Imagination plays me most intolerable tricks.
To enumerate them all would be unbearably prolix.

Beware: The Dog
Beware the dog because he's lurking the streets.
Do not let him get between your sheets.
He will do his business, and leave his seed behind.
He will leave you losing your mind.
Thoughts of how cute and sweet he was that night,
Will leave you thinking what you did was right.
He will make you feel as if you were the only one.
When in reality he was headed to the next when ya'll were done.
He's a stray, he belongs to no one.
He's dirty and trashy and sleeps where ever.
A house dog, never.
A street dog, forever.
His eyes will lie; tell you that you have his heart,
But truth is you don't even have a part.
You can take him in and clean him up,
But before you know it he's back rolling in the dirt.
Old dog, new tricks they don't mix.

A dog is a dog no matter what the breed.
They're only after what they want and not what they need.

Almost Competent
Too old to learn, I don't think so
Old dogs can learn to do new tricks
Although the process may be slow.

If I Were Magic
If I were magic, do you know what I would do
I would change the world and make it new
I would place it into my bag of tricks
And everything that's broken I would fix
I'd whisk it way off into outer space
Then bring it back with a brand new face
I would remake every face and change every head
Then make them become someone else instead
I would go inside every broken heart
Then give it hope and fresh new start
For all the hungry people, I would help to feed
I would give poor people all that they would need
My magic bag of tricks would take all sickness away

There would be happy with the joy that human life can bring
Abuse of little children would come to an end
There would be peace and harmony among all men
My best trick of all would be to eradicate all the dope
To give our youth a dream and restore lost hope

I would educate the children completely without cost
My act of generosity would maybe save a kid who's lost
Now that I've got you all into my little bag of tricks
I've tied you up together and given you a chance to mix
Being close together made you think and touch and feel
I hope you realize this is no trick, these situations are for real
My closing act of magic is to let you all go free
Living together in peace is as easy as can be

Treat Your Woman Right
It saddens me to see
how some men treat their woman so unfair
they neglect them completely
as if they didn't care
while she's waiting at home
they're out having an affair
believing all his lies
she is totally unaware
Some men expect their woman
to do everything they say
if something is not done right
their temper flares up right away
some think they have the right to dominate
a woman is not your slave
she's your partner, your lover, your mate
She will make mistakes ofcourse
she's only human you know
no need to yell, hit or curse
patience and understanding

Magic is a word
that conjures up things in our mind,
all sorts of magician tricks.
Magic is much more than that,
more that being deceived,
just look around you
and see all the magic there is around you
for everyone to enjoy and see.
The waking of a flower
as the dawn creeps across the sky.
The first sound of a new born babe
as it gives out its first cry.
