Some Thoughts To Ponder: Iv
one after the other
we wade through
puddles of emotions
only to come back
where we started
*****************
round and round we go
like a dog chasing its own tail
in search of happiness
we are so engorssed
in the search that when
happiness descends
we are in no position to
acknowledge it
leave alone absorbing it

Grace the world with your glow of happiness
Do not chase happiness
Search within you
There are lot many things
Inside you
Which have reasons
To make you happy
You pursuit or search for happiness outside
Does not take you anywhere
As what seemingly has a stock of happiness
Once you reach or achieve it
You realize that happiness
Lies further ahead somewhere
And you hunt for happiness
Takes a new turn
And this goes on and on
Only to make you understand
That you are back in square one
Devoid of happiness, your original search
Happiness, thus, cannot be anywhere else
But within you
Do not be on a stealthy stalk for happiness
Simply because others do so
Search within and discover
The happiness in you
Do not be on a race for happiness
But grace the world
With the glow of
Happiness within you

A Cat's Tale
This is a story....which i know and many of u might be knowing it...in my words..just in case...if u missed it! ! !
Once there lived a lazy cat.
Too clumsy to chase a rat
Lying on roof, he used to pray
'God bring me my desired prey
Send me happiness in leaps and bounds
I hate to take these midnight rounds
Like a king I wish to live
This one wish u have to give”.
God then sent an urgent mail
“Ur happiness lies in your tail! ”
The cat sprung, and turned around
Stretched and went round and round
All its efforts went in vain,
The cat dropped down meowing in pain
A fruitless effort the cat put on.
Morning, noon then night came upon
That is when the cat realized
Hunger had left it almost paralyzed
He had to eat, he made a move
Walked away in search of food
Then he turned back to see
“Why is the tail following me? ”
The stupid cat understood now
Laziness has nothing to give
Work hard if u have to live
On your duty if you go
Happiness will surely follow.

Do It Again
Standing in the middle of nowhere,
Wondering how to begin.
Lost between tomorrow and yesterday,
Between now and then.
And now were back where we started,
Here we go round again.
Day after day I get up and I say
I better do it again.
Where are all the people going?
Round and round till we reach the end.
One day leading to another,
Get up, go out, do it again.
Then its back where you started,
Here we go round again.
Back where you started,
Come on do it again.
And you think today is going to be better,
Change the world and do it again.
Give it all up and start all over,
You say you will but you dont know when.
Then its back where you started,
Here we go round again.
Day after day I get up and I say
Come on do it again.
The days go by and you wish you were a different guy,
Different friends and a new set of clothes.
You make alterations and affect a new pose,
A new house, a new car, a new job, a new nose.
But its superficial and its only skin deep,
Because the voices in your head keep shouting in your sleep.
Get back, get back.
Back where you started, here we go round again,
Back where you started, come on do it again.
Back where you started, here we go round again,
Day after day I get up and I say, do it again.
Do it again.
Day after day I get up and I say, come on do it again.

Happiness?
There are not many things we crave,
Right from the cradle,
To the grave,
In search of truth from lies,
From lies to the truth,
We search for one thing we’re looking for
Some have it all,
But some have it less,
What we all need is happiness,
It’s not easy to be found,
It’s not easily to define it
Happiness just can’t be bought,
It’s more precious than any gold,
Because happiness just can’t be taught,
No matter how hard we try,
With every up – must be a down,
Just enjoy happiness through the years,
Right down to the tears and joy of happiness

Secret Of Happiness
Happiness is a gift that is rare
That needs lots of love and care
For it has to be searched around
In life's painful merry go round
For happiness is like a bright rainbow
That spread its color in life's row
And makes it shine very bright
And emits from it pleasure's light
So find out secret of happiness
And search for this precious dress
For one size just fits all
And saves everyone from a fall.

