The Irene C.

Our motor yacht the Irene C.
No finer vessel puts to sea
She’s seventy feet from stem to stern
the motor yacht for which we yearn

Equipped with sails and engines two
You’d be amazed what speed she’ll do,
Her top speeds more than twenty knots
Much faster than the other yachts

With two state rooms she is equipped.
Sheer luxury the captain quipped.
Two smaller cabins for the crew
With far less space they must make do.
.
Our dream boat does not as yet exist
It’s purely imaginary.
It will one day we both insist.
When we have won the lottery

Without a dream what have you got,
there’s nothing to look forward to.
We share our dream about a yacht
dreams are much better dreamt by two.

Perchance to dream for friend thad

I dreamt or maybe dreamt I dreamt.
A lucid dream I could control,
in which I thought I would attempt
to contact my immortal soul.

I moved up to a higher plane.
Which I accomplished easily.
I thought perhaps that I could gain.
Some knowledge relevant to me.

I met myself and face to face
we could converse quite naturally.
Discussed the trials I must face
This seemed quite logical to me.

Was it a dream? I can’t be sure
I only know it seemed to be.
Somehow it served to reassure
me that all is as it ought to be.

Was it a dream or possibly
an altered state of consciousness.
A different reality
It could be either one I guess.

What does it matter anyway.
A dream may have reality
which we perceive a different way.
When viewed imaginatively.

Imagination is the key
which opens portals we can pass
in spirit form so easily
But must return too soon alas.

I dreamt or maybe dreamt I dreamt
a lucid dream I could control.
Perchance I failed in my attempt.
Not ready yet to be made whole.

Inspiration, motivation, satisfaction

Your wants and needs are not the same.
You needs you cannot do without.
Your wants are quite a different game.
Things that you choose to dream about.
Long cherished dreams can motivate
you to make that extra effort
and when you win appreciate.
It was much easier than you thought.
Some people are content to dream
others will make their dreams come true.
All part and parcel of life’s scheme.
Dreamers just dream and doers do..
Though some of us combine the two
We dream at first and then we do.

Yacht Dance

(andy partridge)
We, we will dance like tiny boats with cotton sails upon the tops of the seas,
That would pull us down to the depths and crush us flat if given half a chance.
No need to look back to pictures of lost, when all was rust.
We, we will skim across the surface of the mud as if were spinning pebbles
Oh, in our yacht dance
Oh, in our yacht dance
We, we will dance like tiny boats with cotton sails upon the tops of the seas,
Made of people stained with scorn who never see the light of real love.
No need to look back through diaries of lost now turned to dust.
We, we will skate across the surface of the storm as if were wheeling sea-birds.
Oh, in our yacht dance
Oh, in our yacht dance
And how theyll be jealous of both of us!
In our yacht dance.

Do I dream or am I dreamt?

Do I dream or am I dreamt?

Surrealistic landscapes can
appear to be reality.
Scenes never seen by any man.
I can imagine easily.
Strange planets occupied
by aliens hostile to men
At other times I’m satisfied
to see the mountains once again.
I’m in control I can dictate
exactly what I wish to see.
I only need to concentrate
and set my questing spirit free.
When I dream I dream lucidly
unless someone is dreaming me.

Incompetence our best defence! !

I dreamt a dream wherein I dreamt,
I dreamt a dream of deep content.
But all the while I knew I dreamt.
I tried to wake but my attempt.

My mind just treated with contempt.
Am I the dreamer or the dream
I can’t be wholly confident.
That it is not some experiment.

Conducted without my consent.
To monitor the dreams I’ve dreamt
to analyse my dreams content.
By some arm of the government

Whose only purpose and intent
Is sadly all too evident.
Establishing a precedent.
By which they hope they can prevent

expression of our discontent.
They should not be too complacent.
Because they are incompetent
and grossly overconfident.

We’ll find a way to circumvent
their wish to be omnipotent.
We have to win this argument
and then provide due punishment.

For those found guilty of intent
to use this foul experiment.
Which demonstrates the full extent
of methods used by government.

