Canvas
I painted all my life...
just to be praised by the world.
Till you came - like the heat of the flame,
you stayed with me to hold.
My brush had a little more strength,
when i saw your heavenly smile.
Oh, how i wanted to steal those moments away...
and paint them all for awhile.
My heart had a little more art...
when I saw your gracious curves.
Oh, how i wanted to immortalize your eyes,
that speaks to me like a dove.
But the world still kept his praises away...
till i almost gave it up.
But then you gave me courage
and you always filled me up.
And then the world took you away from me-
till my soul has slowly died.
I stole your memories away...
and painted you by night.
Oh, how your eyes reflect the things
I never saw before.
How I can see my very soul
just by looking there for more.
Oh, how your smiles revived my heart...
but filled my heart with tears;
How perfect they were on my canvas,
how they hideth all my fears.
And then the world gave me the praise
I wanted so before...
He gave to me my past prayers
just after he took you so.
If I could only tell the world
how mean he was to me...
and curse the stars, and curse the moons...
and heavens constantly.
I felt like painting all my life
just to end up painting you.
Giving you life on my canvas...
stealing you from death by my brush.

God gave me one heart
but its broken
god gave me two eyes
but i wish i couldnt see
god gave me to feet
i wish i could just leave
god gave me two hands
but i wish i couldnt feel
god gave me one brain
but i wish i couldnt think
god gave me my memories
but i wish i couldnt remeber
god gave me you
but i wish i never wouldve lost you
god took you away
and i wish you were still here

Thanks To You
You gave me life,
Gave me your heart
Your shoulder when I needed to cry
You gave me hope when all my hope was gone
Wings so my dreams can fly
And I havent told you enough
Havent been good enough, making you see
Chorus:
My love for you will live in my heart
Until eternitys through
I see your smile in the eyes of my child
I am who I am, mama, thanks to you
You gave me your world,
Gave me your voice
Gave me your everything
Each breath of your life
You believe when I can never have
You teach my faith to survive
And I can never do enough
Never thank you enough, for all that you are
(repeat chorus)
I know the treasure, Im filled with grace
Whenever I see your face
(...music....)
And I see your smile in the eyes of my child
I am who I am, mama, thanks to you
To you......

Enough Of Me
We were all wounded in some domestic war
I found you to settle my score
You looked like father
You felt like mother
My mind told my heart
There is no other
And I gave you my soul
And every ounce of control
I gave you my skin
And my original sin
I gave you my pride and my side
oh my pride
Ain't that enough
I turned your dreams into lightning
Ain't that enough
I held the world back for you
Ain't that enough
I loved you past the point of dying
Ain't that enough of me for you
I was so sure one and one gave you one
My noisy love is coming undone
Now you leave like father
Disappointed like mother
And I know in my heart
There is no other
And I gave you my soul
And every ounce of control
And I gave you my shame
And my eternal flame
And I gave you my need and my seed Oh my need
Why can't you hold on

If I Gave You My Heart
If I gave you my heart
Where would you be
Would it mean nothing
If not for me
If I gave you my eyes
What would they see
Would they see nothing
If not for me
But I gave you my hand and my sign and my soul on the earth
And I gave up on truth when I heard about the words
I lived out of love when I gave it away
And I sold off my soul when theres no one to pay
If I gave you my hand
What would it write
Would it say nothing
Or say its alright
If I gave you my arms
Would they hold you tight
First blood (? ) in morning
Or bid you goodnight
And I gave you my strength and my worth and I gave you my gift
And I moved on the first and I left us to drift
And I reap from the soil and I build hopes from wood
Its a new better life and we have to ensure
And I gave you my dream of the world and you stole the key
You sang to the wind in the whole ? ? ? sea
And I feel my weight and I guard my soul
And I found my beliefs when I found my control
I gave you my hand and my soul on the earth
And I gave up on the truth when I heard about the words
So I lived out of love when I gave it away
And I sold off my soul when theres no one to pay

