Potted Banyan
Somebody had pinched it
Of its swiftness and vigor
Its might, its hands
Its roots, its girth
Its fearlessness that could
Challenge the sky
Somebody somebody
Mercilessly, gradually
Beautifully had stolen away all
Its mettle, stay-put spirit
Against hammering winds
Had been manipulated
It’s now bent in absolute obedience
Even at the command of mere finger-tips
They cashed on its innocence
And made it believe
This life, here, is
Beautiful and attractive
Full of green in youthful vitality
Extended to a hundred yojanas
With umpteen uses
Once upon a time
It had spread its kingdom of life
Alas
Now potted
In two fists-full earth
Now reduced
To arid eyes looking for water
Somebody had pinched it
Of its swiftness and vigor

A thought itself a fear
It is the life itself that I fear
Full of challenges and agony to bear
It was never a threat
Still it made me to sweat
I have loved it to full extent
I have nothing to comment
No praise either or to lament
I consider it as heavenly sent
Simple thoughts have made me poor
It made me to knock from door to door
I had courage to withstand till the last
Life was moving very fast
I had tested it as sour
There was definitely a down pour
I faced with complete vigor
I did not consider it major but only minor
I would love to spend it in hilarious way
You may have definite role to play
I shall surrender completely with nothing more to stay
I shall not hide the face and run away

Blooming Innocence! ! !
when i found a puppy
inside the gutter
waiting for someone better
I found innocence in filth
when i ran after the stealing squirrel
who took my nuts spread for shine
i found innocence in the greens
full of life, spirit and cheers
when i hugged the face of life
so near, so dear, so close to heart
i saw innocence dripping down to earth
all my dearest fellow beings starved to death.

Stolen Innocence
Her face is beauty
Yet marred by the pain in her eyes.
The tears she sheds
Fall to the ground
Like liquid diamonds
And shatter there alone.
And I cry for her
Stolen Innocence.
Tis a beautiful thing,
The raw purity of
Innocence in Youthful Bloom.
It's meant to last forever.
Meant to eternally bless those
Endowed with such a gift.
But when choice is stolen
And Beauty turns to Brokenness
I weep for its
Stolen Innocence.

Full Of Life Questions
life is full of unexpected,
life is full of challenges,
life is full of bitterness,
life is full of strife,
life is full of contentious disputes,
life is full of revenge,
life is full of hatred,
life is full of mystery,
sometimes.....
life is full of sweetness,
life is full of joy,
life is full of happiness,
life is full of hope,
life is full of dreams,
you can have all this life when the soul is in body, and you will be able to feel everything because this is real life to creatures who call the''human''
Have you thought to life after death? ? ? ?
Green, Green, and More Green
There is green everywhere,
even in peoples' hair.Some
on hands, some on shirts.
There is green everywhere!
Green, green, and more green.
I think I'm going crazy over green.
If you don't wear green you get pinched,
then you'll start to itch.
So many people are obsessed with green.
Green Spring, green air.Green feet, green wheat, green meat.
Green isn't very neat!

Complexities
Each one of us has a world of our own
Where this is the kingdom of perfection
Too perfect and without limitation
We keep on coming here off and on
Sometimes, round and round, we travel too far
Instinctively in an idled war
Between true and false or right and wrong
Then we stop! And these dreams were all thrown
Life is faultless in this world we each own
But we got much to learn outside its room
Known to earth that life is filled with regression
And often, the visits here are confession
Decors of desires, we spread them here
And glamour in life shows their existence
Then the richness of our dreams will wear
To ache, once more, back to our common sense
That life on earth is full of promises
And we can only have what is from God
Tests after tests; challenge after challenge
Our strength, day by day, it's all we had.

