The Prodigal
I face the day again
Against the window pane.
I remain your closest friend,
And wish you back again.
You wonder how i feel;
You think you've pushed too far.
If only you could see this pen
Scribbling down my heart.
I'll be waiting.
I may be young or old and gray,
Counting the days,
But i'll be waiting,
And when i finally see you come,
I'll run when i see you--
I'll meet you.
But still the days drag on.
Why did you decide to go?
Did you only need to see
What only time can show?
I'll be waiting.
I may be young or old and gray,
Counting the days,
But i'll be waiting,
And when i finally see you come,
I'll run when i see you.
And even if
You never do return,
Still i will have learned
How to love you better.
I'll be waiting.
I may be young or old and gray,
Counting the days,
But i'll be waiting,
And when i finally see you come,
I'll run to meet you.
I'll be waiting.
I may be young or old and gray,
Counting the days,
I'll be waiting,
And when i finally see you come,
I'll run to meet you.

Still Waiting
All my friends tell me
About the loves theyve had
Cant they see what theyre doing to me?
It makes me feel so bad
cause Im so alone
And brokenhearted
It aint like my life is ended
But more like it never started
The love my friends rap about I keep anticipating
I try so hard but dont you know, my patience is fading away
Still waiting
Im waiting for that love
Still waiting
I wish on every star above
Still waiting
Waiting for the love to come around
Oh, love.
Waiting for the love to come around
People say that Im too young
Too young to fall in love
But they dont know, they really dont know
Thats all that Ive been dreaming of
cause I spend my nights just a-crying
And I spend my days just a-trying
To find that love to call my own
cause Im sick and tired of being alone
Still waiting
Waiting for that love
Still waiting
I wish on every star above
Still waiting
Im waiting for the love to come around.
(waiting for the love) dont you know that Im waiting
(waiting for the love) say..
(waiting for the love) to come around now
I need somebody to hold on to baby
Waiting and waiting, dont you know that im
Still waiting
Im waiting for the love, sugar
Still waiting
If youre out there girl, please come to me
Still waiting
Dont make me cry no more
Still waiting
If youre out there, baby, please come to me
Still waiting
Wishing and wishing for days, baby
Still waiting
If youre out there, girl, please come to me
Still waiting

Waiting On You
Why havent you called me?
Did you forget me?
I need to know
Where were you waiting on me
To break the silence
Let me know
Mine is the loneliest of numbers
Now, its the loneliest of times
Oh yeah, youre 19 days late, but still, I still wait on
Waiting and waiting, waiting and waiting, waiting and waiting
Waiting on you
Who have you been seeing?
That made you forget me
I bet you call him
Where, oh where does he come from?
But when he just goes by
I bet hes just a friend
Mine is the loneliest of numbers
Now, its the loneliest of times
Oh yeah, youre 19 days late, but still, I still wait on
Waiting and waiting, waiting and waiting, waiting and waiting
Waiting on you
Waiting and waiting waiting and waiting, you got me waiting, waiting on you
I asked you if youd ever turn around
I asked you, guess Im never comin home
I asked you if youd ever turn around
I asked you, guess Im never comin home

Waiting
Waiting, waiting.
All the time debating.
Faining that I'm okay.
Will it come today?
I can only hope and pray.
Continually waiting for that day.
Hoping for the part I wish to play.
It comes so slow. How far shall it go?
If only I could know.
The waiting is so laborious.
How curious.
The days feel like eternities.
Waiting for these deliveries.
How long must I sit here waiting?
Internally debating,
sometimes crying and praying.

WAITING, waiting
WAITING, waiting. 'Tis so far
To the day that is to come:
One by one the days that are
All to tell their countless sum;
Each to dawn and each to die—
What so far as by and by?
Waiting, waiting. 'Tis not ours,
This to-day that flies so fast:
Let them go, the shadowy hours,
Floating, floated, into Past.
Our day wears to-morrow's sky—
What so near as by and by?

Cars... Waiting in the sun(9/11/01)
Patiently waiting their owners,
the cars sit alone
Blue Mercedes, black ford,
red Dodge, grey Toyota
But for tonight these waiting cars,
will not be going home
No one gives it a thought,
nor cares an iota
Only two days later
does one give it a thought
That these cars waiting their owners,
and coated with dust
Would never be driven again
by their owners
Though waiting, patiently…
oblivious in trust
Waiting in bright sunlight,
where once there was shade
From the two majestic towers
that seemed to forever persist
Waiting in the lonely parking lot
for owners delayed
By the fact that their owners…
and the towers… no longer exist.

