Adrenaline Shock

As excitement trips synaptic traps, taps inner ocean tide
Deep within the spirit calling to the hidden beast inside,
Rising quicker, quicker falling, masterminding, unpoliced,
Electricity internal surges, impulse shocks released.
Now accept an opportunity for challenge set aside,
As hunter spies through camouflage the prey too long denied.
Listen as the heart beats faster, who is hunter, who is fleeced?
Is one servant, is one master, must it matter in the least?
New conundrum through the ear drum, sounding board plumbs, Fate defied.
Enterprising and surprising, tingles jingle far and wide,
SHed all hesitation information channelled, need to feast,
Open ended this excitement as red blood count is increased.
Cause, effect can come together as their patterns superpose
Kneeding, feeding, seeding needing more than many may suppose...

Thank offering

The hunter draws his bow string back.
Then quick released the arrow flies
so fast the eye cannot keep track.
Pierced through the heart a young stag dies.
The clan will feast on meat tonight.
Their appetites well satisfied,
they praise the goddess of night
who keeps their wants and needs supplied.
These simple folk with simple ways.
a clan of hunter gatherers
are wise enough to offer praise
to the moon goddess: She who cares
for all her children man and beast
in gratitude for tonights feast.

Snakes

Open the basket
Listen to the flute play
Open the basket
Listen to the flute play
Toot toot toot play
Snakes in the basket
Lie to lead you astray
Snakes in the basket
Force to make you betray
Your innermost truth hidden away

Now you're falling down to the underground
Slither down to your lair
Hidden in the many trenches of a hopeless war
Those who were sold out by a corporate board

Carry the casket
Never mind the gun spray
Bury the casket
Pawns in someone's gameplay
Shoot shoot shoot obey

Now you're falling down to the underground
Slither down to your lair
Hidden in the many trenches of a hopeless war
Those who were sold out by a corporate board

Listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play

Subscription to the spreading of lies
Soldier catches a glimpse of his demise deep down inside
Even he knows snakes come in many shapes and sizes
Many shapes and sizes
Snakes have no hands to be tied

Concoction of malicious lies
Deep inside the general despises himself
Listen to the flute play
Another reptile in line
Snakes without grass cannot hide

Now you're falling down to the underground
Slither down to your lair
Hidden in the many trenches of a hopeless war
Those who were sold out by a corporate board
Now you're falling down to the underground
Slither down to your lair
Forked tongues spread the poison with another toxic sting
So much pain their serpentine inhibitions bring

Oh - listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play

Open the basket
Open the basket
Listen to the flute play
Open the basket

Listen to the flute play
Listen to the flute play
Go ahead
Listen to the flute play

Open the basket
Oh - open the basket

Building The Perfect Beast

The power of reason, the top of the heap
Were the ones who can kill the things we
Dont eat
Sharper than a serpents tongue
Tighter than a bongo drum
Quicker than a one-night stand
Slicker than a mambo band
And now the day is come
Soon he will be released
Glory hallelujah!
Were building the perfect beast
(building, building, etc..)
Its olympus this time- olympus or bust
For we have met the enemy -and he is us
And now the day is come
Soon he will be released
Glory hallelujah!
Were building the perfect beast
(building, building)
Ever since we crawled out of the ocean
And stood upright on the land
There are some things that we just dont
Understand:
Relieve all pain and suffering
And lift us out of the dark
Turn us all into methuselah-
But where are we gonna park?
(building, building)
The secrets of eternity-
Weve found the lock and turned the key
Were shakin up those building blocks
Going deeper into that box- (pandora
Wouldnt like it)
And now the day is come
Soon he will be released
Glory hallelujah!
Were building the perfect beast
(building, building)
All the way to malibu from the land of the
Talking drum-
Just look how far-look how far weve come

A Poem For Mr And Mrs...

I have never met you officially!
And my wife didn't know what to say!
When I ask her, where are your parents?
So, I can give you a hard hands shake
And tell you, thank you for a beautiful daughter.
death came and denied you the chance.