The things they do clandestinely
Because they dare not openly.
admit to seeking thought control.
Because they know that heads would roll.

We have the right to privacy.
There is no way that they should be.
poking and prying in our mind
just to see if they can find.

another way they can repress
the freedoms that we should possess.
The dream I dreamt may yet come true
I can’t be sure no more can you.

A Dream Of France

All over France
There was a dream,
It started, like all dreams
From one man.

Then the dream spread
Like a virus,
Until everyone had the dream
And everyone knew the dream.

Soon, the man who first had the dream
Was pushed aside, was shot
By the ones who picked up the dream
To make money from it.

People who did not share the dream,
People who dared to have other dreams...
Well, they were just dirt,
And men and women were killed
And children were re-educated
To worship the dream.

And the dream became a nightmare
But the dream-holders
(Who had abused the dream
Who had added bits onto the dream
Concerning those who did not dream...)
They would not let the dream die.

So it would have ended that way
If somewhere, a new dream had not been dreamed,
Dreamt by one man
For the whole of France.

Maybe!

Maybe.

Perhaps our dreams are prophecies,
in which we see what is to be.
Though we don’t take them seriously
and disregard them completely.
It may be sad but it is true
There are a few a very few.
Who do believe and they achieve.

A great deal more than most can do.
Because they’re willing to pursue
their dream until they make it true.
This simple truth I share with you.
If you are willing to accept
the plans your sleeping mind projects
If you believe you can achieve.

Whatever goal you’re aiming for.
Things that you have not done before.
Dreamers can accomplish more
Because they’re willing to explore
the different possibilities.
Within their capabilities
They can achieve all they conceive.

I don’t expect you to agree
that every dream’s a prophecy.
But to consider carefully.
It’s possible that they might be.
You have free choice it’s up to you
to believe what you want to.
I’ve no intention to deceive.

I only want to share with you.
What I believe to be quite true.
You can do all you want to do.
That you can be successful too.
And make your dreams reality
instead of being fantasy.
All you need is to believe.

Dream images can change.

Dream images can change.

She had a picture in her mind.
Of the man she hoped to find.
Someone that she could look up to.

Such was her dream although she knew.
That girlish dreams rarely come true
But she still hoped that hers might do.

There was no way she could foresee.
She would be married happily
To a man who could not be.

More different in every way
From her dream man of yesterday
But Mother Nature likes to play.

The little tricks which she employs
To bring together girls and boys.
A favourite game which she enjoys.

When she decides the time is right
All youthful dreams are put to flight.
You see things in a different light.

One day you will meet someone new.
Some man you are attracted to
Destined to fall in love with you..

I have no doubt that he dreamt too
About a girl quite unlike you.
But you met as you were meant to.

And fell in love it’s nothing new.
Though youthful dreams do not come true.
They are replaced by dreams that do.

Mind Control.

Mind control
Pantoum form

She dreamt a dream within a dream.
A lucid dream she could control
She chose the pace she chose the theme
In order to achieve her goal.

A lucid dream she could control.
Every detail was designed,
to blend together seamlessly.
Such was the power of her mind.

To blend together seamlessly.
A demonstration of her skill.
She succeeded effortlessly.
She exercised her sovereign will.

A demonstration of her skill.
Which she had earned by studying
She exercised her sovereign will
By her control of everything.

She chose the pace she chose the theme
She dreamt a dream within a dream.

What Do You Dream About?