On Borrowed Time
Remember not to say a word
If they ask about me
Say you havent heard
Sweet communion
Of the forbidden kind
I live to love you
Only on borrowed time
Are you waiting
Waiting in the dark
For a message, for a sign
Precious these days
Living our ways
On borrowed time
Yeah
Fallen angel
Where do you hide your heart
Under some angry ? ? ?
Alone you fall apart
Oh, youre not forgotten
Youre always on my mind
Whispering words Im waiting, waiting
Only on borrowed time
Someones praying
Praying for your life
For a miracle or sign
Precious these days
Living our ways
On borrowed time
Ill be waiting
Waiting in the night
For a message, for a sign
Precious there days
Living our ways
On borrowed time

Ayers Rock / Uluru
old Mr Uluru
a proud man
the day the Rock
was handed back
sits waiting
old Mr Walkabout
a proud man
at the twenty-fifth
anniversary of the
hand back
sits waiting
in the Red Rock tavern
the old men sit
waiting
yous wanna beer
the barman yells
he comes over
whatcha waiting for
the old men stare out
over their Country
waiting
waiting
for recognition
as Traditional Owners
more than just
a few days
in their life time.

All My Life
Is it the way that you feel when Im kissing on you
Or is it the soul I can see in your eyes
The clothes that you wear or the smell of your hair
Or is it the way I cant sleep when youre not there
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Is it the way that you feel deep inside
Or is it the way that I feel so alive
Your star and your flair are beyond compare
Or is it the way that we feel when were on fire
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
Every night, oh Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you

The Waiting Game
It seems we wait and wait and wait
for something all our days.
And the time we spend waiting
provides us with delays.
Sometimes what we wait for
is so far out of reach
that the waiting becomes the lesson
that your life is trying to teach.
To wait for the improbable to happen
is called the impossible dream.
Tis it not better to stop the waiting
and stop the inner stream
of frustrating tears that flow each day
because instinctively you know
that the waiting will never disappear.
The waiting will never go.

September Song
When I was a young man courting the girls
I played me the waiting game
If a maid refused me with a tossing curls, oh,
I let the old earth, take a couple of whirls
While I plied her with tears in prays of pearls
And as time came around she came my way
As time came around she came
For its a long, long while, from May to December
And the days grow short, when you reach September
And I have the lost my tears, and the walking in the little rain
Hey honey, I haven't gotta time for gaining Waiting Game
And the days turn to crawl(?grow old?) as they grow few
September, November
And these few colden(?golden?) days I'd like to spend 'em with you
These golden days, I'd like to spend 'em with you
And the days dwindle down to a precious few
September, November
And I'm not quite a quip for the waiting game
I have a little money, and I have a little pain
And these few golden days, as the days grow so few
These golden days, I'd like to spend 'em with you
These precious golden days, I'd like to spend 'em with you

Waiting For The Sun
At first flash of eden, we race down to the sea.
Standing there on freedoms shore.
Waiting for the sun (3x)
Can you feel it now that spring has come.
And its time to live in the scattered sun.
Waiting for the sun (3x, pause, again slower)
Waiting.... waiting.... waiting.... waiting.... (2x)
Waiting for you to - come along
Waiting for you to - hear my song
Waiting for you to - come along
Waiting for you to - tell me what went wrong
This is the strangest life Ive ever known.
Yeah! (riff 8x)
(repeat second verse, chorus 3x, then riff 2x, end).

I'll Be Waiting
Can't you see
You mean everything to me
You're in my heart
You've touched my soul
You're all I'll ever need
And it hurts so bad
Not to have you by my side
Nothing's right; I cry all night
Just waiting for your call
[CHORUS]
I'll be waiting for you till the sun don't shine
I will wish on a star to make you mine
I'll be dreaming all night that you're by my side
I'll be waiting for you
Said I'll be waiting for you till the end of time
Can't you see that I need you in my life
You're all that I want; I can't deny
I'll be waiting for you
(I'll be waiting for you...)
Love is hard
When the days can seem so far
We were both inseparable
And now we're torn apart
I refuse to try again
To love to someone new
Cuz what we shared was heavenly
Like a rose that's in full bloom
[CHORUS]
(I'll be waiting for you...)
You make me so happy
I never thought I'd lose you
You're love was and still is
The only thing I run to
[CHORUS]
Every minute of every hour
You know I'll be waiting for you

