Aspiration
Aspiration.
Aah divvent like the winter neets
because wor netty’s doon the yard
It’s caad and damp and has ne leets
and varry often frozen hard.
Aah’d rather use the chamber pot
that hides beneath the double bed.
Aah sometimes wish that aah had got
a warm dry inside loo instead.
Me sister hes a bungalow
that has a bathroom and a loo.
Noo she is rather posh you know
and looks doon on the likes of me.
She married weel, hor man was rich
an left hor weel provided for
Hor life hes gone without a hitch
She had ne bairns but I hed four.
But varry soon aah’ll qualify
and get an aad folks bungalow.
A modern hoose that’s warm and dry
The aah’ll be good as her you know.
The airs and graces she displays
impress hor neighbours but not me.
Cos aah recall wor childhood days
which she forgets conveniently.
Me sister is a proper snob
but she’s the only one aah’ve got.
Aah only wish she haad her gob
not taak a lot o tommy rot..

With eagerness she could not hide
My Fred has a cardiac heart.
That’s bad enuff just for a start.
He has a gastric stomach too.
He’s hard to live with I tell you.
Aah dee me best as ye well knaa,

Supping beer he shouldn’t have

Ye knaa hinny but for us

Theres neither of them fit te work
Aah wonder sometimes if the shirk

We have nee time to be poorly.
They said Tara and went their way.
They’d had their gossip for the day.
There’s hoosework waiting to be dyun

His lordship likes to lie in bed
He’s like a bear with a sore head.
If Aah distorb him early on
before the noonday buzzers gone.
He gets up shouting for his grub.
His breakfast forst then doon the pub.
It hurts to see him suffer so

Aah’ll be a widow woman then
Aah divvent think aah’ll wed again.
AAh’ll get mesel a bungalow

Aah have a black dress put away

Bungalow
Bungalow
Bungalow
By the sea
Bungalow
In the sea air
Climbing rose
Time to spare
Luxury accommodation traps the sun
So were working every hour that God made
So we can fly away
Saving it all up for you
Bungalow
Bungalow
Silver shore line
In the gorse
You can be mine
Standing prime position for the town
Working for this vision through our lives
So we can fly away
Saving it all up for you
Bungalow

You wait and see

The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
He went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun
In case of accidents he always took his mom
He's the all american bullet-headed saxon mother's son.
All the children sing
Hey bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies
Bill and his elephants were taken by surprise
So captain marvel zapped in right between the eyes
All the children sing
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
The children asked him if to kill was not a sin
Not when he looked so fierce, his mother butted in
If looks could kill it would have been us instead of him
All the children sing
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?

My sister dry your eyes
My sister don't end your life
My sister your not his wife
My sister he's cold as a snake
My sister he's just a fake
My sister everything will be better when you wake
My sister Ive seen the pills you take
My sister he's full of lies

The Hairst O' Rettie
I hae seen the hairst o' Rettie, lads,
And twa-three aff the throne.
I've heard o sax and seven weeks
The hairsters girn and groan.
But wi' a covie Willie Rae
A monthie an' a day
Sends a' the jolly hairsters
Singin' blithely doon the brae.
In a monthie an' a day, my lads,
The like was never seen;
It beats to sticks the fastest strips
O' Vickers' best machine.
The Speedwell she taks up the rear,
The Victory clears the way;
And twenty acres daily yields,
Laid doon tae Willie Rae.
He drives them roond and roond the field
At sic an awfu' rate:
Yet guides them gently oot and in
At mony's a kittle gate.
And wiles them gently ow'r the steens
And mony a hidden hole,
And he'll come by nae mishanter
If ye leave him wi' a pole.
O he sharps their teeth tae gar them bite;
He taps them on the jaws,
And if he sees them dowie-like,
He'll brawly ken the cause:
A boltie here, or a pinnie there,
Tae keep them aye in tune;
He'll quickly stop their wild career,
And bring the clishack doon.
O he whittles aff the corners,
And makes crookit bitties straucht,
He likes to see that man and beast
Are equal in a draucht,
An' a' the corners neat an' square
And nae a shafe agley;
And he'll coont wi' ony dominie
Frae the Deveron tae the Spey.
Noo he's nae made up wi' mony words
Or kent tae puff and lee,
But just as keen a little chap
As ony you will see.
And if you're in search o hairvest work
Upon a market day,
Take my advice, be there in time
And look for Willie Rae.
Noo he hae got it in aboot,
An' a wer things be ticht,
We'll gaither roond the festal board
Tae spend a joyfae nicht;
Wi' Scottish sangs and mutton broth
Tae charm our cares away;
We'll drink success tae Rettie,
And my bandster Annie Maclean.
Noo afore I end my hamely screed,
I canna weel forget
The gentle dames that guards the hoose
And keeps the folk in maet.
Lang may they bile the kail
And stir the porridge weel.
An may never need or want for nail
Tae keep the timmer hale.
Noo here's tae a' ye Rettie blades,
A ringin' cheer - Hurra!
A better lot o' workin' chaps
A gaffer never saw.
They're aye sae willin' for tae pairt,
And eager for the fray
It was them that made the boatie row,
That was steer'd by Willie Rae.