I haven't met you
Death came! Just before I can,
Tell you that 'I am intending to marry your daughter'
Death came! Just before!
i can give you her lobola
And ask you to count it.
death came and denied you the opportunity

I wanted you to be there,
On our engagement day and our wedding day
To share with us, the feeling and excitement
Cuddle and chuckles of the day.
death came and denied you the moment

I wish we could have met
Sit around the table
Drink cup of coffee
And talk about soccer
Laugh about it, dispute about it
death came and denied you the opportunity

Now one day these children will want you!
They will ask me and my wife about you
One day they will want all those old stories and tales
As grandparents do to their grandchildren
death came and denied them the opportunity

Cycles

When Dave Priest died grave sexton told
to toll bell well for corpse stone cold -
from epiderm to earthworm’s feast
star studded sports sporadic yeast.

The moral reads: reeds brave, deeds bold,
berth bends to end which breaks birth's mould.
Mould broken, mould returned, at least
is he released from life once leased.

Though pitter-pat or thud, thud, thud,
warm blood turns into tainted mud,
must musty dust depart, heart ceased,
Time’s gavel knocks down man and beast.

As cycles spin, out's in's template,
who sees the light before dark fate?

When Dave died grave sexton was told
to toll the bell for one grown old, -
now he is young again, released
from epiderm to earthworm’s feast.

The moral is, however bold,
all bend to end which breaks the mould.
Mould broken, mould returned, as least
is he who highest life once leased.

So whether bid or oversold
warm blood soon rudderless and cold
must musty dust turn heart beat ceased,
Time’s gavel sells off man and beast.

Though cycles swift accelerate,
who sees the light before dark fate?

Imploding In Their Conditioned Positions

Falling to pieces!
Quicker.
Faster.
Than anyone can remember,
Who Bo Peeped.
Or if creeps were involved,
With the fleecing of Mary's little lamb.
Or the padlocking of Mother Hubbard's house,
After stealing her homemade jam.

Falling to pieces!
Quicker.
Faster.
Than Jack and Jill,
Going up a hill...
To fetch a pail of tainted water.

Now everyone is looking down.
To discover anything on the ground,
Worthy to pawn!
After mentally being slaughtered,
By deceit nursed by thieves going on...
Discreetly allowed to do their crimes.
As those mumble in their fumbling,
To find reason and rhyme in trying times.
And ripe...
For an imploding,
In their conditioned positions...
To occur!

Shared Intuitions

Mistake, or insight worth a second look
As printed with key code of cause, expect?
Rainbow skeins need braiding to effect
Interactions on an open book.
Excitement keeps hearts in the air, on hook.
Can intellects combine, twine, intersect,
Hearts’ energies spontaneous direct,
Rise to challenge, shed gobbledygook,
Ignore conventions set that overlook
Shared intuitions which interconnect
To filter chaff from grain, detect defect
Ignoble which life's books too often cook?
Now rule lure, unlured by rules harsh lined,
Expressing feelings with an open mind...

Ray Of Light

Verse:
Zephyr in the sky at night I wonder
Do my tears of mourning sink beneath the sun
She's got herself a universe gone quickly
For the call of thunder threatens everyone

Chorus:

And I feel like I just got home
And I feel
And I feel like I just got home
And I feel

Faster than the speeding light she's flying
Trying to remember where it all began
She's got herself a little piece of heaven
Waiting for the time when Earth shall be as one

(chorus)

Quicker than a ray of light
Quicker than a ray of light
Quicker than a ray of light

(verse)

And I feel
Quicker than a ray of light
Then gone for
Someone else shall be there
Through the endless years

She's got herself a universe
She's got herself a universe
She's got herself a universe

And I feel
And I feel
And I feel like I just got home
And I feel

Quicker than a ray of light she's flying
Quicker than a ray of light I'm flying

French Kissin In The Usa

Loves touch comes to mean so much.
Embrasser cest francais.
Loves way, sabandonner.
Slip into the velvet glove, parted lips so filled with love.
Lips upon forbidden places, lingering in long embraces.
French kissin in the usa!
Lips are in motion.
Ocean to ocean to ocean, ocean to ocean to ocean.
Paris is calling!
Falling, were falling, were falling, falling, were falling, were falling.
Lips close, then blossom like a rose.
Lips wide holding you inside.
Kisses hard, kisses deep, a kiss to wake us from our sleep.
Take your lover by the hand, speak in tounges and understand.