x14-Lips of the Grave
(I suggest you read first the 'COLD WATERS'.3rd)
-Lady Rose Stevens-
The grave has a clever way of keeping secrets.
I stood here as I watched you
Swallowed by the earth.
How and why… I only knew.
I knew the grief you took away with you.
And it hurts like hell to see you go,
as I felt the guilt inside me flow.
The world doesn’t know why you died…
as tears and fears you always hide.
You always had your sweetest smile,
as you walked alone the street for awhile.
I never should have taken your lover away-
As though the lips of your grave
Has something else to say.
But then, goodbye - I have to go.
And let our secrets be buried with the sorrows.
I never meant to break your heart…
It’s just that when I saw him,
my heart just fell in love.
I never knew how love gave me life;
And how it gave you death till now.
But then goodbye - I have to go.

Today I Watched You Sleep
Today I watched you sleep
You looked so peaceful, a beautiful picture for my mind to keep
I wondered what heavenly dream you were having
For you had on a sweet easy smile; endearing
Watching you made my heart sing
I could almost feel it dancing
I caught myself smiling
Taylor Swift's Tim McGraw playing
I thought to myself, what a creature to behold
Always thought you a god, truth be told
Perfect brows, a well carved jaw
Lips of pure honey, God, I loved what I saw
Beautiful body, arms so strong
I could never go wrong
You felt so warm beside me, like a bottle of gin
To wake you would be a mortal sin
Like you read my mind
Your eyes slowly opened so deep and kind
I couldn't help but smile again
The look you gave me was like sunshine through the rain
I wish I had my paint, brush and canvas
Just imagine a moment so beautiful on canvas
Would send the Mona Lisa into oblivion
Instead, I sighed and closed my eyes
Carefully painting the picture in my mind, kinda like a golden sunrise

If I Were A Painting
If I were a painting
Captured on canvas
Alone in the portriat I would stand
And brush strokes bold
Yet soft as a whisper
The work of a feminine hand.
Caught in a still life
Surrounded by shadows
And lost in a background of blue
If I were a painting
My price would be pain
And the artist would have to be you.
I imagine the colors
Would all run together
If you ever allowed me to cry
So don't paint the tears
Just let me remember me
Without you in my eyes.
It's only the frame
That holds me together
Or else I would be falling apart
If I were a painting
I wouldn't feel
And you wouldnt be breaking my heart...

Tonight I Let My Eyes To Tell You
Another day in my life begins,
I wake up in your arms again,
What magic happen that you in my life exist,
And you are meant to be mine.
Our first meeting night,
Bind us together in a kiss,
You brought me passion and white roses,
And a nice smile on your lovely face.
In the night of our first kiss,
From passion and kisses our love was born,
My heart was yours and you hold it,
Till life will reach the final end.
Tonight i let my eyes to tell you,
When i look into your eyes,
How much i miss and i adore you,
How much i love you day by day.
I gave you my hand to hold it,
And you look with love into my eyes,
I gave to you my heart with love,
So you can have it till the end of time.

Where Is She Now?
I once knew,
this person who,
devoted their live,
to changing the world,
but now I wonder,
where she went.
She had a heart,
that only would beat,
when she felt that this world,
truly needed a shining light.
She wanted to be that light,
she wanted to change,
she wanted to give hope,
she wanted it all,
but now look,
where is she now?
Many years ago,
I was this young girl,
who only wanted the best,
who only needed to see,
the smile of one person,
to brighten her day.
Now she can't even look,
at a single smile,
because it just brings her down,
nothing can ever change,
not in her eyes.
Her eyes were once blue,
blue like the skies,
but now her eyes,
are a dark coal-like colour.
She's lost in this world,
she's lost herself too,
I just wish,
she'd figure her life out soon.