A Sisters
A sister is someone who leads you when you are having a problem.
A sister makes you laugh and cry.
A sister is someone who likes to fight with you.
A sister is the one who stands with you in all your ups and downs.
A sister makes you remember who you really are.
A sister sometimes makes you cry when they are very sad.
A sister is someone who is always there for you through all the laughter and tears.
A sister is real.
A sister never will pretend.
A sister is someone like you whom I treasure everyday in my heart.

Sister Sister
Sister Sister
My sister is funny
she likes to eat money
I can't wait till she goes to school
she might have a lot of work to do
I will have to teach her how to spell
I never want to be in hell
My Sister is a tease
She is always making me freeze
She is so great
I do believe in fate
I am only seven
But I know all about heaven
My sister is almost two
I will have to teach her to tie her shoes
My sister I love to death
She is sometimes a mess
My sister i will never forget
She needs to learn not to hit
SISTER SISTER
I love you so
Thank you for being my sister
I will miss you so

Cut & Paste
you surf tonight
you see a bungalow beside a lake
abandoned
you do not like what is happening there
the birds are mute
and the ants cannot climb the
star apple tree
so to change at least some things
you cut
the bungalow and place it beside
a rail way where a train moves
to another new destination
you want motion and
a song
you cut some notes from a music website
and put them
inside the throat of the mute bird
and so it begins
to sing
for all the lonely ants in there
and they too, begin to dance and build
their little kingdom
the bungalow appears like a some pieces
of assembled wood
dead
you paste some smoke from a busy chimney
you put some live fishes on the lake
and you look at what you have done
you smile
you are putting life to everything
and finally
you copy a picture of yourself, you cut
and then
paste it there

My Sister my sister
My sister holds me tight
My sister kisses me goodnight
My sister knows when I’m mad
My sister helps me when I’m sad
My sister is so smart
My sister has my heart
My sister loves me lots
My sister ties the knots
My sister is here to stay
My sister I have until this very day
My sister I wish you well
My sister yes I can tell
My sister asked if I lied
My sister knows if I’ve cried
My sister has moved away
My sister is in my heart to and will always stay

Airlin's Fine Braes
O I've walked o'er yon countries baith early and late
Among Airlin's braw lasses I've had mony a lang seat.
Comin' hame in the mornins, fin I should have been at ease
Fin I wis a plooboy on Airlin's fine braes.
O the first thing I did, fin I gaed hame tae yon toon
Wis to corn my horses, and rub them weel doon.
Then aff tae the bothy and tak aff my claes,
And pull on the rovers o' Airlin's fine braes.
Noo the haill lang days I gaed at the yoke
My mind it was turnin' ow'r some mysterious joke.
Knockin' doon people's haystacks, fin I should have been at ease
Fin I wis a plooboy on Airlin's fine braes.
O it's mony's the nicht I've sat by yon fire,
Sometimes in the barn, sometimes in the byre.
Sittin' the haill nicht lang, fin I should have been at ease
Fin I wis a plooboy on Airlin's fine braes.
And when by their windows I softly did kneel
And when they did hear me, they sprung to their heel.
Comin' doon the stairs half naked, nae pittin on their claes
Sayin', here's wer braw plooboy o' Airlin's fine braes.
Now come a' ye single fellows, take a warnin from me
Keep clear o' those women faure'er they may be,
For they will entice you by puttin' on braw claes
And send you a rover in Airlin's fine braes.

Several Species Of Small Furry Animals...
Aye an a bit of mackeral settler rack and ruin
Ran it doon by the haim, ma place
Well I slapped me and I slapped it doon in the side
And I cried, cried, cried.
The fear a fallen down taken never back the raize and then craig marion,
Get out wi ye claymore out mi pocket a ran doon, doon the middin stain
Picking the fiery horde that was fallen around ma feet.
Never he cried, never shall it ye get me alive
Ye rotten hound of the burnie crew. well I snatched fer the blade o my
Claymore cut and thrust and I fell doon before him round his feet.
Aye! a roar he cried frae the bottom of his heart that I would nay fall
But as dead, dead as a can be by his feet; de ya ken?
...and the wind cried back.
[in english] thank you.

