The Lass With The Delicate Air
Timid and smiling, beautiful and shy,
She drops her head at every passer bye.
Afraid of praise she hurries down the streets
And turns away from every smile she meets.
The forward clown has many things to say
And holds her by the gown to make her stay,
The picture of good health she goes along,
Hale as the morn and happy as her song.
Yet there is one who never feels a fear
To whisper pleasing fancies in her ear;
Yet een from him she shuns a rude embrace,
And stooping holds her hands before her face,--
She even shuns and fears the bolder wind,
And holds her shawl, and often looks behind.

Over the Banisters
Over the banisters bends a face,
Daringly sweet and beguiling.
Somebody stands in careless grace,
And watches the picture, smiling.
The light burns dim in the hall below,
Nobody sees her standing,
Saying good-night again, soft and slow,
Half way up to the landing.
Nobody only the eyes of brown,
Tender and full of meaning,
That smile on the fairest face in town,
Over the banisters leaning.
Tired and sleepy, with drooping head,
I wonder why she lingers;
Now, when the good-nights all are said,
Why somebody holds her fingers.
He holds her fingers and draws her down,
Suddenly growing bolder,
Till the loose hair drops its masses brown,
Like a mantle over his shoulder.
Over the banisters soft hands, fair,
Brush his cheeks like a feather,
And bright brown tresses and dusky hair,
Meet and mingle together.
There's a question asked, there's a swift caress,
She has flown like a bird from the hallway,
But over the banisters drops a "yes,"
That shall brighten the world for him alway.

Yours Forever
Here we are in the grays of winter,
Here we are just me and you,
Hold my hand,
Lets face tomorrow,
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
This precious time we've only borrowed,
The autumn winds have blown on through,
A quiet thought will tell our story,
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
Yes tomorrow still holds out its hands to you
Here some wings,
There yours forever,
And heres some dreams,
That will come true,
Take these tears, to wash away your sorrows,
Tomorrow still holds out its hands to you,
Yes tomorrow still holds out its to you,
Yes tomorrow still holds out its hands to you

A Single Candle/Death Herself
A single flame lights her face
The face of death
A single candle holds her fears
The fears of death
Her hands clasped anrond their souls
The souls of the dead
She feeds of their screams
The screams of the dead
Her legs lay bellow her
Bellow death
Her black gown over her body
The body of death
Her chest rises and falls with her breath
The breath of death
Her cloak drawn over her long flowing jet hair
The face of death
Her eyes unmoved unfeeling
Do you see it?
Do you see the soul of death?
Do you feel it?
Her skin as white as snow as it fades into darkness
The snow of tears
Her cloths as dark as night that swallows the light
The dark we all shall see
Her eyes close as she feels their souls flow
Flow from the dead
She leaves them there to lay in darkness
She steals from the dead
A single candle lights their faces filled with her
Filled with death
They fall into the darkness of her eyes, of her heart
The darkness of death
A single candle shall stay to light their way
Their way through the dark
A single candle holds their past
The pain and trials
A single candle lights her face
The face of death
A single candle holds her fears
The fears of death herself
A single candle

Power She Holds
Slowly she'll open her hand
she knows the power she holds
she look him right in the eyes and smile
she know his end will come soon
seense she release the power the she holds
on him
he knows know to look over his shoulder
her ears hears all and she see all
now that he made this enemy the wrath of
the power she holds is released on him
the second he turns his back she'll be there to
remind him what he did wrong

Hold Me Up
If I'm trying to be hidden
You still see me
If my faith has been turned into fear
If my whole world is crashing
It won't matter
I can keep it together if you're here
'Cause you are the one
Who holds me up when I fall down
You are the one who I can trust
You you are the one
Who holds me up when I fall down
You are the one who I can trust
If my dreams start to crumble
You won't worry
If my heart starts to sink into fear
If my whole plan just shatters
It won't matter
I can keep it together if you're here
'Cause you are the one
Who holds me up when I come down
You are the one who I can trust
You you are the one
Who holds me up when I fall down
You are the one who I can trust
'Cause you are the one
Who holds me up when I come down
You are the one who I can trust
You are the one who I can trust
You are the one who I can trust