Cusps

CUSPS

Cusps convergent redivide
Unexpectedly, conceal
Spiel links. Cause, Effect, reveal
Pre-destination never. None inside
Subtle riddles read, none ride
COherently around rune wheel,
None key, tune into, Future’s weal.
Vainly humankind has tried
Explaining karma to provide
‘Real’ explanations for Life’s reel –
Gu[s]t gest jest conundrum sealed,
Ephemeral both ebb and tide.

Connections karmic can’t collide,
Unerringly rule, school, unreel
Silk threads slippery as eel,
Prepare tomorrows far and wide,
Synchronicity complied.
Crossroads' kismet none repeal,
ON even keel draw curtains, peel
Vision peripheral aside.
Evaluation don't deride -
Response-reaction’s ceaseless meal -
Ground by, from intuitive feel.
Effect? - Coincidence’s bride!

Still writ stays fitting, locks Time’s door,
Will, Wit, ways knitting, clock rhyme's store.

CUSPS CONVERGE

Cusps converge then redivide,
Unexpectedly conceal
Symphonic links Time may reveal
Perchance some day, tune runes inside,
Subtle riddles read. Who’d ride
Concentric ripples round Fate’s wheel,
ON key, in tune with Future’s weal?
Vain mankind has often tried
Effect and Cause to link, provide
‘Real’ explanations for Life’s spiel –
Gust on Time’s breeze Death, Past, fast seal –
Ephemeral both ebb and tide.

Cusps connected can’t collide,
Unique the rule to school, unreel
Silk threads which, slippery as eel,
Prepare tomorrows far and wide,
Synchronic patterns spinn, abide,
Chaos kept on even keel, …
ONe law – or flaw – none can repeal.
Vision peripheral aside
Each should Cause search and not deride
Response-reaction’s ceaseless meal
Ground by and from Fate too few feel.
Effect? - Coincidence’s bride!
Still stays writ, fit lock for Time’s sandy wall,
Will, Ways, Wit, knit knock, door, key, rhymes, and all...

Convergency men seize upon to show
One moment their superiority
Next time, when thwarted, claim 'bad luck', blame, see
Vicious circle, counterfeited flow.
Each act is judged upon what 'chance' may sow,
Responsibility depends on ends, means, meeting key
Grandeur, defeat, or opportunity,
ENigmas solved or fallow fields' dust blow.
To 'Fate' hard knocks, to 'self' praise due, view crow!
Come double standards, rewrite history
Ordaining 'hindsight' loco parentis
Unique divinity above, below.
No credibility's accorded judgement which
TERgiversation shows twixt stitch or swich.

Winter Comes...

Where once the spring
Shone in our faces,
Tugged at our heart-strings
Danced at our traces,
Now there are chills,
Portents inside us,
Shadows from far-off hills
Now walk beside us.

Love came and went,
Followed its calling,
Left us to rue the chance
Glance of each falling,
Tears followed laughter,
Sadness brought pain,
Love flowed down gutters
With every spring rain.

What of the children
Laughing beside us?
Spring turned to summer
And quickly denied us;
Scorched our intentions
And scratched all our itches;
Where are the children now?
Hedgerows and ditches!

So much for summer, one
Long dissipation,
Autumn leaves spiral
And pile desolation,
Deep in our hearts those old
Tears are still falling,
Dark clouds are gathering
As winter comes calling.

Lonely Is The Hunter

There is a thing out there that lives in the dark
Lamented into dust is the crow
A star shining in the sky
In the darkened night

A filling taste it is
Lonely is the hunter in the days
Of them we are
Of they there are none
Two times the rooster crows
In the days of the lonely hunter

Hope dead and cold
Lonely is the hunter
None nearby lonely is the hunter

Tombs filling the heart
Lonely is the hunter
The hunter is he

Your Beliefs

Your beliefs are fading faster than a speeding bullet.
Quicker than belts can be located between a young man's waist...
And his knees.
Exposing his crack and undies.
Quicker than you can hear an elephant sneeze.
Or apologize for existing.

Your beliefs are fading faster...
Than the vivid colors of your super heros,
Amos and Andy, Step-n Fetchit and Clarabell the Clown.

Your beliefs are fading faster...
Than that identity you have never found!

