Sausage Sam
Our Sam is quite fussy when it comes down to food,
Unless it's just right she'll just sit there and brood;
But if truth it be told, when she's in the right mood,
She sure does love her sausages.
Now a sausage is only a long tube of meat,
That you cook on a grill in a great deal of heat;
But for these our Sammy would fly down the street,
'Cause she sure does love her sausages.
'The bigger the better' I once heard her say,
'I could eat two big jumbos then go out to play;
And for supper I'll eat two again, If I may,
'Cause I sure do love them sausages.'
A nice piece of lamb isn't her cup of tea,
And what she DOES eat wouldn't fill up a flea;
But at fighting I think she would kill forty-three
If they stood in the way of her sausages.
Now you wouldn't believe if you look at her figure,
How such fatty food just does not make her bigger;
If 'they' grew in the earth she would be a great digger,
I tell you she LOVES her sausages.
Well each to his own, I suppose that it's true,
And our Sam's got the right to like what she wants to;
When she gets up to heaven 'they'll' be on the menu,
Then FOREVER she'll be eating sausages.

Whoever would have guessed that in the land of cheap sausages and mashed potatoes there could be such a change which would actually bring the French from Paris every weekend to invade Britain en masse to eat great food and drink great wine.

Make your testimony and confessions while you're eating sausages and macaroni.
Aloof
When the gathered families smelled
The aroma of sausages,
Hotdogs and spent firecrackers
On this day of Independence
I was sniffing the subtle scents
Of odoriferous flowers
That grew beyond the festiveness.
When members heard, ” come and get it! ”
From the self designated chef
I heard only sounds of nature.
When the people sat and said grace
For the food that was on their plates
I stood among the wildflowers
Too intoxicated to feast.

Big T
BIG T LOVES HIS FOOD
ONCE IT’S EDIBLE..IT’S ALL GOOD
WE HOPE HE EATS NOTHING ELSE
BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY..HE’S OUT TO PLEASE HIMSELF
BISCUITS, ROLLS, SWEETS, ANYTHING CAN BE A TREAT
EGGS TWO AT A TIME, SAUSAGES, BACON..ANY MEAT
NICELY DONE AND HEAPED UP HIGH, WITH JUST A LITTLE MORE SALT
WE HOPE SOON THAT IT’LL BE HIS DECISION TO CALL A HALT.

There are simple remedies for sausages that are too long.
Most people like short prayers and long sausages.
You cannot tie up a dog with a chain of sausages.
Sadness, In Consonance With Lady Grace

one wonders if German sausages are still delicious if charred,

A dog bitten by a snake is afraid of sausages.
Unwanted Food
Eating sausages needing more salt
Planes rumble from up above
Refrigerator does not work
Cooling is secondary for food
Eyes are huge when morsels come
Oblivious to words of warning
Songs emit when eating quickly
Joyful bliss, comments over bound
Listening to snap, crackle, and pop
Eating away, feeling explosive
Food plows inside, too much
Sounds make for unbalanced head
Legs crossed, poor feelings falling
Down, down, down the ground holds
The butt, hitting rock bottom
And the meal bleeds out the body
Showing the food feels unwanted
Never wanted to be eaten again

Never chain your dogs together with sausages. One must accustom one's self to be bored.

That is beggar's fare, said the dame, when she fried eggs with the sausages.
This One Meal
This one meal mom just made
All this food she prepared
This one meal, I remembered
Mom and I had a deal
She said 'Just Eat It'
I stared at the bread I just bit
Watching mom throw away the leftover
Did she even think about the world hunger?
I tried to stop thinking about all this
I couldn't look at my full dish
I cannot hide it
It is too hard, ..
All the world hunger..
From which people die
All this food mom just threw away
Kidney Beans, Sausages, Potatoes...
If only she thought of what she was doing
Throwing away all this food
If only she thought
of what this food could do
save lives, prevent hunger..
Help people live their lives longer..

Have I got swine flu?
Your coughing and sneezing
and your head is pounding away
but you can't go to the doctors
if you do there will be hell to pay.
It used to be plain old influenza
you could get rid of it in a week
but this thing is related to a pig
so watch out for the signs of a squeak.
I think i may well have got it
because I've begun to wallow in mud
and I hate the smell of bacon
but I'd eat truffles all day if I could.
The diagnosis isn't looking good
I've been told to stay in and not go out
still they say it should clear up soon
but I'll be left with a tail and a snout.
I'll probably end up in a slaughterhouse
just a piece of meat on a hook
then on to the local butchers shop
as pork sausages all ready to cook.
So if your feeling under the weather
and you think you have got swine flu
if I was you I'd keep it to yourself
or you could end up being eaten at a barbecue!

We came from a family where we ran our own small business. Our dad made his own products. We made our own sausages, our own meatloafs, our own pickles. Dad had to do everything himself. He had to figure out how to finance his business.
