Destiny

Dasarath’s indulgent love for Ram
Ram’s absolute committment to word and deed
Kaikeya’s undue desire
Lakshmana’s allegiance to the brother
Ravan’s lust and arrogance
Hanuma’s unwavering dedication
Sita’s uncalled for suspicion
Bhishma’s fervor to continue the family line
Dritarashtr’s uncompromising love for the son
Gandhari’s decision to blindfold
Kunti’s girlish whim
Yudhishtar’s weakness for dice
Draupadi’s vivacity and laughter
Duryodhan’s jealousy
Kamsa’s in imprisoning Devaki Vasudev in same cell
Karna’s loyalty
Gautama's in bird, beggar and body dead

Their destinies humble us
To infuse our frail beings
With equanimity humility and tolerance

Virtues are superior

Karna of the Epic Mahabhrata:
He was not grateful to his mother
Who gave him birth but
the one who gave him a crown.
Kumbakarna of the Ramayana:
He was grateful to Ravan for his salt
And laid his life for Ravan.
Vibishna, another brother of Ravan,
Deserted him to uphold the virtue.
Virtues are superior to loyalty.

The End Of The Family Line

With no complications
Fifteen generations
(of mine)
All honouring nature
Until i arrive
(with incredible style)
I'm the end of the line
The end of the family line
The end of the line
No baby pulled screaming
Out into this seething whirl
By chance or whim
(or even love ?)
Our family tree hacked into decline
And i'm spared the pain
Of ever saying
("goodbye")
I'm the end of the line
The end of the family line
The end of the line
The decision is mine
The end of the family line
The end of the line
I'm the end of the line
The end of the family line
The end of the ...

Family talk

The world is our home
The cosmos is our family
We should keep the secret
Within the family.

Here is our family
There is love there is hate
There is lust there is vengeance
There is jealousy there is greed
There is loyalty there is betrayal.

We are all here in the family
In this family no body is
Taking birth nobody is dying
And all are constant and eternal.
The world is our home
Our family and it is ours.

Gokul (Cascade poem-named for its cascading effect. It uses refrains of the first stanza-lines
The Cascade form has no rhyme scheme.

Gokul

Cascading events marched in the dark
Tenebrous war of lightnings flashed
Crossing Yamuna Vasudev fled
Gokul sprang prattling Krishna, Krishna

It was Kamsa the tyrant tortured
Feared of Devaki's child to kill him
He began killing each new born babe
Cascading events marched in the dark

Mathura grew dreadful by Kamsa
People were terrified and threatened
So alike Krishna's parents were jailed
Tenebrous war of lightnings flashed

Watching their babies being slaughtered
They prayed atleast their eighth child be saved
Dream-blessed they were guided by Lord's words
Crossing Yamuna Vasudev fled

With the divine babe in his hands up
Guarded by Adhisesha he walked
Through godly night showers to Gokul
Gokul sprang prattling Krishna, Krishna

Abraham Lincoln Poem = 2012

There's no better time to ponder Abraham Lincoln
Than a presidential election year like now.
From his humble beginnings in a one-room log cabin
He became our 16th president and here's how.

Abraham was a true believer and worshiper of God
And was always aware of His presence night or day.
He knew that evil shadows every woman and man
And before every decision he would meditate and pray.

The same so should we with both heart and soul
Ask God for His Devine answers in time of need.
As we face life's problems and the weakness of man
For jealousy, anger, hate, lust, love and greed.

Witch

Eyes, rivulets of red that run beneath a canopy
Of green-tinged lashes –
Tear blood playing on the grey-white skin,
Stretched across the twin peaks of cheekbone.

That slender pillar of a neck –
Magnet of eroticism, blinds to
Veins gorging on the flesh,
Dancing under pulse of blood –
Or whatever pumps inside.

Coal-black lips word intentions –
Castigations – variations of the horror
She was born to be.

O the hair! – a flame-orange avalanche
Thundering down to Hell
Where seething mounds of torn bodies lost their souls
To viler wants and fouler holes of
Scatological minds.

