The Clown
He's the clown at the carnival
he's always lively
he's always happy
and with his little magics
he brings joy
to every children's heart.
He's the clown at the carnival
he's always smiling
but utters no word
jumping
dancing
tumbling
jugglin g
he does nothing
but give joy.
He's the clown at the carnival
but when twilight comes
no one can say.
He's the clown at the carnival
beside the cold cemented bed
of his beloved
his tears endlessly falling
from his eyes
no longer painted with colors.
He's the clown at the carnival
have you already seen his tears?

Carnival
By eric clapton
Come with me, come with me,
To the carnival, to the carnival.
You will see, you will see,
What you want to see, exactly what you want to be,
At the carnival, at the carnival, at the carnival.
Come with me, come with me,
To the carnival, to the carnival,
To the carnival, to the carnival, to the carnival.
Come with me, come with me.
Come with me, come with me.

The Carnival Is Over
Say goodbye, my own true lover,
As we sing a lovers song.
How it breaks my heart to leave you,
Now the carnival is gone.
How it breaks my heart to leave you,
Now the carnival is gone.
Say goodbye, my own true lover,
As we sing a lovers song.
How it breaks my heart to leave you,
Now the carnival is gone.
High above, the dawn is waking,
And my tears are falling rain,
For the carnival is over;
We may never meet again.
For the carnival is over;
We may never meet again.
##
##
Like a drum my heart was beating,
And your kiss was sweet as wine.
But the joys of love are fleeting
For pierrot and columbine.
Now the harbour light is calling;
This will be our last goodbye.
Though the carnival is over,
I will love you till I die.
Say goodbye, my own true lover,
As we sing a lovers song.
How it breaks my heart to leave you,
Now the carnival is gone.
Say goodbye, my own true lover,
This will be our last goodbye.
Though the carnival is over,
I will love you till I die.
Though the carnival is over,
I will love you till I die.
Though the carnival is over,
I will love you till I die.

Another clown
the clown with red nose
the clown with green ears
the clown with yellow cheeks
the clown with webbed feet
the children don’t like the clowns
all clowns
all the children are scared by all clowns
the child with orange hairs
the child with blue eyes
the child with pink smiles
the child with wide eyes
the clown don’t like the children
all children
all the clowns want to kill all children
the clown get back at home
He shouts: I hate the children
then he eats the soup of day
quietly smiling
the child get back at home
He shouts: I hate the clowns
then he eats the soup of day
quietly smiling
But the worst is forthcoming:
one child among one million
will become a clown
Me I am not a child
I am not a clown and
I do not like the soup
luckily
all sad stories have an end
and here I write a full stop

The Clown
Orbison/mcgill
I was a clown when I thought I had found
A love for me and only me but she laughed at the clown
Turned him down turned him down
I never frown ah, ah, ah, Im the clown
For it breaks my heart I play the part of a clown
Runnin round trouble bound Im the clown
I wander all around wondering if you ever cared
I go from place to place, I look from face to face
Hoping that you will be there
All over town the word is out its all around
That I love her still guess I always will Im the clown
Runnin round trouble bound Im the clown

Dancin Clown
Words and music by joni mitchell
No, you couldnt call jesse a babe in the woods
Hes just weak in self-defense
cause hes so thin skinned
He cant take a joke at his expense
Youre a push down window, says rowdy yates
I can run you up and down
Anytime I want
I can make you my dancin--
My dancin clown!
Youre my dancin clown
Dancin dancin
My dancin clown
Dancin
Youre my dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
My dancin clown
Rowdy yates is as bold as jove--
Hes all chide and snide and bluff--
Stuck in the romantic tradition
Of acting rough and tough
Youre always charging thru, says jesse
Nervous, lookin all around--
To see whos seein him bein a dancin
A dancin clown
Hes a dancin clown
Dancin dancin
A dancin clown
Dancin
Hes a dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
A dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever love comes around
Someones a dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever hearts start to pound
Someones a dancin clown
Down the street comes last-word suzie--
Shes high yellow--lookin top nice
You hear the swoosh of jungle blades
And the crackle of northern ice
Hot damn! says rowdy--lookin up
Yum! says jesse lookin down
How would you like to be her dancin
Her dancin clown?
Be her dancin clown
Dancin dancin
Her dancin clown
Dancin
Be her dancin clown
Dancin dancin dancin
Her dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Whenever love comes to town
Someones a dancin clown
Cherchez la femme
Wherever hearts start to pound
Someones a dancin clown

