Caravan
Moses went into the desert
Moses came back with the law
Jesus went into the desert
God only knows what he saw
Hitch up your ass and your camel
Fill up your skin at the well
Roll up your tent, whisper your prayers
Are you ready to ride through hell
Caravan moving through the night
Sleeping in the light of day

So Sad
There's always a lull before the storm
and then all hell breaks loose.
We close our eyes to the chaos
and place our necks in a noose.
Why, why, why can't we see
that what we're living is a false reality?
The lies are fed us everyday
by the mainstream media called TV.
The American dream is a nightmare now
and still the masses are fooled.
Why are we so complacent?
Do we just love to be ruled?
I don't understand what it will take
to awaken from the zombie state.
I guess we need to be burdened
by too much on our plate.
And the storm is bold. The storm is strong
and the glow that was this nation
is now succumbing to the deadly powers
that gives us radiation.

A Child's Amaze
amaze, cold amazement
those faces i saw as a child
those faces that can still trap
me between the lines of their
scowls with mere recollections
those cold cold faces that seemed
to have come out of er somewhere
a torture chamber? a lonely prison?
disappointment land?
i did not know hell, too young to know
wonder who first coined cold as hell
could hell be cold anyway?
well then i did not know
much about fridge either
in backward borneo 40 years back
the coldness of people's faces
racked the mind and dissettled
a budding heart mored used to
cajoles and warm embraces
i still see men with
cold cold faces, demeanor
hell, ice, fridge have become
overused, redundant words
to describe such poor souls
i picture them as homo sapiens
who carry an arctic with them
and wonder how they could make
friends and warm them up
cold cold people with cold cold faces
who could cut deeper to the bone
than ice and snow

I Am On My Way Back Home
I am on my way back home
Before the snow storm starts
Because I heard on the radio
That the snow storm could come at any time today
And
That is the weather for today
Also
All the stores are closed already
Because of the bad weather
They are going home early also
At 3: 00 pm I boarded the bus
Thanks god I was on the bus
Because the snow storm started
It was coming down fast and hard
I knew that it would be a long ride
Home on the bus specially when the weather is bad
Like today
On a good day I get home at 6: 00 pm
Today I got home at 9: 00 pm