And the plunge of lavish breast –
E’er the siren’s weapon! –
Baits the mortal man –
Were he to chance his hand across
The certainty of doom.

But still we go, our weakness on display –
Hers will not a challenge be to see to our decay.

One Wished. One Had. One Glad It's Gone

When I think of you and trust,
I am thinking of us and no one else.
But Lately I am cautiously near you,
With suspicion...
I wish would go away.

What did you do when you did it?
I've been so blindly romancing you.
I stumble over my own fantasies!

When I think of you and Lust!
I...
Whew! !
Would you like that graphic?
And detailed?

I...do...not...hear...you.

'Why should I respond?
What's going on in your head and mine,
Are on two separate journeys.'

Where was I when 'that' happened?

'Not listening. Thoughtless. Uncaring and distant.'

And where did 'you' go?
The 'you' I thought I knew.

'I'm not going to waste a 'trip' on you.
We've been through that.
And...
Where do I go?
When did you start caring about that? '

So..
What was done you did,
Had to have been recent.
You have lost desire, passion...
And,
Don't say 'committment'!

'I will whisper it!
And maybe 'then' it will connect,
In your head.'

When I think of you,
I stumble over my own fantasies.
I am thinking of us and no one else.
I've been so blindly romancing you.
I stumble over my own fantasies!

When I think of you...
Now.
And what was done you did...
Whatever you did do...
I could not desire you without passion.
And well...
What 'is' committment?

'One wished. One had. One glad it's gone.'

As Fighter And Fought - Lord Krishna

[A scene from the hindu epic Mahabharatham
where both duryodhan and arjun come to lord
krishna for favors to sopport them in the war
KURUKSHETRA WAR]

Arjun sat near foot
duryodhan sat near his head
god in deep slumber

a war approaching
with a request both waited
god in deep slumber

Krishna wakes to see
arjun first and with a smile
'what is your request'?

he came before me
ask his request first then me
arjuna told god

turning his head to see.......

'duryodhan here too
may i know your request too'
krishna waits to hear

we need your support
you should help us in the war
duryodhan's request

krishna to duryodhan......

you may have come first
i asked arjun's request first
i shall help you both

thinking for a moment......

'duryodhan' he said
'you can have all my soldiers
whole of my army'

to arjun he said
you and your brother's have me
not as warrior

further krishna went on
i will not handle weapon
not as warrior

will be there for you
to take you around war field
as charioteer

duryodhan content
thought army was big asset
thought he got best deal

arjun content too
to have god as charoiteer
thought he got good deal

though god pleased them both
it was a war where he was
both fighter and fought

as charioteer
convinced a confused arjun
with the song of lord [BHAGAVATH GEETHAI]

No Love / Just Fate

Love what is love,
is it not the confusion we create threw the misconception of another four letter word -Lust
-
Lust what is lust,
but ones sensual desire to explore someone elses body with the soul intention of pleasure without commitment therefore avoiding the most important but five letter word -Trust
-
Trust what is trust,
is it not the secret to everlasting friendship threw the disposal of another four letter word-Envy
-
Envy what is envy,
but the one thing most capable of destroying the illusion of love for it is the main cause of my next four letter word-Pain
-
Pain what is pain,
is it not what we all have to endure to to maintain that which we are mislead to desire from birth -Love
-
Love what is love,
is it not the illusion we create in ones own mind to dissolve our deepest subconscious fear of dieing alone even though we have not the choice due to this four letter word-Fate
-
Fate what is fate,
is it not inevitable

A True Brother

A true brother is the one who
Builds an unbreakable bond with you
And it doesn't matter from where he came
Or if you were the same
It only matters that both of you share
Friendship, respect and care

A true brother may be old or even young
He may be also short or even long
Matter not the outside
Only look through him inside
If you found a pure gem,
Then this would be him

Don't say that your brother
Is only the son of your father
For he can be
Anyone you see
Anyone who shows loyalty
Accompanied by true principles pf morality

A true brother is the one who shows
Tolerance where ever he goes
A true brother is more than a friend
Where the formed friendship can never end
He is absolutely more than a buddy
He is like an organ in the body

A true brother is a hidden treasure
That conceals friendship's pleasure
He is the one who never lets you down
And never irritates you or makes you frown
And never leaves thee alone, but always be with you
When you're desperate, sad and glad too

A true brother is the one who you can trust
Because he knows that friendship is a must
Your secrets he'll never spread
In brief, it is true what is said
That a friend in need
Is a friend in deed

To be desire-less is pleasure-less

Dream is born of desire;
By dream multiplies desire.