Kahlo
She ran the school hand-in-hand with this boy
Creating mischief and mystery hand-in-hand with this boy
Together, fooling and tricking this man who painted his courage
She gleefully watched this man who painted his courage
She came to school each morning with this boy
Just to watch this mysterious painter man
She left school each night, with this boy
With the trickster boy, left the man
She ran into a block she couldn’t ignore
She was damaged beyond healthy repair
Carrying her as she bled, this boy
Saved her from the wreckage
Then left her to write him time and time again
Never once did he look at her letters, or care
She gave up, gave up on this boy
What could she have loved in this boy?
She picked up a brush and was like the man
She painted her pain and courage, like the man
She adored her paints
Admired her brush
Marveled at the creations
Fell in love with the canvas
Some time later, she again met the painter man
She adored the man
Admired the man
Marveled at the man
Fell in love with the man

My Mom
Mom you are my inspiration
Nobody is like you in this world
You are my god
You gave me this world to survive
If you are not here
Then how would I have enjoyed the life
You the first teacher
To teach me about manners
Whenever I fall you support me like a ladder
You only gave me breath
You only gave me heart
You gave me all my body parts
You are like a sun
Always giving me ray of hope in the darkness
Mom your heart is like ocean full of emotions
Always take care about other
But never bothered about your own self
Mom for me you are like an Oscar winner
Plays different role in single life
The role of daughter the role of wife

Kiss Of Life
there must have been an angel by my side
something heavenly led me to you
look at the sky
it's the colour of love
there must have been an angel by my side
something heavenly came down from above
he led me to you
he led me to you
he built a bridge to your heart
all the way
how many tons of love inside
i can't say
when i was led to you
i knew you were the one for me
i swear the whole world could feel my heartbeat
when i lay eyes on you
ay ay ay
you wrapped me up in
the colour of love
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life
you gave me the kiss that's like
the kiss of life
wasn't it clear from the start
look the sky is full of love
yeah the sky is full of love
he built a bridge to your heart
all the way
how many tons of love inside
i can't say
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life
you gave me the kiss that's like
the kiss of life
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life
you gave me the kiss that's like
the kiss of life
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life
you gave me the kiss that's like
the kiss of life
you wrapped me up in the colour of love
must have been an angel came down from above
giving me love yeah
giving me love yeah
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life
you gave me the kiss of life
kiss of life

Thanks Again 08
It is time
Time for good bye
Just know that I tried
I tried to say all this
Every time
I never thought to find this pain again
But in you my gift from God
I did
It is beautiful
It is welcomed
Thanks again
For giving me hope
Making me dream
Things that will never be
Thanks again
For your shelter, your escape, your peace
That will never belong to me
Thanks again
For breaking my heart
And making me find my wings
Love
Such a prescious thing
Even if it is different than we want it to be
Even if we never saw it coming
Look at those eyes the way I wanted you to look at mine
When you wake it won’t be by my side
Think of your new love
While I think of you
While I smile and sigh
Thanks again
For giving me hope
Making me dream
Things that will never be
Thanks again
For your shelter your escape your peace
That will never belong to me
Thanks again
For breaking my heart
And making me find my wings
Here is my advice
Release your fears
Swallow your pride
Follow happiness
When it’s true it’s worth the price
Dulce’ I’ll be here with out end
When you’re bored or just need a friend
Thanks again
You gave me love
You gave me peace
You gave me courage to use my wings
This isn’t what I wanted
But it’s what I needed
So thanks again
For finding my heart
Even if it’s something you won’t keep
Just know I’d do it all over
No regrets
You changed my life with out ever knowing it

A Dacian's prayer [Rugăciunea unui dac]
When there was neither death, nor immortality,
Nor seed of light to give life and fertility,
Nor yesterday, today, tomorrow and for ever,
For one was everything and all were one together;
When earth and sky and air and all this world profound
Were things that until then had never been around,
Back then, was only You, and in my mind I wonder,
Who is the God we worship, who makes us hear the thunder?
He is the God that stood before all gods in dark
And from the boundless waters produced a little spark,
He gives the gods their souls, makes happy His creation
He is for all the people a fountain of salvation
Cheer up and praise the Lord! Forget about your strife,
He is the death of death and is the life of life!
And He gave me the eyes to see the shining light
And mercifully filled my heart with pure delight
In roaring winds I've heard His footsteps all the time
And in a sublime song I've felt His holy rhyme,
But beside all these things, I still have a request,
To let me find at last His sweet eternal rest!
To curse the man who wants to soothe my awful pain
To bless the one who always oppresses me in vain,
To listen any mouth that shouts at me with strife,
To strengthen any arm that wants to take my life
And let that guy to be the best and walk ahead
Who comes to steal the stone on which I lay my head!
Rejected by the people, I'll roam through all my years
Until I feel my eyes devoid of any tears,
For every man will be my bitter foe from birth,
That's why I cannot judge or measure my own worth;
The pain and the ordeal have chilled my heart severely,
That I can curse my mother, whom I have loved so dearly –
But when my hate will fade and love will take its place
I might forget my pain and leave this life with grace.
And if I die an outlaw who wanted to be free,
Let them throw out my body to rot under a tree
And offer, God, a crown with many precious stones
To him who'll bring the dogs to eat my heart and bones.
And give eternal life to those who slap my face,
Who throw at me with stones and sink me in disgrace!
And only then, my Father, I'll thank you on my knees,
Because You gave me power to go through life with ease
I shall not beg for mercy or bend my head and cry
To curses, spite and evil I want to turn Your eye,
To feel Your holy breath upon my mortal face,
To die and rest in peace and leave behind no trace!

