Horizon

the sea and the sky
hold onto each other
only the horizon knows
the distance between their longings
- echoed over and over
in a restless mass of
tide cresting between
anxious heave of hope
and the tremulous sigh of anguish

second version

the sea and the sky
share one heart
only the horizon
knows the distance
between their longings
- echoed over and over
beyond a restless mass of
tide cresting between
the anxious heave of hope
and the tremulous
sigh of anguish

final version

the sea and the sky
share one heart
lip to lip in an embrace
spread out over the horizon
the distance of their longing is
echoed over and over
in a restless mass of tide
cresting between
anxious hints of hope
and the tremulous sighs
of anguish

What we are...

Two souls separated by a distance
Two hearts engaged with their own lives
Two spirits misplaced in each own horizon
Two people shackled by their own destiny

That’s what we are…

Love was introduced breaking the distance
Hope brings together the different lives
Faith binds two souls together in one horizon
Candles of passion burns the written destiny

That’s what we are…

Only time can tell and erase the distance
An eternal flame will burn the rest of our lives
Burning intensity you can see across the horizon
The scars of love and tenderness will rewrite destiny

That’s what we are…

if i heave a sigh, what will i do with what i did not heave?

if i heave a sigh
into the air, and i keep some other more inside myself,
unconsumed, unspent,
what will i do with it?
keep it
like a secret in my closed fingers and pretend i am angry
with this clenched fist
when in truth i have nothing
no plan of keeping things that long because my arms
my soon go
into the river and be lost floating like a log from a hill?

i heave a sigh, that is enough relief,
i am emptied of something heavy
in my nose
i become an island losing air
but keeping sand and
stones
to keep my balance with the coconut trees
still
making landmarks to lost directions,

but it is my way of making my senses alive
i heave a sigh
and i want you to really hear it at a very close distance
just you and me
for you to know where i have situated myself
in this vast
nothingness,

i am here, touch me,
i am warm, i am fire,

you have been taking the forms of water
cold, damp,
having the face of the night, where the moon lost its light,

what are you doing to me?
i am taking you but you are the one taking me nowhere
i am lost by your promises
of a raft
i lost track of your waft, and here i am lost again as i

heave a sigh, deeper
this time....

Restless

I dont belong to no one
I dont belong at all
Got my face in the corner
Got my back to the wall
And pretty baby Im restless, restless
Restless through and through
Im restless, restless
You look restless too
Im a hair trigger lover
And I cant face up to nothing
Im impatient with the wind
But Im waitin here for somethin
And pretty baby Im restless, restless
Restless through and through
Im restless, restless
You look restless too
Restless sleep, twisted dreams
Moving targets, silent screams
Restless city, restless street
Restless you , restless me
Im a face at the window
Im a black satin sheet
And I cant stay warm
I stay out in the street
And pretty baby Im restless, restless
Restless through and through
Im restless, restless
You look restless too

Distances

distance. space.silence.

what is the distance between
your nose to my eyes?

it is the kiss that seals it.

what is the distance between
our silence for days?

it is the distance of longing.

what is the distance between
these miles and miles of separation?

it is this knowing a little bit of ourselves
that sews the torn pieces of cloth

i keep a little distance
between my heart and my head.

i keep this distance between
you and myself, you know why?

i want to see you more.
The farther you are, the more

i can see you the more you
can see me.

IT is the farthest star
that we long much.

IT is the love that is gone
that we want to recover.

IT is the broken heart that we
want to mend.

It is this certain distance
that makes us more human.

This longing. This pain.

Plainte Eternelle

The sun sinks down, the tremulous daylight dies.
(Down their long shafts the weary sunbeams glide.)
The white-winged ships drift with the falling tide,
Come back, my love, with pity in your eyes!

The tall white ships drift with the falling tide.
(Far, far away I hear the seamews' cries.)
Come back, my love, with pity in your eyes !
There is no room now in my heart for pride.

Come back, come back ! with pity in your eyes.
(The night is dark, the sea is fierce and wide.)
There is no room now in my heart for pride,
Though I become the scorn of all the wise.

I have no place now in my heart for pride.
(The moon and stars have fallen from the skies.)
Though I become the scorn of all the wise,
Thrust, if you will, sharp arrows in my side.

Let me become the scorn of all the wise.
(Out of the East I see the morning ride.)
Thrust, if you will, sharp arrows in my side,
Play with my tears and feed upon my sighs.

