In Halloween, I viewed the characters as simply normal teenagers. Laurie, Jamie Lee's character, was shy and somewhat repressed. And Michael Myers, the killer, is definitely repressed. They have certain similarities.

To give your child room to be
To give your child room to be at any age them self, not inflict them with your issues, repressed pain and unfulfilled dreams is a great gift.

Peace From Expression
It’s not just that easy to just say “No”
'No To The War On Drugs',
it is about boundaries I think so.
Starting in your family are you
free to express or are you repressed?
Free to say what you feel,
or to deny your true feelings and think they are not real?
So the 'War on Drugs' should be the 'Peace of Expression',
that’s what all teenagers need to do to end Depression.
and not use drugs for repression.

Cave Felix - 1313
Surface calm enfolds
the hidden tiger
of repressed emotions
sleeplessly prowling
within the inner reaches
of the mind's cave.
Surface calm here holds
attention - geiger
counting the ocean motions
of reactivity, radioactivity
tuned into the wave lengths
of the (he) art's rave…
Surface calm enfolds
the hidden tiger
of repressed emotions
sleeplessly prowling
within the inner reaches
of the mind's cave…

A Pig Of A Cliché Day
One of those days.
Do I need to tell you?
Like some invisible burden
to do with humanity or something
personal, imagined, no clue,
pressing down, tensing the back,
can barely walk a straight line,
face full of repressed anger
about what I don’t know,
then yawning with the weariness
of doing nothing
so how to deal with it
if you don’t know
who laid it on you
or why
opened the paper
almost too bored to do that,
read the story of how
he won the VC, top honour,
very rare
and what it’s been like since
reckoned if I can cry like this
something must be alright
somewhere
I’m OK now. You?

The Normal Person
'They taste funny, says the child who doesn't want to take his daily pills.
Am I not functional without them? '
'Yes says his father, who is slightly irritated by his son question.
You will take them.
For they will make you a 'Normal' person.'
'Dad, the boy sequels with utmost curiosity!
What is 'Normal'?
Well son, 'Only where people exhibit similarities can normal exist.',
in admired manner he says.
'How boring', the child slurs with his tongue sticking out of his mouth.