Is It Out of Jealousy?
The last glimpse of the sun
painted up the sky
with the colors of life and beauty;
till darkness stole its painting away...
is it out of jealousy?
There are no right words to say.
This night is filled with tender rain
that sang its solemn song
with the rhythm of love and beauty;
till the thunder broke its song away...
is it out of jealousy?
I have no right words to say.
My heart is filled with your love;
The glory of that love
made dazzling sparks of hope;
till fate stole those sparks away...
is it out of jealousy?
No right words are left to say.

Forgave, Saved and Raised
The Spirit sent from Jesus Christ, came and my heart He engaged.
Christ became for all a sacrifice, and all of my sins Christ forgave.
And by the blood of Jesus Christ, a sinful soul by Christ was saved.
From the grave He came to life, and now my life Christ has raised.
The Holy Spirit Christ sent to us, came from The Father up above.
Who had sent to us His Son Jesus, to the entire world by His Love.
And in His Son we place our trust, as we look to The Father above.
God then purges us of worldly lust, by filling us with Christ like love.
Christ forgave me of all my sin, when I accepted Him into my heart.
He cleansed my heart deep within, and gave me a brand new start.
And The Spirit that was sent from Him, from my life shall not depart.
The Spirit helps me avoid all sin, as He guides my mind and heart.
As a darkened soul I was saved, through the blood of Jesus Christ.
With the very life that Christ gave, He paid for all the ultimate price.
From my life that was so depraved, He gave to me brand a new life.
And so this life, back to Him I gave, to be for Jesus a living sacrifice.
Men who once knew me are amazed, as I live like an innocent dove,
As now with Him I’ve been raised, seated in the Heavens up above.
Where He’s to be forever praised, for what’s truly God’s Eternal Love.
And I may never look on my grave, if soon raptured to His side above.

Little Things
Little things mean a lot
Little things mean a lot
When I wanted someone to give me the world
You accepted me and smiled
And let me know that you were my girl
When I wanted fancy things
Gold watches, diamond rings
You gave me your hand
cause only you could understand
Chorus:
Little things mean a lot
Appreciate what you got
If you give all what you have
Its forever well last
Dont sit around and wait for all
The great things in your life (sweetie)
Little things mean
Little things mean
Little things mean a lot
Giving me the best doesnt mean
Giving me happiness
Ill be satisfied with anything that comes close
I dont wanna settle for less but if i
Do I must confess I wont
Take it if its not from your heart
Sometimes we get wrapped up
In all the fancy things but
Dont expect life to be perfect
It dont come with static cling
Chorus

She Gave Her Angels
And now Id like 2 turn your heart 2 a tale of sheer delight
A song of adulation, love and fear
No one loved him better, no one better sacrificed
She gave her angels that summer night
Fate as she designed it took her from her man
Destiny and love dont always go hand in hand (hand in hand)
As the world lay waiting like an embryo in a womb
She gave her angels that night in june (she gave her angels)
She gave her angels 2 a man because her man had none
2 watch over him till she returned - her man, her lover, her son
Her father 4 all these things he meant 2 her, she felt it right
She gave her angels that summer night {x2}