Lonely Is The Hunter

My eggs in one basket, but she threw me a bone
She was dealt a full deck, but she likes to live alone
Aint just talkin to myself, need a reason to stop (oh yeah)
With a flower in her teeth, she drained the last drop
I said girls love money like bees the honey
But lonely is the hunter, youre my one and only, and lonely is the hunter
Asked her for a refill, sweat flew off my face (oh yeah)
Shes a legendary figure, kept me in a cage
Shes a torture chamber, when I seduced her in my bed (ooh yeah)
She gave a cold reading, success went to her head
In the heat of the battle the heart cannot rule, Im such a fool
But lonely is the hunter, youre my one and only, and lonely is the hunter
Lonely is the hunter, youre my one and only, and lonely is the hunter
Lonely is the hunter, youre my one and only, and lonely is the hunter
Lonely is the hunter, youre my one and only, and lonely is the hunter

Hunter or the hunted! ! ! ! !

If you be a hunter,
Besides being good marksman,
One needs sportsmanship.

What makes one a hunter;
Fun of the game or sadistic pleasure,
At times I wonder…

Hunted or the hunter
In the playfield, there is a slim chance,
The pursuer end as prey.

So what,
If its a poem or a poet;
Its all in the game,
an occupational hazard...

The Joy of Nits

Headlouse dance as agile ballerinas across a small childs skull
And believe the truth as im only good at that
I havent seen one for a while

Its hard to confess
That i actually miss
Foriging the tresses of my little sprigs
Salivating
Eyes dancing
Hither and tither
To and fro
As if anyone would
Id always know

Where on earth the little devils would go
I know their lifecycle
Lifespan
And im ever so proud to admit that i can
Spot one
At fifty paces

(The safari Hunt!)

I used to settle down, comb at hand
I knew i was at it when i imagined
A safari hat
I was the hunter
Their stalker
Trapsing through the thick dark forestry of hair
Silent in deep excitement

'THERE! ' Ive got another one

Id chalk up the amounts
leaving bloodied squashed and squelched
Knits pon white tissue
A most satisfactory
Blood count

I was good, i was brilliant a most efficient predator
of those nasty
Horrid little blood sucking beasts that chose to feast
On my childrens heads
Id gather up the population
Ensuring they were all

DEAD!

I A Hunter.

I a hunter of life,
I got shot by a hunter with my knife,
I a hunter of death,
A shot just broke my teeth

I a hunter of destiny,
Am afraid mine is taken,
I hunter of happiness,
am afraid mine is darkness

I a hunter of purity,
Putifying isn't my duty,
I a hunter of greatness,
I've just found am the smallest

I hunter of Love,
But am a sparrow not a dove,
and now I've got a message,
A message I, ve meant to receive

Hallow love Thank you,
my mind is holified that is you,
you have made my mind over due,
you made me think about you
SO THANK YOU

Faster

Chose a life in circuses
Jumped into the deepest end
Pushing himself to all extremes
Made it - people became his friend.
Now they stood and noticed him
Wanted to be part of it
Pulled out some poor machinery
So he worked til the pieces fit.
The people were intrigued
His wife held back her fears
The headlines gave acclaim
Hed realized their dreams.
Faster than a bullet from a gun
He is faster than everyone
Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Like a flash you could miss him going by
No one knows quite how he does it but its true they say
Hes the master of going faster.
Now he moved into the space
That the special people share
Right on the edge of do or die
Where there is nothing left to spare.
Still the crowds came pouring in
Some had hoped to see him fail
Filling their hearts with jealousies
Crazy people with love so frail.
The people were intrigued
His wife held back her fears
The headlines gave acclaim
Hed realized their dreams.
Faster than a bullet from a gun
He is faster than everyone
Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Like a flash you could miss him going by
No one knows quite how he does it but its true they say
Hes the master of going faster.
No need to wonder why
His wife held back her fears
So few have even tried
To realize their dreams.
Faster than a bullet . . . (repeat chorus)

Jingle Jingle My Bell

Jingle Jingle my bell
Jingle Jingle my bell
Please reassure me all is well

The sun sets down
The night is young
So I sing a song
Waiting for the night crickets
To sing along

Jingle Jingle my bell
Tell me now what I should sell

My soul to the sea
While the waves fight
In the darkness of the night

Jingle Jingle my bell
I am thirsty
Get me some water from the well

Sitting on the cliff
Watching the rift
Out at sea
White bubbles drowning and rising
I am glad that is not me

Jingle Jingle my bell
I am making some noise
Hear me yell

Jingle Jingle my bell
I am so happy
That you can tell
