as more than sexual
More than just Marilyn Monroe
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
Well I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
The candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
Goodbye Norma Jean
Goodbye Norma Jean
Goodbye
Goodbye Norma Jean

he has reached old age
he says i have lost my brave image
i am subject of laughter even of cage
suddenly an idea striked him i will catch animals by becoming sage
soon this surprise came to animals rise
everybody used to visit tiger
he used to eat them and say
your brain is like brick
you cannot understand my trick
once fox came to knew this news
fox said tiger may be timid
but my brain is double speed
he went to tiger cave
i am new tiger and i will fight you and make your grave
challenge from other tiger was rare the sage was scared

A poem assemble ideas,
Concentrates experience
Await its time, place
For its own release
A Poem is a cluster bomb

A Poem explodes
Particle by particle
Projectile by projectile
Piece by piece,
Varying impact on the way
A poem is a cluster bomb

Out of a poem come wails
Out of a poem come hails
Out of a poem comes repair
Out of a poem comes despair
A Poem is a cluster bomb

It spreads in ripples
It travels like a storm
It is fashioned in riddles
It can pour painful scorn

Clockwork Creep

Im a clockwork creep
And I cant get to sleep
They wind me up and let me go
And I cant unwind
Going out of my mind
My time is coming soon you know
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Im a jumbo jet
With a brand new set
Of passengers and bags and crew
Ill spread my wings -
Do a thousand things
To prove how good I am to you
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Meanwhile in the cargo of escargot
The temperature is rising
Advertising that our time is running
Down, down, down, down, down
Oh with just one minute to live
Oh, no youll never get me up in one of these again
'cos what goes up must come
Down, down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down, down
Oh, the gravity of the situation
Its only my willpower
That keeps this thing in operation
But were gonna crash thats for certain
The pilot is too busy flirtin
And he aint aware
That theres a bomb down there
And if he dont do something its curtains
Now just hold on,
Said the little bomb,
If you were just to hold my hands
Then time would stop
The plot would flop
And jumbo would be safe to land
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
My landings are the envy
Of sabena and pan am
From chattanooga to japan
I taxi through the airways -
What a swell little plane
What a fine little plane
What a great little plane
I am
Hang on one sec
Im a clockwork wreck
And though my fuse is burning slow
Must keep my date to detonate
Goodbye, ta ta, and cheerio
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

The Winning Side

We may not know all the end, but we know, that we have won,
Though it won’t be pretty friend, we are sided with God’s Son.
That of the end we know is this, righteous wrath is sure to fall,
On those who don’t enter Bliss, as Judgment is poured on all.

All saved, will not suffer wrath, according to the Word of God,
While those on a darker path, will experience Christ’s Iron Rod.
A life of sin shall pay a price, this is from God, so be assured,
Jesus became God’s Sacrifice, to be our Savior and our Lord.

In these times, which we live, things become darker every day,
But Jesus Christ came to give, everyone on earth a better way,
Christ came to save those lost, and to give men a life eternally,
And Christ alone paid the cost, with His own blood on Calvary.

It is Grace that saves our soul, from this darkened world of sin,
Making any man eternally whole, as they simply believe in Him.
No one deserves such Grace, which God pours down upon us,
Or an eternal dwelling place, which is prepared by Christ Jesus.

Christ had come for everyone, when He came to earth and died,
So today believe in God’s Son, and be part of the winning side,
When The Lord comes back again, right before the end of time,
To take with Him believing men, in an event that will be sublime.

Sendai

The earth is still today.

Trees rise to the grey sky
high branches,
thin stems, etched
to stasis of
a photograph.

Be glad,
for motion can kill
when deep plates grind
shocking
ocean, city, coastal plain
‘til tsunami clears away
cars and trucks, homes cascading
like driftwood in swollen springs
rushing from the heaving sea
to a more fundamental deep,

where at last silence
arrests crushed chests,
and pain ceases
beneath the liquid earth.

For no cry can pierce
the stillness
of a ruptured world.

The Aliens Are Coming!