Maze of Happiness
Happiness
Can only be found
If you search for it
Like a vicious blood hound
Happiness
Is just like love
Just to get it
You will push and shove
Happiness
Is just a door
You open it up
And you just want more
Happiness
Grows like trees
It gets really big
But dies in a breeze
Happiness
Is what I could never find
So I went to the dark
To sit and hide

On A Carousel
The Hollies
On A Carousel
(Allan Clarke, Tony Hicks & Graham Nash)
Single release 1967
Riding along on a carousel,
tryin' to catch up to you
Riding along on a carousel,
will I catch up to you?
Horses chasing
'cause they're racing
So they ain't so far
On a carousel
On a carousel
Nearer and nearer by changing horses,
still so far away
People fighting for their places
just get in my way
Soon you'll leave and then I'll lose you,
still we're going round
On a carousel,
On a carousel
Round and round and round and round and
round and round and round and round with you
Up, down, up, down, up, down, too
As she leaves, she drops the presents
that she won before
Pulling ducks out of the water,
got the highest score
Now's my chance and I must take it,
a case of do-or-die
On a carousel
On a carousel
Round and round and round and round and
round and round and round and round with you
Up, down, up, down, up, down, too
Riding along on a carousel,
trying to catch up to you
Riding along on a carousel,
will I catch up to you?
Now we take our ride together
No more chasing her
On a carousel
On a carousel
On a carousel
{fade out}
On a carousel
On a carousel...

In search of happiness
I walked a long distance
In search of happiness,
On the way there lay many turns,
Full of desires and temptations,
All of them were inviting and seducing,
But I ignored them all to cotinue my search,
When I approached quite near,
I realized it was nothing but a mirage
And somebody in me murmured,
Go and serve your old parents
And make a crying child smile
For happiness lies in serving humanity.

What Happiness Is
happiness
is bliss
happiness,
is when you get a new puppy
happiness,
is when you get married
happiness,
is when you go on you first date
happiness,
is making your own decisions
happiness,
is graduating
happiness,
is getting you first job
happiness,
is falling in love
happiness
is being proud of who you are
happiness
is bliss
happiness,
is glowing
happiness,
is fun
happiness,
is an amazing feeling
happiness,
is when you smile all day
happiness,
is giving someone a hug just because you can
happiness,
is that light in your eyes
happiness,
is what makes the world go around
happiness,
is bliss
Fugitive Happiness
Whatever place you live in
Be it Irving Springs or Dallas
Live in happiness.
You left your sweet home
And your beloved mom
In search of happiness.
But I know you still are roaming
For the desired happiness
War has made the happiness a fugitive
You will never meet her again.

One Good Love
(duet with waylon jennings) written by: neil diamond and gary nicholson
It took a while for me to know
What I was looking for
And every heart Ive ever known
Has left me wanting more
One good love
Can turn it all around
Take hold of a restless heart
Lead it back to solid ground
You can search the world for happiness
And never get enough
When all you really need to find
Is one good love
I followed all of lifes pleasures
Wherever they will be
But someone I can treasure
Is all I really need
One good love
Can turn it all around
Take hold of a restless heart
And lead it back to solid ground
One good love
Can take you to the light
With just one touch you can forget
A thousand empty nights
You can search the world for happiness
And never get enough
And all you really need to find
Is one good love
You can search the world for happiness
And never get enough
And all you really need to find
Is one good love
One good love

Weve been through this so many a-times
(you know why)
Its never clear its pantomime
Goin round and round
(round and round)
cause you cant get on your feet
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Still takin all the heat
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Never lettin down
Im not the one
Whose memory you still keepin
Im not the one
Whos talkin in your sleep
(you know why)
I dont have to tell you twice
(you know why)
Knew you when you werent so nice
Goin round and round
(round and round)
cause you cant get on your feet
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Still takin all the heat
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Never touchin down
Im not the one
That youll be breakin in
And Im not the one
That youll be takin in
(you know why)
Tried and tried to crack the shell
(you know why)
When you fake its hard to tell
Goin round and round
(round and round)
cause you cant get on your feet
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Still takin all the heat
Goin round and round
(round and round)
cause you cant get on your feet
Goin round and round
(round and round)
Still takin all the heat
Goin round and round
(round and round)
(round and round)
Goin round and round
(round and round)
(round and round and round and round)
Goin round and round
(round and round)
(cause you cant get on your feet)
Goin (round and round)
(still takin all the heat)
(round and round)
(cause you cant get on your feet)
(round and round)
(still takin all the heat)