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XCII: Clown
The crown of the clown is a big hat of lie
And sweets and candies to lock their mouth
The victory of the clown is a bouquet of laugh
And grin and smile to hide the rest of secret
The crime of clown is a curtain of farewell
And blindfold and cold blood in making shadow
The sorrow of clown is a dance forever
And sin and punishment that never come to end

Joke Ya Mind
Joke ya mind...
Joker jumping joker sing
Joke ya mind...
Wicked clown is in the house
Wake up in my golden bed
Wicked thoughts inside my head
Step outside and glide away
Nothings wicked here today
I can breathe the magic mist
And excell your every wish
Juggla jump from cloud to cloud
Ring them bells, ring them loud
I can jump across the land
Wind up in the emerald sand
Swing the jewels of endless time
Take it all cuz its mine
Pour a bowl of chocolate soup
Serve it with the fruit loop
This is my world I am king
Joker sing, joker sing
Joke ya mind...
Joker jumping joker sing
Joke ya mind...
Wicked clown is in the house
I can fall in love like that
In my world she loves me back
If I chose, I chose alone
Freak is gone, boys is on
Cuz the homies watch your back
Life is over like that
Once its done, its done, its dead
Ticky-tocky-ticky-dead
If you feel the need to go
Go, go, wont ya go
They call you a freak show
Welcome to the carnival
Yes, ladies and gentlemen
The wicked clowns will arrive in your town soon
And believe me, it wont be pretty
Justice must be served
To the uncaring selfish wealthy ones
Be prepared and get ready
To catch 400 years of hell
And, oh, one last note to all
Wicked clown is in the house
Joke ya mind...
Welcome to the carnival
I can breathe the magic mist
And excell your every wish
Juggla jump from cloud to cloud
Ring them bells, ring them loud

Fred The Clown
Orange, blue, red, white and brown
The favorite colors of Fred the Clown
A happy and jolly clown he is
But some people he likes to tease
Everyone hates to be with Fred the Clown
But Fred never showed the people a frown
He never felt bad for what he did
The hatred inside the people had hid
The people thought of what to do with Fred the Clown
They decided to talk to the mayor of town
He laughed at what the people said
He laughed until his face gone red
The mayor didn't believe the people
For Fred the Clown gives him a tickle
They always the mayor smiled that way
Ever since Fred came each day
He already knew what Fred was doing
So he decided to call Fred for a meeting
The mayor told him what the people had said
And so left poor little Fred
The people decided to give Fred a chance
So Fred the Clown gave them a dance
The dance was so funny that they laughed all day
Fred the Clown will forever stay

Its A Wonderful World
(words & music by tepper - bennett)
Young as a circus parade, its a wonderful world
Pretty as pink lemonade, its a wonderful world
Life is a carnival, live it for all your worth
You are the star of the greatest show on earth
This big wide world is a clown with his nose painted red
A rainbow colored balloons dancing high overhead
Its everyones oyster, step up get your pearl
Its a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful world
This big wide world is a clown with his nose painted red
A rainbow colored balloons dancing high overhead
Its everyones oyster, step up get your pearl
Its a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful world
Its a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful world