The Life It Once Had
The roaring waves awakened me,
the morning air full of mist.
I could hear the sea calling out to me,
its sole purpose was to exist.
Now its life was diminishing,
As the sea sang of its life.
Beckoning me to listen,
to the sad tale of its strife.
The life the sea once had,
was a life full of bliss.
Now the sea is reduced to sad,
dreaming of the life it once had.
The sea that once had been,
was full of life.
Now the sea, rid of its fins,
could not sustain life.
Because of the pollution,
coursing through its veins,
life had died out within the sea,
during the sea's mighty reign.
Now the sea is reduced to
living a miserable life.
Dreaming until it could once more awaken.
Ups and down in life
It is challenge from the day one
No escape route allowed for anyone
All the fruits to be enjoyed and burnt to be borne
Enough has been talked about
We are reserved and do not venture out
It has different tale with full of rout
How many might have succeeded and sustained?
Retain original shine and maintained
Life is before us and fully explained
Life has made us all the time to crawl
Still we are attached too much without making withdrawal
We have slept whole life and woke up like owl
Life was full of ups and down
We have failed to reject ills and tried to own
Finally the soul merges into soul
This has been continued for centuries
The concept of life still varies
Until you know it all, it is full of miseries
Not all may want it as full of challenge
They may struggle very hard to manage
The stage may come when life may be spent with age
In between whatever you did was quite memorable
Life was seen closely and understood as water bubble
Some might have proved to be luckier as free from any trouble
It is not important how much you lived
It has all mattered how you understood and believed
Pain and agony might have surfaced and relieved too
Is it confined only to have met two square meals?
Made it easy all the way with very nice deals?
Or was it spent with joy and happiness in real
I think we have answer in “no”
This fact is apparent and we all know
Amidst all uncertainties we have preferred to grow
It might have been divided into stages
The development can be written in pages
Sometimes with happiness and sometimes with rage
Can anyone write down honestly its outcome?
Certainly it has many aspects to welcome
Life should not be spent or be over as it had come
Is it merely breathless stage there after?
Does this all make us to roar in laughter?
It is interesting and admirable chapter
I may not know facts until I am full in
There is no loss, gain or win
It is how you take it and feel in
I have seen it as life emerging all of sudden
It was never thought before hand even
It has hunted us from time to time even then
Many more experiences may be inked
Life and death may be closely linked
We may think intensely with eyes half winked

Sleep
I enjoy myself when I see
You slowly slipping into sleep
Even while I keep talking to you
It amazes me to see
Sleep, like a lantern-genie
Appearing before you with folded hands
As and when you command
Just as an infant wraps
The mother confidently and steadily
Sleep seeks refuge in you
I enjoy myself when I see
Sleep suddenly coming from nowhere, spreads its wings
On your lashes
The same sleep to grace me, I need—
To hunt desires
Fears to haunt
To tire myself running
Into me, from me
Like doors at the mercy of gales
My thoughts will have to make my
Lashes flutter a hundred times
Finally sometime around wee hours
Sleep hits the disconcerted shores of my heart
Of brewing hurricane
That weakens at unknown early hours
Sleep to me is an agonizing death
It’s a great experience
To see sleep possess you
With such felicity

Dream Chasing
When I was little
I would often run
Far and wide
Chasing the horizon,
Where
The dirty brown of earth
Meets
The beautiful blue of sky.
My run,
Never ended
I am still running,
May be,
One day
I will reach
Where
The dirty brown of earth
Meets
The beautiful blue of sky
And let my thumping heart
Rest
A little while.
When I was little
I would often leap
High and hard
To catch the rainbow.
Its seven colors,
So dazzling and bright.
My hands
Are still empty
I am still jumping,
May be
One day
I will touch the rainbow
And color my hands
All the seven colors,
And possibly paint
the canvas of my world
Dazzling and bright.
When I was little
I would often ape
Madly and badly
The whirlwind,
Dancing in fast circles
The fine dance of vigor,
Energy and love.
I have not yet mastered
I am still aping
May be
One day
I might just catch up
Like the whirlwind
Dance in fast circles
The fine dance of vigor,
Energy and love
Celebrating the thing
Called “LIFE”.