Ode To happiness
an ode to happiness
happiness is one of the many emotions
maybe the greatest off all
it can make you feel all jumpy inside
a first kiss, first love
its all to do with happiness.
but yet happiness never gets thanked
for every thing it has done for us
so im saying thank you for bringing me steven, amy, fayeness, india and everyone else
that means something to me
thank you happiness

I Search The Sky For The First Morning Light
I SEARCH THE SKY FOR THE FIRST MORNING LIGHT
I search the sky for the first morning light -
The wind sends Happiness through me
Walking slow after walking fast
I think of how many New Years’ I have lived in my life
And how almost all lost to memory?
I walk on in quiet
Life ‘s Happiness is great but its Sadness even greater-

Spinning :)
Round and round
Spinning to the ground
This sound of joy and happiness
The noises of enjoyment
The dance that takes place
Flying colours
Twirling shapes
Childish laughter
Round and round
The world keeps spinning
Despite all the anger
It’s spinning through darkness
Shedding light in all directions
This dance is fun
This dance will be won
Spinning, falling, laughing
I hunger for more of this
This colour, this happiness
This constant excitement
Spinning to the ground
The things that you see
Things that you hear
Leaving little space for fear
Jump up! Fall down!
Don’t ever stop spinning round!
I Get Around
Round round get around
I get around
Yeah
Get around round round I get around
I get around
Get around round round I get around
From town to town
Get around round round I get around
Im a real cool head
Get around round round I get around
Im makin real good bread
Im gettin bugged driving up and down the same old strip
I gotta finda new place where the kids are hip
My buddies and me are getting real well known
Yeah, the bad guys know us and they leave us alone
I get around
Get around round round I get around
From town to town
Get around round round I get around

Im makin real good bread
Get around round round I get around

Get around round round oooo
Wah wa ooo
Wah wa ooo
Wah wa ooo
We always take my car cause its never been beat
And weve never missed yet with the girls we meet
None of the guys go steady cause it wouldnt be right
To leave their best girl home now on saturday night
I get around

From town to town
Get around round round I get around
Im a real cool head
Get around round round I get around
Im makin real good bread
Get around round round I get around

Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
Round round get around

"Ole" Baugh Road
Round Ole Baugh Road its a great place kids to grow
Some grow up and move away
Most of us decide to stay
Round the oleBaugh Road
Hard working mom and dad
Gve us things that they never had
I our corner of the world
Romance is slow for the boys and girls
Round the ole Baugh Road
The neighborhood still looks the same
just new kids with the same old names
My Baugh Roads in a southern state
Yours may be anywhere, USA
Look around ole Baugh Road.
I see the kids on Ole Baugh Road
I see the glory of the future glow
Look to the Heavens and give a shout
Like my daddy did when he started out.
Round, round, round the ole Baugh Road,
Round, round, round,
Round, round, round
Round, round, round,
The OleBaugh Road
Round, round, round,
Round, round, round...

Inside my happiness...
Inside my happiness, there is nothing but happiness for me.
Inside my happiness, the colors are so bright and vivid and I am able to see everything clearly.
Inside my happiness, there were no dark times because in my happiness the sun always shines.
Inside my happiness, there is no pain, there is no fear and there certainly is no doubt.
Inside my happiness, we all live as one and there is peace for all beings.
Inside my happiness, there is God and he has planned all of this for me.
Inside my happiness, addiction never happend.
Inside my happiness, there are no sorrows and no tears for the hurt doesnt exist.
Inside my happiness, there is you, and you are everything.
Inside my happiness, there is a woman who is ready for life.
Inside my happiness, there is nothing but happiness for me.