Desire is born of lust;
By desire flourishes lust.

Lust is born of jealousy;
By lust bulges jealousy.

Jealousy is born of insecurity;
By jealousy deepens insecurity.

Insecurity is born of neglect;
By insecurity worsens neglect.

Neglect is born of contempt;
You be away from such contempt.

Being away will give you relief;
The relief, in turn, will give peace.

But the world you miss.
To live, then, is of no use.

Completing All The Touches

Her pupil shone –
Black stole a peek

Her smile wore sleek
Beneath a knowingness
That I would seek
A slipping down of garments,
Jealous of their role
To hide the jewels that complement,
Completing all the touches.

Lust Or Love

Music :klaus meine
Lyrics:klaus meine, herman rarebell, jim vallance
The innocence is gone
But still Im holding on
Searchin for love that lasts forever
Lookin for a place
Where love can hide away
Takin a chance its now or never
Maybe its time to draw the line
Theres just one thing thats on my mind
Is it lust, is it love
Whatever it is I cant get enough
Is it lust, is it love
When I look around tell me who can I trust
Is it love
Lovers come and go
Sometimes its hard to know
If this will be a night to treasure
When the damage has been done
And the hurting has begun
Youll justify a moments pleasure
Is it lust, is it love
Whatever it is I cant get enough
Is it lust, is it love
It aint nothin that I cant rise above
Is it lust, is it love
When I look around tell me who can I trust
Is it love
Lust or love
Maybe its time to draw the line
Theres just one thing thats on my mind
Is it lust, is it love
Whatever it is I cant get enough
Is it lust, is it love
It aint nothin that I cant rise above
Is it lust, is it love
Still lookin for more, its never enough
Is it lust, is it love
When I look around tell me who can I trust
Is it love, is it love, is it love
Is it love, is it love

Bibhishan's Warning

Twenty warriors armed and girded in the Council Hall arose,
Thirsting for a war of vengeance, hurling challenge on the foes,

But Bibhishan deep in wisdom-Ravan's youngest brother he,-
Spake the word of solemn warning, for his eye could farthest see:

'Pardon, king and honoured elder, if Bibhishan lifts his voice
'Gainst the wishes of the warriors and the monarch's fatal choice,

Firm in faith and strong in forces Rama comes with conqu'ring might,
Vain against a righteous warrior would unrighteous Ravan fight!

Think him not a common Vanar who transpassed the ocean wave,
Wrecked thy city tower and temple and a sign and warning gave,

Think him not a common hermit who Ayodhya ruled of yore,
Crossing India's streams and mountains, thunders now on Lanka's shore!

What dark deed of crime or folly hath the righteous Rama done,
That you stole his faithful consort unprotected and alone,

What offence or nameless insult hath the saintly Sita given,
She who chained in Lanka's prison pleads in piteous tear to Heaven?

Take my counsel, king and elder, Sita to her lord restore,
Wipe this deed of wrong and outrage, Rama's righteous grace implore,

Take my counsel, Raksha monarch, vain against him is thy might,
Doubly arméd is the hero,-he who battles for the right!

Render Sita to her Rama ere with vengeance swift and dire,
He despoils our peopled Lanka with his bow and brand and fire,

Render wife unto her husband ere in battle's dread array,
Rama swoops upon thy empire like a falcon on its prey,

Render to the lord his consort ere with blood of Rakshas slain,
Rama soaks the land of Lanka to the margin of the main!