Best Of What's Around
Hey my friend, it seems your eyes are troubled.
Care to share your time with me?
Would you say you're feeling low and so
A good idea would be to get it off your mind?
See you and me have a better time than most can dream
Have it better than the best
So can pull on through
Whatever tears at us, whatever holds us down
And if nothing can be done
We'll make the best of what's around.
Turns out not where but who you're with that really matters, that really matters
And hurts not much when you're around, when you're around
And if you hold on tight to what you think is your thing
You may find you're missing all the rest.
She ran up into the light, surprised,
Her arms are open. Her minds eye is
Seeing things from a better side than most can dream
On a clearer road I feel, oh you could say she's safe.
Whatever tears at her, whatever holds her down
And if nothing can be done,
She'll make the best of what's around.
Turns out not where but what you think that really matters, that really matters, that really matters, that really matters. Yeah....
See you and me, have a better time than most can dream,
Have it better than the best, so can pull on through.
Whatever tears at us, whatever holds us down,
And if nothing can be done,
We'll make the best of what's around.
Turns out not where but who you're with that really matters, that really matters.
And hurts not much when you're around, when you're around. Hey, la la...
Hold on... We'll make the best of what's around

MA USE TO LIKE TO HEAR ME SING IN CHURCH ALL THE TIME. (PIANO
PLAYS) YEA THATS THE ONE.
VERSE 1:I DON'T KNOW ABOUT TOMORROW
I JUST LIVE FROM DAY TO DAY
AND I DON'T BORROW FROM ITS SUNSHINE

The Power Of Smile
you are beautiful in any picture and any look
and the most impressive... is your smile!
really... one can show a nice smile in one picture,
but ALL your pictures show a nice smile.
this does make a difference, doesn't it?
maybe... or maybe you just communicate with your smile
something good and friendly that is in you
hi dear, take care and... keep smiling.
only the ones who have suffered really know
how life can be beautiful.
a song say: whenever i see your smiling face,
I have to smile myself...
this is the power of smile
i always smile and fight for life...

I think one of the best words in the English language is compassion. I think it holds everything. It holds love, it holds care... and if everybody just did something. We all make a difference.

The One
Takin away the fact that I care about you, its just
your way
So sweet, everything seems right around you
Did you know that you had this common way about you
When you touch
And I wanna know if I could be your girl
The one put her arms around you
The one who lays her head beside you (Your girl)
The one who listens when you need it
When no one else is, I could see it (Your girl)
The one who knows when its under control
The one who know your favorite song (Your girl)
The one you when youre feelin lost
The one you place no one above
Im happy to say in a lot of ways youve changed me
Makes me smile when you said you were glad the day you
found me
Im wishin away any hope I might ever find you
Heaven knows
I really feel Ill always be your girl
The one put her arms around you
The one who lays her head beside you (Your girl)
The one who listens when you need it
When no one else is, I could see it (Your girl)
The one who knows when its under control
The one who know your favorite song (Your girl)
The one you when youre feelin lost
The one you place no one above (Your girl)
Your girl...your girl...your girl
I just wanna be (The one whos true to you)
I just wanna be (The one who makes you smile)
I just wanna be (The one who holds you down)
Your girl...your girl...your girl (Your girl)
The one put her arms around you
The one who lays her head beside you (Your girl)
The one who listens when you need it
When no one else is, I could see it (Your girl)
The one who knows when its under control
The one who know your favorite song (Your girl)
The one you when youre feelin lost
The one you place no one above (I wanna be your girl)
The one whos true to you and down for you
The one who makes you smile and laughs with you
The one who holds you down, Im there for you
The one, the one, the one (Your girl)
The one whos true to you and down for you
The one who makes you smile and laughs with you (Your
girl)
The one who holds you down, Im there for you
The one, the one, the one
The one whos true to you
The one who makes you smile (Got to be your girl)
The one who holds you down
The one, the one, the one
The one whos true to you (Your girl)
The one who makes you smile
The one who holds you down (Your girl)
The one, the one, the one
I can be anything you need

The Girl Inside
the girl inside has a fear,
of what the girl inside holds so dear,
far from reality, but always in dream,
the girl inside is screaming althought it may not seem,
it grows louder and louder everyday,
just wondering why the feeling just wouldnt stay,
the girl inside more then ever wants to run,
just wanting to tell everyone that she is done,
the girl inside feels sick all over,
in her head she feels so drunk,
she just cant seem to shake this phunk,
the girl inside just wants to die,
even when the girl out side wond dare to cry,
the girl inside has a fear,
of what the girl inside holds so dear,
but the girl outside just wont let it near! ! !