Yes, I know I'm just a poet and yet I'm quite sincere -
Just in case you didn't know it, the aliens are here!
I saw them leaving their spaceships, just like the Twilight Zone!
That's when they went on searching trips for me and me alone!
Of course, I ran when they saw me! I didn't stick around!
I didn't hide inside a tree - I hid beneath the ground!
Within a cave, where few have trod, I struggled to be safe...
From there, I prayed, in fear to God, somehow to make me brave!
I didn't feint, as some would do... and soon they went away...
So I was glad, I'm telling you, to live another day!
I told my Doctor who sat still and listened with a smile.
But then prescribed a purple pill that calmed me for a while.
The Mental Home has proved so nice... I've made so many friends.
I've met some aliens in disguise! More pills! It never ends!
My M.P. doesn't give a damn! It's time that he was sacked!
He's such a horrid little man! He also thinks I'm cracked...
My wife has been the worst of all! She sold the house last year!
While she's having herself a ball, the aliens love it here!

Third eye

Lord Shiva has opened third eye
We are in no position to ask why
We are playing with dangerous fire
Nature is against us and tired

What have not done to alienate the nature?
Why have we done to bleak our future/
Not only air but even sky is made hollow
More of such consequences are bound to follow?

The plates under earth belt are making move
Strike against each other for vacuum to remove
Unknown movement may shake the whole world
People may fear and experience shiver with cold

Still we blow same whistle
Not think of what has gone wrong meanwhile
We may shed some tears and forget
The causes must be made known or let

We are making land hollow
Gas and oil extraction further worsens and allow
We are digging our own grave to term it natural disaster
What else can be named it worst joke with laughter

Let us mourn the death of innocents
They deserve sympathy and sad comments
The loss could have been avoided
Alas! we had some respect for nature and advice heeded

Taste the Pain

flat on my back
in a lonely sprawl
i stare at the ceiling
because i can not fall
asleep tonight
no not at all
head lights flash
across my bedroom wall
crying eyes open
because i can not fall
in love with you
no not at all

walk away and taste the pain
come again some other day
aren't you glad you weren't afraid
funny how the price gets paid

busted in two
like a brittle stick
i can not drink
because my throat constricts
lovesick from you
that will never do
open my mouth
i couldn't make a sound
i could not scream
i could not shout
it out to you
nothing to do

walk away and taste the pain
come again some other day
aren't you glad you weren't afraid
funny how the price gets paid

this may come as a shocking surprise
i have to take a walk
i have to kiss it goodbye
goodbye my love
goodbye my love
i am not alive

walk away and taste the pain
come again some other day
aren't you glad you weren't afraid
funny how the price gets paid

The Ministry of The Holy Spirit

My wife was sanctified and set apart through The Spirit in her heart,
And from my wife's tender heart, to me words of Life she did impart.
Such is the work of The Holy Spirit, sent by God from the very start,
To go throughout the world around us changing every yielding heart.

God uses men to share the Gospel through the ministry of The Spirit,
Believers are to share God's Word with every heart that will hear it.
Death's inevitable for all Believers but with Hope we don't fear it,
For Believers are sealed for Eternity by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Jesus commissioned all Believers to spread His Word to all the earth,
Our mission is to lead men out of darkness to the Light of New Birth.
And as sinners to the cross, we bring nothing of any eternal worth,
But the price has been paid fully by the creator of the entire earth.

The Age of Grace is almost over and Almighty God will not be ignored,
When this Age is over all who remain will enter The Day of The Lord.
For vengeance is The Lord's only and for this day His Wrath is stored,
And that day will not end until on all the evil His Wrath is poured.

Until the end we need to preach to every tribe, tongue and nation,
For Jesus is still at the door offering to all His Eternal Salvation.
For all who are found in Christ Jesus will not face any condemnation,
Instead our lowly bodies will be transformed into His Glorification.

The candle of hope

Hope for the hopeless and hope for the lost.
No matter the price, whatever the cost.
Jesus had come and was willing to pay
being born as a babe that first Christmas day.

Hope that's a certainty, hope that is sure.
Though the earth is shaken I am secure.
Trusting in Jesus and safe in His care.
Knowing THAT He's with me and always there.