Wound me with swords, put arrows in my side.
(On the white sea the haze of noon-day lies.)
Play with my tears and feed upon my sighs,
But come, my love, before my heart has died.

Drink my salt tears and feed upon my sighs.
(Westward the evening goes with one red stride.)
Come back, my love, before my heart has died,
Down sinks the sun, the tremulous daylight dies.

Come back ! my love, before my heart has died.
(Out of the South I see the pale moon rise.)
Down sinks the sun, the tremulous daylight dies,
The white-winged ships drift with the falling tide.

Adieu Old Time

Our heart drops a tear, it also merrily sings
For the loss we suffered and gain of precious things
Hope in our breasts, we heave a little sigh
For the dawn of new time, for the year gone by!
The flow is timeless, we can’t stem the tide
Today’s wizened and old, was yesterday’s young bride
Yet life goes on, the dreams never die
We welcome new year, bid the old goodbye!

Zora Neale Hurston

Ships at a distance have every man's wish on board. For some they come in with the tide. For others they sail forever on the horizon, never out of sight, never landing until the Watcher turns his eyes away in resignation, his dreams mocked to death by Time. That is the life of men.

At This Great Distance

Memory
Ancient light from a binary star
Bends across a receeding tide
A single point of light st this great distance
At this great distance only the eye
Pressed against the telescope of dreams
Sees two stars
Two stars, two white hot lines on a firey white
Spinning madly on lines defined
By each others gravity.
And by the time we see
The light of memory
There is no hope
Theres no hope
Only memory
They danced to songs
Played at the speed of light
Red shifting
Untouchable
At this great distance two stars, two souls
Become one single point of light
Not hot
Not cold
Not you
Not me
Only memory
Chorus
Only memory - at this great distance
(repeat to end

Restless Heart

(coverdale/vandenberg)
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time.
There are times in my life,
I dont know witch way to turn,
When everything I touch
I get my fingers burned...
Dreams to ashes, ashes to dust,
When all that glitters
Is dull with rust...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time...
Im torn and tattered,
Shattered and worn,
Ive had enough
Trying to live my life
In the eye of the storm...
Every heartache
Leaves a scar on my face,
Somebody reach out
Or throw me a line,
Get me out of this place...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting, wasting,
My precious time...
Oh, so tired.
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting, wasting,
All of my precious time...
Restless heart, restless mind,
So Im tired of wasting, wasting,
All of my precious time, time, time
Restless heart...

Restless

Restless mind
Restless heart
Restless soul,
In a restless body
Need some rest.

They all await death
To release them from
Their restless misery.

They’ll fly away
Into nothingness
Leaving behind…
Their lifeless body.

Restless Kind

(Michael Henderson)
Well I was born the restless kind
Settlin' down never crossed my mind
Wild and wooly I guess that's me
People sure get nervous when a man is free
I can hold my tongue and I can hold my wine
I can hold my own I'm the restless kind
I've seen the country and I've been to town
Rode in fancy cars with the top rolled down
Comin' down the road like a summer breeze
Whatever it takes I do what I please
I can hold my horses I can hold the line
Yeah I can hold my own I'm the restless kind
Yeah the restless kind
I was born the restless kind
I never assume what I'm gonna find
I can stand my ground I can slip through a crack
But as sure as I leave buddy I'll be back
I can hold my temper I can bide my time
Yeah I can hold my own I'm the restless kind
I can hold my tongue I can hold my wine
Yeah I can hold my own I'm the restless kind
Oh I'm the restless kind
Rough and rowdy restless kind

In God's Horizon

it is in God's horizon that all are equal, regardless, of faith, sex, religion, race, even in our decision of where to end our lives our belief, has always been there to reminds the, thirsts of our soul, to a dream of dreams and a hope against hope, that this journey is worth to
live by

the immortal of soul is the only key we hold,   to reach what is life everlasting, what we are today is not what we will bring us in life after death, it is our heart, our faith, our being one, our genuineness of belief, that would leads us to the beginning of life

the trust in our soul, woven with forgiveness, weaken God's wrath, that the harmony of a sinner and the giver of life, all things will be judged accordingly, in God's mercy, witness by our very own soul, when time has come to an end, death is certain and life final direction is on the horizon, be sure that in the moment of silence, whisper your soul that, in your heart

..... ' your happy in the company of angels singing hymn of praise with God of which you know Him '... in your soul and want to live through out Eternity.... in God's Horizon

My Boy Jack

1914-1918

'Have you news of my boy Jack?'
Not this tide.
'When d'you think that he'll come back?'
Not with this wind blowing, and this tide.
'Has anyone else had word of him?'
Not this tide.
For what is sunk will hardly swim,
Not with this wind blowing and this tide.
'Oh, dear, what comfort can I find?'
None this tide,
Nor any tide,
Except he did not shame his kind-
Not even with that wind blowing, and that tide.
Then hold your head up all the more,
This tide,
And every tide;
Because he was the son you bore,
And gave to that wind blowing and that tide!