Have you ever met anybody who does not dream?
All of us have dreamt of something good or bad before
Some dreams are believed to foretell the future
While few dreams remind us of things we have forgotten
Other dreams are just hallucination and nightmare
What do you dream about?
Some people dream every night
While the others dream once a while
Do you dream straight or opposite?
To dream straight is to see a vision
To dream straight is to have a revelation
Is your dream good, bad or frightening?
Has your dream ever come true?
Do you day-dream or dream while you sleep?
What do you really dream about?
Politicians dream of winning elections
Students dream of passing exams
Soldiers dream of winning battles
Everybody dreams of promotion on the job
Fishermen dream of catching lots of fishes
Some men see their future wives in a vision
Few women see their future husbands in a dream
Almost everybody dreams of winning the lottery
What do you actually dream about?
Many see their enemies in a dream
Few see their true friends in a vision
Others found solutions to their problems in a dream
Can we live on earth without dreaming?
Your answer is as good as mine
Whatever you may dream about
I hope your good dreams come true

Incomprehensible for friend Chandra

Some say there’s only energy
vibrating differentially.
It’s all illusion that we see.
This idea really baffles me
This point of view is nothing new
the eastern mystics thought so too.
If it is true then it would seem
that everybody shares one dream.
Which seems to me illogical.
I find it rather comical
Hilarious in the extreme.
Some one or something has to dream.
Without a dreamer there could be
no dream; It follows logically.

Flagrant Exhibitionists for M'Lady Ernestine

Deep purple Iris’ rioting
Beside a gently flowing stream.
Neglected yet still flourishing.
Part of a long abandoned dream.
The Gardener grew old and died
before she made her dream come true
Her dream remains unsatisfied.
Yet still the purple Iris Grew.
Though dreamers die their dreams live on
until they are adopted by
By somebody else; Perhaps someone
who’s not prepared to let dreams die.
They flaunt their beauty shamelessly.
Purple clad Imperially.

Dreamscape reality for Friend Thad

Some think Sci Fi is fantasy
which could become reality.
For it has proved so in the past
technology develops fast.

The far fetched tales of yesterday
are merely common place today.
Maybe in the next century
then men will travel easily.

To places we imagine now
although I cannot forecast how.
But until then we settle for
the time to dream and dream some more

of worlds we think that we create.
Who knows what wonder still await
what other treasures we may find
When we choose to leave behind

the world we know and simply go
into a heightened mental state
In which we can appreciate
That things aren’t always as they seem.

So just relax my friends and dream.
No matter how improbable.
Or how silly it may seem
Believing makes it possible.

Imagine That

Dream...
Imagine...
Close your eyes...
Ooh...(yah)
Ooh...(next)
Ooh...(divine mill...2k3)
Ooh... (tweet)
Ooh... (r.l.)
Ooh... (and t-low)
Now I might not have
5 or 6 cars in my garage
But would you settle for a nice massage
And the love of a lifetime
Girl...
I swear to God that
With a whole lot of love
And little bit of faith
That we can make it
You just gotta believe that...
We could roll till the wheels fall off (and)
Imma love you till my souls gone on (cause)
It can happen, baby, just hold on
Close your eyes and dream (and imagine that)
Imagine that smile ever leavin your face
Comin home from work and never leavin the place
Got chocolates and champagne just for you to taste
(close your eyes)
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that
Imagine benzes in the parkin lot
A different chauffeur for every car you got
Islands to settle on a private yacht (just close your eyes)
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that
I know you deserve
More than I got right now
But baby, theres no doubt
cause youve always stayed down
I swear to God that
With a whole lot of love
And a little bit of faith
That we can make it
You just gotta believe that
We could roll till the wheels fall off (and)
Imma love you till my souls gone on (hey)
It can happen, baby, just hold on
Close your eyes and dream (and imagine that)
Imagine that smile ever leavin your face
Comin home from work and never leavin the place
Got chocolate and champagne just for you to taste
(close your eyes)
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that (and imagine that)
Imagine benzes in the parkin lot
A different chauffeur for every car you got
Islands to settle on a private yacht
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that (close your eyes and imagine that, girl)
{some day} just have my back and I promise that
{some way} Ill work hard and try to cop you that
{if we pray} and believe, you will see that
{itll be okay} you just gotta dream and believe
Imagine that
I can, can you, can we
We dream, ooh (dream with me)
You can have anything you need
A dream
But youve got to imagine that
Imagine that
I can, can you, can we
We dream, ooh
You can
If you close your eyes and imagine that
Imagine that smile ever leavin your face
Comin home from work and never leavin the place
Got chocolate and champagne just for you to taste
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that
Imagine benzes in the parkin lot (oh)

The Ballade Of The Automobile

When our yacht sails seaward on steady keel
And the wind is moist with breath of brine
And our laughter tells of our perfect weal,
We may carol the praises of ruby wine;
But if, automobiling, my woes combine
And fuel gives out in my road-machine
And it's sixteen miles to that home of mine--
Then ho! For a gallon of gasoline!

