From the sea came a boat with some Israeli commando soldiers who took me by the commando boat to the yacht and put me on the yacht. In the yacht I asked people, who are you. And they said we are Israelis, French and British.

The Irene C.
Our motor yacht the Irene C.
No finer vessel puts to sea
She’s seventy feet from stem to stern
the motor yacht for which we yearn
Equipped with sails and engines two
You’d be amazed what speed she’ll do,
Her top speeds more than twenty knots
Much faster than the other yachts
With two state rooms she is equipped.
Sheer luxury the captain quipped.
Two smaller cabins for the crew
With far less space they must make do.
.
Our dream boat does not as yet exist
It’s purely imaginary.
It will one day we both insist.
When we have won the lottery
Without a dream what have you got,
there’s nothing to look forward to.
We share our dream about a yacht
dreams are much better dreamt by two.

Yacht Dance
(andy partridge)
We, we will dance like tiny boats with cotton sails upon the tops of the seas,
That would pull us down to the depths and crush us flat if given half a chance.
No need to look back to pictures of lost, when all was rust.
We, we will skim across the surface of the mud as if were spinning pebbles
Oh, in our yacht dance
Oh, in our yacht dance
We, we will dance like tiny boats with cotton sails upon the tops of the seas,
Made of people stained with scorn who never see the light of real love.
No need to look back through diaries of lost now turned to dust.
We, we will skate across the surface of the storm as if were wheeling sea-birds.
Oh, in our yacht dance
Oh, in our yacht dance
And how theyll be jealous of both of us!
In our yacht dance.

Commando Girls
This next song is
Is dedicated to those american fighting girls!
Thats right
Those american fighting girls
Who arent afraid to take the law into their own hands.
To die if necessary!
To keep our cities safe from criminal scum.
The oingo boingo proudly salutes the american commando girls
Commando girls
Commando girls
Commando girls wont you come out tonight?
Commando girls wont you come out and fight?
Commando girls youll never never catch them crying!
By daytime theyre receptionists
Accountant girls so clean
Late at night they hit the streets
Soldiers with a dream.
When they go out they arm themselves
With kakis and fatigues
Theyre tough as nails and armed to the teeth
With automatic m-16s
Iconoclastic girls that know the plan
To finnish the job like no one else can
To fight so the citys safe for you and me
Oh!
Commando girls wont you come out tonight?
Commando girls wont you come out and fight?
Commando girls youll never never catch them crying!
They prowl the streets in disciplined packs
Looking for acts of violence
Sweet little poison pussycats
They travel smooth and silent
And when they spot their guilty prey
They waste no time on busts
They stand their ground and open fire
Unload their might of justice
Oh!
Take no prisoners and leave no clues
Read all about it in the morning news
Nobody out there knows what really happened!
Oh!
Command girls wont you come out tonight?
Commando girls wont you come out and fight?
Commando girls youll never never catch them crying!
[guitar solo]
When my little girl comes home at night
Exhausted from her fighting
When she unzips her camouflage tights
She always looks so inviting!
Slippery skin all covered with sweat
Shivering in the moonlight.
Smell the gunpowder and sweet hot breath
Were gonna have fun tonight!
Oh!
Under the covers its hard to know
She risked her life just minutes ago
A stiff salute to their courage and their passion!
Commando girls...
[repeat this verse 3x]
Giddy up giddy up get em all right
Round em up round em up round em up tight
Ready now ready now ready for the fight
Shoot em up shoot em up shoot em in the night
Commando girls wont you come out tonight?
Commando girls wont you come out and fight?
Commando girls youll never never catch them crying!
Never catch them crying!
Never catch them crying!
Commando girls...
Commando girls...
Commando girls...
Commando girls...
Commando girls...

A White Yacht I See
a white yacht i see
on a very blue ocean
far away
at the port
a shadow of a girl with a long black hair
against a very strong sunlight
waves at me
still
i figure out as i wait on the top of this mountain
where the air is fainting
she must be the one
destined to die
because no one helped her
because
i have no way of becoming
this wooden boat
to sail and save her
from him

Hannie's 70th Birthday
His spirit hovered overhead,
He cast his eyes below,
On the Sunborn Yacht Hotel,
Where Family and Friends today did go.
For Aaron Silas wished to see,
That all assembled would enjoy,
The Party for Hannie's 70th Birthday,
Given for her, by their Boys.
On the Nineteenth of August 2007,
It was Hannie Silas's 70th Birthday,
And Friends and Family did gather there,
To help her celebrate her Day.
To remember all the Good Years,
And those that were so sad,
Which as a loving Family,
Of the Memories, we were all glad.
It was a different venue,
For a Party to be held,
On a Yacht Hotel moored on the Thames,
And the Conviviality excelled.
Hannie was born in Calcutta,
On a Boat to England, with Aaron, she sailed,
Alas, Aaron is no longer at her side,
But his Memory by all, was hailed.

Marina Sunday
Sunday at the Marina
Water in the marina, clear as diesel
fish swimming close to surface
in peace of seagulls,
which know they stink of human
waste.
This is not the fish that
will feed the five thousand.
A child strews bread crumbs into the water,
ignored by the fishes.
Seagulls' shrieks and fall from the sky.
A man drops a glass of gin & tonic, on
the deck of yacht,
claws at his chest.
Ambulance and a nervous doctor
tells him not to smoke cigars
too late.
Young widow,
I hope she sells the bloody yacht.