Hope Dieth: Hope Liveth

Strong are thine arms, O love, & strong
Thine heart to live, and love, and long;
But thou art wed to grief and wrong:
Live, then, and long, though hope be dead!
Live on, & labour thro’ the years!
Make pictures through the mist of tears,
Of unforgotten happy fears,
That crossed the time ere hope was dead.
Draw near the place where once we stood
Amid delight’s swift-rushing flood,
And we and all the world seemed good
Nor needed hope now cold and dead.
Dream in the dawn I come to thee
Weeping for things that may not be!
Dream that thou layest lips on me!
Wake, wake to clasp hope’s body dead!
Count o’er and o’er, and one by one
The minutes of the happy sun
That while agone on kissed lips shone,
Count on, rest not, for hope is dead.
Weep, though no hair’s breadth thou shalt move
The living Earth, the heaven above
By all the bitterness of love!
Weep and cease not, now hope is dead!
Sighs rest thee not, tears bring no ease,
Life hath no joy, and Death no peace:
The years change not, though they decrease,
For hope is dead, for hope is dead.
Speak, love, I listen: far away
I bless the tremulous lips, that say,
“Mock not the afternoon of day,
Mock not the tide when hope is dead!”
I bless thee, O my love, who say’st:
“Mock not the thistle-cumbered waste;
I hold Love’s hand, and make no haste
Down the long way, now hope is dead.
With other names do we name pain,
The long years wear our hearts in vain.
Mock not our loss grown into gain,
Mock not our lost hope lying dead.
Our eyes gaze for no morning-star,
No glimmer of the dawn afar;
Full silent wayfarers we are
Since ere the noon-tide hope lay dead.
Behold with lack of happiness
The master, Love, our hearts did bless
Lest we should think of him the less:
Love dieth not, though hope is dead!”

From A Distance

From a distance, the world looks blue and green,
And the snow capped mountains so white.
From a distance the ocean meets the stream,
And the eagle takes to flight.
From a distance, there is harmony
And it echoes through the land.
Its the voice of hope, its the voice of peace,
Its the voice of every man.
From a distance, we all have enough,
And no-one is in need.
There are no guns, no bombs and no disease
No hungry mouths to feed.
For a moment we must be instruments,
Martching in a common band,
Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace,
Theyre is the songs of every one.
God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us, from a distance.
From a distance, you look like my friend,
Even though we are at war.
From a distance, I cant comprehend,
What all this war is for.
What we need is love and harmony,
Let it echo through the land.
Its the hope of hopes, its the love of loves,
Its the heart of everyone.
Its the hope of hopes, its the love of loves,
Its the song of everyone.
Sing out, songs of hope,
Sing out, songs of freedom,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, songs of peace,
Sing out, songs of justice,
Sing out, songs of harmony,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, everyone,
Sing out, songs of hope,
Sing out, songs of freedom,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, songs of peace,
Sing out, songs of justice,
Sing out, songs in harmony,
Sing out, sing about love,
Sing out, everyone.
Sing out.

A Place In The Sun

Like a long lonely stream
I keep runnin towards a dream
Movin on, movin on
Like a branch on a tree
I keep reachin to be free
Movin on, movin on
cause theres a place in the sun
Where theres hope for evryone
Where my poor restless hearts gotta run
Theres a place in the sun
And before my life is done
Got to find me a place in the sun
Like an old dusty road
I get weary from the load
Movin on, movin on
Like this tired troubled earth
Ive been rollin since my birth
Movin on, movin on
Theres a place in the sun
Where theres hope for evryone
Where my poor restless hearts gotta run
Theres a place in the sun
And before my life is done
Got to find me a place in the sun
You know when times are bad
And youre feeling sad
I want you to always remember
Yes, theres a place in the sun
Where theres hope for evryone
Where my poor restless hearts gotta run
Theres a place in the sun
Where theres hope for evryone
Where my poor restless hearts gotta run
Theres a place in the sun
Where theres hope for evryone...

Were There Hope

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles

To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.

But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?