As The Golden Stairs I Climb
And Every Burden Is Getting Lighter

Where The Mountains They Touch The Sky

And I dont borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray

My House
(Paul Overstreet/Al Gore)
My house is no mansion
But it still holds my treasures
Things that will never be sold
Theres a few things in this world
That just can't be measured
By money, by silver and gold
My house is filled with the things that I love
From her smile in the mornin'
To her soft goodnight hugs
Her whisper, her laughter
Everything that she does
My house is filled with the things that I love
This old bed that we sleep on
Don't have satin covers
But it holds some great memories
No decorations can make better lovers
In her arms I feel like a king
My house is filled with the things that I love
From her smile in the mornin'
To her soft goodnight hugs
Her whisper, her laughter
Everything that she does
My house is filled with the things that l love
Yes, my house is filled with the things that I love

Letting Go
The rain when it fall, Helps wash away the tears, Which cleanses out the heart, And takes away your fears.
The fear of the unknown, The fear that holds you back, The fear that turns you around, The fear that knocks you off track.
The things that keep you from being, The very best you can be, The fear that keeps you from conquering, The obstacles in front of thee.
How could you ever know, If your life is led by fear, So breaks the chains that bind you, Before that chance should disappear.

Known Only To Him
(words & music by stuart hamblen)
Known only to him are the great hidden secrets
Ill fear not the darkness when my flame shall dim
I know not what the future holds
But I know who holds the future
Its a secret known only to him
In this world of fear and doubt
On my knees I ask the question
Why a lonely, heavy cross I must bear
Then he tells me in my prayer
Its because I am trustworthy
He gives me strength far more than my share
Known only to him are the great hidden secrets
Ill fear not the darkness when my flame shall dim
I know not what the future holds
But I know who holds the future
Its a secret known only to him

An Easy Winter
winter is working us now
the subtle air holds the hint of snow
we are captured by an irresistible gravity
that demands sleep and disengagement
Bear
torn between hunger and sleep
feels it too
heaviness moves her slowly
toward a somnolence
that encloses
and holds for us
the promise of another Spring
there is an easy winter in your ways
that is cool
and sometimes removed
a wary smile that holds in it
the hint of stirrings
stirrings of deep springs
moving in the languid earth

Listening Wind
Mojique sees his village from a nearby hill
Mojique thinks of days before americans came
He sees the foreigners in growing numbers
He sees the foreigners in fancy houses
He thinks of days that he can still remember...now.
Mojique holds a package in his quivering hands
Mojique sends the package to the american man
Softly he glides along the streets and alleys
Up comes the wind that makes them run for cover
He feels the time is surely now or never...more.
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
The dust in my head
The dust in my head
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
(come to) drive them away
Drive them away.u
Mojique buys equipment in the market place
Mojique plants devices in the free trade zone
He feels the wind is lifting up his people
He calls the wind to guide him on his mission
He knows his friend the wind is always standing...by.
Mojique smells the wind that comes from far away
Mojique waits for news in a quiet place
He feels the presence of the wind around him
He feels the power of the past behind him
He has the knowledge of the wind to guide him...on.
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
The dust in my head
The dust in my head
The wind in my heart
The wind in my heart
(come to) drive them away
Drive them away.

Whenever She Comes Around
He turns his light out
He turns his eiderdown
She's in his bath robe
He's in her dressing gown
And he feels down
Whenever she comes around
Like the big movies
Like a big coloured clown (?)
He's looking dead good
She looks him up and frowns
And he feels down
Whenever she comes around
Oh he feels down
Whenever she comes around