When our coach rides smoothly on iron-shod wheel
With a deft touch guiding each taut drawn line
And the inn ahead holds a royal meal,
We may carol the praises of ruby wine;
But when, on some long and steep incline,
In a manner entirely unforeseen
The motor stops with a last sad whine--
Then ho! For a gallon of gasoline!

When the air is crisp and the brooks congeal
And our sleigh glides on with a speed divine
While the gay bells echo with peal on peal,
We may carol the praises of ruby wine;
But when, with perverseness most condign,
In the same harsh snowstorm, cold and keen,
My auto stops at the six-mile sign--
Then ho! For a gallon of gasoline!

ENVOY

When yacht or Coach Club fellows dine
We may carol the praises of ruby wine;
But when Automobile Clubmen convene
Then ho! For a gallon of gasoline!

Validation for colin j

Sometimes I think we should not try
to make our cherished dreams come true
and be content with fantasy.
We must accept reality
Some cherished dreams are doomed to fail.
Because they are not meant to be.
That does not mean we should not dream
For dreams are a necessity
Though they’re not always as they seem
Dreams can protect our sanity
provide escape from every day
repetitive reality.
Dreams can become reality
Though only if they’re meant to be.

Prophecy for M lady Lucianne

The moon is blue to suit my mood. I’m missing you I knew I would.
My love for you is deep and true but there is little I can do.
I cannot make you want to stay. So I will send you on your way.
I’ll paste a smile upon my face and hope that it will stay in place
until you disappear from view. You have a dream you must pursue.
Whilst I must wait and hope and pray, you will return to me one day.
Perhaps in time you’ll come to know there was no need for you to go.
When you have slaked your wanderlust and found nobody you can trust.
Maybe your thoughts will turn to me; I’ll still be waiting patiently.
I am quite certain you will come back to where you’re always welcome.
By then my love you’re sure to know. I loved enough to let you go.
What had the world to offer you? No one could love you like I do
Now you are home you will remain I will not let you go again.
You had your dream and I had mine. Your dream is dead you must share mine.
Together we’ll find happiness I know we will it’s not a guess.

Dream Dream Dream

Dream dream dream
And dream untill dream come true
Life is nothing but dreams
Some accomplished, some unfinished
Some dreams are trifle, some cherished

You are nothing but a result of dreams
Dreams, dreams and nothing but dreams
A dream of someone
Or a dream of your own

Dream is not what you dream while asleep
Dream is what that don't let you sleep
You live for dream
And you die for dream
Your unattained desires are dreams
What you all desire are dreams

You can't accomplished unless you dream
What you accomplished was a dream
The law of attraction and power of passion
All say dream, dream and dream

Motor Of Love

I Can't Get Over Your Love
No Matter How Hard Life Seems,
There's A Light In My Dreams
Thanks To You.
My Friends Keep Asking Me Why
There's Such A Smile On My Face,
There's A Home At My Place,
Thanks To You.
I Don't Want Anything From You,
Turn On Your Motor Of Love.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.
I Can't Get Over Your Love
No Matter How Lost I Feel,
I Know My Love Is Real,
Thanks To You.
You Simply Reached Out Your Hand
And Touched Me Deep In My Soul,
I Came In Out Of The Cold,
Thanks To You.
I Won't Steal Anything From You,
You Give Me More Than Enough.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.
There Was A Time
When I Was Down And Counted Out,
Well I Remember I Felt So Bad
I Nearly Threw Away,
Nearly Threw Away The Keys.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.