General Christiaan De Wet At Doornberg
(after David Naude)
In the dust lay de Wet's son;
he prayed to God, further did not say a word,
traitors came under a white flag,
spied for the British before the battle;
it was very sad to see
while a brave man served his country.
On his hands was his own son's blood
but he still gave courage to his men
causing the British and traitors to loose,
driving them back over the Zant River
winning more fame in the world's eyes
while a brave man served his country.
The British had fled past Winburg
to avoid general de Wet's commando,
some of the traitors were very scared
when the Boer commando captured them;
in de Wet's eyes God was still providing,
while a brave man served his country.

Gideon Scheepers
There’s a Boer commandant
that proofs himself at Magersfontein
and help to beat the British there
and at Paardeberg on horseback,
rides right through them
and they cannot touch him.
When his commando
enters the Cape Colony
rail tracts are blown away
and British trains stand and wait
and there are many Cape Boers
that joins him
to fight against
the overwhelming British might.
The British give guns
to the black population
and send them to farmsteads
to murder women and children
and to rape
and to Gideon Scheepers it’s more than enough
and it hits him like a hammer blow
and every black man
that his commando catches carrying a firearm
is hanged.
Then it happens
that the British find Gideon Scheepers
lying ill in the field
and they execute him
and somewhere in the field
he is pushed into an unmarked grave
and even today
nobody knows where
Gideon Scheepers lies.

My Own Sea Of Blues...
there is no salt
in your sea of
blue, i guess,
it is all bitterness
in there
but wait
there is a blueness in
the sea
that makes this world
a waving
experience, foamy white
sea caps,
white sea gulls hovering
for a school
of fish
a yacht with lovers
sharing
lives,
a fishing boat loaded with
a big catch
children swimming
along the coast
sunbathing babes
multicolored beach
umbrellas
surfing boards
sunglasses
on my own interpretation
of the sea
of blues....

He who cannot even manage a yacht asks for a ship of burthen!
He who cannot even manage a yacht asks for a ship of burthen.
Given the Oars to Row
Most who have been there will admit...
Fortunes aren't first recognized.
We are too busy looking for the gleam and glitter!
To impress before an acceptance is made.
These are confessions from those experienced.
Those who have paved,
Their own way.
And...
Have learned from many lessons.
Some await for titles to be sought.
To dropp jaws and bug eyes.
With a round of expressed applause.
Expected.
And those unafraid to claw themselves through tunnels,
Usually find daylight quicker...
Than someone seeking to protect manicured nails.
Or spend time shopping,
For the right survival outfit.
And the ones who sit wishing,
For their ship to sail in.
May lose their opportunity altogether.
Since they mistake someone rowing a boat,
As insignificant.
And the rower of the boat,
Rows away.
Knowing who has the authority,
To evict everyone from their lofty dreams!
Having been given the oars to row...
In any direction desired.
And...
A choice to be selective.
Those decisions to make,
Escapes away,
Eventually...
From the vision of most folks!
'Henry?
Is there any caviar left?
The order I placed for ham sandwiches,
Seems to be a bit late! '
~We are out of all supplies.
The owner of this island should be arriving soon.
He's rowing a boat.
He also comes to invite us to aboard his yacht,
For cocktails later.
He should be arriving soon.
With the provisions.
If you see him,
Overlook his appearance.
They can be quite deceiving,
You know? ~

Hey
And I said Hey
When I'm making my movie, baby
You keep saying all my...
You keep breaking all my...
Said hey
You like boots and perfume
Said hey
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
Said hey
You want that fine
white wine
on my dime
What you want from me?
'Cause you're on my mind
Don't you get no more
'Cause you're losing yourself
Don't you want some truth?
'Cause I'll give you mine
Hey, when I'm making my movie, baby
You keep saying all my lines
And I said hey, after sunset drive cruising, baby
You're just yesterdays prize
Said hey, do do do do do
You want trips on a white yacht for two
Said hey,
Beverly heights
Bright lights
Late nights
What you want from me?
'Cause you're on my mind
Don't you get no more
'Cause you're losing yourself
Don't you want some truth?
'Cause I'll give you mine
Hey, when I'm making my movie, baby
You keep saying all my lines
And I said hey, after sunset drive cruising, baby
You're just yesterdays prize
You're just yesterdays prize
Hey, Hey
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You want trips on a white yacht for two
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You like boots and expensive perfume
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You want trips on a white yacht for two
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You like boots and expensive perfume
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You want trips on a white yacht for two
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You like boots and expensive perfume
(You want trips on a white yacht for two)
I said Hey, when I'm making my movie, baby
You keep saying all my lines
And I said hey, after sunset drive cruising, baby
You're just yesterdays prize
(Your red pumps and your cadillac blues
You like boots and expensive perfume
Your red pumps and your cadillac blues

Your red pumps and your cadillac blues

Driving in my car, smoking my cigar,
The only time i'm happy's when i play my guitar.
Sailing in my yacht, what a lot i got,
Happiness is something that just cannot be bought.
I've been in and i'm out, i've been up and down,
I don't want to go until i've been all around.
What's it all about, anyone in doubt,
I don't want to go until i've found it all out.