Flashman
I'm waiting,
Waiting for you to crash,
I'm waiting,
Waiting to see your cash,
Waiting so long,
Waiting over here,
Waiting over there,
Waiting to hear you say,
You'll come back to me!
Waiting for the rush!
You're all flash and no cash,
Don't like your trash,
Gonna see you crash,
I'm waiting,
Waiting on my own,
I'm waiting,
Waiting to hear you groan,
Waiting to get you alone,
Waiting for us to meet,
Waiting to get off the street,
Waiting for my heart,
To skip a beat,
Waiting for the rush!
Tired of all your flash,
Get rid of the trash, and,
Show me your cash,
So where do you go to find a lover?
And where will you find a brother?
Is this the end of the road?
Will you stoop low?
So that I can grow?

Waiting....
Iwas always waitng,
waiting for dinner to be served
waiting for my daughter to out,
Waiting for the servicing of the car,
waiting for the bus to come,
Waiting for the train to arrive,
waitng for the night sleep,
Waiting for the calls on phone,
Waiting the credit card to be mailed,
Waiting for the ration card,
waiting for renewal of driving licence,
Waiting the daughter to come,
Waiting for good word from the boss,
Waiting in Q for the ATM,
Waiting for the email response,
Waiting for the promotions,
Waiting for daughter's results
Waiting for a praise from my wife,
Waiting for the friends to gather,
Waitnig for a fove star meal,
waitnig for a look from a dame,
Waiting for the loves not reaching,
And waiting for the death at last.

Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can take your hand and stroll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go on the streets and see the people smile.
Give me your hand,
So I could tell you that things will be alright.
The rooms still dark,
But it wont be so long,
And I can take you outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the park and roll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the docks and watch the boats go by.
Come on, love, give me your hand,
And things will be alright.
The rooms still cold,
But it wont be so long,
That we can go outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I could see your hair shining in the air.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can see the sky reflected in your eyes.
Come on, love, dont be depressed,
Things will be alright.
The rooms too low,
But it wont be so long,
That we can be outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise.

Waiting For A Blue Sky
He sits upon the empty sand
and gazes up to the endless grey
The weathered face
and battered hands
Protest the soul
that carried them so far this way
The beaten skin
is turning to a wrinkled smile
And his eyes light up
and give his soul away
He said, I'm waiting for a blue sky
I am waiting for a bright day
I'll be there thru the wind and rain
Don't care what anybody says
I'm waiting for a morning bright
that fills the day with all its clean bright light
I'm waiting for a blue sky
I'm waiting for a blue sky
I'm waiting for a bright day
I'll be there thru the wind and rain
Don't care what anyone else says
I'm waiting for a morning bright
that fills the day with all its clean bright light
I'm waiting for a blue sky

The School Days are near!
Same shrieking morning alarms,
Same morning fear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
Sleeping in the bathroom,
From out, Mom shouts, '' DO YOU EVEN HEAR? ''
The school days are near, The school days are near!
So drowsy I am,
Confused, don't know what to wear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
And entered into the school,
Murmuring silently, '' Oh dear! Oh dear! ''
The school days are near, the school days are near!
And if the first period is Maths,
Not again those equations linear! !
The school days are near, the school days are near!
A look at the load of books,
From the corner of my eye drops a tear!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Gosh! When will vacations come?
We'll have to wait an year!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Hoping when we go,
We'll find joy, sheer!
The school days are near, The school days are near! ! : D

Its Cold Outside Of Your Heart
The harder I try
Seems the further I fall
The deeper my love seems to be
And I know that i
Never doubted at all
That someone was waiting for me
Then out of the blue
It was over
And how did you think I would survive
Cos its cold outside
Yes its cold outside of your heart
Cos its cold outside
Yes its cold outside of your heart
I never thought it could happen to me
Like the one that gets you
That you just dont see
And now I dont want to be free
I thought it was always to be
That someone was waiting for me
The longer the shadows
Become in my life
The colder the breeze seems to be
The days roll on by
Still I cant quite believe
That someones not waiting for me
The flame of desire
Is still burning
The warmth of your body close to mine
Cos its cold outside
Yes its cold outside of your heart
Cos its cold outside
Yes its cold outside of your heart
Its a big world to face all alone
And Im begging you now just to come on home
Cos i, I dont want to be free
I thought it was always to be
That someone was waiting for me
You know that its you I need
You see I refuse to believe
That someones not waiting for me