Carnival Time
Now is the season of Carnival.
Who's for the sunlit course?
Who's for the beat of galloping feet
And the day and the way of the horse?
Who joins the dance, tho' Lady Chance
Pleasure or pain may yield,
Who comes to the call of Carnival?
'Seven to four the field!'
This is the week of the Carnival
And the sign of a brighter dawn
In men's affairs. Who sheds old cares
Where gay frocks fleck the lawn?
Who would forget old days of fret?
Who comes to the call of mirth
And the conquering steeds? ... They're off! Who leads?
And the hoof beats spurn the earth.
Then, Hi! for the height of Carnival,
Gayer than all gone past:
And the nameless fears of the deadening years
Forsake men's minds at last.
Bright jackets flash beneath the sun
As the roar of the crowd begins,
And lifts and swells at a great home run:
'Who leads? Who lasts? Who wins?'
Ho! for the call of Carnival!
Way for the Sport of Kings!
And men, grown sane, turn once again
To all that high hope brings.
Who's for the Carnival? Who grows gay
Where galloping Fortune speeds
Around the turn to gallop our way
With the galloping, galloping steeds?

Carnival.
Carnival.
Liquid colours
In the sun.
Music on the run.
With a smile.
The perfect day of fun.
Just our style.
Amid the beautiful noise
We kissed.
Resist,
If you can,
The beat.
Our bodies gyrate
In the heat.
To the rhythm of love
In the street.
We skip, like teenage lovers
Under the scented covers
Of exotic fare.
Wafting through the air.
Our carnival extraordinaire.
That afternoon
I would serenade you.
Across the esplanade we threw
Flowers in the air.
Such a happy pair
Of souls.
Strolls,
As music fades
With the sun.
Our moonlight
Has just begun.
We toasted
Our carnival of love
In street cafe.
I held your hand.
No words to say.
Just listen
To love's symphony play.
No small talk.
Contented lovers walk
Captured by starlight array.
On
Our carnival day.

A Lover's Clown
Tiny peices of my heart
Like confetti everywhere
Hidden sorrows in the dark
You can feel it in the air
The spotlight finds me
I can no longer hide my frown
Say hello to a lover's clown
Distorted mirror images
Turn the good to bad
If that's not the way it is
Why am I so sad?
Strangers laughter is the only sound
Silence from a lover's clown
Girl that's me everybody's laughing at
With a big red nose and the tears and the silly act
Comedy, tragedy, reality
It all plays the same
If you don't want me
Tumbling from the high wire
Without a net
You're saying I'll stop falling for you
But I haven't yet
The spotlight dims and the bigtop's coming down
Curtains o'er the lover's clown
Girl, that's me everybodies laughing at
With a big red nose and the tears and the silly act
Comedy, tragedy, reality
It all plays the same
If you don't want me
Tiny peices of my heart
Scattered everywhere
Like a fool I played my part
But you were never really there
A new day dawns and the bigtop's leaving town
You can say goodbye to a lover's clown
Say goodbye

Much deeper,

It used to be like a weekend everyday
Three times at night when I came everyway
Body to body make you scream and say
Physically dance
You're not easy, take it easy
For again we are love, at one with the pope
And you stay on my mind,
So lets go to the party girl

Carnival World
Carnival world
By: jimmy buffett, roger guth, jay oliver
1989
My father always said that theres no free ride
Youve got to make a sacrifice
So many prophets on the lords side
Even your soul has got a price
But talk is cheap
It takes money to buy your freedom
And the tax mans knockin on your door
Chorus:
Spend it while you can
Moneys contraband
You cant take it with you when you go
Spend it while you can
Before its taken from your hand
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Too many hawkers on this travelin show
Everybodys got somethin to sell
Bootleg swatches, cardboard gucci gear
Watch your step at the wishing well
But talk is cheap
It takes money to buy your freedom
And the tax mans knockin on your door
Chorus:
Spend it while you can
Moneys contraband
You cant take it with you when you go
Spend it while you can
fore its taken from your hand
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Whats mine is mine
If its only one thin dime
My cash was always meant to flow
Chorus:
Spend it while you can
Moneys contraband
You cant take it with you when you go
Spend it while you can
Before its taken from your hand
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Theres no free ride in this carnival world
Theres no free ride in this carnival world

Laugh Clown Laugh
Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,
make everyone laugh real hard.
Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.