Listen to my friendly counsel,-though it be I stand alone,-
Faithful friend but fiery foeman is this Dasa-ratha's son,

Listen to my voice of warning,-Rama's shafts are true and keen,
Flaming like the with'ring sunbeams on the summer's parchéd green,

Listen to my soft entreaty,-righteousness becomes the brave,
Cherish peace and cherish virtue and thy sons and daughters save!'

Humility And Pride

Two emotions deep down inside, are those of humility and pride,
They produce what men may see, in the life of both you and me.
A haughty spirit can sure reside, in a heart that’s filled with pride.
A humble spirit is in you and me, when you’re filled with humility.

You can lift yourself up with pride, but God’s Word is not denied,
And God’s Word is clear and loud, God will humble all the proud.
Men may believe that they are wise; but that is only in their eyes.
For all of pride, my dear friend, by The Lord shall be condemned.

Men who are humble and meek, by proud men considered weak,
By The Lord are never despised, but truly favored in God’s eyes.
The Lord will exalt humble men; for this is in His Word my friend,
They will be lifted up by The Lord, as by God they’re not ignored.

On the cross there was no pride, as Jesus Christ our Savior died.
Christ had displayed for us humility, as The Savior of all humanity.
The Eternal God, far from weak, was to all men humble and meek.
God’s example is for all to behold, and His Word will not grow old.

Friend pride can be a hindrance, to the life Christ has given to us,
Pride will never be used by God, but it shall be judged by His rod.
Allow Christ’s humble spirit within, then you shall be used by Him,
As only a meek and humble life, truly displays the power of Christ.

Love is my word,
Love is to hold,
Love is my sin,

Love is lust,
Love is my truth,
Love is my journey,
Love makes me horny,
Love is on me,
Love is what you see,
Love teach me how,
Love takes a bow,
Love never dies,

I Desire

I desire I desire
I pledge allegiance to the thought
That your love is all that matters
And your gestures have the power
To bring the whole world to its knees
Dont let me torment you
Dont let me bring you down
Dont ever let me hurt you
Dont let me fail because
I desire your attention
I desire your perfect love
I desire nothing more (than this)
(or less)
To give you happiness
Could become a lifetime goal
A smile I might bring you
Is more important than world peace
I pledge allegiance to the fact
That youre wise to walk away
For nothing is more dangerous
Than desire when its wrong

Hopefully Come Cascading

we work on some secret codes
you put the letter folding into three

rebellious
satirical
bully

i am, i am that reality subsumed bone-like
enticing

revealing sanctity
bonfire

you keep on telling space: i love you
i desire all of you
crush me, make love to me, bend me,
you kneel and worship
my humility cries
like some rain dripping from my lips
you love this game of the gods of love
and lust

hopefully come cascading
homespun cauldron composing

how come coldness?

reality stings bangs
robust shining body

come! come! hope comes cascading
real sweet boy

waits for a bed-ful of desire.

Under Suspicion

(d linde/ a rush)
Well, Ive been mistreated
Been lied to and cheated
Misused and abused
Like something that you throw away
First you fill me with thunder
Then you let me go under
You can run, you can hide
But you aint gonna get away
Coz youre under suspicion
Of leaving the scene of a broken heart
Under suspicion
Of a hit and run love affair
You aint got a conscience
And you made me the victim
Of a cruel and unusual crime
Now youre under suspicion
Under suspicion
Under suspicion
Under suspicion of a hit and run love affair
Hey yeah yeah
Whoo etc
No matter where you be going
I got ways of knowing
And somewhere down the line
Youre gonna have to pay
Hey
Coz youre under suspicion
Of leaving the scene of a broken heart yeah
Under suspicion
Of a hit and run love affair
You aint got a conscience
And you made me the victim
Of a cruel and unusual crime
Now youre under suspicion
Under suspicion
Under suspicion
Yeah under suspicion of a hit and run love affair
Yeah yeah yeah
Under suspicion
Under suspicion
Aint got no where to run coz youre under suspicion
Under suspicion
Under suspicion
Under suspicion
Of leavin the scene of a broken heart
Under suspicion