Sisters's Wedding Poem From Your Little Sister
My Sister Has Always Been In My Life
Right From The Start
Now She’s About To Become Darren’s Wife
Because She Loves Him From The Bottom Of Her Heart
Having A Sister Is The Best Thing In The Ever
We Can Never Be Broken Apart, No Never
Having A Sister Is Not Just A Trend
Because I Know She Is My Bestest Freind
Sometimes We May Get Mad
Or Begin To Fight
But That’s The Fun Part About Having A Sister
We Both Think That We’re Always Right
Now You Are Getting Married Zo
You’re Life Will Soon Be Complete
But I Will Still Come To You
Whenever I Feel Defeat
But Here’s My Chance
To Thank You For All You’ve Done
Because In My Book
You’ll Always Be Number One
To Me You Are An Angel In Disguise
You Are Happy, Intelligent And Wise
If I Had One Wish It Would Surely Be
To Give As Much To You As You’ve Given To Me
Thank You Zo, My Sister, My Freind
My Thanks To You Has No End
Through Our Ups And Downs
This Much Is True:
You’re A Sister, My Sister
And I Will Always Love You!

Sister, Sister
Sister, sister where are you?
Since you left I've been so blue.
Are you someplace, someplace near?
Are you someplace better than here?
Here is where things move along
sometimes right and sometimes wrong.
Makes me happy you don't see
so mush woe and misery.
Sister, sister where are you?
What I envision, what I view
are fields of flowers and butterflies
surrounding you before my eyes.
Here my eyes must look upon
everything that's going on.
Some of it so hard to bear
and as I age it seems unfair.
Sister, sister where are you?
In my dreams and waking too,
my family is my life for now
and I think you know all this somehow.

A Hut Leaned Against a House
A hut leaned against a house
counting its days
winter after winter.
One winter
snow shattered its roof;
another winter
rain felled it.
Someone bought the house
and
raised a bungalow instead.
One upon a time
a hut was there;
now
it is sod.

my little sister's GONE: (
She was five when her sister left
And with her gone she felt like she experienced death
She was too young to even know what that meant
Apart for seven months is what they spent
Her older sister was her best friend
She always looked up to her
Her smile she would always lend
She witnessed drugs
Barely given a hug
Barely shown any love
And just when she lost hope
Her sister would always show up
At the most needed time
Her sister never knew it
But she always completed her inside
And then her sister would go away again
And the same thing would happen
Then suddenly her sister stopped coming around
For a better life is what she thought she had found
A better life that didn’t include her
But she never knew that every day
Her sister thought about her
She always wondered where her sister went
And why she always left without their lives together spent
One day she gotten taken away
To a family friend
And for a while she would stay
But she was still mistreated
Barely eaten
Always hit
But she never told her sister this shyt
When her sister would call
She’d say I’m okay
Cause her sisters on speaker phone
What more could she really say
Her sister always promised that she would visit
And every day she waited
Hoping she’d keep it
But then she realized she was stuck
But knew that her sister still had love
It was just hard for her to see her face
And she felt like in this world she had no place
One day her sister came for her
She went to church and looked for her
She asked where is my little sister
And they all replied GONE
That’s when I soon discovered what exactly had been done
I always promised my sister Shilah that I would come and see her
And she waited until she finally gave up
And now she’s gone and I know it’s my fault
If I had only come sooner
She would still be here
She would still know that I cared
She waited for me to keep my promise
And I did but it was too late
and now i feel dis-honest

My sister My sister
My sister my sister,
Is not the best.
My sister my sister,
Oh give it a rest.
My sister my sister,
Stop with the drama.
My sister my sister,
Dumb as a llama.
My sister my sister,
I'm not supposed to see.
My sister my sister,
Dumb as can be.

Warmer Than Winter, Colder Than Summer
In summer, when the wishes of us grow up like a steeple,
When we feel the warm weather, and see happy people
All the sadness and all the bad things will gone
No one feels hard, the life of cruel people is done.
Wishes, dreams, our childhood laughs…oh look, here is sweet home!
Wow! Home, sweet home! For the vacation of this summer let's go to Rome!
For our life we wrote lots of plans
And if we couldn't make them, our life will be so tight, as the soda cans!
In winter we rather to stay at home, near our dreams and our dear pen,
We drink warm coffee with our dear parents, now and then
Winter has lot's of stories to say,
Stories about the old steam of past and lovely frozen bay
All is about us, we can have our winter warmer than summer and we can have a summer that is colder than winter,
But the thing that is always warm and charmer in these two seasons, is the sun that comes from Easter!