This Is My Life
Life defines in Metabolism,
In reproduction,
we make our miniature selves,
our look alike
In the power of adaptation,
like what is in now,
What is fashionable,
how I blend with all of you
How I mimic you,
how I become a clown to you,
Life in being nice
This is my life A short and a merry one
This my life In the middle of my own life
To life,
a life,
in the hope of discovering the meaning of my life,
My speech my poetry
Come to life with me
To the life,
for the life of one like me,
Not taking this life in my own hands,
Never,
never,
To life,
this is life
As big as life
as large as life is large
In resiliency,
in elasticity
Animations, cartooning, animate,
I vivify
I vilify
I quicken
I liken
The life force in my life’s functions
Drawn from life
to life drawn
Dream to life a life full of dreams
This liveliness, this sparkle
This effervescence of life,
this bubbling life like wine
This sprightliness like soft
Drink like energy drinks
This verve,
this vigor
this vivacity
Of life to life as big as life
My life
This is my life
This me I am life
I am energy
i am in this poem trying to run
away from everything in my life,
running in life
to life and life,
because of life,
for life.

In any age
In any age, cart load you can carry
If heart is strong enough to remain merry
There is no string attached with condition
It needs no power too for ignition
Lots of old people carry on with smile
Their life is still full of vigor and style
No one can say that charm is over
Couple walks hands in hand with full cover
Sun may be moving fast to set
Yet life is not all that about to be late
It may take its due course to act
But life is certainly a reality and fact
Blow on and move with all your strength
It can be made beautiful with good wave length
It is lovely to hear nature's call in morning
With mild sun rays shine in the late evening
Sea has all power but remains calm
Raises alarm with waves but cause no harm!
What is with us to loose in turn?
It is only happiness to retain in return
There is no more physical death when you feel young
Everybody dies here and remains unsung
Yet things can be felt better in last days
As new and novel method has found its way
Why any illness must come and take over?
When heart is at its full boom with cover?
Happy to feel at one end and make others same as well
Life has all its glory to feel and tell
you may have it all with strong mind
Worries are not taken care of and left behind
We are human being and can not remain complacent or blind
Life is to be lived full length with its own kind

When the rain drops fall on my head......
When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I feel the greatness of the nature
When the heat on earth vaporized
Then the clouds above makes the rain
When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I see the farmers are full of cheers
When the rain water roll on the ground
Then all the barren lands turns to green
When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I see the rain water runs down the mountains
When the rain water preserved in the built dam
Then there is no poverty on the land
When the rain drops fall on my head
Then I know the God sends it for us
When we do not go against the nature
Then the rain drops fall on the earth for ever

Life Is A Dance For You To Dance To
Life is every where
Life
Life is a challenge
Life is a gift
Life is a chance
Life is a tragedy
Life is lonely
Life is pain
Life is full of frustration
Life is a mystery
Life is love
Life is made of hurt
Life is not a bed of roses
Life is a dance for you to dance
Life is every state of mind
What is life?
Life is a puzzle, solve it
Life is full of unexpected
Life is unexplainable
Life.

Everyone's Gone To The Moon
Everyone's Gone To the Moon
by Pee Wee King, Chilton Price and Redd Stewart
sung in the special "Art or Bust"
Streets full of people all alone.
Rows full of houses never home.
Church full of singing but it's out of tune.
Everyone's gone to the moon.
Eyes full of sorrow never wet.
Hands full of money all in debt.
Sun disappears in the middle of June.
Everyone's gone to the moon.
Long time ago life had begun
and everyone went to the sun.
Hearts full of motors painted green.
Mouths full of chocolate-covered dreams.
Mobs that can only lift a spoon.
Everyone's gone to the moon.
Everyone's gone to the moon.
Everyone's gone to the moon.

English Translation:
When the relationship of life is severed
All bonds are mere bondages only
Draping the shawl of dreams around her shoulder
When she walked seven steps with father
Mother’s eyes were treasures of dreams
Harvesting springs of romance in her cheeks
When she served cupped hands full of nectar
Mother’s eyes were Picasso’s paintings
Floral buds bloomed
Like the rare moments which viewed secrets
Mother’s eyes were wondrous circles
Now
around mother
Chains of restraints
Silence alone is her companion
In the moment she dedicated her life to the kitchen
Mother’s smoke filled eyes were
Surrealistic images
When she remained alive in her grave
Between four walls of her house
Mother’s eyes were silent water falls
When well lettered mother
Was felt ungraciously wounded
Mother’s eyes were expressions beyond language
